Sheikh Abdellatif Darf man Hilfe bei den Gräbern suchen
Transkript Islamvortrag Sheikh Abdellatif:
NEIN!! Hadha Shirk ul akbar! Du rezitierst doch “Iyyaka Na’budu wa iyyaka Nasta’een” mindestens (5 Mal am Tag) .
Wo ist dein Verständnis dafür? Hast du verstanden was Allah awj. dir sagt? Huwa al-Khaliq, al-Malik, al-Ghazaaq. Was habt ihr gelernt? Hadha Shirk-ul-akbar. Damals als RasulAllah صلى الله عليه وسلمsaws unter den Sahabas war. RasulAllah صلى الله عليه وسلمhat seine Hände hochgehoben zum Dua. RasulAllah صلى الله عليه وسلمsagt, dass Dua eine Ibadah ist. Allah swt. spricht: وَقَالَ رَبُّڪُمُ ٱدۡعُونِىٓ أَسۡتَجِبۡ لَكُمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ يَسۡتَكۡبِرُونَ عَنۡ عِبَادَتِى سَيَدۡخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ Und euer Herr sprach: ""Bittet Mich; Ich will eure Bitte erhören.

Hamad ibnu ’Atiq said:
The Aslu'd-Din of all Messengers insists on the implementation/practice of Tawhid, the love for it (Tawhid) and his people and loyalty to them-and the rejection of the shirk, takfir upon his people, as well as the hatred and open display of enmity towards them (ppl of shirk/Mushrikun).

THE FIVE HARAM MARRIAGES.
1.MUT'AH: Is a temporary marriage when a man travels to a place far from his wife, he takes a woman there on agreement of contract to be his wife for a period of time. The woman charges him and after the contract is over they part ways or they renew the contract. It was permissible for the Muslim Soldiers only when they went to war and kept long missing their wives. They take women as Mut'ah to satisfy themselves but later the Prophet told them Allah has prohibited (Haram) Mut'ah.
Ali bin Abi Talib said the Prophet (s.a.w) prohibited Mut'ah with women and the meat of a donkey. Sunan Jami Tirmidhi, 1121.
2.MARRYING A MUSHRIK:“It's Haram to marry your daughters to Al-Mushrikun till they believe in Allah Alone.
They invite you to the Fire, but Allah invites you to Paradise…” Q,2:221.‌
Al-Mushrikun associates partnership with Allah. Examples: The Tijaniya's who call on their Sheihu's, those who call on Jesus, going to Boka Malams, Idol worshippers etc.
3.MARRIAGE TO A FORNICATOR: It's Haram for a chaste believing man to marry a woman who is an Ashawo and it's Haram for a chaste believing woman to marry to a man who is a womanizer.
"These two do not marry anyone except themselves and such marriage is Haram to the chaste believers.” Q,24:3
4.BY FORCE MARRIAGE: Is Haram because the Prophet (s.a.w) said: “Its Haram to arranged marriage of your daughter until her permission has been sought.” Sahih Bukhari, 6968, Sahih Muslim, 1419. Similar to forcing your son to marry a woman he dislikes.
5.GUARDIANSHIP DISAPPROVAL: The Prophet (s.a.w) said: “There is no marriage without a guardian and two witnesses.” Tirmidhi 1101, Abu Dawood, 2085; Ibn Maajah, 1881.
Aa’ishah (r.a) said the Prophet said: Any woman who gets married without the permission of her guardian, her marriage is invalid. Tirmidhi, 1102,Abu Dawood, 2083, Ibn Maajah, 1879.
Sahih Bukhari, 6968, Sahih Muslim, 1419.

O you who believe (in Allah's Oneness and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)! Verily, the Mushrikun (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of God (Allah), and in the Message of Muhammad SAW) are Najasun (impure). So let them not come near Al-Masjid-al-Haram (at Makkah) after this year, and if you fear poverty, God (Allah) will enrich you if He will, out of His Bounty. Surely, God (Allah) is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

So I was reading the ayah about how muslim women cannot marry non Muslims in Surah Baqarah (ayah 221) and I found something so interesting . I feel like this concept in our religion is always talked about with muslims and nonmuslims. “If a guy can marry a nonmuslim, then why can’t a girl?” But Subhanallah, there is something beautiful to grasp from the verse. The verse starts off by saying that a believing person is better than a mushrik/mushrikah. Then Allah says do not marry your daughters off to the mushrikun. Allah literally legislates that US WOMEN should ONLY get what is best. I never looked at it like that. People are out here fussing about what Allah has ordained and because of Allah’s love and wisdom He legislated that we should ONLY marry the better of the 2 men Subhanallah. And Allah knows best.

