KS Fill: Bryce/Jared; quick learner
For the prompt: I would really like to see someone (coach or media) realize Bryce is not actually an idiot (at least about hockey)
SO: How is it, having Bryce Marcus back in the roster for this final run before the playoffs? Is it a relief to have him back? BF: We have faith in all our guys, but I mean, of course we’re glad to have Bryce back. LR: I wouldn’t use the word relief, though. That’s not the feeling I get. It’s a treat to have him back with us. BF: Yes. LR: And I don’t just mean on the ice. The guy’s a sponge, truly. Everything I teach him, he either picks it right up, or he knows it already. I’ve coached some of the best players in the world, here and internationally, and I’d like to think I’m pretty accustomed to bright hockey minds. But it’s a treat. It’s a treat. SO: High praise. LR: My guys know — I never give a compliment unless I mean it. BF: Is that why you never give me compliments? (Laughter) LR: The only thing I don’t like about that guy is that I won’t get to coach him in the Olympics. SO: You don’t see a defection to Team USA in his future? LR: Nah, pretty sure the guy’s heart is right here in Vancouver. BF: If there’s a place for a heart to be… LR: It’s a pretty good one. BF: Great one.

*
Jared’s honestly a little surprised it takes as long as it does for the coaching staff to realise just how bright Bryce is. Or more, to pick up on just how broad that intelligence is, because it doesn’t take long for them to figure out how quickly Bryce picks up strategy, almost no time at all before he’s quarterbacking the power play, stage-directing before face offs. But Jared doesn’t know if it’s Bryce’s reputation preceding him or what, but the way they seriously pay attention to what Stevie has to say, to Gabe, Bryce doesn’t get that.
Thankfully that doesn’t extend to the team: they start listening to Bryce almost straight away, on the ice and off it. Jared thinks Gabe had something to do with that, letting everyone know Bullet has a good eye, that he’s worth listening to, but it probably would have happened even if Gabe hadn’t said a thing. This isn’t Calgary, nobody’s tuning him out, assuming the only things he knows about are scoring goals, picking up women, and taking bad penalties.
Bryce’s linemates are the first ones to notice, unsurprisingly. Usually where the first line goes, so too goes the team, and the Canucks are no exception. It’s only a handful of practices before Bryce is sticking around after the coaches leave, staying on the ice to give dudes pointers, give them a little extra practice on the things they need to work on.
It means Jared has to stick around a little longer, and Gabe too, if they’re carpooling, but Gabe claims not to mind, and whenever Jared gets impatient, he just has to think about how Bryce ran him through almost every single exercise before the combine, rented private ice time when Jared was getting too into his own head.
It’d be selfish, not wanting his teammates to get that too. And, far more importantly, it'd be completely counterproductive. It makes Bryce happy too, and Jared’s always going to be a sucker for that, though, thankfully, Bryce never seems to realise quite how big a sucker he is.
But in the final regular season stretch, Jared swears he can see it click, all at once, and suddenly Bryce is getting pulled aside by Coach, waved over to serious conversations with the team vets, Rutger leaning down to intently listen whenever Bryce turns to tell him something mid-game.
“Coach told me I should consider a career behind the bench after I retire,” Bryce says when they get home after one particularly long post-practice conversation.
He sounds a little stunned, like it’s something he never considered before, which is kind of funny, considering he was technically supposed to be one when he met Jared.
Jared would have laughed his ass off at the idea of Bryce coaching back then — and he did — but now?
Well, maybe he wouldn't be the best head coach, because Jared can see Bryce getting his ass thrown out of the game after losing it on the refs — he’s almost done it a few times as a player. He can see him being loved by his players, the kind of coach they’d run through walls for, but he can’t so much see him handling the disciplinary side of things, or delivering the bad news of roster re-assignments, scratches, which goalie’s in, which is out.
Not that he couldn't do it — Jared’s sure he could — but he’s equally sure that shit would stick with him at the end of the night, get in his head, follow him home. He’s too nice to be a head coach.
Jared’s not saying head coaches have to be assholes, except — maybe he is, a little. All of Jared’s best coaches were dudes he’d never be friends with, and that’s probably part of it. Better to be feared than loved, right? That’s Machiavelli, Jared thinks. Dude had some solid points, reputation aside.
But assistant coach, well — Jared can see that. Bryce running the power play, maybe, or special teams in general — he may not play on the PK, but that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t run a good kill. Or maybe be the coach that takes the lead on player development, the friendly one checking in how the rookies are doing and if anyone’s dealing with shit off the ice, helping them grow as players.
“Huh,” Jared says.
Bryce gives him a curious look.
“You would, you know,” Jared says.
“You think so?” Bryce says.
“I really do,” Jared says. He doesn’t know why Bryce lights up at that, when he’s just been told the same thing by someone who knows a hell of a lot more than Jared does, but he accepts the grateful kiss that comes his way. He hasn’t earned it or anything, but he’ll take it anyway. He always will.
*
SO: So I think it’s safe to say you’re both big fans of Bryce Marcus. BF: I know we’ve spent most of this interview singing his praises, but he deserves it. We’re lucky to have him. Delighted to have him back. LR: I think most people respect his hands, and his shot, but I don’t think very many people have realised what a keen mind for strategy he has. I’ll be the first to admit that I didn’t realise until he was playing for me. BF: In hindsight, it might have been a better idea to let them stay in the dark on that one. (Laughter) LR: Maybe. But I think anyone paying enough attention will figure it out sooner rather than later. I think he’s going to make a lot of people eat their words. BF: I'm looking forward to that moment. LR: Me too. -After Hours, feat. Vancouver Canucks Coach Landon Rutger and General Manager Brian Foster

Tumblr media
You’re woken by the feel of something soft tickling the tip of your nose. You lean away and glare up through half-lidded eyes at the perpetrator. Gabriel, who is lounging beside you in nothing but his vest and boxers. Angels typically don't sleep, so they often find themselves trying to kill time. When there isn't an imminent threat or apocalypse on the horizon anyway.
Castiel patrols the bunker like a guard dog, watching its residents (mainly Dean) sleep. Michael lets Adam sleep to give him that sense of human normality. You weren’t really sure how that worked, but you assumed he found some kind of respite in it.
Gabe, however, despite being able to go anywhere and conjure anything with anyone, liked to set up shop for the night in your room, where he would binge-watch TV and get pastry crumbs all over your comforter.
“Quit it.” You mutter before shutting your eyes again and nuzzling back into your pillow.
“You quit is.” He responds, following your nose with his finger. “You’re too loud. Nick is trying to cheer up Jess after she broke up with her boyfriend at the holiday party, and you’re snoring right over it.”
“Ugh.” You reach up to bat his hand away, and he briefly retreats. With your eyes closed, you don’t realise he’s simply relocating his attack before it’s too late.
You kick and flail at him desperately, crying out for him to stop, but it’s no use, damn his archangel strength. You’re at his mercy until he lets you go. When he eventually subsides, you shove him away, and he plays along, rolling back to his side of the bed. “You’re the worst.”
“Nah, you love me really, sugar.” He replies, opening his arms wide and grinning at you.
You feign a glare before following his lead and crawling into his arms. With the snap of his fingers, he rewinds the TV, and you slowly fall back asleep under the gentle feel of him stroking your back.
Tumblr media
“Hey, I don’t care what or who you do in the privacy of your own room, but could you keep it down? A man needs his sleep.”
You blink at Dean over your morning coffee. The caffeine must not have kicked in yet because there is no way he just said what he said. “What?”
“Don’t make me say it.” He shrugs at you, exasperated, as he pours his own coffee.
“Say what?” You push, irritated by the implication.
“You and Gabriel. You know….”
“No! I don’t know!” You stand from the breakfast table, too charged to sit still but too engaged to leave. “Nothing is going on between me and Gabriel. We’re just friends.”
The expression on Dean's face shows that he doesn’t believe a word out of your mouth. “The way you two look at each other. Nah, there’s nothing “friendly” about it.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” You rack your brain, trying to recall how you look at him and how he looks at you, but fail to find anything not ‘friendly’ about it. Sure, he was handsome, fun, and easy to be around, but that doesn’t mean anything. “How do we—I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
The sound of wings fluttering makes you jump. Gabriel now sits opposite your spot at the table, and you can’t help but look at him now to examine his honey-tinted hazel eyes; they were beautiful. But they weren’t looking at you differently than you’d expect. Shit, were you looking at him funny? Like you wanted him?
Your skin tingled with embarrassment, and you forced yourself to sit back down and look away from him.
“Friends?” Dean wiggles his brows at you as he swiftly exits. Dropping a spanner in your brain's inner workings and exiting stage left. Asshole.
“What was that about?” Gabriel asks as he leans over to take your coffee. He sips, scrunches his lips, and proceeds to add an unholy amount of sugar. Old habits die hard. When you spend too long contemplating he nudges at you. “Hey, what’s up, hon?”
Hon. You’d never batted an eyelid at that or any other pet name he’d given you since becoming friends. So why was it making you feel funny now?
“Nothing.” You assure him as you stand once again and begin heading to the door. “I gotta go, I’ve got… stuff to do.”
“You want some company?” He swings around on the bench, ready to follow.
“No! No, thank you.” You shake your head as you leave without another word.
Tumblr media
You didn’t see him again for a while, having taken off to hunt a pack of werewolves a few states over. You couldn’t deny that Dean had shaken something inside you. The fact that your instinctive response was to protest so adamantly was your first clue. The distance had given you time to clear your head. Enjoying someone’s presence and appearance didn’t mean you had to pursue anything more. He is your friend, and that’s all you need. You weren’t going to mess with the balance.
That’s what you told yourself as you entered your room to find Gabe inside. He’d clearly been making use of the space while you were gone. The trashcan was overflowing with empty candy wrappers, the bed was unmade, and a puddle of something fruity smelling seeped out from under your bedside table. One would think he didn’t have the power to clean all that up in a second. You might have complained, had you not also noticed that your laundry basket was empty, and your desk had been organised precisely the way you liked it. Priorities.
“You’re back!” He smiled as he crossed the room and engulfed you in a hug. He smelled warm and inviting, like mocha and malted sugar. Had he always smelled so good? You wondered as you melted into him. So engulfed, you almost missed the subtle way he sniffed in your own scent. You couldn’t help but hope he liked it. You’re not sure how long you stayed like that before Gabriel broke the silence. “Come on, get ready. The circus is in town.”
“The circus? Really?” You groaned as he released you. “I’m tired, I just want to chill.”
“You can chill later. We'll have a good time, I promise.”
“Why do you even want to go?” You ask as you dump your travel bag on the floor and dramatically collapse onto your bed. Trying to emphasise your tiredness.
“Why don’t you?” Gabriel approaches, standing over you and looking down at you sternly.
“Ummm, the crowds,” you lift your arm into the air, lining your hand up with his face as you count the reasons with your fingers: “the loud noises, the clowns…”
“I’ve seen your dating history.” Gabe bats your hand down before pointing an accusatory finger at you. “You love clowns.”
Usually, you would have laughed. That was a classic comeback, but he would almost certainly take your laughter as a victory, so you force a straight face and push back any creeping notions that maybe he was jealous of your exes.
“How long have you been on earth?” You ask him, readying your next argument. He shrugs, and you can sense his amused interest in where you’re going with this. “You could go to any circus, anytime, anywhere. Who gives a shit about some two-bit, washed-up roadside circus?”
You wonder briefly if you might subconsciously be comparing yourself to the circus. He’s an angel, after all, an archangel. Of all the beings on earth, why does he choose to spend so much time with you? Again, you shut down the thought process before it gets away from you.
Gabriel is looking down at you, brows furrowed. Instead of answering your question, he crosses his arms and asks, “Jeez honey, what bit you in the ass?”
“A werewolf.” You reply deadpan.
“Seriously?” He tilts his head, and you notice how his eyes wander down your body. He can’t see your ass from his position, but you’re pretty sure he’s trying. The thought makes you feel flushed.
“No.” Playfully, you kick your leg at him until he gives way, allowing you space to stand and face him. “Okay, fine, but you’re paying.”
Tumblr media
As you watch the trapeze artists flying across the tent, you admit to yourself that you were, in fact, having a good time. The acts were good, the clowns weren’t that scary, and the atmosphere was lively. Everything smelt like popcorn, and the stands weren’t as sticky as you’d feared.
You glance over at Gabriel, who is on his third cotton candy cone (you are totally not jealous of his metabolism). You could never confess to having a good time; he’d never let it go. Besides, if the smug side-eye he's giving you is any indication, he already knew.
“Want some?” He offers you the cotton candy, and you can’t stop from grinning as you lean over. Your fingers brush against his as you steady the cone to take a piece, and your cheeks start to warm up.
The candy is sweet on your tongue, and you let your smile grow to show your approval. Gabe laughs in response. You begin to shift back to your seat, but you’re stopped by the feel of his warm hand on your lower back, tenderly holding you close to him as he quietly speaks. “You have got to stop looking at me like that.”
Your eyes widen, and you must look like a deer in the headlights because he’s laughing again. Laughing at you, is he teasing you.
“Looking at you like what?” Your voice is quiet, nothing like it had been when Dean accused you of the same thing.
“Like…” He tilts his head back briefly, searching for the correct words. “Like you want me, in the biblical sense.”
If your eyes weren’t about to pop out before, they were now.
“Tell me I’m wrong.” He continues, now tilting his head forward until his face is almost pressed to yours. He’s been this close before, closer, in fact, so why was your breath hitching now? “Tell me to stop, and we’ll forget this ever happened.”
Maybe you should have slowed to think about it, although your answer likely would have been the same. You answer quickly, instinctively. “Don’t stop.”
Clowns and acrobats forgotten, you initiate the kiss before you talk yourself out of it. His lips are soft and sickeningly sweet, his stubble itches at your skin, but you immediately want more.
Sensing your neediness, Gabriel pulls your body closer and deepens the kiss. You’re about to open your mouth, to try for more access, but the sound of someone deliberately coughing distracts you both.
Your heads turn simultaneously to see a rather unimpressed mother glaring at you, and you both laugh in response.
“Wanna get out of here?” He quirks his head to the exit, and you nod. He holds your hand and follows close behind as you lead the way, down the stalls, outside the tent. As soon as you’re free from prying eyes he flies you back home. The perks of having an angel best friend, a boyfriend, a lover, a something who still has their wings. It only takes a second, but it still gives you a brief stint of motion sickness. When you’re steady on your feet again, you look over to Gabriel, suddenly feeling shy and unsure how to proceed.
He’s smiling at you, but it doesn’t quite reach his eyes. It’s a smile entirely for your benefit. “If you’ve changed your mind, we don’t have to do anything.”
“No. No, I haven’t.” You assure him, reaching out and gently holding onto his upper arm as you step closer until you’re chest to chest. “I want this. I guess I just didn’t realise until... very recently.”
“Yeah.” The cheery glint in his eye returns. “I want you too.”
You initiate the kiss again, enjoying the now familiar sugariness of his mouth. This time he deepens the kiss without disruption, then your tongue brushes against his for the first time he lets out an involuntary moan that makes your brain go fuzzy.
When you pull away to breathe, you watch his expression. Clearly aware of your stare, he darts his eyes over to the bed, then back at you, and gives his brows a suggestive wiggle. “Shall we?”

