A little something with the Negaverse. So I remember the design for Negative Numbuh 91,12 and I had a recent epiphany: her heterochromia should be reversed 👀 so instead of her right eye being green and left being blue, her right eye is blue and the left is green. It’s a neat idea and I don’t know why I didn’t think of that before.

More trivia about Negative Numbuh 91,12:

KND (Mainly Sector V) Headcanons!

After a stressful mission, Sector V has a chill movie night / sleepover not at the treehouse but at one of their houses to make it more calming. Number 1 (pre-GKND) always tried to skip out so he could go on more missions but Sector V forced him into taking a break.

Number 1 has a small groupchat called "Part-Time Members of Sector V" that includes him, 274, Lizzie, and 362.

Number 3 made them all matching rainbow monkey pjs with their numbers on the shirt, as well as a rainbow monkey that matches them (1's has sunglasses, 5's has a hat, etc.)

3&4 and 2&5 go on double dates often.

274 is the only teen operative that most kid operatives know about due to the GKND situation and Lizzie is the only intergalactic operative thats well-known for the same reason.

GKND left Sector V, 274, 362, Lizzie, and honestly most other knd operatives with severe trauma. Some operatives begged 86 to decommission them asap because of it.

Nigel and Lizzie get back together and they're much healthier and more patient than last time.

#1 and #86 will NEVER get along and atp its not even really anything personal its to keep the dynamic going

362 and Lizzie are best friends (Often asking #1 why he didn't introduce them earlier), causing #86 and #1 to not constantly bicker bc they don't wanna ruin their gfs playdate w/ their arguing

Post-GKND Father is less of a huge villain and more of just an major inconvenience. He likes to cause trouble yk? He'll steal the code module and make the KND, Teen Ninjas, and Villians battle for it via a TDI-esque thing

Abby is the eldest member of Sector V and Wally is the youngest

When Mr. Boss was told about Fanny and Rachel dating (and introduced to 362 in general), he was kind of just awkwardly like "Oh hey! You like girls?? Me too! We have that in common, that's great!" and it made Fanny very embarrassed but Rachel thought it was funny.

Mr. Boss never remembers Rachel's name and ends up calling her Raquel

Occasionally, whenever a member of Sector V doesn't feel like doing something (mainly #3), they'll swap themselevs out for their negative version just because. Usually, most operatives don't maintain eye contact or know Sector V personally enough to tell so it actuslly ends up working most of the time.

Name: Ms. Susan "Sue" All Age: 40 Headcannon Voice Actor: Faye Mata Occupation: Lawyer Personality: Like many KND villains, she despises children and babies, but goes a step father and harbors hatred for teenagers. She believes children/teens are a waste and that people should stop spending on them or giving families breaks. She is very self-centered and believes everything should cater to her needs. She easily recoils when a child or teenager is in her presence and will instantly try to shoo them out. She like many other villains is not opposed to trying to hurt children and will do it without any remorse. She is also unpleasant and judgmental towards parents and often blatantly makes fun of them for being parents. She does have a soft spot for her little dog, Baby, and her husband, Jake. She is a big animal lover and really gets defensive if anyone tries to hurt one of them. She is also a vegan and environmentalist, which is on of the reasons why she believes bringing children into the world is evil. She is also very pushy and vocal about how eating meat is evil and that other people should go vegan. Right before I begin work on my annual “Best Episodes” list for the year, I’ll put out a new review of Codename: Kids Next Door for its 20th anniversary on December 6th. I won’t directly reveal what episodes it’ll be about, but since it’s a birthday, hopefully it’ll be easy to guess. But what I wanted to make note of before I get into producing the video is some observations I made with the series’ finale special, Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S.

Being a very important KND adventure, obviously, Father appears. But I believe this is the last time we’ve ever seen a Cartoon Network character smoking a pipe. (Correct me if I’m wrong, because I’m not a galaxy brain expert on modern CN.) I thought that was worth bringing up because you never see characters smoking in children’s media anymore, even in a negative context. You’d see pipes once in a while on the channel back in the Cartoon Cartoon days (Professor Utonium was shown with one in the earlier PPG episodes), but as time’s gone on, people have become more aware of the health risks, and the image of the smoking silent gen dad these shows were paying homage to faded out of relevance, it makes sense why no CN character has stopped to take a puff since January 2008.