okay so im not totally done yet but the section of in the shadow of the sword that covers the actual lifetime of muhammad is pretty short. the big stuff, in no particular order:
muhammad defo existed, but the details of his life are probably mostly fabricated
at least by the end of the 8th century, the quran was a mostly consistent document, and shifts since then are mostly reorderings and deletions (as opposed to the hadiths, which are probably mostly fabricated)
mecca cant have been a major trading center, because like, nobody, even people nearby, talked about it at all. like, its just totally not in the record until way after the death of muhammad
in the period right before muhammad, the romans hired a whole bunch of arabs, and kept records of which tribe they were in, and the quraysh arent mentioned anywhere, so something weird going on there. authors pet theory is that it comes from a syriac word meaning union, and it was basically a thamud type thing
given that the quraysh are explicitly stated as owning land in syria, and a bunch of other stuff (like, locations mentioned in the quran are extremely sparse, and the ones that are mentioned that we know what its referring to are farther north, etc) it doesnt make sense for muhammad to have done his whole thing in mecca, he simply must have been farther north, somewhere in that like, saudi arabia, jordan, iraq syria general border area
wherever muhammad came from, it probably wasnt totally pagan, but instead largely christian, with jewish influences (we know there were a bunch of christian (or christian-adjcanet) arabs, who converted because the romans liked it and then spread it around), also the local people muhammad complains abt in the quran (the mushrikun) are pretty clearly other monotheists and not pagans
uhh thats about it

SHIRK IN SPORTS NOT RELATED TO JUDGEMENT
✔ At the Olympic games opening ceremony an oath is made to abide and respect prescribed laws.
✔ Until 1984, the oath takers swore upon their nation's flag. Since then, they take the oath holding the Olympic Flag.
✔ At the football and other sports games players are standing firm with submission to their national anthem and flag.
✔ Athletes at school and national games are making oaths to abide the laws and respect flags and anthems.
If we would investigate deeply, we could see all kinds of Shirk and Kufr at these events and is it something strange? It is organized and planned by Mushrikun, Kufar, so what do you expect? Living in the lands of Kufr doesn't provide you safe and sound enviroment. If we are living amongst Kufar it doesn't mean that we should follow their Kufr and engage in their activities and ceremonies.
Jahmi Mushrikun and Munafiqun don't like these subjects while laughing at it with amazement and disgust. These reminders are for Muslimun, so we don't care what will some Mohammed Hijab, or a similar clown say about it.

🟠Let us ponder upon the saying of Allah —glorified and exalted be He—:
“And whoever holds firmly to Allah, (i.e. practically follows Islam—Allah’s Religion, and obeys all that Allah has ordered), then he is indeed guided to a Right Path. [3:101].
A tremendous verse [it is]! “And whoever holds firmly to Allah”, i.e. entrusts his affair to Allah —glorified and exalted be He—, holds firm to His legislations, and embraces his religion, then [about him] Allah [has] said: “Then he is indeed guided to a Right Path”.
This guidance is the guidance of Tawfeeq (success), which is from Allah —glorified and exalted be He, alone He is, without any partners—, and from the great favors Allah confers upon a person is [the favor of] guidance, and therefore Allah —glorified and exalted be He— addressed His Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم [and said]: “Say (O Muhammad): "Truly, my Lord has guided me to a Straight Path, a right religion, the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham), Hanifa [i.e. the true Islamic Monotheism—to believe in One God (Allah i.e. to worship none but Allah, Alone)] and he was not of Al-Mushrikun ". Tafsir Ibn Kathir: Surah Al-Baqarah Ayah 114
In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
114. And who are more unjust than those who forbid that Allah's Name be mentioned (i.e. prayers and invocations) in Allah's Masjids and strive for their ruin! It was not fitting that such should themselves enter them (Allah's Masjids) except in fear. For them there is disgrace in this world, and they will have a great torment in the Hereafter.
Of the Most Unjust are Those Who prevent People from the Masjids and strive for their Ruin
The Quraysh idolators are those who hindered the people from the Masjids of Allah and wanted to destroy them.
