Enki deserved better. The way that the murder wasn't his fault, it was instead Elf's. He lost a brother because of Elf. He lost his job because of Elf.

29. “I thought you were dead.”

his patience was weighing; all enki could register was the excitable rambling nonsense of the child proclaiming to be his brother was spewing.

finally he stated firmly. "samon." and it immediately shut the child up looking at him. "if you want to train and become like me, walk two miles through the forest then back here." he looked into the large intimidating green of the forest and whined.

"awwww that's no fun!"

"then you will never be like me."

that struck an emotional nerve as he went wide eyed, almost teary eyed before shaking it off with a determined expression. "i'll become you faster then you became yourself aniki!"

"that makes no sense."

not listening to him the boy ran into the forest, the rustling fading until it was silent. enki sighing in relief, the panda to his side shaking it's head in disapproval as he went back meditating.

.........

the metalic 'snap' of a trap caught his ears as he looked to his right, his panda was unharmed. the snap was further away anyways in...the forest.

he sighed getting up and walking in, that damn kid got himself into something dangerous, how annoying.

"samon."

he walked a little faster, deeper into the woods looking left and right, how big was this place again? why did that even matter though? he was likely fine...likely...

"samon!"

he ran jumping over tree roots, leaping onto branches when the ground was too irritable for his bare feet, harshly landing in an opening.

"SAMON!"

"what?!"

enki almost fell back as samon popped out of the bush, panting lightly as the younger looked more confused and slightly annoyed.

"i thought you- you're-"

"-not done yet i know." he grumbled, coming out of it with a beartrap latched onto his tail. "but this stupid thing won't let me go!" he exclaimed shaking his tail growling, only to smack the metal trap on his forehead making him screech in anger.

a beartrap he thought, out here, so far away from him. if it didn't latch onto his tail he could've...

samon plopped on the ground panting, long enough for enki to lean down and pry the trap off his tail. sitting up samon quickly examined his tail, smiling as he stood up. "thanks aniki! i'll go fini-"

"no." the younger faltered at the sudden response, his pose drooping. "what?"

"we're...going to take a break." he stated, walking with the trap in his grasp. "come. lets replenish ourselves." at the comment of snacks samon quickly perked up following suite.

unbeknownst later during his snacking of the elder's absence back into the forest, and the brown bag he took coming out full with metallic clanking inside

Day 4 of costober Werewolf! In honor of today also being when the first ep of nanbaka released I decided to draw Nico!

Is there any chance you could write more Nanbaka? It doesn't matter what it is, I just need to see more fancontent because the fandom is mostly dead and it's just a webcomic and not an anime.

Dudes, not to age myself even though my blog has my age on it, I used to love Nanbaka in middle school. I wasn't really allowed creative freedom by the one person who talked to me about it. Makes inner child me pretty happy to know that I can have creative freedom.

"Hajime, you forgot your lunch!"

The supervisor of building thirteen froze. Coincidentally he was doing his rounds, just so happened to be standing in front of cell thirteen. Now, the boys in that cell haven't met their counsellor due to Hajime finding every reason not to let them.

"Why do you look so scared? It's only me." She had this hint of a French accent and smelled of thin floral perfume.

The cell went wild.

"Hello pretty lady, I'm Uno!" The blonde inmate squished his face as close to the bars as he could.

"Your eyes look so cool! What are you doing here?" A little green haired boy was next, his face actually slid between the bars.

"Don't tell me you're Hajime's sister, that would be a bummer." A tall young man with purple and red hair was just leaning against the bars, he towered over his two cellmates.

"Hajime, are these the inmates from cell thirteen?" The pink haired woman asked sweetly, her eyes wide as she stared at the bald man.

He knew he was in danger.

"Look at the time, I'm going to be late for more paperwork--"

Hajime tried to leave, tried to use work as an excuse and hoped that maybe she would let him go. His body stiffened when she grabbed the back of his coat to keep him from leaving.

"I thought I told you that I wanted to meet with these four." She smiled despite how tightly her grip on his jacket was.

"I haven't gotten around to approving the meeting." He responded anxiously.

The boys in cell thirteen have never seen Hajime anxious.

"Hajime Sugoroku, are you really messing with my work?"

"No, Mei, I'm not messing with your work."

Once she let go of his jacket, he turned to face her. Eyes looking anywhere but her, it was a comical sight for the four inmates. It was a blessing for them to see this going down.

"Okay, good, then I expect to see them the next time I visit Nanba." That sweet smile was back on her face as she lifted up a bento. Giving it to him. "You forgot your lunch, dear."

That broke the inmates entirely.

