I'm really interested to hear about your episode 11/12 CRK rewrite, do you mind explaining the plot? If it's too long to explain or smth, can you at least give some basic plot points/major changes?

[pls rb] It's a bit messy tbh since i never got into the nitty-gritty of the exact play by play events, but i had a lot of thoughts on how i would like to have restructured it / rewritten certain parts. its always bugged me how tonally distant the hb kingdom is from,,,, everything else in the main storyline, especially compared to pv and cacao's plotlines. one of the key things is that i took the mention pitaya burned down the kingdom at one point WAY more seriously than the plot does - as well as them 'taking over' the kingdom. i should note that they aren't nessacarily malicious, moreso trying to bait hollyberry out of hiding to fight them and going about it in the worst way possible. The timeline of cr is so messy and conflicting [esp now with the implication roguefort was very young when their family died in the ob christmas event and they died in my fanon BECAUSE of the pitaya attack but i had other stuff before that that said it was only like 6-7 years ago but. AUGH. WHATEVER]. TLDR the hollyberry kingdom has rebuilt but they're still kinda a mess and slowly losing faith in the royal family and turning to the great houses - leading to a setup similar to the princess contest [i think the 'princess contest' is stupid as hell, like, especially when princess herself shows up for it but it 'must go on'].

TO SUMMARIZE SOME THINGS. For my fanon in general i've kicked gingerbrave and co out of the main plotline - nothing against them, but persoanlly them being shoved into every plotline makes their narratives suffer drastically [at least in my fanon] . i've weighed the thought of either rasp or princess being the main protagonist but like . princess probably makes more sense im just HEAVILY biased towards rasp. Background stuff thats important to the characters -rasp has been staying in the cookie kingdom for a while and becoming dissalussioned with her house and hollyberry kingdom as she spends time away from the suffocating enviorment and begins falling in love with parfait - but cant commit because she can't be in love with a commoner under her house's watch. puts off going home until a carriage shows up asking her to come back to the kigndom for the contest. Is not havign a good time and only gets more and more upset as the plot goes on - batflower [oc of mine] was a heiress, but lost her manor in the pitaya attack. she's a power-obsessed asshole who does Not value people unless they contribute to her amusement or game. Is a literal fucking serial killer! - uhhhh i wanted to do more with tiger lily but the brainrot was never there. i think it would be sillly if part of the reason she went missing was related to hollyberry's dissapearance - i also kicked out the cookies of darkness not because they're irrelevant or completely gone i just liked using batflower and pitaya as the villians wayy more. they might be around but probably serving a more minor role - like how affogato is the main antagonist in chp 13/14 but theyre still around OKAY SO. It runs mostly the same but the one to poison their drinks is - suprise suprise - batflower ! nyx holds a lot of envy towards the remaining heiresses [especially rasp who is trying to walk away from the privlidge she'd been given that batflower so desprately wants back] and she spikes the heiresses' drinks with something similar as to what wizard/strawberry get in the original. And raspberry's already having her emotions run high and is pretty pissy and her and princess do Not Get Along so they start fighting before dueling [11-27 boss fight] - though it gets interupted by batflower showing herself, unfurling her wings and mocking them for falling right into her play. Yadda yadda drama stuff yadda yadda rasp falling even deeper into her want to leave her role because she sees the reflection of what it can do to people in batflower but also. THE GIRLS ARE FIGHTING [batflower replaces the 11-30 boss - it fits nyx well since its in a garden and nyx has plant magic it uses to make its poisons]. Once batflower is beat she retreats. Probably shows up later at minimum as an observer but i havent figured that out. Rest proceeds mostly as normal, with hollyberry showing up having realized how badly she failed her kingdom and what pitaya has done to it as 'ruler', and promptly beats their ass into next week and probably makes them do community service /LH. i wanted to do more to hb's characer arc and i DID mostly but im trying not to get too deep into the psychology of the events [as i often tend to do] and just tell it as it is. i think it would be cute if wildberry was with her [since she took him in while she was in hiding] and when its revealed shes the queen he gets promoted to her personal bodyguard. just thought that though idk a lot of this is loose Rasp at this point is done, goes home, gets in a fight with mousse and leaves the kingdom for good - though that probably wouldnt be featured in the plot. what WOULD be featured is a tiger lily reuinion with her family - i havent thought abt it much but it annoys me to NO FUCKING END that she is completely written off despite being LITERALLY *the missing princess*. And they do nothing with her besides jungleberry offhandedly remarking "oh that might be her,,," like GIRL YOURE NOT GONNA ?? INVESTIGATE ??? i think thats it . i might be forgetting something but whatever.

