[For the people concerned over the whole @jacynkaplanbrake and Nonny thing, please don't be. I've been interacting with them long before Nonny even had a blog, and I know that Jacyns mun cares about the people they RP with. I trust that if I say I'm uncomfortable with something then they'll stop it, because they're a good person. Please remember that muses don't reflect the muns 💜

Anyways, us muns (which Jacyns mun started the convo btw, they were that concerned over the whole thing so trust me when I say that they're a good person. They are not their muse) talked it over and set concrete boundaries about Jacyns future behaviour as a character towards Nonny. I said that I don't mind it but if at any point I might mind it, we agreed that I'll let them know about my being uncomfortable (this goes both ways Jacyns mun!!)

Another thing I wanted to let be known is that Nonny wasn't planned to have kids or be in any (serious) romantic (not sexual!!!!) relationships with anyone. There are only two possible characters that Nonny would even feel a hint of romantic emotions to and Nonny hasn't interacted with either for quite some time anyways

Besides, I find it a bit insulting on Jacyns mun's behalf that people would flock to badger Jacyns mun instead of asking both parties about it. I get that you're concerned about it, but please remember that for a conversation to happen it takes more than one person to have it. So considering the fact I have been roleplaying on Tumblr for, I wanna say... about 10 years now, I think you could conclude my sample size has grown considerably large, meaning I've had my fair share of run ins and encounters with many people over the years; in fact, I've dabbled in various fandoms and even once had over 1000 followers at some point. Granted, I don't really remember everyone I've interacted with, let alone all the mun handles others have gone by because my memory is by no means photographic, but when it comes to the animanga/fandomless OC side of the RPC... I will admittedly be honest and say there are a lot of people I personally dislike as well as people who dislike me (with some having reasons even I'm not always privy to, because some blogs that have me blocked would belong to muns I've never engaged with, IC or OOC-wise, and not everyone would divulge reasons why they may hardblock someone in their rules).

Now, will I go out of my way to publically url-drop these people and put them on my DNI list? No... in fact, I could never bring myself to disclose to someone they had also tagged not only me in a dash meme, but somebody else I have beef with, let alone bring up to a partner that the person they later went on to add to their affiliates/mains list was someone I coincidentally had blocked, because to me, it feels like the fastest way to step on toes.

I mean, thankfully, there hasn't been any circumstance yet where a partner has mentioned a muse I had specifically hardblocked in a thread because very few seemingly treat their affiliates like characters who are specifically connected to their lore the way I do, but I won't lie, it's always so awkward... being tagged in the same dash meme as another mun, who I've been actively trying to avoid, or learning a partner is now affiliated with someone I always couldn't stand. However, I can't bring myself to let a partner know that actually, I have them blocked either, so while I don't care to control who my mutuals interact with because they ultimately get to decide who they associate with at the end of the day, I also can't help worrying that at one point... a partner would eventually mention someone I have beef with in passing conversation, causing me to have to decide on either telling the truth or pretending everything is fine and dandy when it's really not.

Honestly, I've had mutuals who would vent to me about their partners who I either blocked or was blocked by before, but never did a situation arise where a partner would praise someone they're friends with while blissfully unaware I happen to secretly detest them. Then again, I don't doubt it's a thing that may realistically happen, due to the fact that these days, nobody would really know who hates who (unless their partners happen to be involved in drama that's publicly bombarded onto the dash for everyone to see or they have partners that like to gossip about other muns).

However, I'm not so naive as to believe that behind closed doors, people from the RPC haven't potentially talked about me or have been like, 'Yeah, Livi has me blocked :/' to their friends on Discord servers I don't have access to, because I for one have done the same (especially since sometimes, you just gotta air out your grievances privately so it doesn't end up festering inside you). Still, while I don't have any qualms, explaining why I have so and so blocked if asked, I also don't want to trigger situations where one person would be the weird mediator between me and another person I have blocked due to the fact that would be akin to block evasion.

...Nevertheless, I constantly feel as if I have to watch my back despite keeping my offline conversations away from public view and it's so damn exhausting, not knowing when drama would brew. Heck, I remember one time on COAR, a stranger even ended up arguing with someone on my behalf/url-dropping my blog (despite me never wanting them to do so), causing a full blown argument to erupt that spanned more than 100 notes underneath a posted confession. Honestly, it had gotten so bad, the mods had to actually step in and remind everyone they expect them to be civil while commenting on confessions... so I can't help being paranoid that even if I do stay in my own lane, I'll be involved in drama again.

Muse shipping between muns will fall under the same umbrella of discussion; it will not happen or advance prominently unless we discuss it first.

Direct messages are for plotting, one-on-one talk, and silliness behind closed doors. I will not roleplay through them. Discord roleplaying? Click this text once a server exists for its renovated purpose and a link is added to access the server.