"Since when do you get a girl you bald gorilla?!" The blonde was the first to shout, no longer in shock.

"Yeah! It's not fair the rest of us!" The tall one snarled.

"You're in prison. It's not like you'd have time for that anyway." Hajime spoke calmly, holding the bento in his hands so delicately. He swore he didn't forget his lunch. Was this an excuse just to come see him?

"So, when do you take your lunch break?"

It was.

"Come on, before these idiots try to actually do something."

Unlike a gentleman he led Mei to the office by her arm, she didn't seem to mind it. Giggling behind her hand. She did this deliberately, especially after reading the inmates case files.

It seems no matter how much time has passed, i will always find my way back to this fever dream of a series

It also seems that for every fandom that i am apart of, I have to make a time travel/transmigration AU of it some reason.

And so i present, the Prismatic Abyss Au!

(Fair warning, this AU has ALOT of Nanbaka manga spoliers)

So the AU goes like this.

After the events of the Nanbaka manga ending, the story continues for a bit before Jyugo finally brings an end to The Man With The Scar, going down with him.

With all truths and lies revealed and most loose ends seeming to be tied up, Jyugo was ready to accept death.

...

But we all know that was not going to happen.

Nope, our dear Number 15 instead finds himself back in his past body at a time long before his 'Permanent' stay at Namba Prison. With all his memories too! That's a first for him-

Just how far will this Idiot further derail the plot of an already on drugs series? We will see!

I had way too much fun creating this. No regrets.

-blows dust off- ...so...been a while. i have two of these writing requests though in my inbox so, i should give yall something

just an FYI though i've been out of the loop for a while, so idk what all went on in the manga besides some tidbits i learned from friends. anyways i'm so sorry for the long wait:

the skidding wheels of the bullet train perked ringo from her phone, quickly pocketing it as she walked towards the opening doors. a long but eventful day at work left her almost exhausted, contemplating a nap on the ride back-

"YOOOOOOOO!" exclaimed far off as she turned, the hard hitting boots mitsuru wore emitting as loud of a sound as his voice. "KEEP THE DOOR OPEN YALLLLLLL!"

a part of her did not want to keep the door open. however the good co-worker part of her quickly slapped her hand on the left end of the entrance long enough for mitsuru to get inside; there went her short nap she supposed.

slowly pulling himself up from his half crouch panting mitsuru finger gunned at her, his coat over his shoulder and hat clasped on his belt. "yooo ringo thanks for that!" she shrugged responding despondently "what are co-workers for?"

"right!?" he smacked her shoulder blades with a chuckle as she kept herself from falling. "man y'know i always say that but the guys sure don't reciprocate that."

"i wonder why." she grumbled, walking to an empty seat as he followed flopping next to her. "man i dunno." he feigned tearing up "poor ol tsuru's friends just take advantage of his good will."

"what a semi-convincing display of emotion your pulling."

he turns back sharply with a sharp smile. "ey thanks! been workin on it."

"can you also work on keeping your voice down?"

"heh, guess i do owe ya one for that so sure."

"thank you."

lightly tapping on his phone mitsuru glanced down at the red head currently resting on his shoulder. wasn't even five minutes before she passed out.

another stop another few guards and workers coming on, he almost wouldnt've taken much notice until a pair of legs was standing right in front of them. taking advantage of his shaded lenses he looked up just enough to see the random guard staring at them- no wait- not directly at them but at-

...his smile made mitsuru snear, slowly pulling his glasses down as he looked up, gaining the guy's surprised attention.

"yo." low and dark as he glared. "can i help ya with somethin'?"

immediately he left in embarrassment. mitsuru "tsk"d putting an arm around ringo's shoulder. the creeps they let work at the prison he swore.

"my apologies for the unnecessarily physical response now that i have more context of the situation you described."

the rattling of the train station's vendor stopped as a small pack of ice dropped, mitsuru quickly picking it up to put on his right eye.

"psh nah t's fine. don't blame ya. man ya pack a punch though." ringo loured lightly, mitsuru noticing quickly before her expression shifted to look more neutral.

"ey, how about we get drinks? my treat." she perks up surprised. "wh- why your treat? i hit you so i should be the one to."

"ya bought the ice pack for me so 't's only fair."

"but that makes it uneven compared to your help on the train-" he put a finger in front of her, a smile on his face. "it ain't a competition ring. 't's just what friends do."

"friends..." she mumbled as he took two steps ahead of her, offering a hand. "so what'dya say? can also just escort ya home if ya want." her face felt warmer then she remembered, brushing back her bang before nodding.

"i can fit in a drink before home. thank you mitsuru."

"ain't nothin ringy-dink."

"don't."
