يتم إنتاج صمام إبرة الماء الميكانيكية من الصمامات الصناعية والتجهيزات في نوعين: بهيكل فولاذي وجسم من حديد الدكتايل ، يستلزم في تركيبها إلى قطعتين أو ثلاث قطع ، والتي يسهل إصلاحها وصيانتها.
العمود والمكبس والقرص وجميع الأجزاء المعرضة لنفث الماء مصنوعة من الفولاذ المقاوم للصدأ والأسطح التوجيهية للمكبس داخل غلاف الأسطوانة وخارجه مصنوعة من البرونز.
عمود صمام إبرة مصنوع من الفولاذ المقاوم للصدأ (X20Cr13)  وأسطح الختم مصنوعة أيضًا من الفولاذ المقاوم للصدأ (AISI 304) ، والذي يتم عن طريق اللحام والتشغيل الآلي على الجسم.