OUGH this is so good. man. i like to imagine how the guys (vera, owen, etc) would react to like captivity whump, but ofc that cant happen due to their friendship, where they are and their very nature as people

also due to the setting: lots of different murders.... dunks them in acid like fun dip. literally just beats them up with a bat. cuts their arm off (okay this one has happened somewhere tbh). just poisons/drugs them (my favorite lol)

literally there are so many possibilities to fuck with these guys. like looks at that one meowsikbox ask game thats all about injuring/hurting your ocs

✂ Is there a plotline that you'd planned to write but for whatever reason has been abandoned?

one of my first ideas for what suns future was was her becoming a director of her own library (likely in unreality), which gradually became real, but i abandoned it due to it being too unoriginal. however she always had that like. Face she has as an arbiter. she was doomed to become vergilius. sorry girl

and gems og storyline was yui haunting him until he killed himself, but that's basically been like semi changed. yui still haunts him absolutely. but originally she died and he went to be the sole member of the disciplinary dept., and being alone with a ghost thats tormenting you is Not a Good Idea. i abandoned it since i found a plotline i liked better, where yui gets to kill him not one but like 20 times and he also gets to keep the trauma

hmm... ill do the friendcorp guys. maybe vera and sergey. they're different intensities but still similar and friendly. owen and odelie are socially anxious 2000 machine duo and will spend a week in their dorm researching something and texting eachother about it.

gem and neville is obvious they are going to be so devious together and make the most looney toons ass plan youve EVER seen. also bonus. gem and rino are going to fight forever. yui and marx seems good but i feel like theyd be indifferent to eachother and like barely ever talk/yui wouldnt care much for marx's abno stuff. so maybe emma? yui would be chill with her, emmas resonated but yuis corroded so she gets it

theres like a pattern of them getting along with those like them (also demonstrated in bella and ritz' friendship. and then bella and nevilles Not Friendship) but it does work so yeah

So, as far as my art goes, a few of you may have noticed the Omega Ruby au I've posted about a few times, but I guess I've never really explained it in much detail. SO LETS CHANGE THAT!

~ Tams silly little Omega Ruby au ~

The au itself is comprised a bunch of personal headcanons, ocs, and a desire for a slightly darker pokemon game that focus more on, who I deem, the more important characters in the story. Will I ever do anything with this au concept? Maybe? Maybe not. Maybe a webcomic, but I don't exactuly have the best track record, which is why this post now exists.

As far as 'important characters' go, these are the 6 I wanna talk a lil bit about, the 6 that I suppose matter the most in terms of storyline (there should be 7, but the rival character has yet to exist beyond a small in mind concept)

Firstly, Alex. The main protagonist? Character? Focus? Of the story. She is basically the May/Brendan replacement for the plot (though May and Brendan do exist, explanation in a bit). Shes 16 during most of the plot, and comes from Shinno. She got caught up in the team Magma shenanigans and ends up chasing them (which she defo later regrets). She ends up being very close with Archie, after everything that happens with Groudon and Maxie, and, you know, everyone deserves a father figure

Next is Lilo (17 yo), Alexs travelling companion and friend. They don't get so involved with everything happening with team Magma, rather acting as a lifeline for Alex where she nearly dies every other day. They grew up in Hoenn, so help Alex find her way around, whilst chasing their own goals of wanting to be a pokemon ranger and doctor.

Whos this next person, you might ask. That would be May...or at least...and older, adult May. In this au, she completed her journey a few years prior and is now the standing champion of Hoenn. She herself didn't get caught up in the main fray of what happened, though she did have to stop the two teams fighting a few times, even when she was still on her own journey. Steven is her mentor still, and helps her look after the league and Hoenn (The league is a form of authority for the region, so people depend on them alot for support and protection)

Steven Stone, former (ha) champion, though he still plays a large role in the league and Hoenn itself. He focus' alot more on hos research and helps with his father buisness that also plays a large role in the league now as well. (He gets punched at some point)

Now, Archie and Maxie I will through into one explanation, as they kinda link together and...if I talk about them separately I will not shut up. They are the main reason behind my idea for the au tbh, as they play a much larger role in the story overall. Team Magma and Aqua will appear, not only sooner, but more frequently during the overall plot, being more of a nuisance to Hoenn. I wanna explore their relationships more, and show the diwnfalls in not listening to research, and how that can very much corrupt a plan. Obviously, as an Omega Ruby au, Team Magma are the'villians', whilst Aqua is the support, though they will be alot more supportive than the games, actually taking the time to bond with the heros and help them out during the course of the events. I say villians loosely, as, neither team are inherently evil, they have good intentions, but go about it in the wrong way (which we see in the recebt pokemon master update WHICH I LOVED!!)

Annyywayyyyy, I think thats about...the basis of this au. I've been meaning to talk about it for a while, and I guess I just finally got around to drawing these characters and talking about them a little. I will defo try to post more things in the furture about this au, but in the meantime, feel free to ask any questions you might have, and I'll try to answer them!

✨ Spooky Recs✨

I read a lot of fanfictions... More than I am proud of. I thought I should recommend as I go before I lose sight of their existence among the sea of my favorites.

Since past few days I have been craving for some creepy, unnerving fanfics that will keep me restless and awake at night. I remembered my favorites and wanted to read more of the kind so I looked up, patiently going through each story that sounded compelling. I also revisited old stories for nostalgia's sake.

Of course, rare as they are, in Naruto fandom no less, it's even harder to find a horror and mystery fic that is well written, not dropped under 2 chapters, and really keeps your attention.

Characters – If the characters are well-developed, in their given character, if OCs have any real significance to the story.

Plot – How gripping is the storyline, if the story sticks to its original plot, the structure of the story, plot holes.