Reply length and text styling don’t matter; accurate grammar does. Make sure it’s legible so I don’t have a migraine trying to understand it.

Crossovers, original characters, alternate parallels, muse doubles, and non-mutuals are welcome and encouraged. I just might have colder feet making the first move if we don’t know each other though, although I will sometimes send a starter to such people.

One ask, reply, or @ is all you need to make a starter or to nudge me regardless of the source or plot. While I do my best to respond quickly, rapid responses aren’t always on the table. I’m 24, have a job IRL, and sometimes have my own stress & baggage like everyone else, so that takes priority. One DM or @ after at least a week is what you’ll get from me when I’m nudging YOU.

COMMUNICATION IS KEY. If something’s going wrong, you want to drop a thread, might pause a thread, need something tagged, or simply don’t want to continue something, just tell me. I won’t be mad. I don't usually annoy Mun. We have a pretty peaceful relationship and I try my best not to bother or overwhelm her (too much), just as she tries not to push me over my limits if I am not in the mood to answer a certain question or talk about a specific thing. What I will admit tho is that sometimes I get kinda lonely and I start missing my dear beloved Suguru, so I go to Mun and ask her to check on my behalf on Suguru and his Mun if things are okay on their end.

We agree on quite a lot of things actually. One of them being that all bullies should be punished for their actions and that they should go through counseling and therapy sessions to at least try to better themselves if they want a second chance. We also agree on the fact that a book shouldn't be judged by it cover and that there's much more to a person than just their appearance and what they want to lead people on to believe about them. Oh, and we also think that shit talkers are some of the worst scums out there and big cowards, since they can't own up to their words and actually tell them straight to the other's face. @rapturcd - Where to start to describe a friend? Nox is a close online friend whom I’ve had the pleasure of following for the last few years now. We’ve been able to keep up with each other from blog to blog, and continued to do so when she revived this blog right here, a Bioshock oc. I’ll admit that when I saw her move here, I had no clue what the hell Bioshock was other than some video game. I’ve been graced with so many exciting details, passion has been poured into every message and post she makes upon the dash, it instantly made me a fan of this little franchise. Though the Bioshock rpc is small, Nox has found a way to make it her own. Her blog is filled with so much helpful information, and one look at her extremely well thought out, and detailed OC page will tell you all you need to know about this vast universe. With every OC she makes, it’s done with love and care, but something about Nicholas is truly special. Aside from being from one of the most interesting and unique fandoms, Nicholas was crafted with more detail than the gods could give any living being. Nox is also a plot driven writer, I know I am too so if that’s your thing, you’ll be glad to know not only is she a peach but she’s very fun to bounce ideas with! She helped me learn so much about Bioshock, it made plotting feel effortless and an overall thrill. If you don’t follow her, not only are you missing out, but I’ll personally be offended on her behalf.

@segadore - It’s been a few years now, and I have not been able to get Fawn off of my tail, damn you— I’M KIDDING, no but really, Fawn and I have been buddies for the last few years, and I started following her on her Steve Harrington blog. I’ve already gushed in the past about how much I love her Steve, so in the same way she’s so kindly embraced my OCs, I’d like to do the same with hers. Let’s start off with this: Fawn is the one person I see constantly and without a second thought embracing all writers, you could write an oc, canon muse from a different fandom, female oc, doesn’t matter– she will love them like her own. You speak with Fawn ooc, and you’ll feel at home, you’re never a bore nor bother. They’re one of the few people in this RPC I feel so genuinely safe around, and they make me feel like a valued writer even when I’m being ignored by others on the dash, I feel important, and it’s thanks to them. Fawn writes a very amazing muse named Mykah, from what can only be described as a non-existent fandom. I learned about Dead Like Me through her, and I’ve since been completely hooked on this concept and universe. Mykah is a very special, and well-thought out muse. He’s a soul collecting reaper from California, and he’s got so much wit, charm, and attitude, how could you not love the guy? He’s got a tough exterior, but he’s so funny as well, you can tell when you’re reading something Fawn wrote, they have such a unique tone, your eyes will be glued to the screen instantly as soon as you see a reply in your inbox. From the bottom of my heart, I hope we continue to write for years to come. If you want some fresh content you’ve never seen before, and perhaps one of the kindest friends, with the most goddamn creative mindset, please, go look at Fawn’s content. For the love of GOD go look.

