hmm today I will reveal my personal favorite ships in welcome home

if you disagree with me it's fine, just keep in mind not everyone's ships are the same

Wally and Barnaby: the first ever ship I thought of when joining the fandom. My initial thought was that the basic formula of "two best friends" and "size difference" would definitely be a win-win for the fandom, but I was actually quite surprised to see some people who despise this ship, claiming it to be "zoophilic". Needless to say that I haven't heard or seen such argument against the Fluffybird (Red Guy and Duck from DHMIS) ship, but oh well. Anyways, I just think they're very neat and could definitely be classified as a "best childhood friend who have a little something going on" dynamic. And! While I mostly see these two as mutual pining partners, I can totally view them as a simple platonic "two guys being besties and having fun"! Also I don't know if any Welcome Home ships have names, but I saw someone call this pairing Wallaby and I think I'll go with that :)

Frank and Julie: now, listen to me on this one please. I know perfectly well Frank and Eddie are a canon couple, and I'm down with that! It's just that I'm a sucker for a more platonic-romantic kind of pairing between best friends. They just seem so funky together and have the good ol' "opposites attracts" dynamic with them. Again, same case as Wallaby, I ship these two romantically, but cool with them just being pals. There isn't enough male and female friendship representation in media, and I personally believe that Frank and Julie are a good example of such. My heart just simply melts whenever a Frank/Julie art appears on my feed, it's so wholesome and soft..

Howdy and Poppy: ... okay. I don't really have enough evidence to backup this one but uh. My brain just went and created this pairing in my head and I absolutely love it. JUST GENERALLY SPEAKING both of them have a parental vibe, and the contrast between a huge green guy with multiple limbs and a giant bird with mostly red feathers is just.. pleasing for my eyes (complementary colors! complementary colors!). While the fandom widely agrees that Poppy is a "worried mom friend of the group", I haven't seen anyone say that Howdy is much of an "outgoing dad friend of the group". Personality wise they'd make a pleasant dynamic and with how both of them basically take care of others in their own ways could be played out too. Oh I can for sure answer that. The last fandom I was a part of was a sci-fi based furry server I had been a part of for years. I treated everyone there like family, my art improved because of them and I looked up to the owner of the server like a second parent an I regret it to this day. However the owner of the discord server allowed children to run her server an be in an area that was 13 an up when it should have been 18 an up. I was openly stalked an harassed by a dam 15 year old for 2 years an I had screenshots worth of evidence and the mods did nothing- The server was severely toxic and I had called out it's issues twice to where I was banned not once but three FUCKING TIMES! Do you understand that they made me to be the bad guy because I refused to keep my mouth shut. She let mods abuse their power an did nothing, she hired random strangers with no mod application to be admins even though there were users who had been there since the servers opening an were never chosen it was all favoritism from the start. One of those bans was for an entire year an they didn't even let me back in after a month when they promised to let me rejoin. I was forgotten... I was a pest. A RAT to them. I was on a list of troublemakers when I had done nothing but try an keep the server safe, even accidentally co-running it because none of the mods were on until I said something that pissed them off. They didn't defend anyone unless it was their stupid little friend group giving them extra privilege's. DO NOT make it obvious you have favorites I will openly hate you for your entire existence. Keep that shit to yourself an don't enrage your fans. This child made unwanted unconsented ships, lore broke an bypassed multiple rules, had a futa kink, misrepresented lesbians, the trans community multiple times misrepresented people with multiple personality disorders, fact checking, an overall being a dick to everyone. As welll, recentlyy, after Cags on Mobcrit posted an ask with someone saying people should rewrite Mob's FON loree, Blurry came into my DMs threatening su*cide and saying Cagney was attacking him 'cause the people on Mobcrit don't like his workk (He thinks I run Mobcrit when I'm just their archivistt, this has been stated multiple times on the blog itselff) ... He conveniently left this out of his docc:

What prompted that convoo, was that Blurry got mad that Cagney on Mobcrit proposed an idea to rewrite Mob's FON loree... Notice how I said MOB'S and not Blurry'ss, completely missing the meaning of the postt:

I love to roleplay and talk about my hyperfixations. Talking about headcanons is an excellent way for me to connect with others!

I‘m a multishipper with most of my fandoms, but sometimes I'm more set and stone, depending on the fandom.

A warning to anyone who may end up befriending me: I go on rants. Typically, they're happy rants about my hyperfixations. ~~ Roleplay rules ~~

For those who are interested in roleplaying with me, here's some basic stuff to keep in mind.

I do NOT allow:

Mentions of SA, SH, gr*oming, or anything like that. Dead dove stuff is a no-no.

Acting out domestic abuse. Mentions of it is fine, but I will not roleplay it.

Characters randomly getting terminally ill. I lost my dad to cancer, and believe it or not, people have tried forcing it into roleplays before without asking me about it.

Killing off important characters without asking first.

Controlling my character is a no-no. If you need my character to do something for the sake of your reply, please tell me ooc.

I roleplay on Discord, and I do not roleplay with people under the age of 18.

Script roleplay.

Op characters. Strong, yes, op, no.

I DO allow:

Smut/NSFW. The plot can't surround it completely, though.

Double ups.

Gore and violence (to a certain extent)

Angst.

B x B, B x G, G x G, and Poly relationships.

Canon x Canon is preferred. I only do OC roleplays with people I'm close to.

Communication ooc. Talking about plot points, headcanons, and potential scenes is a lot of fun for me!

Expressive roleplay is excellent. Don't be scared to hold back character personalities! If my character says something your character would hate, don't hesitate to have them rebel! I love it when people get super in character during roleplay!

If you want to draw a scene from the roleplay, idm that, too! I may even draw scenes from roleplays!

Don't be shy when talking ooc! I still like to make conversation when I'm too tired to roleplay!

I love creativity and descriptiveness. You don't ALWAYS need to be at 100%, though! Don't feel pressured to write extremely long replies if you're too tired or just don't know what to say.