When one of the greatest medical-nin in the world goes missing in what should have been a simple delivery to the Land of Spring’s Hidden Snow Village, the rest of Team 7 must reunite to find her. But even the most powerful team of shinobi will find themselves challenged in a battle against the supernatural. With Sasuke's return, vengeful ghosts of the past will test him and his love.

My thoughts : One of the best stories I've read in a while, and top tier SS stories. I read this in one sitting. I never listen to music while reading, preferring silence, but for this one, I suggest you do as the author says. Also, keep some tissues and food with you. This story is major in mystery and minor in horror but otherwise full of SS fluff.

Writing: 10/10

Flow: Steady, if a bit confusing (but that's why it's mystery)

“Oh,” says Naruto, “well, its sort of like that. Except in this village, the story has a way more darker ending – it basically goes like this: the girl and the guy plan to run away together. The guy steals a bunch of treasure, and stashes it away. But then, when he goes to get the girl at her village, he kills her and decides to run away with all that money. But then he is killed by the guards of the girls village and now they're both dead and the treasure is hidden away somewhere”. Sasuke stares blankly at the blond, “that story makes no sense”.

My thoughts : I know you must be thinking the same thing as Sasuke – "makes no sense". I did too, but it's a pretty cool short story. It lies on the funny, creepy side that slowly starts to lose its funny touch. SS makes stupid mistakes later on but it could be because they are MCs. The ending is very ambiguous. It's not my favorite mystery but it is something. Enjoyable read but not something I will pick again.

Kakashi is suspicious of many things about Haruno Sakura. Too many things about her don't make sense, with too many incongruous explanations.

My thoughts : Author of this story just summarised Pre-Shippuden in less than 4k words and made some tiny changes to it. Not much though. One of my favorite gen fics yet. Read it if you haven't yet. You'll feel more sad than thrilled tbh. But worth it.

Their home no longer exists with the life it once had – in fact no settlement thrives anymore; they exist only in a snapshot that contradicts time itself. Families within their own homes sleep in a slumber that they cannot wake from. Those that were chatting on the street prior to the event simply drop their heads and remain unresponsive.

My thoughts : I picked it up for Mystery but I stayed for Comedy. But of course that's not to say supernatural elements in this story is not it, but it sure pales in comparison to effortless humor in this story. Lee and Kiba pair is something you don't see often but they get along too well here. Charactisation is on point as well. SS angst! + NS angst (but it's downplayed)

Team 7 is unexpectedly assigned an S-Ranked Mission involving an unsolved mystery of 10 years. An eerie adventure that will test their teamwork, strengths, and greatest fears. Do you believe in Curses?

My thoughts : My all-time favourite horror Naruto fanfiction. To me, this sets the standard of how mystery and horror elements should be handled. I have never been able to get this story out of my mind even it's been years. Perfect charactisation of Team 7 with Smart-yet-Stupid!Sakura, I-can-fight-aliens-and-reanimated-corpses-but-keep-ghosts-away-from-me!Naruto and I-dont-get-paid-enough-for-this!Sasuke. I especially love OCs here. They kinda reminds me of Pillars from KnY. You must read this story, loosely based on Zombie apocalypse + curse concept.

A bit of the Silent Hill series mixed in with Naruto. Trapped in an illusion whose rules are unknown, they struggle to find answers before darkness consumes them.

My thoughts : One of the best mystery fanfictions I've read. I especially loved how this story handled Genjutsu in the best possible way it could without it turning into some cliche, ghost story. Though really, this story has shown what my greatest fear actually is. I will never be able to leave my back open to a wheelchair. This story has simple writing yet it gives you creeps with the twists and turns. A must read one because it is unlike any other in this list.

When Naruto wakes up to a dead body in his bathroom, he begins a quick spiral into madness.

My thoughts : Listen to Halsey's Control while reading this. Quite chilling, deals with mental issues and morbid but in a fascinating way. It gives a new meaning to Dark!Naruto, but one that actually makes sense. I never saw the ending coming... I had something else in mind and I was convinced it would be, but nope. Here's a sequel to this One-Shot (Uzumaki's War) which I never picked up.

My thoughts : A very twisted NS, if you squint. It's not horror but it might as well be... it is still a disturbing story to see from the eyes of Sakura. Quite chilling to be in Sakura's shoes. But I love this because it is one shot and I loved the ending.

My thoughts : There's a reason why Shino is my favourite team 8 member. In my opinion, Shino is also one of the strongest Shinobi of his generation. His clan techniques are just that horrifying. This story is testament to that. He is so terrible.

My thoughts : I read this story a long time ago and have read this twice. Personally, it has the most interesting concept of all stories in the list. It reminds me of Vocaloid series, "Bookmark of the end". Kind of. To those who are thinking of picking this up, go ahead! It's a great book and has one of the best suspense I've read in Fandom. BUT, it has been stopped in mother-of-all-cliffhangers and Author is MIA for 4 years now. But, all things considered, it remains to be one of the best stories I've read.

My thoughts : I read this story right after "The Curse", my favourite. From what I remember, Sakura and Sasuke are both mentally deranged, in different ways. Lots of death and gore to stomach, so not for weak readers. There's no speak of fluff in this one. Zero, Zilch, Nada. I wouldn't call it your classic 'Horror', but it is very disturbing, so psychological horror is more like it. Don't eat food while reading this one. Did I mention how Sakura is mentally disturbed beyond help in this one? And Sasuke is obsessed. If these suit your tastes, go ahead.