So Allah said;
And who are more unjust than those who forbid that Allah's Name be mentioned (i.e. prayers and invocations) in Allah's Masjids and strive for their ruin, Ibn Jarir reported that Ibn Zayd said that; Allah's statement, is about the Quraysh idolators who prevented the Prophet from entering Makkah from Al-Hudaybiyyah, until he slaughtered the Hadi (animal for sacrifice) at Dhi-Tuwa. He then agreed to a peace treaty with the idolators and said to them, (No one before has ever prevented people from entering the House. One would even see the killer of his father and brother, but would not prevent him (from entering the House of Allah). They said, "Whoever killed our fathers at Badr, shall never enter it while there is one of us alive.''
Allah's statement, (and strive for their ruin) means, those who prevent whoever maintain the Masjids with Allah's remembrance and who visit Allah's House to perform Hajj and Umrah.
Ibn Abi Hatim recorded that Ibn Abbas said that; the Quraysh prevented the Prophet from praying at the Ka`bah in Al-Masjid Al-Haram, so Allah revealed, (And who are more unjust than those who forbid that Allah's Name be mentioned (i.e. prayers and invocations) in Allah's Masjids).''
After Allah chastised the Jews and Christians, He also criticized the idolators who expelled the Messenger of Allah and his Companions from Makkah, preventing them from praying in Al-Masjid Al-Haram, which they kept exclusively for their idols and polytheism.
Allah said,
And why should not Allah punish them while they hinder (men) from Al-Masjid Al-Haram, and they are not its guardians! None can be its guardians except Al-Muttaqun (the pious), but most of them know not. (8:34)
It is not for the Mushrikin (polytheists), to maintain the Masjids of Allah while they witness against their own selves of disbelief. The works of such are in vain and in Fire shall they abide.
The Masjids of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; perform the Salah, and give the Zakah and fear none but Allah. It is they who are on true guidance. (9:17-18)
and,
They are the ones who disbelieved and hindered you from Al-Masjid-Al-Haram (at Makkah) and detained the sacrificial animals, from reaching their place of sacrifice. Had there not been believing men and believing women whom you did not know, that you may kill them and on whose account a sin would have been committed by you without (your) knowledge, that Allah might bring into His mercy whom He wills _ if they (the believers and the disbelievers) had been apart, We verily, would have punished those of them who disbelieved with painful torment. (48:25)
Therefore, Allah said here,
The Masjids of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; perform the Salah, and give the Zakah and fear none but Allah. (9:18)
Therefore, if those believers who follow the virtues mentioned in the Ayah were prevented from attending the Masjid, then what cause for destruction is worse than this Maintaining the Masjids not only means beautifying them, but it involves remembering Allah, establishing His Shariah in the Masjids and purifying them from the filth of Shirk.
The Good News that Islam shall prevail
Allah said next,
It was not fitting that such should themselves enter them (Allah's Masjids) except in fear.
This Ayah means, "Do not allow them – the disbelievers - to enter the Masjids, except to satisfy the terms of an armistice or a treaty.''
When the Messenger of Allah conquered Makkah in, he commanded that someone announce at Mina,
"After the current year, no idolators shall perform Hajj, and no naked persons shall perform Tawaf around the House, except for those who have a treaty. In this case, the treaty will be carried to the end of its term.''
This Ayah supports the Ayah,
O you who believe! (in Allah's Oneness and in His Messenger Muhammad)! Verily, the Mushrikun (idolators) are Najasun (impure). So let them not come near Al-Masjid-Al-Haram (at Makkah) after this year. (9:28)
It was also said that;
this Ayah (2:114) carries the good news for the Muslims from Allah that He will allow them to take over Al-Masjid Al-Haram and all the Masjids and disgrace the idolators. Soon after, the Ayah indicated, no idolator shall enter the House, except out of fear of being seized or killed, unless he embraces Islam. Allah fulfilled this promise and later decreed that idolators not be allowed to enter Al-Masjid Al-Haram.
The Messenger of Allah stated that no two religions should remain in the Arabian Peninsula, and the Jews and Christians should be expelled from it, all praise is due to Allah.
All of these rulings ensure maintaining the honor of Al-Masjid Al-Haram and purifying the area where Allah sent His Messenger to warn and bring good news to all of mankind, may Allah's peace and blessings be on him.
