NYFW - YAH YAH The Pyer Moss Show at the latest New York Fashion Week was widely consideredone of the very best shows of the NYFW season. I definitely concur! TuTchTfam Yahrock Bates killed it, as always, rocking a Pyer Moss / Sean John collabo leather suit as mad cool as the brother it adorned. The widely disseminated runway shots & vids of Yah Yah in action are pure chill-drippy fire. Yah Yah has steadily and quietly become a pillar of the Industry in the years since he began his journey. His gifts and skills were evident to many of us from square one and his has been an inspiring journey to watch. Even when ducking backstage to engage in some of the “hurry up and wait” of the Industry, his born-to-be-seen powers are still in full effect. . 4.Water security division : ensuring right to water for life + protect agriculture from impact of flood + drought 

5. Urban and industrial water division: cost effective technology for recycling + groundwater management in country

6. water quality division : control pollution

7. water data mgmt division : transparent put in public use

8.Knowledge managment and capacity development : build professional , institutions

9. Decentralisation:  Irrigation management transfer : IMT = State should give up tertiarylevel of canal irrigation to Water user association of farmers. restrict itself to main source and upto secondary canals

10. Participatory ground water management (see guj and MPmodel)

- drilling dept , distance between well, cropping pattern need community engagement

11. River rejuvenation: open regional office + interdisciplinary expertise for river basement management (as of now most offices in Delhi)

Other

-  the left hand of surface water does not know what the right hand of groundwater is doing => break silos

-  Gujarat and MP model of participatory last-mile connectivity should be deployed across the country

- Big dams, not the solution:  gap between irrigation capacity created and irrigation capacity utilised as massive low hanging fruit => CWC officers: China has almost 3x capacity for almost same population size . but a valid concern, before hirakund, bhakhra dam famines were frequent

- water is state subject = cooperative federalism needed