Archangel anon again! Here for those extended Gabriel headcanons. Okay! Gabriel's the messenger of heaven, so i imagine that it's his's responsibility to convey messages between heaven and hell. That makes Gabe the only sibling Lucifer has been allowed to have simi-consistent contact with since his fall. They're not allowed to have long, deep conversations, but they do try to catch up a tiny bit. I see Gabe as a trickster with a heart of gold. Seemingly a charismatic goofball who takes very little seriously. A fast-talking, smooth-talking, ALWAYS talking jokester who can make you want to tear your hair out one second, then charm the pants off you the next. He's the best liar of the family, incredibly good at playing dumb despite actually being quite cunning, strategic, and above all else, PETTY. He is very protective of his siblings, especially Lucifer nowadays (side-effect of being the only sibling allowed to talk to him) and can hold a grudge like no ones business.
But, the main reason I wanted to give special attention to Gabe is because of his patronage. As I was doing research on Gabriel I made a delightful discovery ripe with potential. Remember how I said Gabriel is the patron of communication services? Well another way to phrase it would be he holds patronage over all forms of transmitting information from point A to point B. This includes telecommunications that transmit information through electrical means. Such as telegraph, telephone, internet, and broadcasting. ALL forms of broadcasting. Including both television AND RADIO.😃😃😃
Do you see? Do you see the abundance of potential that I see?? Gabriel is the Patron Archangel of both TV AND RADIO. He holds dominion over
TV AND RADIO
I cannot begin to describe the joy I felt when I made that discovery! Instantly got the brain buzzing.
Alastor and Gabriel have the capacity for either becoming instant best friends or instant enemies and I can't decide which one I like more... Oh who am I kidding, it's enemies. Imagine Gabriel is visiting Lucifer and Charlie and he inevitably buts heads with Alastor. Either Alastor says something snide about Gabe himself, or maybe Lucifer. Meanwhile, Gabe has gone uncharacteristically quiet and just stares at Al for a long moment. Then, an unreadable smile slowly forms on his face and he laughs good-naturedly, slapping Alastor on the back a BIT too hard but otherwise just says "You got me there, buddy" before sauntering away.
But the next morning, Alastor tries to enter his radio tower to do his morning show, only to find the door is locked tight and there's some kind of powerful ward keeping him from shadow-porting in. Then, every radio in hell suddenly comes alive as none other than Gabriel's loud, bombastic voice comes pouring enthusiastically from the speakers.
Gabriel has redefined the term "pirate radio" by not only hijacking Alastor's radio tower, but also literally every radio in hell. And worse, he's turned Al's show into one of those "zany" morning-zoo radio shows. The kind of shows thar are more annoying than funny that always play on the radio on your way to work or school? I imagine Alastor considers those shows a perversion of his medium. And as the cherry on top, Gabe refuses to relinquish control back to Alastor calls in (the number is 1 777 3625, that's 1 777 DMBK🤭) and apologizes ON AIR for all of hell to hear.🤣🤣🤣
You know what, I'm kind of with Alastor on this one.
If someone messed with my passion like that, I would never apologize. I would double down. I'd never stop pushing those buttons, consequences be damned. You want me to say sorry? Nah, bitch, how about you stop being a wuss?
LOL I think Alastor would take a megaphone, plop himself on a rooftop (or just roam the streets) and do his broadcast like that. He'd find himself a soapbox to stand on. You know, the old fashioned way. I mean, depending on if Alastor can control radiowaves, he might be able to hijack one of the speakers he set up all over Hell. He'd pick a new one every day, and diss on ol' Gabe. He'd go into how Heaven keeps repressing the sinners of Hell, first it was the Extermination, and now Heaven's silencing their voices. When will the tyranny end? How long will they put up with this??
LOL Idk now that I'm thinking about it, the idea of Alastor starting a revolution against Heaven purely out of spite is incredibly funny and I love it.
(Also that is really interesting about Gabriel patron of communication 👀 that has so much potential)

Will Smith x MC Isabella
This is just the intro to something beautiful and amazing.
Bell met Will through Gabe. She never noticed him before, and neither did he to her. She was just Isabella to everyone else, but only the most important people to her got to call her Bell. Gabe has known her and her family since they were little. She and her family moved to America when she was six, and Gabe was the only guy willing to talk to the new kid. He stuck up for her when kids would make fun of her accent or the traditional Filipino food her mom would make for her. The platonic fondness was mutual and her family was happy that she made a friend that accepted her for who she was.
Now Gabe had tried to get Bell to attend a BC game since they arrive there. He pushed her to apply so they could go to the same school (didn't take much convincing when he told her they had a good dance program and there was a little cafe near the school she could work at) and since he got the schedule for the mens hockey team he's been pushing for her to go.
"Come on Bells you've never seen me play before" Perreault would whine.
"I literally watched you play in high school" she quipped putting on her ballet shoes.
"That was high school hockey. This is COLLEGE hockey. Two different things" he said pointedly.
His whining got the best of her, and here she sits in Conte Forum, waiting for the game to start with her BC attire on. Since she started working at the cafe a few blocks from the school, she made a deal with Gabe to bring him a scone for the good seats. Of course, he obliged.
They were still practicing when she first arrived and she waited by the locker room with two warm strawberry scones waiting for him.
"HEY ISABELLA!" yelled Gabe from the other end of the hallway. He was accompanied by two other tall guys, his teammates when he saw her. He knew to call her Isabella when other people were present.
"Keep your voice down! I brought the stuff, now where are my tickets?" She asked scoping the surrounding area.
"What is this, an illegal drop-off?" asked one of the guys. The other just stood quietly, staring at Bell. Not in a creep way but a longing sort of way. His gaze then focused on the scones in her hand.
"Nah, she brings me food from that cafe near the forum. Genuine I think it's called."
I hand the scones over to Gabe and just stare awkwardly as he takes a bite and makes that satisfied sigh he always does when he eats one. The other two boys eye him, annoyed, as they want some too.
"Nope, these are mine," he couldn't get the words out before all three start fighting over the two scones.
"ALEX GIVE ME MY DAMN SCONES!"
"LEARN TO SHARE YOU PIG!"
In the end, Gabe got one and 'Alex' got the other, leaving the blonde boy looking sad. "I'll bring you one tomorrow. None for those two." she says pointing at the two boys stuffing their face.
Leaning close, she whispers, "I'll sneak you some if you want so that you don't have to fight over one." He stiffened up when Bell got closer to him. She noticed this and was glad that he didn't move away. She also saw a red tint on the tips of his earlobes. "You don't have to do that" he muttered.
"Please. I owe it to you since I'm friends with those dummies too. I don't even know your name either. I maybe can get you a discount in the cafe."
"His names Will. Will Smith. Nowhere near as cool as the actor though" muttered Alex with a mouth full of scone.
"Well, Will, good luck at your practice, and I promise next time I see you, you will have any dessert or drink from the store. Scouts honor," says Bell, making a cross over her heart.
When she turned to walk out she didn't know the conversation that these three boys would have later in the locker room to suit up for practice.
"Hey, Isabella, your friend," said Will to Gabe sitting to his left, "the cafe, do you know her usual hours?"
"She's part time on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Times vary around her classes and dance practice-."
"When are her dance practices?"
Gabe starts to catch on to his friends questions and can't help the wolfish smile growing on his face. "You like her don't you?"
"No, she just seems cool and I want to get to know her better."
"Sure, man, sure. Just ask her next time you see her," says Gabe before walking out of the locker room to head to the ice. Will couldn't stop thinking about Bell and what he could've said to her. He could've asked her about her schedule or even her socials. Gabe's gonna be too much of an ass to tell him, so he'll have to muster up the courage next time. For now, he'll have to think about her smelling of coffee grounds and caramel and hope he doesn't bust his ass on the ice.

Clementine x gn!reader
Part 1
Author's note: I wanted to write a short Clementine oneshot for myself but it turned into a 4k fic(for now). I felt that it would be a shame to leave a story that long for just me to read so I decided to post it here. I'm not a professional and wrote it just for fun so it's probably messy, also tried to make the reader gender neutral. English is not my first language so sorry for all the mistakes.
Since it's so long (and ending is in writing) I will post it in maybe two or three parts.
Warnings: Swearing and spoilers for season 3 and season 4
Word count: 1325
Tumblr media
I don't remember much from when the apocalypse started.
It was just a normal week. Eating breakfast, watching cartoons, and playing with my best friend.
I would give anything for it all to go back to the way it used to be.
But then again, it's been 9 years since it started. I don't think it's gonna end anytime soon. Maybe it was destined to happen. Like the stone era, ice age...
Or maybe I'm just saying that to make myself feel better. A hope that it will all go back to normal. Where you don't see people eating, killing, and betraying each other.
That's all we have left in this fucked up world.
Hope.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
"Can you remind me again why I'm going?"
It was too late for this shit.
Everyone let out a tired sigh.
"What? Do you think I know the way to this mysterious place or something?"
"Didn't you say that you used to visit someone in West Virginia? You can help us find our way around there." David said.
"Well yeah, my uncle but how the fuck does that help? I don't suppose your friends now live in my uncle's house do they?" (Name) sassed at him.
Javier placed a map in front of them.
"Do you at least know the area or a town that you used to go to?"
(Name) took a look at the map. They couldn't remember what the city was called but maybe if they saw a name it could refresh their memory.
"Here." They point to Morgantown "He wasn't from there but I remember we went there with him."
Javier nodded. "Ok, so we go to Morgantown, then find the river from there and follow it until it leads us to the school."
"Can someone please explain what's happening and why we're going to a school by the river?" (Name) asked while yawning.
"And why Gabe's going with us?"
Gabe gave them a side glare.
"I got some info from people we captured. Asked for some information about their community, 'The Delta'.
They told us most of their soldiers are kids who were stolen and trained." Javier began.
"What kind of a sick fuck would do that?" Kate shook her head.
"We were also told one of their lieutenants was having trouble with a community that consists of teenagers. Said she got defeated by them but is planning on attacking them again with more soldiers." Javier explained.
David took over. "We know the communities leader and owe her so we thought we could go there and see what's the situation. If needed we could get more backup and help them." (Name) hummed and looked at Gabe for explanation.
"Gabe wants to go because when this leader was here he had a huge crush on her," Kate added.
They looked at Gabe and awed.
"That's so cute." "Fuck off."
They chuckled and looked at Javi "So when are we going?"
"Tomorrow morning, as soon as the sun rises. It's a long journey." Tripp finally spoke up.
"And who else is going?"
"David and me, Gabe, you, and Tripp," Javi says. "Ava is gonna lead with Kate while we're gone."
(Name) sighed. "Well okay then. I'm going back to bed to prepare for tomorrow. Wake me up in the morning will you?"
"Maybe we'll forget to." Gabe said.
They chuckled "Nah, I wanna annoy you during the trip so I'll be sure to wake up. Good night everyone."
They said their good nights and went back to planning for tomorrow's trip.
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
As soon as the sun rose, the group was up on their feet, getting everything they needed and preparing to leave.
Javier gave instructions to Kate and Ava and with that, the group set out on the road. It was gonna be a long trip.
Tripp did the math and said that they should arrive there in 5 days, including all the stops they make.
(Name) wasn't pleased with that information. Hearing Gabe whine for 5 days wasn't exactly how they intended to spend their time.
But then again they owed Javi. He accepted them into their community and his family when they had nobody.
They can't say no to him.
Plus it would be nice to meet the kids who managed to beat 'the Delta' lieutenants' ass on their own. They must be so cool.
(Name) wasn't exactly a skilled fighter. They mostly ran and hid, trying not to engage any Muertos. David did teach them how to handle a gun but that was it. No way they could fight a Delta army.
They were snapped out of their thoughts by...Gabe's whining.
"It's going to take us 5 days to get there?!" (Name) groaned.
Tripp looked at him. "Look kid, if you're going to complain all the time you can go back."
"I agree with Tripp. Why don't you go back Gabe." They smirked at him.
"No way! I wanna see Clementine!"
Clementine huh? That name sounds familiar...oh right!
"Aww, her name is Clementine? Are you gonna serenade her when we get there?"
"That is actually a great idea (Name). You could woo her with your singing talents Gabe." David said sarcastically.
He rolled his eyes at his dad's teasing.
"Yeah, come on I'll even help you practice."
They cleared their throat.
"Oh my darling, oh my darling, oh my darling Clementine~" Everyone chuckled while Gabe was looking at them unamused.
"You are lost and gone forever, dreadful sorry, Clementine~"
•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
5 days passed pretty quickly.
(Name) tried to keep everyone entertained and messed with Gabe the whole time so it wasn't dull.
It was important for him to be prepared to sing his heart out.
Luckily the group didn't encounter many Muertos along the way. Few single ones here or there, and some tiny groups.
They thought it was the perfect time to throw in a dad joke.
"Hey, guys why do Muertos group in three? Because they can't even."
Only Gabe didn't laugh so (Name) felt accomplished.
When they arrived in Morgantown (Name) couldn't believe the state it was in. It was unrecognizable. They quickly passed it, avoiding Muertos, and went on their way to find the river.
When they did find it, (Name) suggested they take a small break. They took their chance and threw Gabe in it, much to his dislike.
They followed the smaller river that split into the forest because Javi said the soldiers mentioned the school was in the forest so luckily they were going in the right direction.
Now it was (Name) who whined.
"I hope we're close. My ass hurts." They pouted.
"Who is whining now?" "At least I'm whining after 5 days. You whined after like, few hours, so please, shut up."
They kept bickering until David shushed them. "Be quiet."
The group fell silent. Then a gunshot fired.
"EVERYONE DOWN!"
They all got down from the horses and hid behind trees.
(Name) took their gun out. This sucked.
"I would surrender if I were you. You're outnumbered." A male voice shouted.
"And let you kill us? No way." David shouted back.
"Have it your way then."
Multiple shots were being fired. (Name)'s head was ringing from them, not used to it.
"(Name) get the horses! Follow the river and send backup!"
They nodded and whistled. Horses were still spooked by the gunshots.
They took a deep breath and made a run for it.
They didn't get far when they felt a sharp pain in their abdomen.
(Name) quickly put their hands on the spot that burned and dropped to their knees. Their head was ringing.
They couldn't hear anything but muffled voices and loud gunshots.
Someone was shaking them and then they felt someone pick them up. Their eyes felt so heavy, it was too hard to open them so they didn't. They felt tired.
(Name) knew they probably shouldn't, but the pain was unbearable, so they let sleep take over.