POWERLESS AU - an alternate storyline to my fanfic big sip, where when the ninjas’ elements go out of control, there’s no stopping it, so in order to save them they have to yeet their elements with chronosteel, making new timeblade-esque weapons in the process. the gang can use the weapons afterwards, at the risk of losing themselves to their elements again. fun times

FOREVER SUPERSTAR ROCKIN AU - literally this one’s just. jay doesn’t switch out his avatar during prime empire and when he escapes the game he still looks like that and he,, can’t change it so he’s just stuck like that forever now. rip jay. at least you can still change clothes. also the same goes for kai and his avatar, he’s stuck like that now too

CHICKEN AU (credit to yasa) - they’re chickens. that’s it that’s the au. check out yasa’s post on that it’s great cole is 90% fluff

STARDEW VALLEY AU (credit to yasa) - this one has two versions solely based on who the farmers are, but basically zane gets yeeted to stardew valley instead of the never realm and either meets yasa and i’s stardew valley ocs (a plague doctor and a fae, respectively) and immediately gets adopted, or meets a different farmer who’s essentially evil and has a bad time instead. no he is not there for 60 years this time

FROZEN AU - during the attack on the village in season 11, kai gets got with the rest of the villagers but like, only his leg. so then the otherss get there and everyone collectively realizes that oh no it’s spreading. cue extremely sad scene of everyone sitting around with kai until he gets frozen like the rest and then they go to beat up the ice emperor only to realize that particular angst, oops. sorry kai

NO MORE TRAUMA AU - an extremely self-indulgent au of ours where our personas star and min simply stop every major crisis from ever happening so these kids stop being so dang traumatized. there’s a lot more thought put into it than you think, such as not stopping literally any of season 1 since it’s so important, not stopping the tournament of elements but zane’s alive this time, stuff like that. we’re just vibing over here tbh

LIGHTHOUSE AU - i scream about this in loredump-mode here

BAND AU - we came up with this as soon as i mentioned to yasa that there was an au where jay was a guitar, so it may not be original? idk. anyway, everyone’s an instrument of some kind. jay is, of course, an electric guitar, kai’s a type of spanish instrument similar to a guitar, i haven’t settled which one, cole is drums because of course, nya’s a piano cause pianos are like that, zane is a violin because his theme, and lloyd is “a particularly green mic” cause audio enhancement. anyway they can all still use their elements in this au except lloyd’s errs more on the side of enhancing the others’. they’re all instruments in the day and people at night and probably fight crime at night like vigilantes. i’m thinking maybe certain characters like pixal play them in a band and like,, don’t know they cosplay as people at night? not sure, i don’t have much yet

GAMES:

First game you ever played: This is gonna date me! Right so. I can’t remember it well but Fifa 98 definitely had an indoor stadium so I must have played that, because it wasn’t on Fifa 99 which I have much clearer memories of playing. But that would have come out when I was like, 3/4 years old so I’m not sure if I actually played it so much as went OOH! at whatever my brother/cousin (because we would have been at my aunt’s to actually have computer games) were doing. Or if we were behind the curve with getting it (also very likely). Definitely played Fifa 99 on my cousin’s computer for many years, also Lego Racers (which heh, I redownloaded earlier in the year as well for the nostalgia kick - no lies it holds up!). I have a lot of nostalgia for late 90s/early 00s video game graphics because of this, and tbh Fifa games probably peaked with 99. 

Favourite game: Honestly I’m so invested in SWTOR so it’s hard not to say that, it’s had the biggest impact on my life like. Open world + Star Wars? the dream. I’m more of a SW fan than a gamer so it was definitely the universe that drew me into it in the first place. Also BOTW because oh my god. And I only got into that once lockdown hit this year but honestly, I cannot say how much I adore it.

Game you’ve played through multiple times: Super super into the Lego games, so Lego Star Wars - to the point we had it on the Xbox, and then I’ve downloaded it on Steam and played through it multiple times on the pc. And I’m a completionist, so that’s like, collecting everything not just going through the story once. Fun story, the prequel games were released before RotS came out so I got the basic outline of the film from that game first oops. Also I’ve played through the Crash Bandicoot GBA games quite a bit too.

Game you hated at first but now you love: Don’t think I have one? Because yeah if I’m hating it right off I’m not gonna stick with it. Which is probs why I’m really fussy about buying games and replay so much stuff instead. I have my comfort zone okay

Game you used to love but now you hate: I spent a lot of hours playing Runescape in my life, and every now and then nostalgia tells me ‘hey log in!’ and within two minutes I realise it is the grindiest game ever. I still have my account from when I was like, 11, though, which is a substantial chunk of my life. Also League of Legends - I joined it because a few friends roped me in and it was great when we could play together but going it alone was pretty brutal because fuck up a tiny bit and boom, toxicity. So then I just played ARAM mode and not SR with others, then just stopped altogether. May be partly why group-finder scares me so much, though also y’know social anxiety in general. But let’s not get into that.

