how i think bsd characters would hug: misc edition

jouno: jouno wouldn't hug much besides in private, because being fully wrapped in another person's embrace is a vulnerable position (and possibly overwhelming for him in a sensory manner). at first he's a loose kind of hugger, just patting your back and stuff, but he gets there eventually :') he'd tuck your head under his chin and strokes your hair, he gets very close and intimate because your scent and sound grows comforting to him.

tecchou: tecchou is so aloof, i don't think this poor boy is used to hugging people very much. that being said he's surprisingly cuddly. he would kinda sway side to side while he hugs you if you know what i mean? when you're laying in bed together he would rest his head on your chest and wrap his arms around your torso. tecchou LOVES to use you as a pillow. he's lowkey a little clingy and would very much wrap his arms around you in public even if he probably shouldn't.

mushitarou: mushitarou seems to me like someone who'd be uncomfortable with hugging. he thinks it's too intimate of a gesture to share with someone, even an s/o lowkey. so you need to be patient while he warms up to it, but once he does he gives very sad hugs. he hugs you like it's the last time he'll ever get to, and while it's sometimes a bit much he's just trying to show his appreciation. hug him back :( he probably wouldn't hug in public though because he'd get embarrassed lol

sigma: wow he is a good hugger! his hugs are his way of communicating that he's there for you, as someone you can come to for comfort (and that he loves you very much!) he squeezes, but not super hard, just hard enough for it to feel like a sincere embrace. he prefers more to just put his arm around your neck or waist or hold your hand when you two are in public. he really likes physical affection, but he's a little shy about it at first ♡

i’ve been having mushipoe brainrot for the past few days so please let me present something for your shipping consideration.

as you manga readers know, mushitarou is currently staying at poe’s mansion for protection. and we know how strangely excited poe is to be hosting him.

but people are overlooking just how kindly poe is treating him and how it’s the warmest we’ve ever seen any character treat mushitarou.

poe is saving his life rn. all he needed to do was host him and that would’ve been enough. but poe was concerned about keeping him entertained. he encouraged mushi to engage in a personal interest to keep his spirits up :)

and later, we see him checking in on mushitarou. i imagine he heard mushi’s shout from a few panels prior and came to check on him.

and look how satisfied he is when he sees mushitarou finally writing. from what he’s thinking in these panels, we can tell that he wasn’t just concerned with entertaining mushi. he wanted to give him an emotional outlet, as well. poe is aware of mushi’s past, that we can assume. he wants to help him cope with his grief. he wants to help him heal <3

if that wasn’t sweet enough, i’ve picked up on a little detail that most probably haven’t. yes, this means that i’ve skimmed this section of the manga over and over again..

we can see here that mushi falls asleep without any blankets

but after he wakes up, we explicitly see that he has one on.