Trying this out by writing about my Cookie Run Werewolf AU (I dont have a name yet, soon I hope). Just seeing it would be fair.
Everyone in the photo are listed in the pack, with White Lily being the lader.
Keep in mind, Human names are used in this Au. Ypu got a question, feel free to ask!
Here we go!
“C’mon Gabe, keep up!!”  Arthur said, with a grin, running through a forest, a white haired boy following him. He was covered head to toe in mud.
Wait up, Dad! “ The kid said, laughing.
Nah buddy, if you want to be the fastest, keep running!” He said.
They soon ran up to a 2 story cabin that sat in a small clearing in the woods, where a light blonde in twin braids stood there. The two ran up to the porch where the kid placed a hand on the stair railing.
“I win!!” Gabriel said triumphantly, falling on his butt to catch their breath.
“Phew! Good job, Gabriel! Got doing a workout…” The man said, handing on his knee as he can feel his heart practically beat out of his chest.
“You’re late, Arthur. .” The blonde woman said, looking at the dirty blonde with her usual annoyed stare. “Its past evening. You know better than to your pup running around this late.
“Sorry, April. Me and Gabe got distracted while visiting the border. We this awesome mud pool and couldnt help but try it out.”
“Mud bath!!” Gabe said, throwing his arms up, mud splatting onto the porch. The woman named April shook her head.
She sighed. “ Go inside and clean up. That means you too, Arthur.”
“Hehehe, Okay. C’mon little buddy!” Arthur said, leading his son inside. Beatrice was sitting in the living room on the couch, reading a book. She hid a smile under her book as she saw the two walk in. “You all visited the mud holes on the way back, didnt you?’ She asked.
“I'm getting faster this time, Mama!!” Gabriel said excitedly, seeing Arthur walk up to the couch.
“Yup, Gabe beat me here. 2nd time this week!!” Arthur said, trying to lean in for a kiss on the cheek, but Beatrice held her book up to his face.
“Oh no, you’re not kissing me while dirty with Vidalia on my lap.” The noir haired woman said, pointing to the baby on her chest. They were holding a stuffed rabbit as big as them. “I heard April. Upstairs, both of you.”
“Awww, Bea…” Arthur said as he led his son upstairs.
Two more people soon come inside. A tall grey-haired man with a smaller woman who was carrying a crossbow on her back.
Have you seen Leader Pandora?” Ashton asked, bringing a deer he and Bethany caught that afternoon.
“She’s visiting the Valley today, trading some of the vegetables for some of the pack’s honey.” Beatrice spoke up.
“Clemont and Lillian went with her.” April said, shutting the door behind her. Mei-Mei and Kina had just come back, carrying bags of stuff.
“Got it.” Ashton said. He slung the deer over his shoulder, heading downstairs to the basement to break it up.
“We’re back~” Kina announced through the house.
“What in the world have you got in there?” Bethany asked, raising an eyebrow. “Don't tell me you haven't another clothes donation box.”
“Oh don't be silly, Bethl! This time we went through one at a thrift store!!” Kina said, soon dumping the bag on the table. It was full of baby clothes. “Pick whatever you like, Beatrice!”
Mei-Mei giggled, clinging to her mother. She was excited to help.
Beatrice looks through the clothes, holding them up to her pup to see if it would fit or not. She soon came across a purple nightgown, with a matching headband.
“This one.” She said, setting it aside.
“Awesome! I’ve found some great stuff. I even found a dress for April.” Kina said, holding up a light blue one.
“ I have no need for it.” Aprill said flatly, She rarely left the forest anyways, except for important things.
Oh Cmon!!” KIna replied. “It will be fun! Besides, you gotta at least have something nice in youe wardrobe. You dont wanna be-”
Soon there was howling in the distance, making everyone look up.
“Leader is back!!” Mei-Mei said, running outside.
April immediately goes out to the porch, seeing her sister and relatives walk up to the house.
April walked over to the trio, greeting them by resting their forehead and nose together, a custom in their pack.
“How did everything go?” She asked.
Pandora smiled, holding up a basket. “Yes. we got three jars of honey.”She said. “Is the rest of the pack awake?”
“Yes, they are.” April replied.
“Tell everyone to come outside. Pack Meeting now.”
April nodded, showing heading back inside.
After 10 minutes, the entire pack was out of the porch, mostly the adults. The pups, except for the newborn Vidalia, were told to stay inside. Pandora stood in front of them, smiling a little.
“Good evening everyone.” She said. “As you know, this month’s Full Moon meeting will be starting in less than a week. We will be having our summer games there too.”
The group cheered, Bethany and Arthur high-fiving each other. They were in last year’s foot race against Winter Mountain's pack members. Hopefully they win this time.
“This time Arielle is going down,”Bethany said with a grin. I’ve been training all year!”
“Heck yeah! But I heard they got a new member last month.” Arthur added on.”  I fear for Ashton during the tug of war competition.”
Ashton shrugged. “I just like to participate.”
Pandora laughed. “ Also, my daughter Liliian is turning 17 soon. Her first hunt is soon, but it will also be held at Unity Lake, where the Full Moon meeting is being held.”
“Nervous, Lil?” Clemont asked his sister, nudging her.
“Kinda, but you and April did it so it shouldn’t be too hard.” LIllian said.
“Nah kid, you got this. You get to hunt your first deer. Always a rush.” Arthur spoke up.
“Will it be a competition?” Beatrice asked Pandora.
“No. It will be our own thing while we’re there.” She answered. "One more thing. We seem to have run out of salmon and bass in the meat box. Would someone like to run to Half-Cresent River and trade with them? Raise your hand, I need two people..”
“I can go.” Kina said, raising her hand.
“I will as well.” Beatrice said, raising hers.
“Nah, Bea, Vidalia isn't even teething yet. I can go.” Arthur spoke up.
“I’ve been in the house for 3 months since our pup has been birthed. You watch her this time.”
“But-”
Arthur……” Beatrice growled, glaring at him.
“Alrighty then.” Arthur said, feeling her mate’s glare burn his skin. He didn’t want to argue.
“Alright so, Beatrice and Kina will head to Half Crescent River.” Pandora said. “Well. that’s all that needs to be discussed for now. Talk to me if you have any questions. I guess I can call this meeting done for now. You are all dismissed.”
Hope you guys liked it.
Dont worry, random shenangians are still happening, not changing that. Just wanted to try something that wasnt me just placing comics here (still like doing that, its fun.)

Episode 6 wahoo, I am ready for extreme pain rivalling and exceeding the end of OFMD
Battery operated candles! He learned fire safety, good job Mr. Fell
Aziraphale knows so much about human history and books and humanity, but he still understands so little about them
Bees
Crowley what is that walk 🤣
YES MAGGIE girlboss them
Oh no she invited them oh no Maggie oh no
Poor Eric
ANGEL CROWLEY HISTORY ANGST HEHEHEHUHUE "Throne or a dominion, or above"
Let's goooo magic heaven telephone circle!
That's the opposite of the Lil Nas X Call me by your Name video
He said "Nah"
Ohhh Crowley's snake tattoo in gold, gorgeous
Surely she's down to like 10 demons now after they all got discorporated?
The fire extinguishers stock 🤣 part of me is remembering the library of Alexandria comic and also 4dango's Haikaveh angst but I will just pretend those thoughts do not exist
"Jolly well hurry up about it" where's that gun you have a license for when you need it?
What if holy water fire extinguishers
This institutional problem bit is a metaphor for something but my after work brain cells are not enough to figure it out
The Metatron... The Master... I see you BBC
They're so surprised he has a desk lol
So Gabriel's plan was actually pretty decent then, he just didn't tag in the people who were part of it. And I'm still hanging onto Beelzebub having similar sentiments of dissatisfaction with the wishing for positive words of affirmation in hell
The Metatron went "ok good luck with Gabriel, his disappearance is your problem not mine"
IS HE UNLEASHING HIS TRUE FORM
Oh my god it's a ringlight frisbee
Rip Eric again
Crowley just falls into a leadership position, natural girlboss ✨ meanwhile his husband starts a war but we can ignore that
The way his smirk turns on hehehe
So everyone's an idiot then
I like how Nina and Maggie are just chilling in the background
The fly is bigger on the inside? Or is he going to eat it like All Might's hair
Eyyy Beel face explanation! Also Gabriel x Beelzebub canon we love to see it
So Beelzebub said they liked the song and then Gabe inexplicably made it play forever then?
Ah no it was intentional ;) He miracled the jukebox to play their song
When the fly showed up in the first episode I KNEW it would have an important role. I got faked out with Beel showing up in Crowley's car though.
"Silly silly angel" bro??? Have you been hanging out with Crowley too much
So all the leadership are traitors LMAO, also Crowley and Zira in the back watching their bosses do what they forbid them from doing all this time.
"I found something that mattered more to me than choosing sides" INEFFABLE HUSBANDS DID IT FIRST
Crowley's proud little smile watching Aziraphale handle the host of heaven and hell like kindergarteners :)
Oh my god Beelzbriel are so cringe, I love it
Ohhhh so Shax took Crowley's flat, that makes sense why she has all his mail now hahahaha
LOL is that The Metatron in the coffee line?
Crowley knows where everything in the bookshop goes and is putting it all back 😌
So Nina calls Maggie "Angel" now too, eh?
Muriel my baby I will protect you with all my heart
NO THEY'RE GONNA GET OFMDed
It's even worse they're gonna get Destieled aren't they
But Aziraphale wasn't THERE when any of the heaven people showed their true colours!!! Crowley sees heaven and hell for what they are but Aziraphale still believes in inherent good 😭
NOOO CROWLEY IS GOING TO GET CASTIELED DON'T DO THIS TO ME
Can I also just say, David Tennant's acting holy shit, the super subtle facial changes, the shaking throat, my GOD
All he's wanted was to go off together with his angel all this time!!!! AHHHH
the fuck do you mean NOTHING LASTS FOREVER? YOU'RE BETTER THAN THIS AZIRAPHALE COME ON
the put the glasses back on FUCK
You don't get it Aziraphale, you don't Understand 😭 He needs you too!! But it has to be on both your terms not just yours,,, meet him where he stands! It's been so long surely you know him better than this
NO NIGHTINGALES
oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god oh my god
yeah I saw the kiss I'm not ok
the fuck do you mean I FORGIVE YOU???!!! This hurts more than destiel and blackbonnet
LMAO Muriel in the window watching all this go down
what was he going to say before The Metatron walked out, was he going to change his mind??? What did he want to take with him, PLEASE
THE SECOND COMING? I've read the bible I'm raised religious I know what the fuck that means, Aziraphale PLEASE tell me you've read enough books to know what that means and that it's NOT GOOD for your little life and your husband and your book shop 😭
Oh ok his face fell. there is still time. change your mind, goddammit don't ignore Crowley he is looking at you disapprovingly for a reason, USE YOUR HEAD! please.
Crowley bared his heart just to get betrayed right after, this is his superhell
The Bentley with her sense of humour, girlie why are you playing Nightingale in Berkeley Square now of all times
THE SAD VIOLIN CREDITS DON'T DO THIS TO ME
Why did he smile at the end, what does it all mean,,, Amazon better pay their employees I need season 3