Your favourite game atmosphere/setting(s): BOTW for sure, I can just lose myself in that world forever. The music is fab as well and I’ve been trying to learn a bit of it on guitar, music adds a lot to a game/film/anything for me so yeah. But it’s also visually just so beautiful. There’s a lot of planets in SWTOR as well, Tython, Voss, etc.

Game with the best group/companion(s): I don’t really play a great deal of games where I have companions really so gotta say SWTOR! Smuggler gang is my favourite. Just all out nonsense.

A game with your favourite ending: literally drawing a blank here. I think a lot of things I’ve played have been the type to go on and on. 

A game with the worst ending: as above. maybe I just don’t finish things? That said the final boss fight in I think the second of the Crash trilogy games was super disappointing and didn’t match how insanely hard I found that game. (And I’m talking as an adult hahaha, I got the Switch ones this year). also kinda with you on the end of the agent storyline too, I left that one til last because the internet raved about how good it was but in the end I was...underwhelmed. 

Best character customisation: struggling to actually think of games I’ve played with character customisation as opposed to ones where I’m just given a character/choose from a selection. and it’ll be a real sad indicator if I say SWTOR because I am constantly complaining about the creator. though I do like outfit designer. hmm, pass.

HERO AND COMPANIONS:

Your favourite playable character: does it count if they’re my own? haha. in SWTOR I’d generally say a smuggler because I seem to come up with 5000 different ideas for OCs and playing as a gunslinger is super fun (and I’ve learnt to love scoundrel too!). And then in the Lego games I’d play as Shaak Ti a lot, but that was first because she looked cool though I do think she’s neat generally! But she probably doesn’t count as a video game character. Ooooh Link as well, because I’m getting more and more into Zelda games.

RELATIONSHIPS:

Favourite game friendships: I live for the smuggler crew dynamic, and the BH crew as well. And the Jedi Knight/Kira friendship warms my soul. 

Favourite game relationships: obv I’m super biased but Theron/Knight. Smuggler/Risha. Consular/Felix. BH/Torian. I’ll just list my otps here shall I? SWTOR is the only game I’ve done where there’s been relationships I think. still haven’t finished KOTOR.

Favourite companion banter: smuggler crew probably again. Smuggler just never stops. not sure about between companions though there’s a bit of it with the smug as well.

A relationship you weren’t sure of but loved: I knew going into the Docmance how many people hated it but I really enjoyed it! Suited how my Knight was at that point. 

A character you wish you could romance: Elara with f!Trooper, hoping that becomes more of a thing going forward. Also I wanna kiss Tau. And Anri. Basically I see a cool woman come along and I’m just like...is this a love interest?

A game you love watching playthroughs for and want to play: I don’t really watch playthroughs a great deal so I got nothing here! and when I watch playthroughs they’re normally of games I already know well because I wanna experience them first for myself? So I like watching BOTW challenge/speedrun/trickshot videos and stuff sometimes, and ACNH island tours but that’s because I know the games.

Love watching playthroughs but won’t ever play: as above really, but if I don’t have the intention to play them then I’m almost certainly not watching vids of.

Why do you play video games?: uhhhh. because I enjoy them, but also escapism I guess? like it’s easier to throw myself into another world and focus and fixate on that rather than dealing with the general...stuff. it’s a type of relief sometimes innit.

I've been recently bummed and kind of going through a creator's block so...

Just making a summary of my OCs I guess.

Obey Me!

Ren - obviously, he's the main OC since he's a custom MC. In a way, he's a mix of Mammon and Lucifer, so no wonder his relationship with them is the most emotional, with Mammon being mostly compatible, with Lucifer strikingly incompatible. Aside of his issues and taste for horrible puns, he's the genki boy type. Since he's my game MC, not only fic MC, his canon is basically that he doesn't romance anyone and won a found family in the Devildom. Demisexual gay, though since his on the beginning of exploration of his own identity, he was only informed that asexuality is a thing, so he isn't really aware of demisexuality and identifies as asexual unless he'd romance someone and develop sexual attraction too. Romance however doesn't automatically mean he would develop it. In many scenarios he doesn't. He's struggling with his identity a bit due to internalised homophobia and aphobia sometimes despite being happy to have discovered a lot about himself in the Devildom.

Caspian Smirnoff - something between MC and a fic OC. They're generally from a story 200 years later that follows a very similar storyline as the storyline of game season 1. The first exchange programme ends up in failure, neither humans or angels make it home. 2 centuries later Diavolo tries again with one student and tbh Caspian isn't surprised they're the chosen one. Caspian comes from a cursed family - his ancestor sold his little sister to the demons, the girl was tainted and devoured for simple riches he received. The man was murdered but his family survived and, albeit rich, carried the stain on them for many generations. Caspian doesn't have really any emotional stance on their ancestors, but since he's in the Devildom he might as well dig for some info since he's already digging to discover the mystery of the huge magical tree and the fate of first exchange students. His/their stance on gender is basically "no" and he finally can be freely pursuing his identity since the Devildom is very chill on queerness. They use he and they pronouns.