Speaking of that rough time period, it’s possible this is also the last Cartoon Network production to be produced in 4:3 and standard definition. All their in house productions since the start of 2007 have been animated in 16:9 and high definition (which aren’t the same thing, but I understand why they’re synonymous), but since KND was produced by Curious Pictures, that mandate must not have applied to their show. The only other episode of a Cartoon Network show that might have it beat is the sole episode of Ed, Edd ‘n Eddy’s 6th season, which was produced by A.K.A. Cartoon and aired in June 2008. But it might’ve been squished to fit the 4:3 aspect ratios most Americans were still using at the time, or stretched out for current day releases.

Either way, I’m so used to both looks that neither one looks right to me anymore. In the case of “better safe than sorry”, and Ed, Edd ‘n Eddy was the last 4:3 Cartoon Network production, 2nd last still isn’t a pointless honour.

And of course, Operation: I.N.T.E.R.V.I.E.W.S. is the last official KND production in nearly 15 years. Unless the planets align, the Age of Aquarius begins and CN picks up Galactic KND, it looks like that’s always going to be the case. Might as well make its birthday present this year extra special.

PS: Holy crap it’s SO much easier to post little observations like this on Tumblr than Twitter! There’s so much more room to post and say what you want. I’m surprised I didn’t move here sooner. I’ve always wanted a dedicated blog, perhaps I should make this account that.

(I didn't know which ocs you specifically speak of so I'm gonna do all my KND ocs and just make them fun facts or just some background about them)

Melancholy Burnham:

-She oficially became a KND operative after the incident that caused her little sister's life and after that she cut all contacts with her mother. I was going to make her apart of Sector Z but I scrapped that idea considering the timeline, But instead she was put into Sector V and have only ever heard of Sector Z by stories or books she's read about them.

-She was raised by her dad and his side of the family "The Burnhams", The family consists of a Grandfather, Grandmother, Two uncles (brothers) and two aunts, Mella's father is the oldest son, the middle son has 5 children, and the youngest son has 2 children. Total of 7 cousins for Mella.

-All family members have a specific silhouette suit that reference the emotion or negative feelings triggered by a specific traumatic or life changing event

Ex: "Melanconly" was the name given to her because of her melancholic state after her sister's loss.

-Mella is supposedly the youngest Burnham, for her being around 10-11 years old.

The Wonderful Kids From Across The Street:

-The WKFATS are a similar group to the DCFDTL as well sharing only a father figure but their lives are more happier and free.

-All kids have a different personalities and traits yet they are inspired to be like the Delightful children from down the lane, The difference is that they have the ability to talk individually but it takes them along time to separate from each other.

-They are the adopted children of Dad, A man who owns a multimillion company but the only reason he kept working was because he cared about his children and their future.

-Their nicknames for each other are either what their shortened names or 'dear brother/sister, brother/sister dear'.

-The children are inspired to be the different taste buds of a human actually,

-Very inspired to by the Diamonds of Steven Universe. Blue, Yellow, Red and White.

-No one really knows where they came from or how they got to the neighborhood but people still welcomed them like they were new neighbors.

-They were mostly seen as the 'sophisticated' family and were often looked at as rude and prissy rich people at first but they were actually the nicest neighbors! They were an energetic family that revolves around love and protection and won't hesitate to help a person in need.

-The oldest child; Colton (Colt) was inspired to be like a General. He was strong, courageous and most of all skilled at the battle field, when it comes to his sisters he always protects them and does only physical harm to his enemies.

- The middle child; Beatrix (Bebe) was inspired to be like an Entertainer. She was cheerful, energetic and very social, She won't hesitate to destroy someone's spiritual values and make fun of their existence making her enemies think too deep about their value with enough time so her brother dunks them.