We Were Always Going to End Up Together - Ch 5
Suptober 22, Day 5: A Perfect Disaster
On AO3: https://archiveofourown.org/works/42237885/chapters/106611369
(Or read from the beginning: https://archiveofourown.org/works/42237885/chapters/106051008)
Dean couldn’t believe he wasn’t anxious. He was plenty nervous, but it felt like champagne bubbles rising through his system instead of soul-strangling doubt. He’d taken care to pay more attention to how he dressed to go to the Roadhouse than he’d ever done before, inspecting himself in the mirror long enough that he laughed at himself before heading out. He’d picked the soft green Henley to bring out his eyes a little, over a white tshirt that just poked out. Slim fit (but not too tight!) jeans with his favorite still-looked-nice-enough boots and he knew he looked good. He wished he’d replaced his old leather coat, but made do with his everyday canvas one. It would be warm inside anyway, so it wouldn’t be on long.
‘If Dean played his cards right, maybe none of his clothes would stay on that long,’ a little voice snickered in the back of his head at the thought. A guy could dream.
He got to the Roadhouse early, mostly to avoid a chance that his happy nerves could turn into an anxiety spiral while waiting for the time to pass. Jo was working tonight, which was nice because he appreciated a friendly face, but also annoying as she would immediately clock that he was there for a date and she would be merciless. A little sister type, she was a blessing and a curse all rolled into a perky but violent blonde package.
“Hey Dean, who’s the lucky one tonight? Or are you just hoping it’ll be you?”
“I’m always lucky to be eating Ellen’s food,” Dean teased back.
“Well Mom will be happy you still know how to kiss up to her.”
“Do you want to drag her out here to say hi?”
“Nah, she’ll come around later maybe. Besides, you don’t want your date to get the wrong idea.” Jo grabbed a couple of menus and started leading Dean back towards the nicer booths. “After all, they might think you’re likable or something.”
“Yeah, yeah. Just remember that I pay your tip.”
“Oh please. Either your date pays, and tips me well or you tip me well. No way you want to risk looking like a cheapskate on a first date.” Dean frowned at her back as she sashayed away. He hated when she got the last word. His expression changed to a grin as he saw Castiel walk through the doorway.
Apparently Dean wasn’t the only one who was early for things. He stood up and caught Castiel’s eye.
“Hey Cas,” started Dean, suddenly a little shy.
“Dean?”
“Yeah, Cas?”
“What are you…”
Dean felt his face flush pink as his happy nervous bubbles curdled in his belly. “Didn’t we have a date?” Dean managed to force out.
Cas sighed deeply and looked at the floor.
Dean wondered if he could just melt through the floor. Worse, this might even be bad enough that Jo would be nice to him. “I mean, your text…”
“Sorry, Dean. I…I didn’t know I was meeting you here.”
Dean’s flush deepened and he thought his whole head might actually catch on fire. “It’s fine, man. No harm, no foul.” Dean thought he might be sick all over his favorite boots.
“Dean, wait.”
Dean met earnest blue eyes and wished even harder he could disappear.
“This was Gabe’s doing. He thinks I don’t have a life and he must have taken my phone and asked you out. I’m so sorry for the misunderstanding.”
“It’s cool, Cas,” said Dean, desperately shutting down his disappointment and putting on his impersonal, charming face.
“No. I might kill my cousin, and he should never have done this without my knowledge.”
“Yeah, definitely a dick move. But really, it’s okay. I’m sorry you came out and all for a joke.” Dean was trying to figure out how to get out of this conversation so he could drown his sorrows a little and then go home and lick his wounds.
“But you wanted to go out with me?”
Dean blinked in surprise. “Wouldn’t have said yes if I didn’t.”
“I mean. Are you sure you knew it was dinner with me?”
Dean smiled a little at that. “Of course with you. Not every day that a gorgeous scarecrow asks me out.”
It was Castiel’s turn to blush as he rubbed the back of his neck. In a voice so low and quiet Dean almost couldn’t make out the words Cas mumbled, “Do you want to stay and have dinner with me?”
Dean’s smile was softer, “Yeah man. We’re both here and I’m definitely interested if you are.” Dean gave him what he hoped came across as an encouraging look.
Castiel’s smile was small but bright.
They took seats on either side of the booth, both a little shy and not sure what to say. Dean met Castiel’s eyes and huffed a small laugh. “So Gabe’s your cousin?”
“Yes. And he’s very irritating.”
“Is it so bad having dinner with me?”
“No, I’m sorry. I’m not very good at this.”
“Having dinner?”
“Talking to good-looking men.”
Dean drew a breath in at the sincerity in Cas’ gaze. “Seems like you’re doing ok.”
“What can I get you two?”
Dean tried not to glare at Jo’s interruption.
“Your usual, Dean?”
“Sure, Jo.”
“And for you?”
“I’ll have whatever he’s having.”
“Alright. Be back in a minute.”
“What if I ordered a shitty IPA?”
“Then I guess I’ll have to suffer through the experience.”
Dean laughed, enjoying the adorable mix of awkward and deadpan funny.
They chatted about how Dean knew Jo until Jo dropped off their beers and took their orders and left them alone with a wink to Dean.
“So what do you do when you aren’t hanging around corn mazes?”
“Not much, really.”
“Does scarecrow really pay that well?”
“No, I just am in between jobs right now. I own the farm that the maze is on.”
“So you decided to go all in on that?”
“It was Gabe’s idea. He talked me into performing there too.”
“So what you’re saying is that we only met because your cousin is a busybody who tries to micromanage your life?”
“He thinks I’m lonely.”
Dean paused. “Are you?”
“I find people to be difficult in a social setting.”
“People are just people man. Most of us don’t bite.” Dean smiled wolfishly, hoping a little bit of his own desire shone through.
“I understand people better when we have a mutual purpose.”
“Such as…”
“At the maze, I’m trying to scare them. At a job, I am trying to get my work done and so are they, so that helps facilitate the relationship. When I am a customer, interacting with the cashier has a practical structure. It’s easier when I know what both sides of the equation are expecting.”
“And when there’s a cute boy you are suddenly having dinner with?”
“I hope I don’t scare him off because I’m not sure what to say. There’s no script for this.”
Dean’s heart melted a little at the wistful vulnerability he could read in the other man’s face. “Well, we’re talking just fine here. And I know everyone has always told me I have more words than most so you can always just get me started and I’ll carry the conversation for awhile.”
“I think I’m doing okay.”
“So far so good. In fact, I think that you have avoided any possible disaster tonight.”
“There’s still time. I could still manage to knock and entire plate of food onto your lap or accidentally insult your life’s work.”
“Well, let’s try to avoid all that, but even if those things happened I think we’d be fine. Once we got the awkward part out of the way, I’d say it’s been perfect.”
Cas smiled shyly at Dean, raising his beer slightly, blue eyes shining. “Then here’s to our perfect disaster.”
Dean felt his smile stretch wide as he gently clinked his bottle against Cas’.

"𝓢𝓱𝓸𝔀 𝓶𝓮 𝓪 𝓹𝓲𝓮𝓬𝓮 𝓸𝓯 𝔂𝓸𝓾𝓻 𝓱𝓮𝓪𝓻𝓽."
Tumblr media
Whirlwind – that was the one word for us, Gabe always said ‘when you know you know.’ He was the anchor, the security in the fact that everything would be okay, that I was safe with him. He not only understood my fears but also soothed them, and I fell impossibly deeper in love with him. All too soon I graduated, I admit ever since I lost my parents I didn’t feel like celebrating, even with him by my side there was a hole in my heart where they should have been, at my side watching my lifelong dream come too. Without them the day felt trivial, almost pointless. Again Gabe stood firm in his belief my success’ deserved to be recognised, and the moment he gave me my first gift of that day I knew I was with someone completely special. A locket with photos of my parents inside… My heart broke and healed all at once, and I knew I was never going to let this man go, my fears vanished just like the tears he brushed away from my cheeks. As if whisking me away to Disney World wasn’t enough, this incredible man of mine proposed! Can you believe it? I couldn’t, but I didn’t hesitate for a second, he was mine just as much as I was his. Yes, many girls dream of some big flashy proposal, but me – nah. It was perfect to me, unplanned, unrehearsed, and purely from the heart. It was all I could ever want and more. Which nicely leads me to the current situation, I knew it was happening and yet I was still unsure. I’d barely been able to eat the past couple of days as my stomach churned with nervous butterflies, I’d done all I could even redecorating our spare room. But what if it wasn’t enough? What if she still found me disagreeable? Maybe I wasn’t what she had hoped for a sister-in-law, or maybe just maybe it was all down to the way we met… Picture this, you arrive home all loved up and still on a high from our last-minute decision to marry in Florida, and horny as hell to christen your home as a wedded couple and boom!! There was a strange woman in your home who clearly knows your husband. Fucking right my heart sunk in that instant, hell before Gabe had even uttered a word (carrying me over the threshold by the way) as my mind had made up many scenarios, from wife to fuckbuddy and beyond. This wasn’t right, he was mine! So okay, I’m an overthinker and prone to panic and think the worst. This ‘wife’ was actually his sister Isabella, who equally appeared unamused to see me, and that stance remained for her short awkward time with us. I couldn’t help but imagine this visit to go equally as bad, and no matter how much Gabe reassured me, I couldn’t shift this knot in my stomach. She was his family; she was important to him. I had to try and mend any bridges and fix any first impressions, if not for me, for him. There wasn’t much I wouldn’t do for him. But right now I was regretting having that late lunch after work, I had walked Loki and paced around so much the poor pup had fallen asleep snuggled up to me protectively as I aimlessly flicked through the channels. Maybe I should have gone with him to the airport to pick her up? Then I wouldn’t be sat here like a spare part, but I wanted them to have time alone, especially after last time. My family meant everything to me, and although I knew Gabe wasn’t particularly close to his, I still felt my Mammy’s influence wash over me. Mentally checking everything off, everything was clean and ready, no visible traces of any extracurricular activities, fresh food, and snacks. God what if I picked up something she hates? This was going to crash and burn, and I actually found myself well up with panicked sniffles, I needed to suck it up and make this work, after all I had faced a lot worse. Like my ex-fiancé cock sucking ex best friend. I digress… A sister would be simple, right?

