Neko! Nordic time! X Nordic headcanons!

This is how the Nordicats interact with their human counterparts.

Denmark absolutely loves Dencat. He loves energetic cats and Dencat certainly fits the bill. He would definitely buy a bunch of toys for Dencat and play with him.

Norcat absolutely despises Norway and vise-versa. Norway does this thing where he wears a hoodie back to front so he can put Icekit in the hood. Norcat hates this because Icekit is his kitten how dare this human pick up his baby. On the other hand, Norcat absolutely adores Iceland. He follows him around, sleeps in his bed, lays by the door until he comes home, everything.

Icekit doesn't mind being carried around by Norway and is in fact very happy with the hoodie arrangement. Icekit also really likes Sweden and always climbs up on his lap.

Swecat dislikes Denmark and Sweden. Sweden is a huge cat magnet and all the Nordicats like him, that's why Swecat hates him. As for Denmark, he's just too energetic. He doesn't particularly mind being pet by him though.

Fincat sticks by Iceland the most because a) he's a huge cat person and knows how to lure them in for pets and cuddles and b) he's the only Nordic Fincat isn't skittish around.

Norcat and Norway fight over Iceland and Icekit all the time. It's incredibly funny because this full grown man is being so damn petty to a cat that represents him. Whenever Iceland falls asleep on Norway's shoulder, Norcat attacks him because he knows Norway won't do anything about it. Norway holds Icekit out of Norcat's reach as he viciously claws at him. Norcat sits at the edge of Iceland's bed with Icekit snuggled up with him glaring at the door so Norway can't come in.

The fact Norway and Denmark cat might be Norwegian Forest cats while the others aren’t is so funny to me because LOOK AT THESE CATS

Nekotalia just being the nations pet cats has me wondering how they became their pets. Was it just like they found the cats appeared one day? Did they seek out their nation counterpart or did the nation just see the cat and adopt them.

The idea that these cats are just living their peaceful immortal lives, in a field or outside the back of a brewery and then one day get scooped up by some weird teenager who doesn’t die.

[My Hetalia Thailand Headcanon about his cat breeds in my head and fan fact some about cats in Thailand.]

(Disclaimer: This is my opinion about his cat and I'm not a cat breeds professional, I just share my fan fact about Thai cat story only.)

Hi, and Happy new year everyone! This is my first post for the year, I have my opinion about Thailand Headcanon about Thai cat breeds and Thai beliefs about cat breeds too. You can read about my Thailand Headcanon from this post:

Well~~! Lemme tell my fluffy Headcanon for healing you!

I. Thai cats breed originally have 17 breeds; those are lucky cats in Thai ancient cat book in Ayutthaya era or as known as Cat-Book Poems. Those cat breeds are popular such as Wichien Maat or Siamese cat (Thai: วิเชียรมาศ), Sukphalak¹ or Copper cat (Thai: ศุภลักษณ์), Konja or black cat (Thai: โกญจา), and Korat², Si sawat, or Malet⁴ (Thai: โคราช, สีสวาท, มาเลศ). However, in present day, you can find them are ancient cat breeds as Wichien Maat or Siamese cat, Sukphalak¹ or Burmese cat² or Copper cat, Konja or black cat, and Korat³, Si sawat, or Malet⁴ anywhere in Thailand. For other cat breeds for example Khaomanee or White cat (Thai: ขาวมณี) is existing in Rattanakosin era. In addition, these is a new Thai cat breeds in Bangkok in 2018 for 6-year ago. It called "Wila Krungthep" (Thai: วิฬาร์กรุงเทพ). However, Thai ppl who love cats, they are added Khaomanee in belief is lucky cat too. So, he might get positive energy by his cat. But he is adopted Wila Krungthep cat too.

II. Meaning for their cat breed's name that popular and ancient cat. They are meaning those:

"Siamese cat" in Thai name is "Wichien Maat" is meaning that "Diamond of moon.".

Copper cat in Thai name is "Sukphalak¹" is meaning that "the beautiful of appearance.".

White cat in Thai name is "Khaomanee" is meaning that "White diamond.".

ฺBlack cat in Thai name is "Konja" is meaning that "Crane" in Pali, or it might mean "Sound likes as peal.".

Silver-blue-gray cat in Thai name is "Korat²", "Si sawat", and "Malet", they are meaning; "Korat³" is meaning "Nakhon Ratchasima³.", "Si sawat" is meaning is "Love" and it is meaning "silver-blue" or "blue gray" too. And which words is "Malet⁴" is meaning "Flower⁴.".

Mocha cat or Brown-Gold cat in Thai name is "Wila KrungThep" is mean is "Cat of Bangkok.".

III. In ancient Thai ppl who believe in lucky cats those are popular Thai cat breeds for example on the post:

Wichien Maat or Siamese cat: wealth and healthy.

Sukphalak cat¹: Upgrading rank, wealth and fortune.

Konja or black cat: Successful and enhance power.

Korat² cat: Happiness and fortune.

Khaomanee or White cat: Support to luck.

(For Wila Krungthep that is not be sure how ppl thinks about this breed.)

IV. His boss as known as King Rama V, he was giving away his Wichien Maat cats with British ambassador in 1884 as Rattanakosin era (In my assumption it is during in 18th centuries.), in later, the ambassador jointed to cat contest at the Crytal Palace in London, England. That resulted is his cat won from that cat contest, it made they are called "Wichien Maat" that is "Siamese cat". In during 19th century, Cedar Glen Cattery who was bringing Korat cat to Oregon, USA in the first time, they were name "Nara" and "Dara" in 1959. And in 1966, People who was cat breeder in Maryland, they were used to Korat cat sent to contest. That result is their cat won, and it became to be popular from that day. Also, Korat cat is brought to Britain in British Cat Show contest, they were called "Blue Siamese cat.".