This Ayah also described the disgrace that the disbelievers earn in this life, and that the punishment comes in a form comparable to the deed. Just as they prevented the believers from entering Al-Masjid Al-Haram, they were prevented from entering it in turn.
Just as they expelled the believers from Makkah, they were in turn expelled from Makkah, For them there is disgrace in this world, and they will have a great torment in the Hereafter.
because they breached the sanctity of the House and brought filth to it by erecting idols all around it, invoking other than Allah and performing Tawaf around it while naked, etc.
Here it is worth mentioning the Hadith about seeking refuge from disgrace in this life and the torment of the Hereafter.
Imam Ahmad recorded that Busr bin Artah said that the Messenger of Allah used to supplicate, O Allah! Make our end better in all affairs, and save us from disgrace in this life and the torment of the Hereafter.
This Hadith is Hasan.

Via Youtube: Tawheed on 7th Sep, 2020 68- Forbidding the earth to eat the prophets' corpses is specifically for the prophets, not for all righteous people [Noor ala alDarb, Shaikh ibn Baz, Vol: 2] Language: English Q: Our Muslim brother from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Amman, and who works in the Education Department says in his question: "It is known that Allah (Exalted be He) has forbidden the earth to eat the corpses of the prophets and martyrs. Do the corpses of the righteous persons enjoy the same special treatment? Who are the righteous people according to the Islamic standards and in the sight of Allah (Glorified be He)? Is Allah's unsheathed sword, Khalid Ibn Al-Walid regarded as one of the righteous persons? Is it forbidden for the earth to decay his corpse though he did not die as a martyr, but he was more valuable than martyrs? Also, Allah (Exalted be He) says in the Noble Qur`an after one seeks refuge with Allah against the Accursed Satan: And who turns away from the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) (i.e. Islamic Monotheism) except him who befools himself? Truly, We chose him in this world and verily, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous. In another Ayah (Qur'anic verse) of the Noble Qur'an, Allah (Glorified be He) says: (Verily, Ibrahim (Abraham) was an Ummah (a leader having all the good righteous qualities), or a nation, obedient to Allah, Hanif (i.e. to worship none but Allah), and he was not one of those who were Al- Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, and those who joined partners with Allah). (He was) thankful for His (Allah's) Favours. He (Allah) chose him (as an intimate friend) and guided him to a Straight Path (Islamic Monotheism - neither Judaism nor Christianity). And We gave him good in this world, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the righteous.} Then, We have sent the revelation to you (O Muhammad ﷺ ): "Follow the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) Hanif (Islamic Monotheism - to worship none but Allah) and he was not of the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters and disbelievers). Allah is Most Truthful. Allah (Glorified be He) mentions in those two Ayahs that Ibrahim (ﷺ) was of the righteous; was Ibrahim (ﷺ) a prophet as we all know or a righteous person as mentioned in the Noble Qur'an? I would be grateful if you could explain this point. May Allah reward you best for what you do for all Muslims! A: It was authentically reported that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said: Allah has forbidden the earth to decay the corpses of the prophets. As for the righteous martyrs, nothing was reported that the earth has been forbidden to decay their corpses. The Hadith mentioned above mentions the prophets only. There is no doubt that all Sahabah (Companions of the Prophet) were righteous. Accordingly, Khalid ibn Al-Walid (may Allah be pleased with him) was one of the righteous persons. Similarly, all the prophets and messengers were righteous. Even though they were prophets, describing them as righteous is considered a general description. The word "righteous" is used to describe prophets, messengers and all believing servants who adhere to Allah's religion and observe the rights of Allah and His servants. They can all be described as righteous people. As such, Allah (Glorified be He) describes Ibrahim as one of the righteous as he used to observe the rights of Allah and His servants. Thus, Allah (Exalted be He) says: And who turns away from the religion of Ibrahim (Abraham) (i.e. Islamic Monotheism) except him who befools himself? Truly, We chose him in this world and verily, in the Hereafter he will be among the righteous.. Ibrahim was one of those whom Allah (Exalted be He) chose for His Missions. He was taken by Allah as Khalil (beloved, close elect). He was the best and the most perfect of all the prophets after our Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) as our Prophet is the master of the children of Adam. Ibrahim was the second in preference with Allah (Exalted be He). Ibrahim and Muhammad were the two Khalils of Allah. It is a fact that Ibrahim was Muhammad's grandfather and Muhammad ﷺ ), and the martyrs, the righteous become an independent category, as in Allah's saying: And whoso obey Allah and the Messenger (Muhammad ﷺ ) and His servants. Someone is described as righteous when they observe the rights of Allah by doing what is enjoined and avoiding what is forbidden as well as the rights of people by not wronging them and observing their rights such as the right of neighborhood, the right of a believer towards another believer, the right of parents, the right of maintaining ties of kinship, and so on ............. ........... There is no doubt that he is of the righteous. Moreover, he is better than many of the martyrs.