You were currently at your best friend’s birthday party, polishing off your third overfull glass of wine. Your best friend threw her hands above her head, shouting out “Shots on me!” She thrusted a shot glass in your hand, encouraging you to toss back the liquid. You set down your wine glass, picking up the smaller cup, not caring about the flashing cameras around you.
“I’m so glad you were able to get free from your oh so lavish lifestyle as a celebrity to come hang out with little ‘ol me!” She had to continue to shout for you to hear her over the loud music blasting through the club speakers. She grabbed your arm, pulling you towards the bathrooms. “Are you getting ready to go? The sound system is giving me a headache.” You smiled at her, grabbing your phone from your clutch.
“Absolutely, babes. Let me order the Uber and then we can go.” You held onto your phone tighter, walking up to the bar to settle your tab. “Hey, Gabe!” Gabe, one of the bartenders, turned to you.
“Hey, Y/N!” He went to grab a bottle of your favorite wine to uncork it, but stopped when you held your hand up.
“Just settling up and heading out.” You passed your black AmEx card over the counter to his waiting hand.
“You’re missin’ out, Y/N. The party is just getting started here.” You shook your head at the man.
“Nah, I’m celebrating my best friend’s birthday tonight, so this is her call.” He slid your card back to you, watching you push it into the slots of your clutch. “We’re getting outta here, but that doesn’t mean our party is ending.” You winked at him, meeting up with your companion. You linked arms with her, leading the way through the crowd. It was cold outside, which didn’t mean good things for you because of your almost too short dress. The Uber stopped beside the curb, rolling their window down for you to double check. You climbed in beside your friend, scooting closer to increase your warmth. The ride to your apartment wasn’t too long, thankfully because Uber’s creeped you out, no matter how safe you were.
Walking into your apartment was difficult to say the least. You both were stumbling the entire way to the elevator and then stumbling into your couch cushions. The two of you managed to make it to your bedroom, swapping out your tight garments for some more ill fitting attire. That was not before you took an absurd amount of photos together in your bathroom mirror. You sat across from each other on the black couch in your apartment, sifting through the pictures of the two of you. Your best friend was leaned over your shoulder, watching as you scrolled through.
“Oo! That one!” She pointed at the screen quickly, stopping your scrolling. It was of you holding the phone, leaning backward staring at the phone in your hand. Your best friend was facing you, her bare back displayed from the deep dip in the back of her dress. “We look so hot.” You both shared a look and then burst into a fit of laughter. You posted the picture to your Instagram, tagging your best friend in the corner, wishing her a happy birthday. She slid away from your, covering her lower half with a blanket.
“You want a water?” You asked as you rose from your spot on the couch. She smiled big at you.
“Can I convince you to mix up some margaritas?” Her bottom lip rolled inwards, waiting for  your response. You rolled your eyes, shaking your head before opening your liquor cabinet. You pulled down bottles of triple sec and tequila, reaching into your freezer for the bag of strawberries and limeade. You brought your Ninja Bullet out to make individual margaritas for both you and your drunk friend. Walking back over to her with containers in hand, you plopped opposite her on the couch.
“You’re literally the bestest ever.” She slurped on the drink through her swirly straw. The conversation faded between the two of you, allowing the both of you to go through your socials. “Did you see that Lizzo got a message back from Chris Evans the other day?” You laughed at her question, remembering your reaction to Lizzo’s TikTok.
“Mhm. Can you imagine getting a reply back from one of those hunks of men?” She shook her head while guzzling her margarita.
“I can’t, but I bet you can.” You scrunch your brows at her and she groaned. “You’re a celebrity too, dumbass. Girl, the amount of times that I’ve gotta remind you of that is insane.” You laughed at her, rolling your eyes.
“Babes, just because I’m quote, unquote famous, doesn’t mean that I’m on their level.” She pointed a finger at you.
“Hey, just shoot your shot, Y/N.”
“I literally don’t even know which one I would DM.” Your best friend scoffed loudly.
“Bullshit!” You choked at how loud she yelled. “You don’t know who you would DM? I know who you would DM in a fucking heartbeat.” You looked over at her with raised brows and in unison you said. “Sebastian Stan.” “Sebastian Stan.”
“Mm, he is a six foot tall Romanian God.” You shook your head while fake moaning, your friend laughing in the background. She reached for your phone before you could protest, typing away on your keyboard, smiling mischievously. She thrust the phone back into your hands, the empty DM screen of imsebastianstan on Instagram staring back at you.
“All you gotta do is send something.” She smiled at you while you glanced down at your phone screen nervously. You began typing something quickly then locked the screen, placing it facing downward on your lap, a giggly smile resting on your face. She scooted closer to you, folding her legs up to her chin. “Wait! What did you say?” You unlocked your phone, showing her the screen. She laughed at your message, drinking the rest of her margarita.
y/n.y/l/n: hi, i’m y/n and you’re the love of my life ;) <3
“That’s so fucking good, oh my God.” She glanced at the clock on your phone. “Oh girl, we’ve gotta go to sleep.” You checked it as well, dropping your head into your hands.
“Mhm, you’re right.” You stood from your spot, holding your hand out to your friend to help her up. “Let’s go to sleep.” You both crashed on your king sized mattress underneath your white fluffy duvet. You were about to drift off to sleep, when your best friend’s voice floated into your ears.
“Do you think he’s gonna reply to you?” Her voice was slurring more and more from the amount she drank and the sleep weighing on her mind. You smiled at her, it was a long shot that he would even see it, much less reply.
“We’ll have to see, babes.” She didn’t reply to you as you both fell off into a dreamless abyss.
********************
The sun streaming into your room woke you up in the morning, light hitting your eyelid just right. You blinked harshly, bringing your hand up to block the glare. A groan escaped your lips, stretching out from your best friends grip. “Fuck me.” You held your head in your hand, groaning about the headache blossoming at the nape of your neck. You left the bed, pulling a sweater over your tank top to catch some warmth. You tucked your phone into the waistband of your shorts. You padded into the kitchen, grabbing your Advil bottle, dumping two pills into your hand. You got a glass of water, settling down on the couch after gulping down the headache medicine.
You opened your phone while basically inhaling your water. Your memories of last night were fuzzy, you drank quite a bit. Did you drink too much? Maybe… but did you regret it at all? Not a second of it. You had the best time hanging out with your best friend. You check your Instagram post, replying to several different comments. A red bubble was pinned over your DM button in the corner. You tilted your head in curiosity, wondering who messaged you now. You swiped over, eyes widening at the new message.
imsebastianstan: Hi, Y/N. I’m Sebastian, thank you for professing your love to me.
The feeling of panic running through your veins didn’t last long, A gigantic smile spread accompanied by a giggle. What the fuck do you do now? Your fingers hesitated over the keyboard, thinking through what you want to say back.
y/n.y/l/n: hello sebastian, what do ya say we  figure out if it’s a match :)
You sent the message before you could chicken out, locking the phone shortly after, shoving it in your waistband. You got up, refilling your glass of water, leaning against your granite countertop, tapping your fingers impatiently. You squealed as you felt your phone vibrate in your pocket.
imsebastianstan: What do you have in mind?
y/n.y/l/n: 917-555-0545 <3
Oh my god, you can’t believe you just did that. Holy shit, what are you thinking? Maybe this will all work out in your favor. You really had nothing to lose but your dignity, right? A disturbance in the peace to the right of your caught your attention.
“Why the hell are you up so early? We drank last night, that’s an excuse to sleep in, you fuck baffoon.” Her hair was tousled on top of her head, shirt hanging off one shoulder. You turned your phone around, thrusting it towards her face.
“There’s been recent developments on the Stan front.” Her brows raised, face becoming shocked.
“Oh. My. God. Are you fucking serious?” She snatched the phone away from your hand quickly to scroll through the messages. “You gave him your number?” She yelled at you as she stretched across the couch, laying her head in your lap. Your phone buzzed in her hands and her eyes widened to unbelievable proportions. “Bitch, you just got a text from an unsaved number.”
“Shut the fuck up.” You looked at the phone in her hands. “I didn’t think he was actually going to text me, I sent it as a joke! What’s it say?”
“How are we going to figure this out?” You both shared a look, shrieking enthusiastically. “Y/N! Sebastian Stan texted you!” She jumped up and down on your couch, pulling you up with her.
“What do I say back?” You held the phone against your chest, staring expectantly at your best friend. She shook her head at you.
“Nuh-uh girl. This is all you.” She held her hands up in surrender. You looked down at your keyboard, the blinking cursor waiting for instructions.
“Okay, okay, how ‘bout, ‘discuss over coffee?’” You looked at your best friend for approval, still standing on your couch. You sent the message after she nodded. A message bubble popped up, three blinking dots inside.
There’s a coffee shop on 8th street,  just outside of Washington State Park.
wanna meet up around three?
I’ll be there, Y/N.
You turned to your best friend, holding the phone to your chest. “Babes.” She raised her brows, waiting. “I have a fucking date with Sebastian Stan!” You both squealed, excited for what would happen on your date.