Stray - stray dog roaming around the campus and dorms. He's half hellhound and half a human world dog. His siblings didn't survive on human world food and he barely made it, adopted and saved in the last moments by an old witch. The witch however passed away soon and he ended up in the Devildom, struggling to keep himself alive with full blood demon dogs around attacking him. He's gotten strong enough to survive but has many scars from fights and leads a solitary life. He's basically a character made so he can receive head pats.

Oracle - an prophetic entity haunting Belphie in Caspian's story and residing in his body. Belphegor leaves his attic only when Oracle is active and on their way to visit someone to give them uninvited prophecies.

The Tree - the main culprit of the happenings of Caspian's story. A sentient magical tree, extending its branches over the whole Devildom and shining upon it. Also, access to it was sealed by Lucifer, it's generally similar to attic from main story. Also, likely the root of the problem with Oracle hauntings.

AyaKoi

Rensuke - from a Dracula rip-off, basically yandere for Yakumo to the point the yandere Yakumo himself gets creeps and rejects him. Captured by the military because of his uncanny bond to Yakumo. Also, he ends up with Aizen despite developing no Stockholm syndrome.

Minako - Futaba's bff, mistaken for Futaba by Yakumo at first because of her Ayakashi blood as her father is actually a wolf spirit living among humans with his human wife. Ends up temporarily dead before awakening as Ayakashi. She ends up dating Futaba.

Cousins - Futaba's and Koga's descendants. While their bloodline was generally human, their onmyouji powers made them stay close to Ayakashi world and through 3-4 generations intermarried with Ayakashi too. Hyena Ayakashi cousin is however the first one birn Ayakashi and comes to Japan to trace his heritage and reunite with his onmyouji cousin. Their story remains though almost completely undeveloped.

Fanfic Writer Appreciation (and a little self love)

Sooooo, as talked about I wanted to do a little promo. I may not always be my favorite writer, but I try to be one of my cheerleaders. And well, if you’re here you obviously have some interest in what I’m up to.

SO! Here’s a list of my currently-published WIPs and some info about them, in the order that I’ve updated them, most recent to oldest.

Dog Whistle (Ao3 || FFN) - started off as a prompt from @snackarey​ when I reblogged some Soulmate AUs. This one was a prompt for soulmates (Zack/Kunsel) who felt what each other felt - like pain. Needless to say, this went into a canon divergent AU where Kunsel felt some of what Zack was going through when Hojo got a hold of him after Nibelheim. And saved him, setting off an ever-increasing list of revolutionary consequences. It’s nearly 58K, and though I’m a little stuck I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Dewprism: Journey to the [Relic] (Ao3 || FFN) - this actually has a lot more written than I’ve posted, I just got a little frustrated because well... the fandom is teeny tiny and there’s no real feedback. But! It’s an interesting piece. It’s a semi-novelization where I’m taking the old PS1 Classic from Squaresoft, Threads of Fate/Dewprism and merging the two storylines. Basically... you can’t play the game anymore unless you got it from the PSN for your PSP or... PS2, I think? Or emulate it, of course, you can do that. And I wanted to bring the experience to more people, because it’s got such a great story.

It’s Not a Game (Ao3 || FFN) - this is my Avengers/FF7 crossover, and funny story, it was actually born out of a comment back on my old Genesis RP blog about how Genesis would totally be Tony Stark’s favorite character if he played Crisis Core. It’s turned into a full blown fixit I have a type and I actually have like, 90% of the next chapter done, it just doesn’t feel quite right so I haven’t posted it. And am, of course, stuck. There’s a case of choice paralysis here; the premise is that, in the MCU, FF7 is a series like it is in our world, and Tony is a fan. So he goes to make a simulation to do a self-insert... only he somehow transports himself (and Bruce) to a dimension where it’s real. A “Stark-insert” someone called it; and it does use a lot of “Self-Insert” tropes, actually. There’s just so many ways it could go that I’m stuck on choosing exactly how to progress here.

Party of Five (Ao3 || FFN) - the MMO AU! This was actually originally a prompt @up-sideand-down​ got, that I got permission to take off with. It’s a modern AU AGSZC where they meet online playing this MMO I made up that’s based off of FF7 and modeled after a mashup of like, me studying WoW and my experiences playing SWTOR. I’ve actually got some ideas of where it’s going, I just got too caught up in technicalities and need to reroute it back to the relationships going on.

Welcome to FF7 (series link, Ao3) - this is me hashing out basically what I think went down pre-games. Most of it is headcanon, I cannot stress that enough. It’s based off of the little we know, of course, but there’s just so much we don’t that it’s mostly headcanon. Tons of OCs. It’s a whole series, and they overlap - different sections that follow different departments, mostly. The base story is Welcome to ShinRa (Ao3 || FFN) and that follows the man who will become President Shinra from back when they first discover mako energy. I’ve also got Welcome to the Science Department (Ao3 || FFN) which starts off with college students Gast and Grimoire and how they get drawn into the beginnings of what becomes ShinRa Electric.

And last but not least, honorable mention to Times of Change (Ao3) - this was actually a piece inspired by @deadcatwithaflamethrower‘s Re-Entry series. I desperately need to reread that before I can hope to continue this, but... one day. One day.... I don’t suggest reading it right now, my headcanons have changed and it needs an overhaul. But you’ll see eventually.