Be careful of your Creed my dear Muslim brother and sister.
Shaykhul-Islaam ibnu Taymiyya, may Allaah have mercy on him:
"Certainly, seeking forgiveness for the disbelievers is impermissible as per the Book(Al-Qur'aan), the Sunnah and Scholarly Consensus"
Ibnul Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy on him:
The disbeliever, it's not permissible to pray for him or to supplicate for mercy and forgiveness for him. Whoever supplicates for mercy and forgiveness for a disbeliever, has by this gotten out from the part of the believers because Allaah The Most High says:
" It is not (proper) for the Prophet and those who believe to ask Allaah's Forgiveness for the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allaah) even though they be of kin, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the Fire (because they died in a state of disbelief)."
Tawbah :113.
Thus, anyone who seeks mercy upon the disbeliever or forgiveness for him, should repent to Allaah, because he has by this issue, gotten out from the part of the Prophetﷺ and the believers. He should repent to his Lord and go back to(seeking) His guidance.
For the disbeliever, no matter how you supplicate for him, Allaah will never forgive him, no matter what he has done from goodness even If by chance, the disbeliever restores the paths, maintains the bonds(of people) and benefits the Muslims, his deed is still unacceptable due to the statement of Allaah:
"And We shall turn to whatever deeds they (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, etc.) did, and We shall make such deeds as scattered floating particles of dust." Al Furqaan:23.

The Superiority of Istighfar
(الاِسْتِغْفَارُ) is the verbal noun from [اِسْتَغْفَرَ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُ ] to seek Allah’s forgiveness. The word [الغُفُرُ ] means to cover and conceal.
The words, [الغَفُورُ وَالغَفَّارُ وَالغَافِرُ] are all names of Allah and mean the covering of the servants sins and the pardoning him of his errors.
Shaykh Zayd Al-Madkhali said: These three names mean that Allah is vast in virtue and Very Generous in Forgiveness towards repenters, as long as they don’t continue to sin.
These three names all mean the same thing according to the scholars of Tafsir. Allah conceals the sins of the servants who repent, feel remorseful and request His pardon and His forgiveness. [1]
The reality of Istighfar
No human-being is sin free, no of us are infallible, so it’s man’s nature to sin. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Every son of Adam commits sin, and the best of those who commit sin are those who repent.’”[2]
Allah is delighted when we sin and then seeks his forgiveness. This is part of His Mercy. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “By the One in Whose Hand my soul is, were you not to commit sins, Allah would replace you with a people who would commit sins and then seek forgiveness from Allah; and Allah would forgive them”.[3]
Its worth mentioning here that Istighfar isn’t only done on the tongue which has no impact on the Heart and body. Al-Fudayl ibn Iyyad said: “Seeking Allah’s forgiveness without abandoning the sin is the repentance of liar.”
So seeking forgiveness from Allah also requires us to leave off the sins.
Istighfar is for the Believers.
Allah said: It is not (proper) for the Prophet and those who believe to ask Allah’s Forgiveness for the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) even though they be of kin, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the Fire (because they died in a state of disbelief).[At-Taubah:113]
Allah’s Messenger, (ﷺ) said:
I asked permission to seek forgiveness for my mother from Allah, but He did not grant it to me. I asked permission from Him to visit her grave, and He granted it (permission) to me.”[4]
Allah said: Whether you (O Muhammad ) ask forgiveness for them (hypocrites) or ask not forgiveness for them … (and even) if you ask seventy times for their forgiveness … Allah will not forgive them, because they have disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad ). And Allah guides not those people who are Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).[At-Taubah:80]
These two verses and hadith prove that forgiveness isn’t sought on behalf of the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Istighfar is a special trait that Allah has only favored the Muslims with.
