imagine....

getting tattooed with yves.

you tagged along with him to go to his favourite tattoo artist, max, because he wanted to get a new piece for his sleeve. for some reason, he wouldn't tell you what exactly he was getting, stating that its a 'surprise'.

in a bid to turn the tables (mostly cause you dont like surprises and you're stubborn), you decided on a whim to also get a tattoo, and to not tell him what it is.

when you arrive at the tattoo shop, you're matched with the owner's apprentice, and they finish your (smol) tattoo rather quickly. yves stays by your side throughout the tattooing, holding your hand and trying not to glance at the tattoo you're getting. he gently gives you a gold sticker on your forehead for being good when getting tattooed.

next to get tattooed was yves, and he got tattooed by max, the owner. yves tattoo is a long process, as they're many details that require patience and precision. it ends up taking about 8 hours, and in those 8 hours, you decided to go out on a whim and get your septum pierced as well.

now, it was time for the final reveal. you guys played rock paper scissors to see who would show first, and you lost so your reveal was first. your tattoo was a little cursive 'y' that was located on the right side of your pelvis. it was done in both regular ink and uv ink, so it shows up in the daytime but also glows under black light.

yves was very very flattered and gently kissed you while thanking you. because you didn't have to get that tattooed; you could've gotten anything, but the fact that you thought of him first made him appreciate even more. he also let you know that the septum piercing suited you and he's glad that you both have matching septums now.

yves' tattoo was a shocker. it was a well detailed realistic portrait of your eyes on his forearm. done in black and grey but the eyes were in colour (same colour as yours). you were honestly speechless. you kissed him and told him you loved it sm, and he told you it was no big deal. yves jokes that now he's got you tattooed on him, you cant leave him cause he doesn't want to get a cover-up. you held his hand while he got wrapped up and told him that you're never going to leave.

and if you know yves, then you know he's going to hold you to your word by all means.

pro tip: dont promise your yandere that you'll never leave, no matter how sweet they may be.

I've prepared a long winded explanation with multiple illustrations so you don't get bored

So the lords absolutely have servants, HUNDREDS in fact. Meet Yves!

This is yves(pronounced eve), their servant. Technically this is one Yves BUT they work like a hive mind basically. there are dozens of different yves, all of them look the same(with one notable exception), have little to no personality, and exist specifically to serve the lords. They do anything from carrying messages to clearing corpses from the layers, basically whatever work the lords find too beneath them to deal with.

They kind of work like bees or ants, where they can all act individually, but often will work together to complete tasks. much like bees or ants as well, Yves(pronounce the 's' referring to multiple) are incredibly delicate. They are typically hand made by Juzaal, who personally sculpts, fires, glazes, fires again, assembles, and dresses each one of them.

They're present on every level to varying degrees. You'll usually see them on their own, either delivering items, cleaning up messes, or wandering back to their posts, but sometimes you'll see them working together or loitering in packs. (fun fact: the coloquial term for a group of Yves is a coterie if they're idle, and a parcel if they're working on something)

FINALLY, the notable exception i mentioned earlier: Juzaal has a personal yves he uses as an assistant. He's considered like a head servant for the yves, and he's the only one with a real personality, albeit being a much more reserved version of juzaal's personality.

I also left out Zahrak's servants, but they're basically just yves but made of metal. they're called centurions, they're just bigger, more aggressive yves.

Affection: How do they show their love and affection? How intense would it get?

yves' major love languages are quality time and words of affirmation, so that's how he prefers to show love, however, he is always willing to do things for you, which also means he enjoys acts of service. yves may also give you gifts and show you physical affection if that is your preferred love language. he's here to please you darling

Blood: How messy are they willing to get when it comes to their darling?

yves prefers to keep things fairly clean when it comes to committing murder; but he doesn't mind being messy, especially if he has a message to pass to other love rivals (i.e. you're HIS.)

Cruelty: How would they treat their darling once abducted? Would they mock them?

yves isn't the type to kidnap, and there's a high probability that you will go with him willingly, because its very likely that you'll fall for him. regardless, yves would never mock or harm his darling. he honestly just wants to take care of you. and he will for as long as you let him.

Darling: Aside from abduction, would they do anything against their darling’s will?

nope. yves is very very pro-consent. unless its a situation where you're in immediate danger, he'll avoid doing anything against your will (unless you're into things like that)

Exposed: How much of their heart do they bare to their darling? How vulnerable are they when it comes to their darling?

yves is extremely guarded at first, as he's not the type to lay all his cards on the table, but as time progresses and he sees you truly love him for him, amd not cause he's a good therapist/listener, he'll most def be more open.

Fight: How would they feel if their darling fought back?

he wouldn't be too bothered tbh. he's very open minded and understanding (he's a therapist duh?) and he understands that being yandere isn't normal, and he completely understands if you have a negative reaction to his yandere tendencies.

Game: Is this a game to them? How much would they enjoy watching their darling try to escape?

it is most def not a game to him. he just wants to love you.

Hell: What would be their darling’s worst experience with them?

the worst thing yves could probably do is isolate you from your loved ones by telling them that you are mentally incapable of taking care of yourself.

or by convincing them that you guys are secretly in love and that you're in denial ab it. and yves is very convincing, so most people will believe him.