Compilation of FF7

The Snowball Effect (Ao3 || FFN) ... sequel? continuation? - as one of the gift exchange presents I’ve just done this past month, it is definitely standalone as is, but if I ever figure out where I want to take it, I’ll continue that one. It was just far too much fun.

The Price of Freedom - the sequel to To Be Human, which... I’m looking forward to, but I really burnt myself out on TBH so it’s going to be longer than anticipated before I approach this one. TBH definitely stands on its own, but there were some loose ends left to tie up, so we’ll see how that goes. And when it goes, when I’m ready to approach that again. TBH needs some editing, too... lots of work there.

The Unnamed Pokemon/FF7 crossover that I’ve talked about for... a couple years now (yikes) but now actually have a plot for. It’s very interesting to me, putting Pokemon on Gaia, and seeing how that changes everything. Because like, they’d have presumably used Mew’s DNA since there’s no Jenova (I can’t see them using Deoxys, which would be the closer parallel) and since there’s no Chaos, Grimoire is still alive. Which means no extra Drama between Lucrecia and Vincent - and really, there shouldn’t be the stress between Vincent and Hojo over her being sick because Mew would theoretically be much more compatible with humans than Jenova was.

What I’m saying is Seph has three parents and at least one set of grandparents and a much more stable Sephiroth (and Genesis and Angeal, thanks to Lucrecia teaming up with Gillian) leads to some very interesting changes. Like deciding they don’t want to fight the Wutai war anymore. >_>

Hold My Flower - a timetravel fic featuring our one and only flowergirl, who has had enough of people messing up her planet and refuses to just... let it die. She is, unquestionably, a force of nature. No fragile flower to be found here, this is the gal you see in the OG who threatened a mob boss and meant it. Heaven help anyone who gets in her way. She’s going to save the world. Possibly in a Turk Suit, don’t look at me.

The Long Game - Reeve goes back in time, and holy crap this one is a monster I am truly intimidated by so it’s gonna take a while for me to get going on that. XD But basically, similar premise to the above - the world isn’t healing and someone has to do something, so Reeve is nominated due to his position in ShinRa and potential to... he’d say “influence” but let’s call a spade a spade - manipulate people and events to a more favorable outcome.

A third BIT fic is one that I started writing with my friend @askshivanulegacy back in... damn, somewhere between 2011-2013, before we switched to writing SWTOR fic together. It’s one where Zack is sent back in time, and the differences in him post-Hojo change things even before he can start deliberately changing anything. But I got permission to take and remake that, so I intend to, one day. It was Good Stuff. And you can never have too much timetravel.

Dragon Ball Z

So, this is an oooooold fandom of mine - the first fanfics I ever wrote (under a different name, no I’m not telling XD it was ten years ago) were for DBZ, and definitely the first ones I ever read, back in the days of dial up. And I read a couple interesting takes on Chichi/Vegeta fic... and I was talking with @vorpalgirl about it and said I’d love to try my hand at something with that one day. I think they have the potential to be a really great pair (don’t get me wrong, I appreciate the canon pairings but those two have a lot of potential) so... yeah someday I might dip my toes back into Z. It’s on the wishlist, as well as reviving and cleaning up an old unfinished work of mine. Someday~

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Seven Years Lost - this one I’ve been debating a long time, and even did a little on! It’s basically how I rationalize what happens when Link pulls the Master Sword out and - well, spoilers but it’s a really old game so - when he comes out as a teenager and is immediately able to handle a nearly-adult body. It involves a dreamscape scenario where he communicates with his past incarnations and learns from them, and from sharing dreams with Zelda due to their bond.

Sailor Moon (manga/Crystal based)

Second Chances - I read a lot of SM fanfic back in the day, and my favorite ones were... more real? Like, there were more consequences to these 14 year old kids out there fighting for their lives and sometimes losing them. I’d like to tell a story through Minako/Venus’ eyes primarily, covering what that’s like, and then I also just really want a happy ending for the senshi/shittenou? So... yay canon divergence, lol. You guys know the deal by now. XD

Star Wars: Legends Era

United We Stand - SWTOR fanfic, baby! Basically, I’m just dying to see the eight classes cross over each other, and I will bend canon to do it. For anyone that’s played the original class story lines, there is some cross over but believe me when I say there were huge opportunities that were let drop by nature of the game. Just with the two Jedi stories alone... but that’s #spoilers for a not-as-old game so I’ll leave that be and only elaborate if asked.

my last post turned into me ranting about my headcanons for the characters in hogwarts mystery and that wasn’t the place for it so here it is!!!!

this is....probably incoherent and super boring but w/e

when i realized i was obsessed with this game and the characters and the story (i still roll my eyes sometimes when the game gives me an option to say ‘my brother’ ‘i’m doing this to find my brother’ ‘i just want to find my brother’ like no im here to hang with my friends and get cursed thanks, if i find jake then that’s just a plus), i decided to develop the characters a little more. which manifested in me using canva to make character sheets for them, that listed like, all their basic HP facts (house, patronus, pet, wand, fave quidditch team, you NAME it), quotes, a little palette because that’s cute and i needed to fill space....

so i spent hours researching wand cores and wand woods and made a huge spreadsheet and settled on wands for everyone; researched all the quidditch teams in the league and picked all the characters’ favorites; and i also started started working on patronus/boggart but that’s HARD dude