An abandoned Sunnah for Istighfar
The Prophet used to wipe the head of the children and ask Allah to forgiven them. Abu Iyas said, “ My father took me to the Prophet [ﷺ] when I was a young child and the He [ﷺ] wiped my head and asked Allah to forgive me.”[5]
The Wordings used for Istighfar
Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar :
We counted that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would say a hundred times during a meeting: “My Lord, forgive me and pardon me; You are the Pardoning and the Forgiving One”.[6]
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If anyone says: “I ask pardon of Allah ,with Whom there is no deity, the Living, the eternal, and I turn to Him in repentance,” he will be pardoned, even if he has fled in time of battle.[7]
Narrated Abu Huraira:
I heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) saying.” By Allah! I ask for forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day.[8]
(O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You have created me and I am Your slave and I am keeping my promise and covenant to You as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I do. I acknowledge Your blessing and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for there is none who can forgive sin except You.)’ If he says this in the morning, believing in it firmly, and dies on that day before evening comes, he will enter Paradise, and if he says it in the evening, believing firmly in it, and dies before morning comes, he will enter Paradise.”[9]
Um Raf’I when you stand for prayer say, “ Subhanallah 10 times, la illah ilallah 10 times, Al-Hamdulilah 10 times, Allahu Akbar 10 times then say As-staghfurallah 10 times. When you say subhanallah 10 times Allah says this is for me and when you la illah ilallah 10 times Allah says this is for me, and when you say Al-Hamdulilah 10 times Allah says this is for me and when you say Allahu akbar Allah says this is form and when we seek forgiveness after saying those words He says, “ I have forgiven you.”[10]
The times of the day to perform Istighfar
After completing worship
Allah said: Then depart from the place whence all the people depart and ask Allah for His Forgiveness. Truly, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful.[Al-Baqarah:199]
Although this verse was revealed for Hajj, it applies to completing the prayer and other acts of worship that we fall short in performance.
The last hours of the night
Allah said :(They are) those who are patient ones, those who are true (in Faith, words, and deeds), and obedient with sincere devotion in worship to Allah. Those who spend [give the Zakat and alms in the Way of Allah] and those who pray and beg Allah’s Pardon in the last hours of the night.[11]
After completing a class or gathering
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever sits in a sitting and engages in alot of empty and meaningless speech and then says before getting up from that sitting of his: [‘Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except You, I seek You forgiveness, and I repent to You,] then whatever occurred in that sitting would be forgiven from him.”[12]
Also there is other narration when the prophet [ﷺ] said these words after completing Wudu and reading the Quran.[13]
After burying a Muslim
After the burial of a dead man, the Prophet (ﷺ) would stand by the grave and say, “Ask Allah to forgive your brother and supplicate for him be steadfast ,because he is being questioned (about his deeds) now.”[14]
Seeking Istighfar is the way of the Angels and the Prophets.
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “The angels supplicate in favour of one of you ,so long as he remains in the place where he has performed Salat (prayer) in a state of Wudu’. They (the angels) say: ‘O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! Have mercy on him.”‘[15]
Adam
Allah said: They said: “Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.”[ Al-‘Araf: 23]
Nuh
Allah said: Nuh (Noah) said: “O my Lord! I seek refuge with You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have Mercy on me, I would indeed be one of the losers.”[ Hud :47]
Ibrahim
Allah said: “And Who, I hope will forgive me my faults on the Day of Recompense, (the Day of Resurrection),”[Ash-Shu’ara: 82]
Dawud
Allah said: And Dawud (David) guessed that We have tried him and he sought Forgiveness of his Lord, and he fell down prostrate and turned (to Allah) in repentance.[ Saad: 24]
Sulayman
Allah said: He said: “My Lord! Forgive me, and bestow upon me a kingdom such as shall not belong to any other after me: Verily, You are the Bestower.”[Saad:35]
Musa
Allah said: He said: “My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me.” Then He forgave him. Verily, He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.[Al-Qasas:16]
The benefits of Istighfar
It’s a command from Allah:
Allah said: So be patient (O Muhammad ). Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and ask forgiveness for your fault, and glorify the praises of your Lord in the Ashi (i.e. the time period after the midnoon till sunset) and in the Ibkar (i.e. the time period from early morning or sunrise till before midnoon) [it is said that, that means the five compulsory congregational Salat (prayers) or the ‘Asr and Fajr prayers].[Ghafir: 55]