@wyntered​ - You know how when your favorite musician or celebrity makes a post on Instagram or twitter, you go “Ah! There’s _____ again, classic ol’ _____, love them.” and you get all giddy in your seat, overwhelmed just by their presence even if it isn’t for you? That’s how I feel everytime I read each and everyone of Chantelle’s posts. I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t get to read all of my rp partners replies to other folks, sometimes I’m too busy, or honestly? I don’t feel like it. But the amount of effort and research they’ve put into this, how could I not? I love reading both her replies to myself and other people, I love reading her meta posts and headcanons, because I know it’ll not only be helpful but just wonderful. It’s also so nice to see how much care she’s put into writing such a complicated man like Bucky Barnes, her portrayal is uniquely her own, and she’s truly made sure to set a realistic example for others. I’ve learned so much, and it’s thanks to her. They’ve also been so gracious in writing with my own Marvel OC, Alice, and never act annoyed or bothered. That’s not something you often find with people who write popular canon muses, but it’s something I’ve been lucky enough to find with Chantelle. Do yourself a favor, buckle up, and get excited. Go and give her a follow, because I just know in my heart she’ll be more than happy to embrace you with open arms. Thanks for giving me the most iconic and kickass friendship for my daughter! It’s probably obvious to y’all by now that I love Chantelle’s work, so you know this message is genuine.

@capnsolo - I found out a few weeks ago that Kayla and I have been mutuals for years, and neither of us knew it. We’ll ignore that for now. I know Kayla as the most fantabulous Han Solo mun on the block, no really, she’s amazing. We found each other again because I writer princess Leia ( over on @/hopescorned ) and well… SCOUNDRESS! Together, we’ve managed to create our own little version of canon to their storyline, and we continue to develop it each time we speak. I’m not very good at articulating my thoughts, but my point is, Kayla is a very skilled, and creative woman. She’s smart, she knows how to use canon as a crutch, but doesn’t rely on it. She let’s her brain do the talking, and she knows how to collaborate well with others, and happens to be very open minded and flexible to other people’s muses. No matter how outlandish the idea might be for a story, Kayla will find a way to work with it. I’ve never seen someone capture Han’s tone so well, each time I read one of her replies, I can truly see and hear Harrison Ford acting each of the stories we create, out in my head. She has a way with her words, and she’s a true talent. Please, even if Star Wars isn’t your think, at least give her work a chance, it’ll be a pleasant surprise.

@nostlgic - Ash & I have been writing together since February, and the day we started speaking, they were one of the kindest souls I’ve been graced with speaking to. A passionate writer, you’ll be pleasured to see that their muse list is rather long, and diverse. Ash is the kind of writer that is always up for the challenge. You have an OC no one is interested? Cool, Ash is now interested in writing with them. You have a crazy rp idea you want to pursue? Ash is the first in line to give it a try. Whenever I write with Ash, I know it’s going to be a new and exciting adventure, each story is different from the next, and with each muse, they shift tones effortlessly; Stephen King would envy them. I made a post probably a month or two ago about how I wanted to write with an Edward Scissorhands, and within approximately 10 seconds, they volunteered to add him to her muse roster, and a mutual friend of ours even went to comment “I was going to tag Ash but it seems she’s already here” and why is that? That’s just the kind of person Ash is, and I truly love it. Go and peep her profile, because I can guarantee there’s at least one muse you’ll want to write with.

1. On formatting

I don't really care too much when it comes to formatting tbh. By which I mean I don't care if you do it or don't do it. I format my posts cause I like the way it looks so you do you. I will say though, cause I'm on mobile 90% of the time when people use a special kind of font that only comes up as little blocks for me (eg: [][][][]) it can become a real struggle on my behalf but only when it's the whooole reply done in that font. Cause I can't copy and paste the text, it'll come up the same in my word docs as those little blocks and I really don't wanna have to search up every single word on Google to find out what it is 😅 (I'm talking about para replies here: a few words at the start of a reply doesn't bother me at all).

2. On OCs.

I love ocs! There should be more of them tbh. I do wish female ocs were treated the same as canons and male ocs though. I know all have their own struggles, but lbr, female ocs have always had it way worst. I also don't like the double standards that female ocs have to work three times as hard just to get noticed. I wish this community was more accepting of ocs. It's like the saying that all canons started off as ocs at one point.

3. On smut.

I think it's obvious by now I have absolutely no problems writing smut hahaha. I love it cause it helps push my writing limits after just writing angst and fluff for years and years. I also like talking about sex headcanon stuff as it helps further develop the muse's relationship (whatever it may be) even further. I only have a few rules myself when it comes to smut such as no underage stuff and no FxF romance/smut as my muse is straight. But I'm also totally respectful of rules other people have also about smut, as well as those that don't smut at all.

how would you deal with a character who hates /barates / is hella mean to your muse for 0 reason? i did talk to the admins about it and the response i got was ppl can be mean to your muse. won’t lie it makes me a little anxious anytime i get a response from that chara.

i’m so sorry i’m very stupid what does barates mean ????? sorry ! but also tbh i’m not great with rping negative connections either .. it makes me super anxious especially when i have no relationship with the mun . honestly i think that’s a slack answer on the admins behalf . you can have a mean / rude character but a ) don’t expect that character not to get backlash b ) types of “meanness” can be extremely triggering to people ( like passive aggressiveness for example ).