[Warning: emotional abuse]
I really didn't need more reasons to not ship Percabeth, but the more I think about it the more disturbing things I notice. And I relate too much to them to be okay with them. Let's go over this. [Disclaimer: this post is not supposed to be proof that Percabeth is abusive or anything, that has already been talked about. This is just some of my musings. DON'T clown and if you aren't okay with Percabeth crit scroll past. Block the anti tag. Whatever.]
Percy doesn't argue with Annabeth's wishes because it's not worth the trouble. [See the end of this post.] The only examples I can find right now are
... I gave myself a four out of five. Annabeth made a face. ‘You’re being generous.’ [...] ‘Three out of five,’ Annabeth said. I knew better than to argue, so we moved along. (TLO, Chapter 4)
And
‘So,’ she said, ‘are you going to argue about me coming along?’
‘Nah. You’d just beat me up.’ (TLO, Chapter 14)
But bear with me. He goes along what she wants because he knows she won't listen and it's easier to comply. It doesn't seem like much, but it's the worst possible way of being compromising and it's literally how you pave your way into a draining relationship. Believe me, I know.
You don't say anything because arguing is tiring and doesn't accomplish much. You go along with what they want. Maybe you even tell yourself that relationships require compromise. It doesn't occur to you that you're always the one compromising. And then, when you realise they have breached your boundaries and your autonomy is near non existent now, it's too late and there's almost no way out.
It's not a big deal on its own, just one of the subtler signs of imbalance. So yeah, that's exhibit 1. Moving on.
Like @/luke-x-percy has said here, Annabeth always acts like Percy is beneath her, on what grounds, exactly? What reason does she have of thinking she is superior?
She constantly criticizes him, beginning with 'you drool when you sleep'. (I'm too lazy to find the rest of the quotes now. Sorry.) She always finds something to criticize him on, like when he saved her and Grover from Crusty and she was like 'be faster next time' or when they were paired together in botl and Percy was excited and she said 'your armour is crooked.'
Not to mention all the times she calls him stupid. Everyone always calls him stupid until he just internalizes it. He believes he is stupid and no one ever tells him otherwise. And it's so messed up, it breaks my heart? And Annabeth actively reinforces this idea all the time.
This is also not a big deal on its own and may even be read as joking or bickering, but it's a control strategy. Chipping away at your self esteem until you think you don't deserve better than what they can give you and you don't question their treatment of you. In actual abuse language it's also a way of saying 'you're lucky to have me because no one else would want you.' And we all know Annabeth is controlling.
And when you add that to the fact that Percy's self esteem is already non existent, it's despicable that she does it. Here's the thing: Percy believes all the bad things he hears about himself because that's all he hears. He would never prioritise himself or set boundaries because he doesn't know when he deserves better. He was abused and bullied for the better part of his childhood and grew up with an absent father and Gabe of all people for a stepfather. It's safe to say his ideas of relationships are not the healthiest or the best for him.
I mean. If Percy were real I would worry for him. Like I said, his self esteem is non existent and he has no idea how healthy relationships work. And he doesn't know how to prioritise himself. He doesn't know it's an option. And that makes him very easy to be manipulated by a 'I love you so you can't complain when I treat you like shit' kind of abuser. At least he's fictional and I can just ship him with Rachel because I want good things for him.
Speaking of Rachel, I'm never going to stop quoting this because this about sums up why Perachel is healthier than Percabeth:
I can't pretend I hadn't thought about Rachel. She was so much easier to be around than ... Well, than some other girls I knew. I didn't have to work hard, or watch what I said, or wrack my brain trying to figure out what she was thinking. Rachel didn’t hide much. She let you know how she felt. (TLO, Chapter 1)
Rachel is easy to be around, unlike Annabeth ‘I will never make things easy for you’ Chase. She openly communicates with Percy. Green flags. And part of the reason I like Perachel is that Rachel is a mortal and she can give Percy normalcy, the thing he craves most.
I don't think Annabeth would ever understand Percy's need for normalcy. She literally sought out a quest and uses 'mortal' as an insult, at least with Rachel. They are too different. Like this post says (6th point), there are opposites and there are polar opposites. Percy and Annabeth work together only to an extent, but not to the extent that they would work as life partners. They butt heads too much for that.
Anyway. That’s all my incoherent thoughts for now. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Let’s pretend that Mary is here to add to the *spice* Also major fluff alert. So terribly fluffy endings that they could be a danger to society. Except for the last one. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. Also let me know if I should write more stuff with multiple endings because this was super fun.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Imagine dating Dean when Gabriel comes back, and going to stay with Lucifer.
Dean and Y/N were currently having the biggest fight of their relationship. “I still love him Dean! I can’t help it! I thought he was dead okay?! I assumed after he went radio silent he was dead not kidnapped by a Kentucky fried douche bag!”
“Oh! Oh! That’s even better! You knew that Lucifer didn’t kill him and you didn’t think to tell us?!”
“I was protecting him you ass! He would have really died if everyone knew he was still alive!”
“Well, what now, then, huh? I was a fucking distraction from all of your baggage wasn’t I?!”
“Like I wasn’t?! You have so much fucking baggage, it adds on an extra fifty pounds!”
“Well? What about now, Y/N? Even if I’m absolutely pissed at you, I’m still and love with you, and I’ll take a wild guess from when he tried to kiss you and say that he’s still in love with you too, so now what?”
“I’m staying somewhere else for awhile, Dean. I can’t stand being here okay? I love you. You know that, but everything is just so complicated right now and I can’t deal with it.”
“Where are you going?”
“I’m going to stay with Lucifer okay? And don’t tell me that it’s dangerous and he’s an asshole and I can’t because I don’t have anywhere to go. I’m out of options, D.”
“So what? You would rather have a sleepover with the devil than stay here?!”
“Yes okay?! And this is why! I can’t deal with the way you’re being right now! …Look, i don’t have enough energy to fight anymore. Let Gabe know where I went, and just so you know, we’re on a break.”
Dean sadly watched as she walked out of the bunker with her duffel bag on her shoulder. “On a break?” He muttered to himself.
As soon as the bunker door slammed shut, Sam walked out from his room, where he had been hiding. He put an arm around his older brother. “It’ll be okay, Dean.”
“Will it really? Because she’s going to stay with yet another archangel that she, although I don’t have proof, most likely had feelings for, and the other one is staying with us.”
“Oh yeah yeah. Cry all you want, Winchester. You think I’m not upset that she’s staying with my brother who tried to kill me?” Gabriel asked.
“Is all this really necessary? I think we should probably just let Y/N do what she wants, and not fight. She is a responsible adult, and she can make her own decisions.” Castiel chimed in.
“Oh shut up!” Dean and Gabriel said in unison.
“By the way asshole, thanks to you, me and Y/N are on a break!”
“Oh don’t blame me for that Dean-o. You did that on your own. Y/N likes to make her own decisions, and you trying to make them for her? Yeah that was not working out too well. Clearly the only reason she really left was to show that she still had control over her own life.”
“Clearly, she left because your both being completely immature grade a douchebags, who, frankly, no one wants to be around, so shut up, or get a room!” Sam exploded.
They both put their hands up in surrender. “If you really want to know what really happened with Lucifer, I’ve recently come into possession of a super top secret diary of a certain loveable hunter.”
Mary walked in on the conversation. “Don’t you two dare. Just because she left does not mean you get to just take anything from her room.”
Dean and Gabriel both shrugged and sat down at the table. Gabriel began flipping through the pages to find the right date. “Here it is. This is after I went radio silent. You said that she started hanging around with Lucifer three years after my ‘death’ correct?” Dean nodded.
“”Dear Jenny,” Wow she named her diary. Whatever that’s beside the point.
“Dear Jenny,
I definitely made somewhat of a mistake today. Well, I wouldn’t call it that, but I know that the Winchesters would. I, well, I made out with Lucifer last night.
I think I’m in love with him, but then, there’s Dean. I’m starting to think he kind of had a thing for me? But then again, it’s Dean, he probably just wants to hook up or something.
You know, for some reason, I always liked the villains more. I think it might be because, most of the time, they aren’t using a girl. They love her. They’d get down on their knees for her. They’d die for her and do anything for her, and she’d always be their queen. I don’t know maybe I’m delusional.
What would Gabe say though? There’s no doubt in my mind that I will always be in love with him, dead or alive. If I ever got the chance to be with him again, I know that I would choose him, over anyone, Dean and Lucifer included. He is, well was, the light in my darkness, and I know that I‘ll never forget him.” Gabriel closed the diary. He glanced at Dean, trying to subtly study his face. He was clearly upset, and oddly enough, Gabe comforted him.
“Hey, cheer up, okay Dean-o. Let’s look at a further entry. Her feeling about you probably changed.”
They flipped further. It was an entry from last year.
“Dear Jenny,
I almost died today. There was a nest of vampires, and I went in on my own. I feel so stupid. Scratch that. I am stupid. I was lucky, so goddamn lucky.
Dean saved me. I felt really dumb. I hate being the damsel in distress. I was hoping that by going in there, I would take them out on my own and show Dean that I don’t need protection.
He has enogh to worry about, and he is always worrying about me. If anything ever happened to Dean, I don’t know what I’d do.
I know in past entries, things I said were so different, but we’re together now. Things are so different, and I love him so much.
He is my light…in the darkness.” Gabriel trailed off on the last part.
“You make her happy Dean. She’s yours now.”
“No. You made her just as happy, and besides, it’s her decision now. For all we know, she’ll end up with Satan.”
About, a week passed and Y/N was finally home. As soon as she walked in the door, everyone could tell how drained she was. She looked like she hadn’t slept in years.
“Hi.” She gave a weak smile to no one in particular. Now was not a time to play favorites. Then again, maybe it was.
Dean- “So, as you guys know, I’ve been MIA for a week, so I’ve had lots of time to think, and I know what I want. I know that you both probably don’t even want me at this point, but, Dean I love you. I want to be with you, and it was stupid for me to just up and leave. That one week was a living hell without you. Side note, that was a horrible metaphor for me to use.”
Dean pulled her into a tight hug, and buried his face in her hair. “Don’t ever leave me alone with Gabriel and Sam ever again. I know mom and Cas are here, but no one can stop them from arguing constantly but you.” Y/N laughed a little bit.
“I promise that I’ll never leave you ever again. I uh, I bought something while I was gone.” She pulled something small out of her pocket.
“Look, I know that this is kind of untraditional, but that’s who I am. Dean for as long as I’ve known you, you never even thought about a serious relationship, until you asked me out. Like everyone we have had ups and downs, but at the end of the day, I love you and you love me. With this life, you have no idea what’s going to happen next, so I guess what I’m trying to say is, Dean Winchester, will you marry me?”
“Hell yeah! Of course. I’m just sorry you beat me to it. Before our fight, I had this whole romantic thing planned out and-“ Y/N hushed him.
“I don’t want a bunch of rose petals. You’re more than enough for me.”
Gabriel- “Um…Mary can I talk to you?” Mary nodded and followed Y/N to a separate room.
“So, I know Dean is your son, but you’re my best friend and I feel like you’re the only person I can talk to. This may not be what you want to hear, but I’m still-“
“In love with Gabriel. I know n/n. Just let Dean down easy okay? You know how he is with these things. He’s not going to get over it overnight.”
Y/N pulled her into a hug. “Thanks, Mary.”
“Now why don’t you go shower and then talk to Gabe.” Y/N nodded and went up to her room then headed to her personal bathroom.
When she got done, she walked out to her laid out clothes and almost had a heart attack. Of course he would be waiting on her.
“You know, I feel like I already know the answer to this, but do you think I could get dressed before we talk or?”
“Nah. It’s not in my programming to do that.” Y/N grabbed her laid out clothes.
“In that case, I’ll be right back.” She said heading to the bathroom once more. When she walked back out, she sat next to him on the edge of her bed.
“So…” Y/N trialed off, nervously tapping her fingers against her thigh.
“Y/N, I know you aren’t very good at confrontation and stuff like that, but you have a decision to make, and no matter what, Dean and I have both agreed to respect that, even if that choice is neither of us.”
“Gabe, I’ve already made a choice. I made a choice a long time ago. I love you. Even through the years nothing has changed the fact that I love you. You were the first guy, or archangel rather, that I fell in love with, and I want you to be the last.”
“That was the most incredibly sweet and cheesy thing you have ever said to me.”
“Oh shut up, you love me.”
“You know it, sugar.”
Lucifer- “Look, I’m not staying here anymore. I know that might be kind of hard for you guys to process, but I know what I want now, and what I want is not anywhere near this bunker, so to save us all the heartache, I’m packing my stuff up and heading out of here.” She quickly ran up to her room.
“Lucifer.” Gabriel and Dean said annoyedly at the same time.
“You guys don’t know that. Maybe she just needs time on her own.” Sam said.
“Uh... yeah no.” They all turned around, then simultaneously groaned in disgust and annoyance.
“Oh come on. Don’t give me that. I’m a delight to be around. Ask Y/N.” Lucifer stated with a cocky smirk on his face.
Mary scoffed. “You’re a self righteous asshole. I don’t know why she finds any part of you attractive.”
Y/N came downstairs carrying like five bags, and rolled her eyes. “I go upstairs for five minutes and you guys are already fighting. Look, I’m leaving okay! I can’t be here right now! So, just at least let me go peacefully.”
“Is this what your mother would have wanted?” Cas stopped her. Y/N whipped around, and dropped the bags she was holding.
“Don’t talk about my mother! She died saving your sorry ass, so screw you!” Seconds later, they were gone.
“Maybe she’s right. Maybe he is different.” Mary suggested.
“Or maybe she’s blinded like she always has been.” Dean scoffed.