It’s a means to increase your provision:
Allah said: I said (to them): ‘Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving;11. ‘He will send rain to you in abundance;12. ‘And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.’ “[Nuh 10-12]
It’s help one enter Jannah
Refer to the hadith known as “ Sayyidul Istighfar”
It removes sins
Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, “Allah, the Exalted, has said: ‘O son of Adam! I shall go on forgiving you so long as you pray to Me and aspire for My forgiveness whatever may be your sins. O son of Adam! I do not care even if your sins were reach up to the sky and should you beg pardon of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam! If you come to Me with an earthful of sins and meet Me, without associating anything with Me in worship, I will certainly grant you as much pardon that could fill the earth.”‘[16]
It Repels harm and calamity
Allah said: And Allah would not punish them while you (Muhammad ) are amongst them, nor will He punish them while they seek (Allah’s) Forgiveness.[Al-Anfal:33]
It raises your level in Jannah
The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: “A man will be raised in status in Paradise and will say: ‘Where did this come from?’ And it will be said:’From your son’s praying for forgiveness for you.'”[17]
It cleans the heart
The Messenger of Allah said: “Verily, when the slave (of Allah) commits a sin, a black spot appears on his heart. When he refrains from it, seeks forgiveness and repents, his heart is polished clean. But if he returns, it increases until it covers his entire heart. And that is the ‘Ran’ which Allah mentioned: ‘Nay, but on their hearts is the Ran which they used to earn.’”[18]
The Spiritual Development of Istighfar
It makes the Dunya insignificant in the heart of the servant
Distances the devil from you
Attain Allah’s love
Taste the sweetness of faith and obedience.
Increases intellect and faith
Draws the slave closer to Allah.
Removes stress and worry.
Makes worshipping Allah easier.
Helps to purify your soul and your community from bad deeds.[19]

Takfir of Mushrikun is from aslud din and Tawhed is not valid without it.
Shaykh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahab  رحمه الله said:
"Second obligation:” Whoever made disbelief of everything what is worshiped besides Allah”, what is intended with that is takfir of Mushrikun, rejection of them and what they worship besides Allah. Whoever does not make Takfīr upon the Mushrikīn of the Turkish State (ad-Dawlah at-Turkiyyah) and the grave worshippers such as the people of Makkah and others who worship the righteous and who've deviated from the Tawḥīd of Allāh to ash-Shirk and who've exchanged the Sunnah of His Messenger ﷺ for innovations, then he is a disbeliever like them, even if he hates their religion and hates them and loves Islam and the Muslims."

Riyad as-Salihin, The Book of the Prohibited actions, Book 18, Hadith 1546
Sumurah bin Jundub (May Allah be pleased with him) said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) very often used to ask his Companions, "Do any one of you has seen a dream?" So dreams would be narrated to him by those whom Allah willed to relate. One day he (ﷺ) said, "Last night I had a vision in which two men (angels) came to me and woke me up and said to me, 'Proceed!' I set out with them and we came across a man lying down, and behold, another man was standing over his head, holding a big rock. Behold, he was throwing the rock at the man's head, smashing it. When he struck him, the stone rolled away and he went after it to get it, and no sooner had he returned to this man, his head was healed and restored to its former condition. The thrower (of the rock) then did the same as he had done before. I said to my two companions, 'Subhan-Allah! Who are these?' They said: 'Proceed, proceed.' So we proceeded and came to a man lying in a prone position and another man standing over his head with an iron hook, and behold, he would put the hook in one side of the man's mouth and tear off that side of his face to the back (of the neck), and similarly tear his nose from front to back, and his eyes from front to back. Then he turned to the other side of the man's face and did just as he has done with the first side. He had hardly completed that (second) side when the first returned to its normal state. I said to my two companions, 'Subhan-Allah! Who are these?' They said, 'Proceed, proceed.' So we proceeded and came across something like a Tannur (a kind of baking oven, a pit usually clay-lined for baking bread)." I (the narrator) think the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "In that oven there was much noise and voices." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "We looked into it and found naked men and women, and behold, a flame of fire was reaching to them from underneath, and when it reached them they cried loudly. I asked, 'Who are these?' They said to me, 'Proceed, proceed.' And so we proceeded and came across a river." I (the narrator) think he said, "-- red like blood." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "And behold, in the river there was a man swimming, and on the bank there was a man who had collected many stones.