-The youngest child; Amelie (Amy) was inspired to be an Empath. She was emotional, kind, gentle and more leaned to logic and intelligence. She uses her enemies' emotions against them, either to make them feel bad for her or degrade them to an emotional breakdown so her siblings can handle the heavy work.

-Of course they only fight when necessary, They aren't really much harm to people unless provoked to or at least one of them gets hurt.

-Their mother had passed away due to an accident and was gone for the majority of the children's life yet still lives on by their father telling stories about her.

-Their father was a busy man but will always make time for his children, he trusts them enough to let them out of the house on their own or let them stay out passed curfew but only with his knowledge.

-Their father was a man who learns people's mentality for his gain but only when strictly necessary, he also protects his kids with his life.

-All siblings were abnormally attractive by kid's standards and would often be mistaken as models by many, Their dad was a big shocker to many people as well.

I got to know what's going on with Nega!Joey and Nega!Wally. What's their relationship like? How is their home life? What was Joey doing while Wally was unavailable? How and why did Joey join DNK ? Would Joey even have remembered his brother if he went away for years while he was a baby?

Again: sorry for using regular names and sometimes putting "negative" before, I already have problems with spelling, and doing that with inverted names is just impossible (cries in chaos).

Before we start, a little thing: the DNK actually stopped existing after operation P.O.O.L., and the kids decided to create something that could resemble the KND... buuut never actually worked because kids in that world are just too bad. So they called themselves Kids Next Door but did little to nothing to save kids. Penny was the one that, after convincing Wally, would bring the DNK back and keep it running even after Wally got incarcerated again by the GKND, that, in this world, ACTUALLY want to save planets from unruly kids and cruel adults. They actually believe kids and adults can live together and cooperate.

That being said, let's jump to NegaWally and NegaJoey.

Their family is a mess. Their father never spends time with them and actually thinks they're just mistakes and hates them to the core. Their mother tries her best to take care of them and protect them from Sydney, who won't hesitate to beat them, Wally especially. In this AU, the main reason Wally created the DNK was so his father would finally calm down and look at him as something more once he would have kids work for him. It didn't work, so he just went on and became even more unhinged and cruel to everyone.

When he was captured and sent to the Broccoli mines, he had time to study a new plan to take control of his minions and the world again. Meanwhile, Joey was left in a worse household, his father being even worse, drinking and beating both of them. Joey would grow up resenting him, resenting his mother, who he saw as a "pathetic passive coward" and his brother, who was always brought up as a joke because he failed his domain.

He joined the KND to escape his house, and after a bit no one would DARE to joke about his brother, because he would beat the shit out of them. He doesn't talk, and doesn't know ASL, so no one can communicate with him... but Penelope.

Penelope was the first one who actually talked about his brother as a hero, as someone to look up to. She was the only one he allowed to talk about Wally around him.

Wally returned home at 17, after 7 years in the mines, and he looked... different. He was calm, collected, didn't look like the ruthless leader everyone talked about. Well... until he broke his father's arm in front of them when he tried to hit him. His mother didn't allow Joey around Wally while he was at home after that, and Wally didn't seem too interested in Joey. He was more interested in Penelope, actually.

Negative Sector V 2.0 would be the key to lure the normal kids and teens into their world again, but this time it was the GKND of BOTH sides that would help stopping NegaWally again and this time, they would put him into a catatonic state so there was NO CHANCE he would try and do anything else.

Years pass, the DNK are still running because Penelope kept them up, using Joey as she pleased since the boy was in love with her. He's now cruel, violent, a silent rage ready to strike, ready to do anything for her, even... find a way to free Wally again.

The plan was started by Penelope, Joey would take "care" of any guard around and Nigel would finally wake Wally up so he could take his final revenge to the world. Both worlds, actually.

Joey was having second thoughts, and actually tried to stop Wally. To keep him under control, Wally forced him to kill their parents and burn their house down, just to then love bomb him so that Joey would see him as the only person in the world to depend on.

It worked.
