okay but how did mudpaw and wrentail interact in public vs private. like how would they interact in the public eye. bc wrentail can’t really like body slam mudpaw if he’s being annoying or something so does he just act like a regular guy or what. okay what im asking is since u did a really good job writing the thing with mudpaw and the two other guys… cld u maybe write something exploring l mudpaw and wrentails relationship

Around the rest of the clan, Wrentail and Mudpaw’s whole mentorship/apprenticeship would seem a little stiff and awkward, and maybe some hostility could be detected, but it would likely be chalked up to teenage angsting on Mudpaw’s part. Wrentail wouldn’t be outright attacking Mudpaw or anything; maybe a few harsh words or pointed looks, but nothing that would seem like anything more than stern correction on Wrentail’s part.

Despite everything, Mudpaw and Wrentail were actually fairly similar in their outward demeanor; they were both fairly stoic and quiet (although Wrentail was far more visibly confident). On the surface, they might’ve even seemed like a well matched pair.

As for writing something with the two of them, I don’t have any particular ideas right now, but I will definitely post something if/when I do write again!!

I can't take it anymore. I'm sick of Leonardo. I try to write Titania. Leonardo feels better to write. I try to write Hinoka. Leonardo feels better to write. I try to write Rafiel. Leonardo feels better to write. I want to write Merric. He has been replaced by Leonardo. I want to write Klein, Ignatz. They both falter to Leonardo.

He grabs me by the throat. I update his blog. I update his interview. I give him Lughnasadh. He isn't satisfied. I take Kantele from an event. "I don't have enough Res buffs to play support with this" He tells me. "Give me more damage output." He grabs Micaiah and forces her to heal him by using Sacrifice. "You just need to funnel me more. I can deal more damage with Galeforce."

I can't give him Galeforce, I don't have enough skill points. He grabs all his finished threads. It's not enough. "Guess this is the end." He gets on his horse. He says "Rienfleche, get them." There is no hint of sadness in his eyes. Nothing but pure, devastating two attacks in a row at the cost of -1HP per hit. What a cruel world.

HAMMY'S POSTING. Had to go do other stuff after posting all those asks (they were in my priority list today), buuuut!! Since this was a very funny Freudian slip on my part (it was improvised and also funny, so I was not going to change it anyways), how about we go back to the subject of Pump burning things?

Pump's fascination with fire stems from a 4th of July incident where he, as a curious four-year-old, got too dangerously close to a lit aerial firework that did not fly up as intended. Even with experience with previous years, this was a freak accident waiting to happen, and he could have gotten seriously hurt if he had gotten his hands on it. Something about the smell of burnt grass, black powder stains in his hands, and getting flash-banged, had a life-changing effect on this kid that, for a couple of years, remained dormant. It was only after his grandfather stopped using his smoking pipe, and Pump came across his old Zippo lighter that... it awakened. And it has stuck around since.

Due to state laws pertaining to the subject, firecrackers are one of Pump's most valuable resources. They are only legal for purchase during the 4th of July season, and so he will put aside and hoard a bunch of firecrackers in his toy box and make them last until the New Years season for the rinse-and-repeat. It is for this reason that Pump carefully chooses when to use firecrackers, which takes an insane amount of self-restraint on his part. After all, who does not like tying something to a firecracker, lighting it up and watching it explode? Most of the time they are saved for more complex pranks or, because this is Pump we are talking about, scaring people he does not like. They could also be used for a very childish form of self-defense, but this has never crossed his mind.

EXTRA POINT: Pump is not the only one who handles firecrackers all year long: Roy and his friends also have their own hoard, as they get them from friends and relatives that live and/or drive out of state where it is legal to buy them. Knowing this, Pump has bought firecrackers off them at least once. He lost his entire allowance for that week, sure, because this is Roy we are talking about, but it was worth it.

Funnily enough, Pump knows a good degree of fire safety from his family. He knows how to put out small fires from going on camping trips with his dad (and because of that 4th of July incident) as well as the risks that come with leaving small fires, such as those from tossed lit cigarettes, unchecked. All of this knowledge, obviously, comes in handy whenever he wants to light something on fire. Or Eyes tells him to burn something. Most of his fires are small and controlled, usually things he wants to put under "the fire test", as he puts it. So what he wanted to do to Skid's Happy Fella the second he bought it, basically. Before the thing started moving on its own and Pump outright wanted to make it disappear. Have any of these fires ever gotten out of control? Yes. But they have never happened with enough of a frequency for them to be linked back to him. Yet. He is incredibly lucky he has not had the cops called on this.