“The Savior Sessions” Part 33 of 33 - Negan x GN!Reader
Tumblr media
SERIES MASTERLIST
Summary: Beta makes his final move against the survivors as the group prepares for the final showdown against the Whisperers and our story comes to an end.
Word Count: 4971
Warning: Swearing, Violence, Blood
Song I Wrote To: “Sanctuary” by Welshly Arms
Note: THANK YOU. That is all I can really say. I have never written something this long and I am forever grateful for the handful of you that have stuck with it for all these months. Happy TWD 10c premiere and I can’t wait to write even more for you though I may need a break for a bit! I hope you also listen to the song for this chapter, I think it fully encapsulates the relationship between Negan and the reader! ALL OFFICIAL DIALOG IS PROPERTY OF AMC
————-
They say that Death rode on a pale horse as Hell followed behind, but they had never considered that Hell was with them all along and that they were only waiting for someone to swing the sword.
Your sword hung on your hip as the rumbling sound of the Dead crashed over you in waves. From the tower window, it looked as if the ground was alive with insects rather than crumbling bones and rotting flesh.
As soon as Gabriel sounded the alarm, you and Negan went off to help where you still could. Michonne was frantically searching for Judith who had run out after her uncle in hopes of helping. She only began to relax after Daryl had gotten through to her to tell her that they were on their way back to the tower.
They also had Kelly and Carol with them.
Gabriel was running around with blankets, extra weapons, and ever extra bottles of water for those he would be moving out of the tower as the herd got closer. You were starting to feel a bit out of sorts. You had been waiting for this moment since Beta had singled you out in the clearing during the fair and yet, you didn’t know if you were ready to face him for the last time, but you had to be.
At this point, it was either him or you.
The Walkers were a big problem, but then there were the Whisperers that moved within the herd. There was no way to properly single them out without wasting long-distance ammo. These were the days that you missed the armory back in Alexandria.
The only guns in the group were Gabriel’s shotgun and Rick’s colt python in which Judith carried. It wasn’t enough and you knew that. The only hope that any of you had was that Michonne and Gabriel’s plan of diverting the horde would stand up.
When Daryl and the others returned, Gabriel explained what he wanted to do.
“Is that even going to work?” you asked as you stood in the hallway.
“It’s the only thing we’ve got,” Gabriel said. “If we can get the stereos working and lead the horde away, it may be the only thing capable of drawing away this large of herd.”
“What about the Whisperers in the herd?” Kelly asked. “Isn’t their whole thing herding the Dead towards a certain area?”
“Negan said that it’s more complicated than that,” you said. “It’s not an exact science. If they try to force the Walkers, they start to become more aware of the Living among them. It never ends well.”
“Meaning what?” Carol asked.
“Meaning I don’t like our odds,” Michonne said.
“Neither do I,” you agreed.
“It’s either this or we wait to be slaughtered,” Gabriel said. “And considering we got kids in here, I don’t like that idea at all.”
“Of course not,” Michonne said. “Okay, so we get to the wagons on the outskirts and we get them hooked up, then what? Where do we take them?”
“We can figure that out once we get them away from the tower,” you said. “Beta isn’t going to stop until we are all dead. He can’t take on all of us at once so he’s using his Walkers. This may be the only opportunity that we have to get to him.”
“Beta is not the only enemy out there,” Carol said.
“That’s rich coming from you,” you shot back and Daryl got between the two of you.
“Easy,” he warned. “We are not going to get anything done by fighting among ourselves. Gabriel is right, we have to get to the wagons.”
“We have to get through that horde before we do anything,” you said.
“We’ve done it before,” Daryl said and you quickly realized what he meant as did the others. Michonne made a face of disgust along with your own.
“Well, this isn’t going to be pleasant at all,” you said.
“Never is,” Michonne added, “but we gotta do it.” Frowning down at Paul’s coat, you sighed.
“Fine, someone find us some Walkers,” you said, “and make them extra bloody.”
--------
“Have I told you yet that I hate this plan,” Negan said as you finished strapping your knives to your thighs and storing more in your coat.
“Many times,” you said with a sigh.
“And yet, you’re going through with it,” he said.
“Like Gabe said, we don’t have many other options,” you said, turning to him. “Unless you know if any RPG’s just happen to be in this very building with useable ammunition.”
“Afraid not,” Negan said with a frown.
“Then it looks like we are shit out of luck, honey,” you said as you double-checked your weapon on your hip. “I know you’re worried about me, but I have to do this and so do you.”
“Nah,” Negan said, disagreeing. “I’m not exactly an invisible force when it comes to these assholes. I’ll stick out too much, you’re going to have to do this part without me.”
You knew he was right. There was no doubt that Beta had found Alpha’s head and knew that Negan was the last one to be with her. While Beta still wanted to kill you, right now, Negan was number one on his kill list. You were just hoping that he would be too distracted with his own vengeance to recognize yours. If you could keep hold of even an ounce of surprise, then this would be a whole lot easier.
“I get it,” you said. “I don’t like it, but I do understand.”
“Thanks,” he said. You then pulled him in for a harsh kiss, putting all your passion into it. If this was the last time you held him like that, then you were going to make it count. Pulling back, you stared into his eyes, eager to see that fire. When you did, you gave him a half-smile.
“Now or never, big man,” you said. “Are you with me?”
“Damn right,” he said before pressing a kiss to your forehead. He then pushed you back towards the main hallway where you were supposed to meet Daryl in order to don your Walker disguise. As you walked away, he felt as if you were taking a part of him with you and he prayed that part would be enough to keep you safe.
----------
“Our plan is the same,” Gabriel said as Negan listened at the side. “Lead the horde away, just not from Oceanside as we had planned. Once the Walkers are clear, we evacuate to Rendezvous Point B. Luke, We ready?” Gabriel asked Luke who was standing next to Jules.
“Yeah, yeah. Uh, technically,” Luke said with an attempt at a reassuring smile. “Okay. So, these are the final pieces that we need to connect to the wagon. But in order for it to do the pied piper thing that we need it to do over the cliff, we gotta get from A to B, and I gotta plug and plug,” he said.
“And then we should be good to go?”  Kelly asked.
“Hopefully,” Luke said.
“That wagon is on the other side of the horde,” Beatrice said.
“Which is why we have these,” Daryl grunted as he and Jerry dragged in two extra-large Walkers into the foyer of the tower.
“Oh man, this is just wrong,” Luke said.
“But it works,” Gabriel said. “Trust me, I know.” Negan smirked at that, remembering that time he and Gabriel had done the guts trick to get back into the Sanctuary. That time felt like another lifetime ago now that he was thinking about it.
Negan stepped away from the group temporarily, heading to one of the vacant watchpoints. His eyes scanned the horde for Beta, but he couldn’t see the man amongst his Dead. If Beta was out there, he was staying out of sight for a reason. Negan never pegged the man as one who would lead the army. He was more of a free agent when it came to taking orders from his Alpha. However, now with Alpha gone, it seemed as if the Beta had finally taken command of the pack.
It wasn’t very reassuring.
Negan had seen some large hordes since this had all started. He had even told you about a particular one that scared the hell out of him. Negan didn’t think a tow truck would be able to get through this one even if it had a flame thrower attached to it. Michonne was right, he didn’t like their odds either.
Taking one last look, Negan turned away and headed back into the fold.
As he neared the main area of the fighters who were waiting to go out, he noticed you, soaked in Walker blood, trying not to gag. If it was any other scenario, he would think it was adorable.
It was a moment later that Daryl noticed Negan.
“Hey,” Daryl called, approaching Negan, “why you clean?”
“I ain't goin’,” Negan declared.
“You've done this more than any of us,” Daryl said. “How the hell is this any different?”
“I am on the tip-top of every skins' kill list. Especially Fee Fi Fo asshole. So, if the idea is to get through without drawing a shitload of attention, then I am the last person these people want standing next to them,” Negan said, not liking the idea of more of these people dying because of him.
“That's a bunch of bullshit,” Daryl said, shaking his head. “You wanna be a part of this? You gotta put your ass on the line just like everybody else and (Y/N) needs you by their side.”
“They understand,”  Negan said.
“Do they?” Daryl scoffed.
“Yeah, I do,” you said as you approached. “I thought we could do this together, but we can’t. At least, not this part.” Negan nodded, agreeing with you.
“We’re just leading the horde away,” Daryl said.
“You are,” you said. “I’m not.”
Daryl understood your words immediately. Negan, who had already guessed your plan, was silent as he stood by your side. Daryl was shaking his head as he looked at you. You were one of his closest friends and he was just realizing how serious you were when it came to getting to Beta. He had been so focused on Carol’s vendetta against Alpha, that he had missed the signs of your own fury.
“No,” he said, “not like this.”
“I’ve already made my decision, Daryl,” you said. “You’re not going to change my mind. Look, Gabriel is staying behind to protect the kids and I need you to disperse the herd.”
“Are you hearin’ this?” Daryl asked Michonne who was nearby.
“I am,” she said with a nod, “ and I am trusting that they know what they’re doing.”
“Fucking ridiculous,” Daryl said as he stormed away.
“Great, so if I die, he’ll be dancing on my grave,” you said as you watched him walk away.
“Daryl will be fine,” Michonne assured you. “Besides, Daryl doesn’t dance,” she said with a wink and a nod before going to follow him in preparation to leave.
-----------
You lost sight of Negan shortly after the group headed out of the tower.
While you were still covered in the Walker guts, you weren’t leaving just yet. You had a plan and you needed to stick with it. Standing across from Dianne, you watched as your family began to move through the Dead. You could make out a few of them, but not everyone. Also with the sun beginning to set, you knew that it was only a matter of time before you lost all visibility.
Everything that had happened since that first wind storm, was suddenly echoing around in your head. You had lost people shortly after that night and it just kept crashing down like that tree that collapsed the wall behind your house. You weren’t even sure if your house was still standing at this point. Aaron and Alden had radioed to say that the horde had moved through Alexandria, trampling it. They were supposed to keep on them, but then their line had gone silent and nobody was hearing from them.
It was making you nervous, not knowing where your friends were. You knew that Enid was worried, but she was staying busy, looking after the kids with Siddiq who was constantly hovering over Rosita and Coco. Considering they were the only doctors in the group, they would not be going out into the horde until it was clear. They would head straight for the meeting point and even then it was a risk to have them out there. However, you knew that they were strong fighters and that they would do everything to survive. They had proved that the night Alpha had taken them.
The Fair seemed so long ago. That moment of you walking up the hill to see your friends and family on pikes still haunted you, but you used those feelings of horror and despair to keep your vision alive. The vision you had of your future with both Negan and Lydia by your side.
You had always fought for family and you were not going to let Beta take that away from you.
A sudden scream broke you out of your thoughts as Beatrice went down in the horde. Dianne was stunned next to you as you watched the woman being torn apart by Beta’s guardians. You knew that Carol had been with her, but you couldn’t tell if she was down as well. You couldn’t look away as blood and flesh were covering the Walkers as they feasted on your friend.
Holding your head higher, you moved away from the window and headed towards the elevator shaft. Catching Negan’s eye who stood near Lydia, you nodded to him. He nodded back and with one final look, you grabbed the rope and began to propel down, adjusting your focus not on your family above, but the enemy below.
-------
“They're coming up,” Judith said, who was staring at the stairwell in horror. Gabriel pushed her back, holding her tightly.
“You all know what to do,” Gabriel said. “Dianne, you get the first group. Children and wounded come second. If Rosita argues, just come and find me.”
The evacuation went smoothly as Dianne got everyone out, even Rosita and her baby. It was going well, but Negan knew it wasn’t nearly done. There was more work to be done.
Not too far away from Gabriel, Negan spoke to Lydia. “You know how this ends,” he said with a sigh.
“I don't and neither do you,” Lydia argued, looking up at him with those big brown eyes of hers.
“Come on, kid,” Negan said. “You being here when the shitstorm hits ain't changing what definitely is happening.”
“I'm not leaving,” she said defiantly.
“They're never gonna trust me, you,” Negan said, knowing well enough that no matter who he wanted to spend his life with, he would never be more than what these people remember from eight years ago. “Doesn't matter what we do now. You can just slip out, down, and dance your way through the Dead.”
“So can you,” Lydia pointed out, gesturing to the Whisperer mask he still had in his jacket.
“Like you said, I ain't no hero,” Negan said.
“You could be,” Lydia prompted.
“Well,” Negan said, pulling her into his side. “I guess that's what I'm doing now. You be careful, kiddo, and you know what?” Negan then pulled out another mask from his coat, one that Lydia instantly recognized as her mother’s. “You take this and you use it for good, you know, if that’s something you feel like doin’, alright?”
Lydia took the mask in her hands and clutched it in a fist.
“Don’t die,” she whispered. “Please, Negan, I can’t lose any more family.”
“I ain’t plannin’ on it,” he said as he kissed the top of her head and then turned his back on the room. Lydia watched as Negan took hold of the rope that led into the elevator shaft. Not looking back, he began to descend. He didn’t stop until his boots found solid ground again.
Shoving the mask onto his face, Negan pushed out into the world, ready to face anything that it threw at him. Even if it was for the last time.
He was on the outskirts of the horde when he exited the building, but he didn’t see any Whisperers and he didn’t see you. He didn’t think you would be waiting out in the open so he figured you had disappeared into the trees or even the horde itself.
Pulling the bat off his shoulder, Negan looked down at what you had coined “Lucille 2.0”. His hand wrapped around the end of the bat, feeling the familiar grip. With a deep breath, he held it close to his face one last time. “Thanks, old girl,” he whispered before tossing the bat into the horde of Walkers. He watched as it disappeared amongst the Dead and felt another weight disappear from his shoulders.
Drawing his knife, Negan began to move through the herd in hopes of finding you and the man you were going to take down. He just hoped that Daryl’s plan started to work and that the building behind him didn’t succumb to the wave of Walkers among him.
-----------
Something was wrong, that much you knew.
You didn’t know what it was, but the horde had stopped moving in the direction of the cliffside. You could hear the crashing of metal and cracking of stone behind you as the horde moved into the building.
The only good thing was that only the Whisperers could move up into the building and you were just hoping Gabriel had enough fighters to keep them back. However, he was also trying to evacuate people so it could easily go bad very quickly.
Fresh blood was splattered on nearby Walkers and you were praying that it was Whisperer blood and not the blood of your family. You wanted to stop and search for any bodies, but so far, you had gone undetected in the herd and you needed to keep it that way.
Shouts of alarm came from the building, but you couldn’t turn back and so, you kept Walking.
It was well into the evening when everything seemed to slow down. You had been moving through the horde slowly, taking out any Whisperer that recognized you. It was easy to do, a few quick slashes and the blood would attract the Dead. However, as you killed more of them, they began to realize the enemy had infiltrated their own army.
It was a few minutes later that you saw a familiar face in the crowd. Magna moved behind a slow-moving form and then slit their throat. The Whisperer fell to the ground as Walkers fell upon them, and then, Magna was gone.
You heard more sounds of choking as more Whisperers fell to the phantom movements of your friends and family. You could never pinpoint where they were in the crowd, but soon, you began to join in the stealth mission. Using your smaller blades, you cut down Whisperers, silencing them once and for all.
When one went to stab you first, Kelly was there in a second, slitting their throat, and throwing them down to the ground. You nodded to her as you passed by and she reached out and grabbed your hand quickly before continuing on.
Everything was going as planned, but you couldn’t find Lydia. You didn’t know if she had joined up with Daryl or had stayed behind with Gabriel. You hoped that Negan had eyes on her, but you didn’t know where he was either.
As the sun finally set and darkness fell, the horde began to thin and the enemy was finally exposed.
Negan saw him first.
Beta stood amongst the dwindling Dead acting as if he was the king of them all. A moment on the left, caught both men’s attention as Alpha’s mask moved through the crowd.
Negan shook his head at the move Lydia had made. If he wasn’t sure that she wasn't, he would have thought she really was his kid considering how daring she was with taunting Beta like this.
Beta stared at her in awe until she disappeared again from view. It was enough of a distraction for Negan to move in.
He knew you had to be close so with a smirk, he let loose his memorable melodic whistle, something he hadn’t done in a while.
He just hoped that you would get the meaning. He was essentially sending up a flare in the form of a few notes. “Come get him,” Negan whispered as he approached Beta. “Hey, shithead,” he spoke louder, gaining the attention of Beta.
The larger man instantly locked onto Negan’s position with ferocity. Recognizing him, Beta charged right for him. Negan braced himself for impact when Beta threw a Walker at him. “Shit!” Negan said as the Dead man fell upon him, its jaws fighting their way towards his throat. Pulling his knife, Negan finished off the Walker, kicking it away, but Beta wasn’t done.
He threw himself toward Negan as the latter tried to get to his feet. Beta aimed his fist at Negan’s head, catching him in the temple and Negan went down hard. Blinking back the black spots in his vision, he focused back on the enemy above him.
“For Alpha,” Beta growled. Negan stared him down as Beta raised his knives above his head, ready to strike true, but a sound from his left made him turn. He snarled as you came running from the horde with your sword in your hand. Beta didn’t have any time to move as you rushed past him, your blade slashing out to the side and cutting both of the man’s Achilles tendons.
Beta yelled out in pain as blood pooled from his ankles. Negan pushed him off of him as you circled back. Kicking his knives from his hands, you reached down and shoved your blade into Beta’s shoulder. The same shoulder you had injured in your fight with him in Alexandria. Beta bared his teeth at you and that’s when you noticed the new mask on his face.
It was half of Alpha’s own face.
He seemed to be sneering at you as you reached forward and placed your hand on his throat, forcing him to look at you. “I’ll kill you,” he spat.
“You make veiled threats,” you said, quoting what he had first said to you in the clearing as your friends were being slaughtered by his Alpha. “I told you that I wasn’t going to die like this. Not by you or anyone.” Beta yelled, trying to get up and attack you when suddenly Daryl appeared out of the darkness.
Pulling his blades, Daryl brought them down into Beta’s back, keeping him in place. The shock of pain sent Beta back to the ground. Blood bubbled at his lips and you leaned in closer, making sure your face was the last one that he saw. “Killer,” Beta spat at you as Daryl pulled his blades from Beta’s body.
“No,” you said as you pulled back and then in one fluid motion, buried your sword up into his chest. “Survivor,” you corrected as you withdrew your weapon and kicked him to the ground and towards his own Walkers who smelled the fresh blood immediately.
Negan and Daryl instantly, stepped in front of you as you watched the Dead tear apart Beta. The sound of tearing flesh and the growls of the Walkers had never sounded so liberating before. Negan slowly took hold of his mask and tore it from his face, letting it drop to the ground beside him. Daryl, who had been the first one to fight Beta, let out a breath that spoke louder than words.
They had won.
“Now is it over?” you asked, leaning on your sword,
“Yeah,” Daryl said. “It’s over. Come on,” he said as he passed Negan, knocking his fist against the taller man’s shoulder. Negan then reached down and took your hand in his and without looking back, walked away from the bloodbath that had ended the war.
---------
The sun was rising by the time, you managed to find the group again.
You, Daryl, and Negan found Carol first. The woman looked as if she had been through hell, but she lit up as soon as she saw her best friend. Daryl grabbed her first, hugging her close. It immediately reminded you of when they had reunited after Terminus.
Looking around, you couldn’t find the person you had been worried about since you had dropped down the elevator shaft. “Lydia,” you said, “where is she?” Carol looked up from her moment with Daryl and approached you.
“Rendezvous point,” Carol said. “She went looking for you. Both of you,” she said, sending a look to Negan. You didn’t hesitate to start running through the trees. Negan was right behind you as you jumped over old roots and fallen branches. Your only thoughts were on Lydia and if she was okay. Seeing the break in the trees ahead of you, you slid to a stop, your eyes scanning the area.
Negan arrived right behind you, but then, he froze. He felt as if the world was suddenly pulled out from under his feet. Everything around him felt on fire as he beheld who was kneeling in front of Judith, speaking softly to her.
Maggie Rhee.
You noticed his hesitation immediately. “What’s wrong? Do you not see her?” you asked, still looking around for Lydia.
“(Y/N)…” Negan said slowly.
“What?” you asked and then he was nodding over to where he was looking. Turning, your eyes found Maggie who had finally noticed Negan. The woman was staring at him as if she couldn’t believe what she was seeing. Negan swallowed thickly as Maggie stared him down.
There weren’t many people in the world that scared him as much as Maggie Rhee did and he was not looking forward to the words she would definitely be throwing at him. “Ignore her,” you said.
“(Y/N),” he said again. You grabbed him by his shoulders and turned him back to face you. He did, looking down at you with worry in his eyes.
“Just for right now,” you said. “We need to find‒”
“Hey!” a familiar voice called out and you could have sunk to the ground at the amount of relief that flooded your system.
“Oh, thank god,” you said as you turned to see Lydia running towards you. Her eyes were red-rimmed and she looked exhausted but she was alive and that was all that mattered. Lydia ran right to you, throwing her arms around you and Negan. You didn’t hesitate to follow suit, wrapping your arms around both of them.
Your family.
Negan squeezed both of you tight in his arms, finally letting his heart settle from all the adrenaline that was pulsing through him. “Is he dead?” Lydia asked as she was pressed between you two.
“He’s dead,” you whispered. “I promise, we got him.” Lydia pressed herself tighter to you before she stepped back with a relieved expression on her face. You then grabbed her and checked her for injuries. Lydia was doing the same as she checked over you and Negan. When Lydia noticed the blossoming head wound on Negan’s forehead, she became worried.
“I’m fine, kiddo,” he assured her. “I’ll take a bruise over a body bag any day.” Lydia then looked from him to you and then back at him.
“Does this mean you’re staying?” she asked, looking at him with hope in her eyes.
“Nothing is going to make me leave you,” he said. “Either of you.” Lydia let out a breath as she moved in to hug him again, coiling her arms around his waist. He held her back and sent a wink to you over her shoulder. You moved and picked up his hand, pressing a kiss to the back of his knuckles, not caring who was watching.
You would deal with her later.
“So, now what?” Lydia asked.
“Now, we start fresh,” you said, taking her hand in yours, Lydia leaned into Negan, her head resting on his chest. “And who knows, maybe we discover a little more about each other along the way.”
“I like the sound of that,” Negan said as he tugged you into his side.
“Me too,” Lydia sighed.
“Good cause I am not giving up on either of you,” you said, trying not to get emotional, but it was futile. Letting a tear fall, you smiled at them. “You’re my family,” you choked out.
“Ain’t that the truth,” Negan said as he leaned down and pulled you in for a kiss. You kissed him back quickly, knowing there was a future ahead of you filled with more. “I love you,” he whispered.
“I love you, too,” you said. “Until the end of our little universe.” Negan grinned at that as he pulled you and Lydia in closer, holding onto his found family.
There was a lot more to come and you knew that. With Maggie’s reappearance, it was not going to be easy and there were always going to be more enemies and wars to fight. However, because you had the man you loved and a kid who was a hell of a fighter, you knew you were going to be okay no matter what the new world threw at you.
After years of feeling like an outsider, you finally felt whole and it was all because you took a chance and spoke to the big bad wolf.
THE END.

