My first project completed during The 100 Days Project! I saw this comment in a "vaguely threatening corporate speak" video and couldn't get ot out of my mind. I had to chart it out immediately.

I've decided that (other than this 😅🤞) I'm going to work on WIP from my 100 Days. Hopefully I can work through what I have laying around to make room for other new projects!

I will continue stitching colour wheels until I am stopped. Blackwork embroidery on 14-count Aida.

This one uses just seven thread colours (six for the fills, plus white for outlines). Each section has a 3-part gradient on a bit of a curve, which was a bit different to design, but no harder to stitch than my earlier 2-part gradients.

I've been wanting to do a Night in the Woods cross stitch since I first played the game, and after a lot of designing I came up with this. The idea is based on the two soundtrack album covers. I couldn't be more pleased with the results! [Pattern!]

Me: Clearly the only logical course of action is to create an embroidery pattern of Master Chief by hand on graph paper, cut up an old curtain, and use modified cross-stitch through two layers of fabric to put John Halo Himself on my otherwise crappy pair of jeans.

Here's some fan art that's a little different than what I usually post – I make a lot of my own cross stitch designs/patterns, and even sell them on Etsy for a lil extra pocket change!

So! I decided to start a series of designs inspired by the companions of Baldur's Gate 3. This first one is, of course, inspired by everyone's favorite vampiric elf! The blood, teeth, daggers, bats, star, and scar motifs all came together to create something uniquely ~Astarion~

This has been running around my mind rent free since I saw THIS POST. I wanted something with "fancy"' font and a light, pretty border. I was originally thinking flowers, but this was nice, and easy to plot out and stitch. I may go back and do flowers as well, once I decide what ones would work best.

Since the font is super small, and I'm not sure how much tumblr is going to eat the file, here's the DMC colors: DMC 3747 - Very Light Blue Violet DMC 828 - Ultra Very Light Sky Blue DMC 966 - Medium Baby Green DMC 151 - Very Light Dusty Rose DMC 825 - Dark Blue

I made this with Stitch Fiddle. It's great, much faster that plotting by hand. I'm still figuring out how everything works, but I like it so far.

How many times can I stitch variations on colour wheels? At least a few more, anyway.

This is the second piece I've done that blends contrasting colours in blackwork, and I'm learning to trust the process. In both cases, it looked horribly messy while I was stitching, but then when it was finished and I could step back to look at it, I could finally see the gradient effect I was going for.

Toothless from HTTYD. The runes at the top are meant to say toothless, taken from text in the first movie. Fun fact this was a christmas gift for my dad and a couple hours before giving it to him I realized I had misspelled the runes, and i had to go back and fix it after I had finished the back. It was a struggle :’). Pattern is by me and can be found here
