With the implication arioch wanted into the village in 1.3 but was just waiting for the right time to get in i like to think leonard just swatted her with a broom until she backed off and sulked back into the woods all the previous times she tried snagging a kid or something and this went on enough times she's like "i'll just wait until he doesn't have the broom 😊"

HADESTOWN SENTENCE STARTERS - PT II

A new extra difficult competitive game: hard to learn, hard to play-but relatively easy to hack to be phone playable. It was fundamentally the same as many other 1v1 video games, but with harder combos to land and a ranking system that was based on the players abilities, not their winrate. The only problem was… it was a 2 v 2 game. And of course, all of the other Stellaron Hunters were “too busy” to play with her.

Boring…

So she went to what she could only think of as the next best option. People on the Astral Express had to be at least decent at video games, right? Hacking onto the express was simple enough, she did it fairly often, and they never really got around to blocking that back door entrance. And she did end up finding a game partner.

But this game was truly a testament to having good teamwork. A loss. A loss? She refused to have any sort of losing streak. So, of course-

“Of course we’re going to try again. And there’s no way we’re not going to win.” Maybe it was too hard now that it was on the phone. Surely they could figure it out.

the thing about rio is that she's not the trope of like a "super sensitive person stuck in a violent job but they want to escape". she's complex, sure, and there's layers to her that's more than just lady death, there's sensitivities there, but... she's not a hero by any means. she's also not an anti hero at all. she isn't going to help superhero types unless something's in it for her.

i mean, sure, the job isn't always fun. she hates ghosts and the concept of being part of someone's unfinished business isn't appealing. it gets in the way sometimes and seeing traumatizing things day and in and day out can get tiring sometimes. obviously she has a heart under all of that. she falls in love, she comes to trust people. she wants to be held gently and kissed and treated like she's a person. there are very few people who have ever gotten that close to her. very few who have seen that side of her.

but, on the flip side of it... she's a little evil. she's definitely crazy. but that's the fun part. rio may not kill people that often, but it sure is fun to watch!
