In Napa... we are always drinking happy thoughts. 🍷 Hey Belleza, It’s been a hectic few weeks to say the least and cray cray year. I am just so thankful to have my love ones to bring a smile to my face during this crazy times we are all living (Covid, fires wind now elections!!!) and thanks to some yummy #napa vinito. I am still a bit MIA since I am spending all my time falling in love with my mini me aka baby 👶🏼 Matteo. I’ve been working from home too so it’s been quite hectic but I love to be busy so it’s not a complaint OJO. If there is anything I’ve learned this year is to really be in the moment. So when you are with your loved ones turn OFF your cell phone. I know it sounds silly coming from me that I love to IG, Story and post but it is necessary. Your mind needs to rest too. I am actually past my curfew. I decided to lock all apps after 9:30pm and back on after 8am this includes emails and text messages. Que tal! Have you ever tried that? Just disconnect? I did it while I was getting ready to go thru my #IVF cycles and implantation. A few weeks backs while watching #socialdilemmaonnetflix I remembered I limited my screen time. I also do some clean up and get rid of apps I don’t use or take too much of my valuable time. Tell me Bella, what puts a smile on your face and how do you disconnect to live more in the moment? It’s that time of the year that we all look forward to our summer 😎vacation. This year we were planing on a staycation since our baby was going to be too little to travel. This was back in 2017 in the gorgeous island of Capri. We visited my hubby’s Italian family and travel around Italy. We miss them so much. We can’t wait to go back to Italy to visit them and for them to meet Matteito. If you are visiting #capri I strongly suggest you book to visit the caves and get to know more about the island on a private boat, we had the best captain, Paolo @amazingcapritour . Love you #italy ! Hello World! Meet baby Matteo Giovanni. He is officially on his 2nd month. My schedule is very unpredictable. I am still recovering from labor, doc said another 6 more weeks. Baby is growing so fast. He’s been cluster feeding this week and so I am lucky if I get any sleep. I can’t wait to show baby Matteo the gorgeous valley he was born, #napavalley and it’s charming community. We feel so loved. So many of you have shown your love and care. Thank you! 😘 Matteito is first American generation in my family. Yeap... mi gringito hermoso. Happy Friday Belleza! And remember. Mi Matteo I fell in love with you before I could even hold you in my arms. 🤱🏻Love at first heart ♥️ beat. I can even see your feet pressed against my belly. Feeling so blessed. Even in this pandemic you came to us to let us know how beautiful life is. Belleza, I know it’s been a hard few months with all the uncertainties, SIP and not being able to be in our normal routine. As hard as it may be, we’ve all work to see the bright side of things. I wish none of the pandemic happened. I didn’t have a baby shower, or was able to go back home to visit, or had family come to visit me during delivery room like you see in movies or was able to look for baby stuff at the store bc everything was closed... despite of it all. I love how we all have made this change work and connected with our loved ones even more— on FaceTime, google hangouts, house party, zoom etc etc. It’s in our nature to give and feel love. We may need to be social distance but we’ve connected even more spiritually. For that I am thankful and for my bundle of joy to let me know that Life continues. For a moment I thought I was the one with the cravings... but nah! Hubby beat me to eat. When visiting Point Reyes you must stop at this cheese shop. It’s so so delicious. I could smell the stinky cheeses miles away. Hubby thought I was crazy until we drove by @marinfrenchcheese ! En honor a dos héroes de la historia de Sur América “ La Gran Colombia” mi hubby @drtigrettendo y yo decidimos disfrazarnos de Simón Bolívar y Manuelita Sáenz. Después de ver la serie en @netflix @bolivarlaserie llegue a conocer más el personaje de nuestro Libertador “Simón Bolívar”, y la de La Libertadora del Libertador “Manuela Sáenz”. Cuando viví en Venezuela 🇻🇪 aprendí acerca de la historia de Bolívar pero jamás llegue a conocer tanto al personaje como ahora. Gracias al equipo de @caracoltv por una de las mejores series que he visto. Gracias a esta serie mi esposo que es Americano llego a conocer un poco más, acerca de la historia de Sur America y de mi libertador. Aún no pierdo la esperanza de que mi Venezuela 🇻🇪 vuelva a ser LIBRE. Y que vuelva a ser el paraíso donde crecí.