Ed Sheeran used to kind of neg his wife in ways I found, offensive. Like we used to talk about how Taylor used to roast Joe for being like, a slightly above average rich british guy but poorer then her but how Ed Sheeran used to do it kind of, displeased me. I hope he grew out of it. Justin Timberlake spent like 20 years going after Britney Spears and never letting her go. The Weeknd also has toxic implications in songs uncritically, and never mind Drake but basically only Drake has had anybody go after him for his less then ideal song writing and toxic nature in his music. Actively targetting woman who displeased him.

A woman writing about her experiences is an attack, a man writing about his experience is just a guy with a story and it's such an annoying cultural hang up we have yet to outgrow. We saw that in the reaction to Manchild, people assumed Sabrina was talking about her exe (barry) or attacking him but she was talking more generally, actually. A woman can't just release a song about a thing which happened or a thing they notice in society or healing from a thing which made them sad / angry and it has to extra weight for no reason. (like what you said about Swifties being mean about Taylor's exes which she herself has said she released the album to put that hot mess behind her and let it go)

Point is, just let woman release their music and maybe try relating to it for a change instead of seeing it as some kind of attack on a man.

I totally agree anon! Men can release autobiographical work and nobody feels the need to play the muse game or tear it apart to find something wrong with it, it can just exist as is. With women it always turns into something bigger than them and they kind of end up being forgotten as people try to investigate what man the music is about. There are ways you can discuss the muse/inspiration while still keeping the writer of it attached and not completely losing them. The way I look at Taylor’s work is that these are her stories about her life and the men in them are simply secondary characters rather than the main focus. I think a lot of times people try to position the muse as the main character of these artists’ stories when it’s actually the artist themselves and their emotions that are the main focus of the story.

What Tragic Horror Character Trope Are You? My Result: the mummy here's the thing about mummies- why the hell is anyone opening up their tombs? you were resting. you were peaceful. but someone intruded, barged in and broke down your walls and stole all the parts of yourself that you cherished, and then blamed you for being angry. blamed you for chasing them down no matter how fast they ran and how many obstacles they put in your path. and you know what? they deserve your rage. they destroyed something sacred. they didn't give a shit, and they wouldn't ever have lamented their actions had it not been for you- the real hero- getting up and showing them that they don't have the right to destroy and pillage as they please. that is your home. that is your body. nothing they do can take that from you. if not for you, they probably would've kept breaking into tombs and disturbing restful lives without a second thought. you won't be repayed for your good, but i hope you know you are a saviour in your own right.

Replace "someone" with the Sonata of Darkness or just in general the componist who wrote the sonata and there is Senritsus entire motivation and rage. Yes, Senritsu mainly searchs for the Sonata so noone else goes through what her friend and her were forced to, but there also is a very deep, broiling rage in her. She was happy, she was peaceful, she had everything she wanted and just because someone wrote the Sonata of Darkness specifically to hurt someone (as in a Nen-curse beeing whats left of a dead person motivated by their last wish which was n this case to hurt anyone, everyone, even in decades after the persons death when the people listening to the Sonata having no connection to the componist) this happned to her. Yes she was drunk. But she was just drunk playing and listening to music. Music she loved and had dedicated her entire life to. She was drunk while harmlessly listening to music her best friend played for her. There is nothing wrong with that. "that is your home. that is your body. nothing they do can take that from you." Hits very close for Senritsu, especially since she is literally using the body she had gotten through beeing cursed (her sharp hearing)to hunt for the Sonata.

It’s both weird, funny and sad to me that I can only write scenes with deep feelings if I am also feeling those feelings in the moment of creation. Like sure, I can write a mournful scene but it would only ever be truly well written if I felt that way too.

I think that’s why my writing is not consistent the way I want it to be, because I am only unpredictably stricken with certain emotions and when I plan on writing I may not be “in the mood” for the scene. Very annoying but it’s honestly the way I like to do it, that way it feels more genuine, and otherwise I wouldn’t be able to immerse myself when writing.
