will sneaking mike in through his bedroom window so they can make out. and it's all well and good yk they're giggling and kissing but then hopper decides to check on will because it's like 11 pm and he's making so much noise and, in a bout of desperation whilst hopper is opening his door, will shoves mike off of his bed and onto the hardwood floor so hopper can't see him.

and like. hop knows INSTANTLY what's up (he already knows at this point that will and mike are dating) because will has a dopey lil smile on his face and a hickey forming on his neck and his clothes are all ruffled right. but hopper plays it off, asks will if he's okay, will says he is. alright then. hopper leaves. he knows mike is definitely somewhere in the house. probably with a forming bruise from the bump he heard.

unfortunately, will shoving mike off of the bed so abruptly did, in fact, give him a bump on his forehead, so he goes downstairs to get ice for it.

hop is downstairs, too, sipping coffee and watching as mike pulls a bag of peas from the freezer (mike doesn't notice him at first) and subsequently grumbles a, "hey, mike. fall off the bed again?" from the dining table. mike very nearly shits his pants.

(hop let's him stay, though, on the condition that there will be no "funny business".)

my sister was asking what i know about avoidant personality disorder and i had to explain that while the doctor who diagnosed my adhd said i had symptoms she didn't actually diagnose me with avpd. because a big part of avpd is like, low self-esteem and not wanting to inflict yourself on others because you think you're lesser. and that is not a problem i have. someone's gotta make this normal social interaction weird by saying weird shit and it might as well be me. if you can't keep up that's a you problem. i'm not the one who sucks here. i'm avoiding that social interaction because i can sense when someone is going to try to talk to me about reality television instead of something interesting, like early 20th century newspaper comics. i'm great at making friends and terrible at getting rid of them. i am avoidant in that i would like to avoid spending time politely listening to someone else be wrong and annoying. whatever i have wrong with me is insufferable in a different way.

Been brainroting about Nine and Kit and how they circle back and show the two ugly extremes of Tails while also not being him at all and I'm actually maybe going insane but hear me out!!

Thimbking about how Nine is so desperately trying to prove that he is his own person and distances himself from Tails with everything in his power while looking like and, in certain instances, acting near identical to the other. And then Kit, who looks and acts absolutely nothing like the fox he was meant to replace (girls' not even the same type of fox!!!) while literally being programmed to only follow orders and have no thoughts of his own besides that he's meant to take someone else's place

The meme I already made about Nine being angry as a default response to any possible conflict while Kit turns into a crying and unstable emotional mess[affectionate]

Something something if I'm reading too much into this don't tell me but both Kit and Nine representing the need for Tails to have at least one dependable person for him to fall back on and Nine being the show that a lack of it turned him bitter and abrasive, while Kit is yet again the opposite extreme by having his whole personality and wants revolve around someone else (yet he expresses his distrust and hate towards everyone but that person, so perhaps they're not so different after all)

And how they should absolutely hold hands and kibth /j

Still thinking about Spiderpeople (and people connected to those Spiderpeople) from the universes where it seems an awful lot like they’re the only heroes landing in a universe where it’s one of the Spiderpeople who’s surrounded by other heroes like the Avengers and the Fantastic 4, etc

And obviously because of this they’re gonna be extra careful about secret identities because of all the extra heroes who aren’t Spidey hanging around, and I’m just thinking about the Prowler (Aaron) trying to figure out if he’s alive or even existing in this universe while trying not to give away too much so he’s just like “who’s the coolest bald man you know?”

And Spidey’s like “oh!! I know exactly who you want!! follow me!!”

He brings them to Nick Fury.

Later on they run into what’s obviously a variant of Miles, who the other Spidey of that universe didn’t bring up because Miles isn’t known as “Spiderman” in that universe (maybe it’s like “arachnikid,” or it’s Prowler!Miles, or maybe he’s just going through a phase where he’s trying out a new hero name each week, etc)

So Aaron’s like “oh great, I can definitely ask him, but again I gotta be discrete because of all these extra heroes around” so he asks him in the exact same way he asked the other Spidey (“who’s the coolest bald man you know?”)

Miles also brings them to Nick Fury.

(Yes his uncle is still alive, yes the other Aaron is absolutely gonna tell on him)

Also! Because there’s so much emphasis on the other heroes handling “big stuff”, I like to imagine they all keep trying to insert themselves into the situation because it’s a multiverse situation which falls under “their jurisdiction” and Spidey’s just like “??? they’re all Spiderpeople tho, this is my thing, go away, shoo”