Behold, while the other man was swimming, he went near him. The former opened his mouth and the latter (on the bank) threw a stone into his mouth whereupon he went swimming again. Then again he (the former) returned to him (the latter), and every time the former returned, he opened his mouth, and the latter threw a stone into his mouth, (and so on) the performance was repeated. I asked my two companions, 'Who are these?' They replied, 'Proceed, proceed.' And we proceeded till we came to a man with a repulsive appearance, the most repulsive appearance you ever saw a man having! Beside him there was a fire, and he was kindling it and running around it. I asked my two companions, 'Who is this (man).' They said to me, 'Proceed, proceed!' So we proceeded till we reached a garden of deep green dense vegetation, having all sorts of spring colours. In the midst of the garden there was a very tall man, and I could hardly see his head because of his great height, and around him there were children in such a large number as I have never seen! I said to my two companions, 'Who is this?' They replied, 'Proceed, proceed.' So we proceeded till we came to a majestic, huge garden, greater and better than any garden I have ever seen! My two companions said to me, 'Ascend up' and I ascended up." The Prophet (ﷺ) added, "So we ascended till we reached a city built of gold and silver bricks, and we went to its gate and asked (the gatekeeper) to open the gate, and it was opened; and we entered the city and found in it men with one side of their bodies as handsome as the most handsome person you have ever seen, and the other side as ugly as the ugliest person you have ever seen! My two companions ordered those men to throw themselves into the river. Behold, there was a river flowing across (the city), and its water was like milk in whiteness. Those men went and threw themselves in it and then returned to us after the ugliness (of their bodies) had disappeared, and they came in the best shape." The Prophet (ﷺ) further added, "My two companions said to me: 'This place is the 'Adn Jannah, and that is your place.' I raised up my sight, and behold, there I saw a palace like a white cloud! My two companions said to me, 'That palace is your place,' I said to them, 'May Allah bless you both! Let me enter it.' They replied, 'As for now, you will not enter it, but you shall enter it (one day).
I said to them, 'I have seen many wonders tonight. What does all that mean which I have seen?' They replied, 'We will inform you: As for the first man you came upon, whose head was being smashed with the rock, he is the symbol of the one who studies the Qur'an and then neither recites it nor acts on its orders, and sleeps, neglecting the enjoined prayers. As for the man you came upon, whose sides of mouth, nostrils and eyes were torn off from front to back, he is the symbol of the man who goes out of his house in the morning and tells lies that are spread all over the world. And those naked men and women whom you saw in a construction resembling an oven, they are the adulterers and the adulteresses. And the man who was given a stone to swallow is the eater of Ar-Riba (usury), and the bad-looking man whom you saw near the fire, kindling it and going around it, is Malik, the gatekeeper of Hell, and the tall man you saw in the garden is (Prophet) Abraham, and the children around him are those who died upon Al-Fitrah (the Islamic Faith of Monotheism)."' The narrator added: Some Muslims asked the Prophet (ﷺ) , "O Messenger of Allah! What about the children of Al- Mushrikun (i.e., polytheists, pagans, idolaters, and disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger Muhammad (ﷺ))?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "And also the children of Al-Mushrikun." The Prophet (ﷺ) added: "My two companions added, 'The men you saw half handsome and half ugly were these people who had mixed an act that was good with another that was bad, but Allah forgave them'."
Another narration of Al-Bukhari is: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "One night two men came to me and took me to a blessed land." (The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) told of the same incident as above) and said, "After a while of walking we came upon a pit like an oven, narrow at the top and wide at the bottom with fire raging in it. When the flames rose up (the people in it) also rose up till they were about to come out; and when the fire subsided they, too, would go down with it. In it were naked men and women." (The remainder of the Hadith is the same as the above Hadith except that at the end of it, the Messenger of Allah said: "We came upon a river of blood in the middle of which there was a man standing, and at the bank of the river there was a man with plenty of stones before him..." In this narration we also find: "They made me climb the tree and they made me enter an abode so beautiful the like of which I have never seen before. There (I saw) old men and youth." In this narration we also find: "'The first house you entered was the abode of the believers in general, and the other house was the abode of the martyrs. I am Jibril (Gabriel), and this is Mika'il. Raise your head.' I looked up and saw something like clouds. They said to me, 'That is your abode.' I said, 'Shall I enter it?' They said, 'You have not completed your term of life yet. When you do, you will certainly enter it."'
