When I was a kid I wanted to be a fine artist and open my own studio and art gallery. I loved drawing and painting. Dreaming got my creativity going. You’d often find me up in the middle of the night painting away at something I had just dreamt up. I even sold most of my artwork from years ago. I went to school for commercial art thinking a career in the advertising industry was my calling. Then I got pregnant and moved to San Diego then motherhood became my obsession. That baby is now 26 and living a life of her own. My youngest is 21 and already busy doing her own thing. Needless to say it’s been years since I’ve picked up a paint brush, this time it’s on furniture. I’ve found my latest obsession and I’m in love with this chalk paint business!! I love love love LOVE it!! I just want to paint all the things!! Bring it on!!
