Does anyone else relate to the multishipper struggle of reading a really good fic for one pairing but then someone interacts with a different person you ship them with and bc its a good fic they have complex well-written interaction so now you kinda wanna ship them with the other person even though you read this for the original pairing. So now I have to go and look for fics of the other ship now and the cycle repeats until i decided to read a polyfic about them.

Basically:

Me: reads a fic shipping A and B

The fic: *has good character interaction between B and C*

Me, a multishipper who also ships B and C: Now wait just a minute

Me: *Furiously finishes original fic and goes to find a B x C fic and then the process repeats*

You guys ever waffle back and forth on a character? Like now that I'm thinking about gay Jonathan, I'm also thinking about Pansexual Jonathan, Bisexual Jonathan, Trans Jonathan, genderfluid Jonathan, Polyamorous Jonathan with Steve and Nancy with Argyle. . .etc. It's strange how your thoughts change when you suddenly decide to like a character. It's like when you're little and you pick the petals off the flowers. He loves Steve, he loves Nancy, he loves them both, he loves Argyle, he loves them not! Or like when you look in the closet and you try to find the perfect outfit, but they all look good. I'll let you know what I decide, but I guarantee you that it's probably going to look something like this:
