I gave up on graphics and icons because photoshop requires you to do fifty billion steps and five hours of processing to batch icon, so we ball iconless and graphicless LOL I am tired and just wanna write ♡ if creativity strikes me in the future, cool, sure, I'll make stuff. But otherwise, I am too broke to commission people and too tired to fight with photoshop, so we're going to our ROOTS and going straight vanilla :D

My mom always corrects me whenever I refer to my great-grandmother. So I have two sets of grandparents, one on my mom’s side and one on my dad’s side.

I don’t call my grandmother and grandma on my mom’s side "Grandma and Grandpa." I call them Nana and PopPop. Informal, affectionate slang.

But I call my grandma and grandpa on my dad’s side "Grandma and Grandpa."

I also call my great grandma, grandma too. But she complains to me that "That’s my grandma, your grandma is on your dad’s side."

okay WELL IVE CALLED HER GRandma MY WHOLE LIFE WHY WOULD I SUDDENLY CALL HER A DIFFERENT TERM- I KNOW SHES MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER.

I'm half tempted to put a major hold on the whole story writing thing. Lately, that's all I've been doing here and not really interacting.

Which I imagine has put off a lot of people. And it's almost put me off as well, as I'm severely limiting myself and others.

So that's what I think I'm gonna do. Just going to develop it in the background with general headcanons and leave it at that for the time being.

even with @platiinums who i rp with conSTANTLY, I legit made a spreadsheet to keep track of who is best to send memes to and from whom because otherwise im like uhhhhhhhh

BUUUUT it'd be super helpful if i got some sort of nudge as to which muse of mine you're interested in and for who (so i can then make more spreadsheets lmaooo). especially if we don't chit chat much ooc. between freezing up with choices and being generally shy, i'm aware i can come across as not interested and that's not the case and i dont want it to hinder building threads and stuff QnQ

His emotions are definitely part of the fun lol. with mine, they all seem to be on a hair trigger release and theyre always felt strongly. if hes happy hes smiling, if hes sad hes crying or close to it, angry hes gonna yell, and scared hes gonna hide no matter who hes standing in front of. hes the stark opposite of writing gundham where its more fun to figure out how his repressed emotions would be shown, kazs heart is there on his sleeve no matter how hard he tries to hide it from the world. gundhams closed in where as kaz wants the comfort of others, but was told it wasnt something he should want

another thing i find fun is the exact faucets of his trauma surrounding his dad and how they come to pass. everyone is different with their Stuff, but kaz outright admits in the game how cruel his father is with very little prompting, and i believe theres only one mention of his mother depending on which dialogue option you pick during a FTE, and it lends a lot of question as well as answers with how and why its affected him. hes just a silly little guy (who the game did Dirty but ill save that rant for another time lol) and hes one of those characters where if you really pay attention they tell you so much about him and what makes kaz kaz, even if the writers never intended it that way. its much the same with gundham and his "my mother was an angel and my father was a demon" Thing, sure hes just a funny chunni but part of the fun is taking whats meant to be a joke and making it work

While I'm thinking of it, heres a little tit and tat about how i personally see husk and alastors relationship and the direction i will be coming at it from in rps unless my partner has different ideas. if you dont wanna read the whole this, tldr is that theyre friends when it really comes down to it, husk is just Grumpy by nature and al likes to push his buttons

generally, we havent really seen al using his 'deals' in a malicious way, the two weve seen him make in the show arent for souls, theyre for favors, which leads me to believe he doesnt make deals for souls in of themselves, but as an unbreakable means to an end. which brings me to his deal with husk:

the question as a whole is why alastor didnt just use husk as scream fodder like every other overlord he took down, and the answer to me is that they really were friends. drinking buddies, musical partners, there has to be a reason al kept husk around. I like to believe he 'took' husks soul simply to get it before someone worse could as a means to keep it safe. we havent actually seen thus far it being all that bad for husk, aside from forcing him to work at the hotel. the one time alastor threaten husk is when his own deal was brought up with Whomever, and at first husk is annoyed at the collar then scared when it hits him that he messed up. husk is able to push and pull and poke at al in a way very few seem allowed to do, not to mention he knows about that deal in the first place when clearly alastor is touchy about it.

all in all husk and alastor are friends, and the deal wasn't made out of any malice or grab of power. husk is simply a grumpy old cat, as is his right given the circumstances, but hes grumpy to everyone, so its less that he dislikes al and more hes just being husk. al pushes his button, and he pushes back and lives to tell the tale. husk isnt happy about not owning his own soul but even he knows he has it easy compared to others that have made a deal with alastor, and to top it off al offered him booze to stay at the hotel. even if it was 'forced' in some capacity, husk was given compensation for his efforts. al clearly values husk, and deep down husk knows it, its why hes not afraid of al unless being Directly threatened because Duh
