Maybe you knew this already, but I just discovered this morning that the incidental music they used for the Eyes of the Storm exhibition and promotional materials dates from 2007. It was a bonus song on a special edition of Memory Almost Full.

I don't know much about drums, but my friend does. He was very surprised Paul played the drums on this track. He was expecting it to be a good jazz drummer.
According to the-paulmccartney-project.com it was written for Paul's youngest child.

I Am Independent...Indie that is
Indie artists are the lifeblood of creativity, breaking away from mainstream trends to craft narratives that are raw, personal, and often deeply unique. Whether in film, literature, music or any other medium, these creators frequently bring fresh perspectives and explore themes that larger studios or publishers might shy away from.
"Against the Grain" by multi-instrumentalist Julianna Riolino, featuring Adrian Underhill, carries a rebellious spirit, encouraging listeners to embrace individuality and resist conformity. Julianna Riolino is a Toronto-based alt-country artist known for blending Americana, power pop, and folk influences into her music.
Riolino's songwriting often reflects themes of self-discovery, nostalgia, and resilience, drawing inspiration from artists like Jenny Lewis, Dolly Parton, and Emmylou Harris.

Introducing: Nate Franchesco
Nate Franchesco, also known as Nat Franchesco, is a versatile guitarist and multi-instrumentalist from Los Angeles, California. He has been making music since he was a child, and his eclectic taste enabled him to embrace many genres, including Blues, Jazz, Rock, Metal, Funk, Country, Classical, Flamenco, and Gypsy Jazz. Ultimately, his artistic goal is to show how broad the guitar can be. He believes there is always room for new sounds and ideas because the instrument’s expressive potential still has a lot to offer, even after so many decades (when considering the electric guitar, even more so going back to acoustic instruments!)
Nate has released two standout tracks that display his range. One is “Tightrope Swing,” an instrumental guitar-and-organ piece that blends punchy rhythms with melodic twists. The other is “The Prelude,” an acoustic and classical track first recorded in 2014. Both singles highlight his passion for crafting music that sparks interest and surprises the listener.
Much of Nate’s inspiration comes from legendary players like Jimi Hendrix, Wes Montgomery, Guthrie Govan, Andrés Segovia, and George Benson. He admires their style and spirit, and tries to capture that bold energy in his own work, and he formed a truly distinctive mindset when it comes to developing an open mind in terms of different styles and aesthetics. He strongly believes that each approach—be it hard-hitting rock or light, flowing jazz—can open up new paths in music and that all forms of musicianship have something to bring to the conversation. Free of dogmas and pre-conceived notions, Nate gets to fully tap into a broad spectrum of skills and ideas.
He is just as comfortable with smooth jazz phrasings as much as you might find him blaze through a heavy metal riff with the same natural intensity. On social media, Nate shares updates on his shows, studio sessions, and creative process. He likes to give a behind-the-scenes look at how he writes, records, and practices. Many find it inspiring to watch him evolve and build upon each project.
By exploring multiple genres, Nate Franchesco has carved a unique path in the music world. His dedication, broad range of influences, and willingness to experiment make his work stand out. Find out more: https://www.instagram.com/nate_franchesco?igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ%3D%3D&utm_source=qr
