He pushed Caillen back in with the groceries and closed the door before walking around to the driver's side. "Now I'm going to bleed on the upholstery."

I'm never gonna be over the Maggie sharing Nate's taste thing. Or really just the intricate web of Nate relationships.

Nate/Maggie still together while Nate had a crush on Sophie and Maggie had a crush on Sterling. Sophie and Maggie immediately hitting it off and the strong vibe of them hooking up offscreen. Sterling's homoerotic friendship/enemyship with Nate but in a way where I cannot personally see them ever doing anything about it except in a threesome situation involving either Maggie or Sophie as well. Sterling and Sophie who spent a decent percent of an episode working together culminating in Sterling admitting he gets what Nate sees in her. Sterling who brought the team in to help Maggie (along with advance his own career at the same time of course but let's be honest that's always the case and doesn't mean he didn't also want to help her).

Hell, there was even a bit of a vibe between Nate and Tara. Tara who was very much Sophie's friend (with benefits) first.

It's not even just Maggie. Why does everyone Nate likes have the same taste in people as Nate himself and all get together in various capacities/times but distinctly not ever in any kind of straightforward stable poly situation like Parker/Hardison/Eliot. It's so so funny to me.

All the more because Nate is stunned and afraid of the phenomenon. Think of his reaction to Maggie's crush on Sterling/friendship with Sophie and amplify it.

Closest to that was Archie Sonic #71. Sonic strapped a Super Emerald to his back, went Super, then went Ultra, and then went through three environment-based forms of Ultra: Solar, Polar, and Eco.

i think the legends wld do that trend where u get ur friends embarrasing t-shirts / phone cases before u go on holiday but they do it before a crossover and sara gets photographed beating up an alien wearing a t-shirt which says "looking for hot milfs in your area". it becomes a meme.

Not quite sure, since most of my DW OCs dislike stealers. I'd say he'd be friends with Sally (due to having a heavy amount of mischief in her heart) and Marshall (she loves everyone, in her own special way). Nate, on the other hand, would probably run away like a scared cat from your oc.

it's such a ridiculous question that it couldn't be anything but rhetorical. nate had hit a growth spurt in sophomore year that propelled him to 6'5" and put on enough muscle mass to match it with consistent effort as soon as he made the football team. but even with all these things going for him, there were a few cunning enough people who still picked up on the cracks forming in his perfectly crafted facade, saw through the wholesome suburban fairytale. those were few and far between though, and they typically didn't notice the warning signs until it was too late. the kid's so softspoken that nate can barely hear him through the obnoxious EDM that was reverberating through the walls, earning him an easy smile over the buffer of a boozy red solo cup. "most of the time, yeah. i wasn't raised to be a quitter. can't say the same for most these days," he admits, voice deep with inflection and thought as his gaze flits over conversely soft features with a cocky lift of his brow. there's already a curiosity brewing in him that he knows he shouldn't chase, and nate knows himself pretty well. the parts he's allowed himself to explore, at least. "don't i know you?" nate questions, forehead wrinkling with the scrunch of his brows. this one was a guaranteed rhetorical question because nate honestly doesn't know him from adam, but this is something he's permissibly willing to change. he barely resists the urge to tack on something surface-level insulting, because nate prefers hatred to indifference.

Can I talk about how much I love Buddy and Friend? They're just silly little guys living their best lives. I love em. I think they've actually appeared in every game of yours with the exception of Semi-Aquatic Circus (although I could've sworn I saw them juggling pins or balancing on top of each other in a background somewhere)

Anyway, thank you for Buddy and Friend, and Fia's night out, which will surely make me cry when I finish it. Your games always help me when I'm low on inspiration and creative energy, on top of giving me just one more thing to obsess over. So thank you. ^-^

That's funny because I feel they're MOST prominent in Semiaquatic Circus, especially considering they appear on multiple screens and you have to ask about them to even progress in the game haha!

While they definitely aren't in all my games, I do like to include them where I can just because I think they're fun!!

it's not a surprise that nate jacobs scores high on the psychopathy checklist, but even he had trouble reigning in how freaked out he was when the unassuming, offputting new kid at school finally got fed up with nate's verbal humiliation and bit him on the forearm hard enough to draw blood. it's a stinging and piercing pain, so sharp that he almost immediately reels back from it to apply pressure to the wound with his hand, messily staining his fingertips and when he raises his head nate sees his blood in martin's mouth. he yelps, letting out an incredulous noise as he tries to calibrate just how badly he wants to escalate this situation. "what the fuck is wrong with you?! i'm a quarterback, you dipshit!" martin's new here, so he doesn't know the pecking order yet. nate is so shocked that he's just yelling the first things that come to mind without a filter, however regardless of how nonsensical his justifications for understanding pain beyond a conceptual level may seem. his simmering rage boils over when he retaliates by grabbing a fistful of martin's t-shirt to slam him against a locker. he's still bleeding, steadily dripping against the white cotton from where his arm is positioned against martin's solar plexus. "what's your excuse for being a freak, then? you're gonna end up in a fucking detention center at this rate. so what, your daddy died? some of us wish that shoe were on the other foot."