Gabe: By my calculations, if you got a hobby point each month, you could’ve maxed out every hobby by now. Sure, if you ignore the three years where I was too busy sorting out my CC to actually play the game. Gabe: By my calculations, shut up.
Tumblr media
One step closer to his LTW!

If I’ve learned anything from teen movies it’s that frat houses cannot be shut down, you gotta sabotage that shit. So let’s bring in the sorority!
Tumblr media
SUCCESS!
Tumblr media
Gabe: Nah I’m just gonna fuck with the Greek houses some more lol.
Tumblr media
Jules: Yeah, my dad’s kind of a big deal, but he’s not as great as me.
Tumblr media
Secret Sue: I know someone who’s pretty great!
Tumblr media

Tumblr media
Jules: Wanna play for cash? Ripp: Absolutely not.
Tumblr media
Gabe spends all his free time now playing on the swing.

Jules brings home Ivy Copur every day to gossip about the various uberhood randos. Jules: -And then he pissed himself! Ivy: No way! Really!? Jules: I don’t actually know, but it’s statistically likely.
Tumblr media
Oh yay, a genie lamp! Matchmaker: Ehhh maybe I should’ve left the one that sets things on fire? Next time.
Tumblr media
Gabe: I notice you don’t have the flu any more. And thank fuck for that.
Tumblr media
Don’t know why I screencapped a picture of local thirst trap, Leod McGreggor. Leod: For your followers. You’re right. Here you go guys, my treat, don’t say I never give you anything.

Sorry Sandra, we already have roaches.
Tumblr media
No.
Tumblr media
Gabe started writing a novel and I really wish we could write the blurb at the beginning when we pick the icons, because I’ve already forgotten what it was about.
Tumblr media
Tomatoes!
Tumblr media
I sold them rather than stocking the fridge and of course, it immediately ran out, so Gabe had to nip out for groceries.
Tumblr media
Jules: How do I look? Pretty good!
Tumblr media
Finally, Gabe made good enough friends with the witch to learn her secrets!
Tumblr media
Gabe: I HAVE THE POWER!
Tumblr media
Jules wanted to invite someone over, so I let her call up Melody Tinker. Jules: I need you to tell me all about college. Melody: I dunno how much help I’ll be, I haven’t actually had any classes yet.

Gabe: So you’re off to college today? Jules: Yep. Gabe: I’ll miss you.
Tumblr media
That said, it didn’t take him long to find a way to deal with the loneliness.
Tumblr media
Patricia: So... would it too crude to make a magic wand joke? Gabe: Yes.
Tumblr media
Gabe: But do it anyway.
Tumblr media
Gage: And now for my next trick, I’ll merge with the desk.
Tumblr media
Will: Is that a porno!? Gage: No, It’s literature.
Tumblr media
Do’t do that. Gage: Sorry, am I making you uncomfortable? Yes. Gage: Good.
Tumblr media
And the week ends with him turning Jules’ room into a little witchy study area. Gage: As Education Minister, I wish to set an example by furthering my education. Gage: Also I wanna learn how to send a swarm of bees after the next person who kicks over the bin.

“A New Beginning”
Mac Loudon fic (Word count: 1.057)
A/N:
Based from “Life is Strange: True Colors”
And obviosly filled with spoilers if you haven’t seen/played the game.
I don’t own all the character of all Life is Strange: True Colors. (Except for OC and additional characters that needed for this fanfic lol.)
I just finished watching -and let me say it again, watching, not playing- “Life is Strange: True Colors” and I just couldn’t help but want to write about him 😭.
I have little knowledge of Life is Strange universe. I watched Life is Strange 1 and Life is Strange: True Colors. Besides from that I haven’t seen: “Before the Storm” and “2”. So I’m sorry if I butchered something in this fanfic.
Is it just me who cheers for Mac? Like in the end Mac isn’t bad at all y’all 😭.

I couldn’t fucking believe it! Alex actually did it! She actually brought Typhon down to crumble. And now I felt like I could finally breathe. Somehow my sudden panic attack that grew from “Gabe’s accident” turned into dust. I let go of my breath that I seemed to hold.
God…. It’s finally fucking over. But at what price though? Riley broke up with me. I lost my job now that Typhon went down, which led me to another problem. God, such a catastrophic event today. What would happen now for Haven Springs?
I shook my head. That’s for another day. For now, I just went back to my bed, feeling safe again.
-
Haven Springs a couple days later was still in a state of shock. The people seemed to process everything they knew from the news media. Fuck…I was still processing it too. We all were. But I wasn’t going to let it stop me from starting a new life. A new beginning. If Riley could do better, so was I. So I had to pay a visit to the Black Lantern, where Alex Chen stayed.
Even though we were still in the state of shock, Haven Springs still shone so bright for what came next. God, when did I become so dorky and shit? Fuck that shit! I shock my head. Alex Chen. Right, searched for her and paid a visit.
I opened the door to the Black Lantern and saw that it was already filled with people. Some students were busy with their own messy shitty lives and other  people who came by just to eat. Duckie was there too, talking to someone. Probably more to tell them a story rather than talking.
I searched at the bar and didn’t find Alex. Maybe upstairs? Just before I stepped up, I heard someone called, “Mac? What are you doing here?”
I turned around and saw it was Ryan Lucan, the son of the owner of the Black Lantern, Jed Lucan. “Hey Ryan. Is Alex here?”
“Nah, she’s in the record store, taking care of it after Steph’s gone outside. Living her dream.” He said as he wiped down the counter. “So, why are you looking for Alex?”
The tone of his voice seemed … new? Like I’d never seen him before like that. Like he worried that I might do something. Oh right … he was his girlfriend after all. “I was just going to pay a visit.”
He looked at me again. “That’s new. What for?”
I sighed, “She promised me that I’m better off from Typhon. Now that it is gone. I’m practically jobless.”
“Oh … right ….”
“Yeah,” I scoffed.
“Well, you should go to the record store now if you want to see her.”
I nodded and bid him goodbye. Okay then, to the record store it is.
I walked across and went inside the record store, Rocky Mountain Record Traders. The place was nice, cozy even. Tons of records neatly tucked in a box, figurines lined up on shelves, and last but not least: Valkyrie, the devil cat. Honestly, she didn’t like everyone except Steph and maybe Alex too. And most certainly didn’t like me at all.
I looked behind the counter and still didn’t find Alex. I looked behind the window glass of the record store and found her. She was broadcasting something, I didn’t know for sure. So I just knocked on the glass and she was startled. She glanced at me and took off her headphones. The door to the record room opened and she walked towards me. “Mac! You surprised me! So what’s up?”
“You did it. Typhon is down.”
“Yes! I know right, it was one a hell of a ride and one thing that made me learn some important things too.”
“Yeah, yeah whatever. I come to you because you know….”
“What?”
You’d gotta be kidding me. “Typhon down, we win and that shit. And one more important thing: I’m fucking jobless!”
She winced at me, “Oh yeah … that.”
“You better be have some fucking job for me Chen.”
“Better, I have one for you, come again at the Black Lantern tomorrow.”
“Fine!” I walked out of the store and headed out to the flower shop where Eleanor worked.
Even though me and Riley broke up. I still didn’t want to lose contact with her Grandma. Well, this was me still hoping to talk with Riley too.
I helped the best as I could to ease Eleanor from the list for the day. Even though she didn’t tell me her problems, I could tell that she had something going on with her. And I wasn’t going to let her do it alone. I wanted to help her to the fullest.
“Thank you, Mac!” She said as I finished helping her. “You had no idea of what you did today, completely save me the trouble. I’m truly grateful. Again, thank you.”
“No problem, Eleanor.”
I walked down the street again and didn’t notice that the sun had set to the color of warm orange. Guess I should go home for now and tomorrow go back to Alex.
-
“Ta-da!” Alex shouted as I asked her again about the job and all she did was throwing her arms at the bar counter of the Black Lantern.
I gave her a hard stare look, “That’s a counter. I know that. What the hell are you trying to show me, Chen?”
“This! You’re going to work at the Black Lantern now! I know that it is not the best place since Riley dumped you-”
“Thanks to you Asshole!” I shouted.
“-here, but we thought you could do a great job here!”
I sighed hard, “And are you sure about this Ryan?”
“Yeah why not? Besides, Alex can see if you do any harm to- Ouch!” Ryan pressed his palm against his ribs where Alex had elbowed him hard.
“What the hell are you guys talking about?”
“Nothing!” They both shouted at me, then Ryan continued assuring me about the job that it was a pleasure to have another one to look after the Black Lantern.
“Well,” I said, scratching my head. “If you say so.”
And my new beginning was starting in the Black Lantern, where all so many secrets that had been buried, came up to Haven Springs.