V. It is not Thailand only which wonder about Sukphalak Cat¹ and Burmese Cat² (Yep, it is me too, LOL), cause this cat breed is look as same but Burmese Cat² is not all copper and their feet are black. But Sukphalak Cat¹ is all copper body, and their feet is pink, however he doesn't care anything. Because he just wanna happy with them after he back from work. (Look at my illustration as sketch doodles below)

And the last my opinion.

VI. His Sukphalak cat¹ is named as cat called as "Thong Daeng" (Copper).

Well done, this is my Hetalia Headcanon about Thailand (Yeah, which is my country that I love and hate too. LOL) about his cats and some fan fact about Thai cat story too. However, it cannot to use in official reference. Enjoy with this cat or you can tell me about your cat story, if you are interested in belief or history about cats all around the world!

Sukphalak cat¹ is difference of Burmese cat² as Sukphalak cat is all copper body, amber eyes, and feet are pink. Meanwhile Burmese cat is not all copper body, gold eyes, and feet are black. (I'm wonder why foreigner called Sukphalak cat that "Burmese cat" or it maybe my data is fault, so, I'll do research it later.) Burmese cat² is not from Myanmar only, its origin from Thailand too. Because Thai Cat-Book Poems is told about this cat. (Lemme do research about it later with Sukphalak cat too.) Korat³ is ancient name is "Nakhon Ratchasima³.". It is province of Thailand; it is most popular province in North-East part in Thailand. Malet⁴ is originally word from "Malee" or "Mala" is meaning "Flower", in my opinion from Pali-Sanskrit.

I think he's a total animal lover in general, but yes, for sure, he's a big fan of cats and has owned multiple over the years. He loves to treat them like his babies and is probably the type to dress them in goofy outfits, the poor things.

He definitely has tons of pictures and videos saved of them, too.

Wha?- Here's Eloise Darcy, An Assistant and A Governess for young nations cus I don't belive that older nations have all the time in the world to teach the younger one's Of course there's more people like her. Working for Beilshmidt brothers. Assistant for Gilbert and a Governess for young Ludwig.

Her character belongs to a small AU that i'm writing that is focused on the human characters that would work with or for nations in the time of their existance. Its still a work in progress, She's the first one to exist in the universe so there probably will be more of them. I dont include characters like Lisa/Joan or other that alredy exist in the "Universe" of hetalia. This one's will be made up/ inspired by a historical characters. It all sounds really cheesy and i hate myself for it a bit but yeah

Lux sometimes tries on dresses from belgium and he feels completely confident in them!

Belgium notices this and gives him dresses as a gift almost every summer.

The neko versions of the nations also get fed by them. They get fed traditional dishes from those countries, obviously the cat friendly versions of them.

Nation people represent the government and the people. They take part in national holiday celebrations, in nation meetings and speak up about specific problems within the landmass of the country.

All nations own houses, or even more depending on their countries GDP.

I need the undying bond between humanity and their pets to be represented more with the Hetalia nations and their cat counterparts. Those little furballs are their besties forever. Through thick and through thin babey. Idc what you say but the bond between a person and their pet is unbreakable and if you don't think the nations love their cats (along with the rest of their pets) with all their hearts, f you.

-Dencat is the kind of cat that runs all the time, but always slips on the floor and falls on his side.

-Norcat's fur gets everywhere. You are never more than ten metres away from a Norcat hair.

-Fincat aggressively licks himself whenever he gets embarrassed.

-Swecat purrs whenever any of the other Nordicats rub against him.

-Norcat, being the fluffy lil guy he is, gets extremely hot in the summer and always lays on the tiles to stay cool.

-Icekit bites for fun. Just gnaws on the other Nordicats. They let him because he's a kitten.

-Fincat is the least graceful cat in the world.

-Icekit makes biscuits to fall asleep.

-Dencat loves annoying the others by purrposely lying on top of them.

first off with trans manlet gilbert: im projecting bros. but also?? i just find it super fucking funny. gilbert, with his personality, would absolutely HATE being shorter than other people AND not being cis, so i'm putting him through the torture chambers with this one - but i also think he'd be an absolute menace about it, y'know??

another thing is, i just like making every variation of prussia a tiny little shit in my brain (julia, teutonic order, nekotalia, etc.)

now i want to talk about trans manlet roderich because this one's interesting - i love this idea but i think gilbert would be transphobic about it which, in my brain, is funny as fuck (not condoning transphobia, this is for the sole purpose of how they mix like oil and water sometimes) because also in my silly little mind, this is caused by gilbert having internalised homo/transphobia........... and seeing how pruaus is like giving either of us crack, how the fuck would pruaus happen here???? enemies to mf lovers baby!!!!! along woth internalised homo/transphobia, i think gil would do this to try getting over any feelings he has for roderich which yeah. awful coping mechanism, GREAT GOING M8 👏👏👏

here r my thoughts but gil fucks off:

it makes sense. like rod is the kind of guy youll see and think, "oh, maybe? is he?" or, you'd just get confused about his gender (which im gonna be real actually slaps, its so funny when they're like "oh shit is that a dude or a girl.......... o_o"). but i also feel like he'd face so much transphobia which could explain why he wouldn't go outside often (evident by his lack of direction & introversion, imo. unless it was stated somewhere but shut up im braining) and probably wont until after he fully transitions which, fair enough.