Ideals: What kind of future do they have in mind for/with their darling?

yves honestly just wants a simple life with you. going to work, coming home to you and the kids. he doesn't mind you working as well, he's pretty open-minded so anything you'd prefer is something he's willing to take into consideration.

Jealousy: Do they get jealous? Do they lash out or find a way to cope?

he most definitely gets jealous, but he's not super volatile about it (towards you ofc). he's the type that's suspicious of anyone; be it male, female or enby. he knows you're attractive and special and that other people can see that; so he's always observant to make sure you dont get taken away. however, if he feels like you were encouraging/permitting someone to flirt with you, he'll get a bit upset and will have a long convo with you to sort things out.

Kisses: How do they act around or with their darling?

he's very affectionate and lovey dovey. he loves to spend time with you and you could say he's the clingy type, but not too much. he loves to kiss and make out. he's willing to have sex, if that's something you want to. like i said earlier, he's very big on consent, so if you're not in the mood to be touched or interacted with, he'll give you your space and interact with you indirectly or from a distance. he's also particularly observant if his darling is neurodivergent, because they may not be necessarily able to communicate exactly what they need all the time.

Love letters: How would they go about courting or approaching their darling?

yves lovessssss writing love letters!! and he will continue to do so, even if you guys get married. he's a very sweet and caring yandere, so that really shines through during the courting period. he doesn't really have the tendency to kidnap or abduct his darling; because it's more likely for them to want to go with him. he's the type of guy that your friends tell you to give a chance because 'he's a good man with a good job' when you tell them ab your doubts.

note: yves would do anything to make you fall in love with him, even if it means changing part of his personality to what you prefer. he's not willing to alter much of his looks tho.

Mask: Are their true colors drastically different from the way they act around everyone else?

yes and no.

its not necessarily like yves is hiding his true colours. he's just the type that doesn't like to reveal much about himself. he's naturally secretive and only says what he needs to. he's just a bit different with his darling because he loves you and sees you as a safe space. plus he's kind of secretive with you as well. this will significantly decrease as your relationship matures tho.

Naughty: How would they punish their darling?

mostly isolation tbh. he does have a bit of dad energy so he may scold you. regardless, this rarely happens because he's pretty understanding towards you and your behaviours. and you rarely act up anyways so its all good.

<basically there's very little you could do that yves would consider as 'acting up' or 'misbehaving'>

Oppression: How many rights would they take away from their darling?

not much. its just that almost everything you do will be supervised. that's pretty much it.

Patience: How patient are they with their darling?

extremely patient. yves is probably the most patient yandere oc i have rn; which is saying a lot because they're all patient af.

Quit: If their darling dies, leaves, or successfully escapes, would they ever be able to move on?

yves would probably never move on. before you there was none, and after you, there will be none.

i see yves as a one darling yandere, that would prefer to stay alone and like adopt a kid or something, rather than have another darling.

he'd never be able to recover from the anguish of a lost darling.

that's why he'll never let it happen.

Regret: Would they ever feel guilty about abducting their darling? Would they ever let their darling go?

no and no. ♡

yves believes what he's doing is for the greater good, and for your complete happiness. this world doesn't understand you, but he does. that's why you should be with just him. he's a safe space for you. no one else would ever get you the way he does. plus its not like you're restricted to just a room or just a house. you're allowed to go out and stuff, you're just supervised 99% of the time.

so please stay darling.

Stigma: What brought about this side of them (childhood, curiosity, etc)?

its a matter of nature vs nurture. everyone in the falor family is indeed yandere; so is it a genetic thing? or is it because of how he was raised? nobody really knows tbh.

Tears: How do they feel about seeing their darling scream, cry, and/or isolate themselves?

in the honeylikesyanderes universe, darlings dont really act like this.

and in yves case, even if they do, he's manipulative enough to get them to stop. plus he's a therapist. your therapist. so he's going to reassure you, and validate your feelings, and let you know he understands. but its manipulation to get you to calm down and warm up to him even more.

Unique: Would they do anything different from the classic yandere?

yves is nonviolent towards his darling and would never intentionally hurt them. he's soft and sweet but he also has an unpredictable side with gives him a bit of edge. i think compared to most typical yanderes, he's very soft, and he adores his partner very much, rather than just seeing them as property.

Vice: What weakness can their darling exploit in order to escape?

none. you cant manipulate a master manipulator. you cant really predict his next move. and his has a back up plan for almost everything.

physical pain? no

a tiny bit of mental anguish when you're acting up once in a while? maybe

yves will avoid it as much as possible, but if he absolutely needs to, he will.

yves respects his darling as a person, and tries his best to make that evident. yves would most definitely go the extra mile to win his darling over and to please you. he knows he's not perfect; but he can be perfect for you. he wants you to like him. he needs you to love him.

yves loves his darling and holds them in high regard, but he doesn't absolutely worship them the way his brother does.

Yearn: How long do they pine after their darling before they snap?

it depends tbh.

yves does not mind playing the long game, and he might end up waiting for years before making his move.

he just needs enough time for him to form a solid plan. yves most probably wont swoop in and start publicly pining after his darling until he has a fool-proof plan; which can take days, months or years, depending on the complexity of the situation.

Zenith: Would they ever break their darling?

i dont think so.

yves' darling wouldn't necessarily break, because there's nothing to break there. they gradually just learn to fall in line. i think at most, if they really dislike yves, they'll eventually succumb to stockholm syndrome.
