I have genuinely never had to fully close and re-open an app more than I have had to with tumblr since the new ui update holy fuck it’s absurd
#click replies on post- option to exit disappears. I have to restart the app to get out.#use my activity page to reply to a reblog. return to home page. nonfunctional meatball menu + ‘more…’ from unknown source overlays button#I once again have to restart the app#go into somebody’s blog. check discord for half a second. my homepage is now their blog. 0 option to exit out. guess what I do#write an ask/post. buttons all break. cannot exit out and the send button will cause me to spam the same message as long as I click it#Time To Restart The Fucking App#I bet you 10 dollars that when I try to post this that last one’s gonna happen

Love seeing people talking about the endings of Signalis, but whenever I see one being lifted as more canon than the others I think about that tweet from Yuri Stern that pretty much said point blank that there was no ending that was more or less canon or final than the others...
#i kinda offhandedly said it before#but my own interpretation is each ending both ends/continues the loop#the player hitting the 'begin' button thus restarting the game is what continues it#no matter if it's the false ending#promise ending#or artifact ending#at the same time if you never open the game again if you never hit begin the cycle never restarts#no matter which ending it is#canonized kinda like Undertale in that way#signalis#nightly speaks#signalis spoilers#signalis theories

When I was a child I dug into the registry of a tiny windows xp laptop with 2 gigs of ram and broke something so deeply that I was never able to access the control panel again on that computer and ever since then I have been afflicted with the sorcerer's curse

holy shit i don't think i ever want to use capcut again, editing this video was a NIGHTMARE
#this post is prompted by the breif crashout i had because the export button didn't work#i had to keep closing the app and turning off (and once restarting) my ipad i was actually SOBBING#like i had an easier time exporting the silver video and it was almost TWICE the length of this video#but it's done now. thank fuck#i don't have a thumbnail yet and it's too late to make one now but i can do that tomorrow#THE VIDEO SHOULD BE OUT TOMORROW. hopefully#but yeah fuck capcut it becomes a laggy mess if you make anything over a minute#misia has a stupid thought

The good news is my smart typewriter arrived, the bad news is its battery is deceased
#basically i tried to turn it on right out of the box and it did not respond at all#so i put it on charge and left it for like 10 minutes; at which point it did turn right on when i pressed the power button#i did the quick start stuff and postbox works fine; send to email works fine; all the keys seem to work and it did a firmware update#which fixed the tiny bit of lag the screen had at first#i’m constantly hitting the wrong keys but i do that on any keyboard til i’m used to it. it’s a nice keyboard#the only thing is when i checked how charging was going just now; the battery percentage was still showing 1%. 🧐#it’s been charging for well over an hour and a half#i did a restart and switched to what i think is an optimal charger#(i.e. the usb cable that came with the device + the usb-c wall plug that came with my ipad#not the charging lead for my earbuds + a random wonky samsung plug which is what i was using before)#i’m also going to fully stop bothering it until probably like late in the evening at minimum#i SHOULD be working technically#in my defence i didn’t expect it to arrive so soon. tracking never updated so i thought it was stuck at a random international depot#when actually it made it to heathrow like 2 days ago#look i’m just going to try and count my blessings that everything aside from the battery is working beautifully right now#and if i was a lithium battery left in transit for like 10 days i’d probably die too#worst case scenario i’m just going to have to exclusively use the thing while it’s plugged in. and it has a long cable.. i’ll be fine#personal

Finally defeated Romeo by the skin of my teeth!
All the poor puppets are weeping.
P has long hair which I kinda like. Possibly ruined something with Antonia as that’s when my controller started to freak out
I am once again at a lost for what to spend my ergo on but spend I must before I die!
I made it to the arcade before dying.
But something weird…was a body always left behind with your ergo when you die? Am I only just now noticing this?

the tumblr app just crashed my phone in ways i didn't even know a phone could crash <3
#first it froze. happens often w this app. then when i clicked the lock button to try restart it the screen went greyscale and dimmer#then after a couple of minutes the screen went black and i couldn't wake it again#THEN when it finally turned back on my battery has gone from 60% to 5%.....
