Anyways, here is the 10 piece top set I just finished. This is a beadwork set for a Jingle, Fancy Shawl, or Northern Cloth/Buckskin dancer. It's beaded in 3 cut beads and backed in deer hide. All findings are nickel free!

It includes a headband, braid ties, earrings with removable dentallium drops (drops can be worn on their own as another pair of earrings) a back barrette, a choker with drop, and an extra hair clip.

For the last few months I've been working on some fun new additions to my Indigenous Nausicaa, the most ambitious of which has been this bag.

I've been thinking a lot about what a young matriarch would have access to and wear as status symbols. A lot about trade and crafts and their influence from the world around them. About floral beadwork in a world where a lot of the flora is synonymous with the toxic jungle.

Influences are pretty obvious, eastern beadwork styles but more specifically bandolier and whimsy bags! I had a lot of fun translating the fungi and spores into beads, though it was a learning curve. Not too sure if I overworked the interfacing too much or just used the wrong one all together. Some areas have tension issues, so the beads shifted but overall I'm really happy with how it turned out. This bag is also intended for personal use, so the neck strap is convertible to accommodate my belt or be worn around the neck. Looking forward to making her pink dress sometime soon.