*worth mentioning, i started this in like....year 4? so i haven’t even started with charlie, jae, liz, or badeea (have not unlocked anyone beyond them yet, like diego or beatrice). i did not realize this until just now so i might have to jump into working on CW/JK/LT/BA’s character sheets tomorrow (oh no should i also do merula and ismelda?? i do not enjoy them but merula is so involved in this rakepick storyline and i just had an ismelda/barnaby sidequest that i feel like i need to include them.....ugh) (speaking of non-friend characters, I WILL NOT be including percy weasley though he can fuck right off in all iterations of harry potter) edit: i fuckin haven’t done andre or orion either, oh my god

ANYWAY back to what we’re here for: my headcanons. i only have solid headcanons so far for orion, rowan, and bill (and rowan and bill’s really only count as one headcanon lmao)

*also worth mentioning, i am only on chapter 13 of year 5 but when i was doing all the aforementioned research, i HAPPENED to see “died” on a particular character’s page which gave me a fucking heart attack and i was SO mad i got it spoiled. but it has also made me appreciate and love this character much much more while i still have time with them :’)

here’s just like a brief bit about my hc’s:

obviously it’s very weird that they’d name another character orion, give him flowing brown hair, and conveniently make him an orphan....right? like how is he not canonically a part of the Black family? (i recognize many fans will not consider hogmys to be canon, i was in the same boat in june, trying to do research for my OC and coninuously stumbling upon hogmys stuff....but now that i’m obsessed with it i consider it canon, but still keep it at a distance from book/movie canon to keep everything straight in my head) so i decided orion was the illegitimate half-blood son of one of the Blacks, who was then given up to an orphanage so his coward of a father could avoid being disowned from the family. muggle mother’s memories were obliviated. i have a whole thing about who his dad is, why he’s named ‘orion amari’....i quite like it.

orion runs into tonks in 1995 and she convinces him to join the order (after, ya know, background checks or whatever). obviously orion is very upfront about not really being into war, or fighting or anything, so they let him stay back at grimmauld place when other members go on missions. he keeps in contact with the wizards out in the field, prepared to apparate to them if the need help. he offers spiritual and emotional healing sessions for members affected by the first, and eventually second, wizarding wars. and, you know, he stumbles upon the black family tree and finds it....quite interesting

i’m obsessed with orion’s backstory/future-story can you tell??

anyway the other headcanon is about rowan and bill and tbh i don’t even know what to type here because my headcanon for them is quite long and it’s very hard to concisely describe the friendship i imagine them having during their time at hogwarts and briefly after bill leaves. it’s very good and maybe i’ll make a separate post one day and just copy and paste the text from my phone notes into a text post, idk

1. As of right now all of my wips are in the same universe. So there will probably be subtle nods to the bands of The Reckless in Chaos.

2. In the very first version of Chaos I decided to include a battle of the bands storyline for some reason?? but it’s been scraped since. 

3. Originally Chaos was going to be a long series but I shortened it to one book and now two (the second being more focused on Kelsey’s younger brother and his friend group.) The series was going to follow Ryker and Kelsey into adulthood while Ryker pursued a career as a cop.

4. I chose San Francisco as the setting because I’ve always wanted to go to San Francisco/move there. 

5. Chaos is basically a mix of all of my favorite parts of my favorite movies & tv shows. Examples are, We Need To Talk About Kevin, Skins, The Breakfast Club, etc.

originally it was titled “oh kelsey” but after major changes in the plot i realized the name didn’t fit the feel of the story anymore so i changed it

im most likely going to change it later but for right now its, “In the mailbox there was a manila envelope with letters inside.”

i know very little about harry potter but from what i know Ryker gives me hufflepuff vibes, Magnolia is probably a griffindor, Odessa would be a ravenclaw and Hunter, Meredith & Shane might be slytherin. im too lazy to try and think of anyone else’s.

During the novel Kelsey gets a scar on her cheek, Shane probably has various scars from abuse and fights, Felix’s nose is crooked from all the times he’s been punched in the face, Myranda has self harm scars, & Blair has cigarette burns.

I feel like Meredith fits the mean girl trope pretty well.

1. What was the first element of your OC that you remember considering (name, appearance, backstory, etc.)? it was his style. i always knew he was gonna dress a bit edgy, when i first created him he was a little bit more emo though.

2. Did you design them with any other characters/OCs from their universe in mind? no, he was very different from the characters i created before.

3. How did you choose their name? at first his name was jason, i think? i honestly don’t know why i named him that??? eventually i changed to to shane because it felt more like him. there was a period in time when his name was seth but i changed it back.

4. In developing their backstory, what elements of the world they live in played the most influential parts? because the story is set in san francisco which is known for their large punk scene, i decided he was going to spend a lot of his time in that scene so i created “nigel’s tavern” and the staff of said club.  this really played a huge part in the rest of his development.

5.6.7) Is there any significance behind their hair colour/eye colour/height? not really. but originally he had red patches in his hair because edgy but i scrapped that.

8. What (if anything) do you relate to within their character/story? i don’t think there’s really anything about him that i can relate to,, that’s probably for the best
