Next trip plan to go to Joffre lakes on May 1st but we’ll see bc I sprained my big toe bad.

the clip didnt save right so i only have the shots. but basically hes saying that the hymn you hear in every temple, being sung by the fayth, wasnt always a symbol in favor of yevon. the al bhed actually started spreading it in defiance (they didnt come up with it obviously since it used to be a song in real zanarkand) and to save face the yevonites made it a yevon thing.

but then that implies that the fayth also started singing it in defiance of yevon. because if they had sung it from the start it wouldve always been a symbol of yevon.

I watched the Little Shop movie for the first time, thought it was fun and funky, and decided to look for a bootleg of literally any stage version assuming it would be basically the same thing, though curious about how certain scenes would be portrayed on stage. I was not expecting an ENTIRELY DIFFERENT ENDING and the Funniest Fucking Song I’ve ever heard to finish it off. 1000000/10 the best way I could have experienced that

thinking about Seymour and how he’s a foil to not just Yuna but to Tidus as well. How he is the story showing us what could have happened to either of them had just a few factors been changed.

Seymour Guado, biracial just like Yuna but unable to hide what he is. Too Guado to be human and too human to be accepted by the Guado until he is of use.

A powerful father just like Yuna and Tidus, but what might have happened if Tidus’ mother disappeared instead? Left him with a father that saw him not as a boy but as an extension of himself? Some legacy he had to live up to? What would have happened if Braska weren't a kind man? If he hadn't made absolutely certain someone would take Yuna away from Bevelle so that the political machine couldn't use her status and Braskas legacy as a weapon? If Braska hadn’t made sure that no one and nothing could shape her future but her own free will?

what would have happened if either one of them had been faced with the choice at SEVEN to sacrifice the one person who loved them unconditionally? To sacrifice them for a useless cycle no one would even believe him about if he told them? Sacrificed their own mother for a religion that didn't care for them? To please a father who sent him off KNOWING he would die? Because the only thing that would make Jyscal Guado proud of his half breed son would be to inherit his legacy? To make him a statue, a portrait with no voice?

GOD, Imagine Yuna or Tidus finding out at seven that there is no God that loves you. There is NO ONE that loves you, there is only power and weakness. Then climbing back down Mt Gagazet, alone, afraid and small, knowing they’ll never see their mother again?

- idk if this is fake news but apparently the expression is saying that the carpenter has to raise the roof (beam) bc the groom would wear a taaalll hat so he wouldn’t be able to go through a normal sized door 🎩

- I actually spent a long time on the shape of that knife, bc I didn’t watch all the seasons of Forged in Fire For nothing 😤😤

- I haven’t beaten the game yet but like, feel free to drop spoilers idc lol. I’ll read them while I’m making my way across Mt Massive with my thorough investigative skills. No locker unsearched! No under-the-bed-space unexamined! It’s a coward’s job, but someone has to do it 😮‍💨

Is there an aspect of your story, say a plot line or major development, that you couldn't finish or was personally difficult for you? What was it and why? Did you clench your teeth and write through it, or was it too much and you changed it? Pass it on!

tysm for this ask, and shout out to @zosa95 who also asked this ♥ So I tend to have a dark little mind and sometimes I feel like that conflicts with the simblr community's tastes a little bit, so I do find myself struggling with certain topics at times. I think after working with these characters for literal years, it can really be hard to let them go or let something bad happen to them. I often find myself putting those things off a lot. One example that comes to mind is Clementine's incident in My Darling 3, Seymour's recent accident in Mt. Komorebi, any death of a long time beloved character, or the next few yet-to-be-written updates in Moodlit, which I have been deliberately putting on the back burner now for reasons you will see one day when I get the gall to actually write it 😫
