Kusanagi Nene as Yashiro Nene

The heroine of the story, and one who has been told again and again how dubiously fat her ankles are, much to her dismay. Nene first appears in the girls bathroom, where Hanako-san is said to reside and will grant her wish. After recovering from her shock over the ghost’s gender (and the fact that the rumor was real in the first place), Nene tells Hanako how she wishes someone would listen to her singing, finding the one person who would listen and take her places (preferably on a route to fame). In exchange for this wish, she is bound to Hanako as his assistant, allowing Nene to be around the ghost as if he were a solid person that lived right beside her.

When first introduced to Hanako, Nene is extremely weary of the ghost, fearing any further intentions he may have. But after adopting the “-Kun” suffix for him, her ease around him translated to her usual bluntness and sharp-tongued nature. She is less than happy with being the one who cleans toilets for Hanako and shows it through her attitude. But deep down, she does show compassion for the people who surround her through the course of the story, and she tones down her attitude toward Hanako after learning about his past from No. 5’s Yoshiro.

Some funny and cute head canon between hanako/amane and tsushigomori?

Yayayay I love their dynamic sm. The father/son duo ever. I’m gonna do a mix of Amane and Hanako headcanons bcuz their relationship at any point is so sweet to me

• So for AUs I think it’s super cute when ppl have Tsuchigomori adopt Amane (+Tsukasa)- or at least it would be, I don’t think I’ve seen any actual fics like that lmao. But for canon it’s definitely more of a “teacher you accidentally call dad” dynamic

• I still view Tsuchigomori as a father figure to Hanako but I think they’d both be very reluctant to admit it. I feel the need to specify that because fandoms tend to take parent/child dynamics and make them into super traditional families, which can be cute in AUs but sometimes for canon it takes away the nuance

• It’s the same as when I call Teru Kou’s dad, there’s more to it than that. Yes he is Hanako’s father, yes he is his teacher. Two things can be true at once

• Okay now that that’s out of the way, onto the headcanons

• Circling back to the first point, Hanako has accidentally called Tsuchigomori “dad” twice. Once as Amane, and once as Hanako

• As Amane it was a very emotionally heavy moment, when Tsuchigomori finished bandaging him up as usual. He gave him a mini lecture on standing up for himself, and Amane let out a quiet “Thanks, Dad”

• The minute he realized what he said, he bolted out of that classroom. He wouldn’t talk after that until Tsuchigomori reassured him they could just forget about it

• As Hanako it was more of a comical moment. He was hanging out with Tsuchigomori and Yako, annoying them as usual, but as he was getting ready to ditch them he said “See ya later, Dad”

• Everyone froze until Yako started laughing her ass off. Hanako quickly tried to cover it up but Yako wasn’t willing to forget it as easily as Tsuchigomori had been that first time, so he had to hide out in his bathroom for quite some time

• Yako started calling Tsuchigomori “Dad” too whenever she wanted to mess with him

• Tsuchigomori would try to help Amane make friends by pairing him with other kids for group projects. This always backfired, seeing as Amane had trouble socializing and was an easy target for bullying

• Sometimes he still tries to get Mitsuba and Mei to hang out with the kid so that he has more than two friends (one of which is his girlfriend)

• But progress is still progress and he’s obvi very happy to see that Hanako has made friends

• Hanako hangs out in Tsuchigomori’s office whenever he’s bored or sad

• When he’s bored he’ll just annoy him, telling him unfunny jokes and going on long tangents about whatever comes to mind. Tsuchigomori complains but never seriously attempts to kick him out

• When he’s sad about something, he’ll usually just sit at one of the desks or in the corner curled up in a ball. Tsuchigomori doesn’t comment on it, but he might give him a blanket and some candy, or a book to read

• Hanako tries to go to Tsuchigomori for advice on Nene, but Tsuchigomori’s love life is, frankly, pathetic, so really he’s the one who needs advice

• Some of the only times Hanako isn’t floating is when he’s running in the halls to provoke Tsuchigomori

• Every year on Father’s Day, Hanako brings Tsuchigomori a rock. He started this tradition as Amane and has kept it up all these years

• That’s not to say he didn’t love his bio dad, but he wanted to show appreciation for the teacher that looked out for him too

• Before they left school at the end of every day, Tsukasa would thank Tsuchigomori for “babysitting” Amane

• Hanako’s favorite books are the Sherlock Holmes series so Tsuchigomori lets him know every time the school gets a new copy

• He used to draw little smiley faces on Amane’s papers when he’d get a perfect score

• Amane would stay after school for tutoring even though he didn’t need it whenever things got too tense at home with Tsukasa and his parents

• Hanako frequently asks Tsuchigomori to update him on recent scientific discoveries. If anything major happens, Tsuchigomori will give him reading material

• Tsuchigomori was the one who taught Hanako how to use a computer

• Amane was always deathly afraid of asking questions or raising his hand in class, so if he had any comments he’d reserve them for when the rest of the students left (another method he used to delay going home)

• Amane strikes me as one of those kids who ate lunch with the teacher (ik it’s common for Japanese students to eat in their classrooms but this would be true even when his other classmates decided to eat somewhere else for the day)

• Before Nene came along, Tsuchigomori would encourage Hanako to clean his own bathrooms by giving him science and mystery books as allowance

• For Christmas one year, Tsuchigomori bought Hanako a toy rocket

• When Hanako needs to be cheered up, Tsuchigomori and Yako will play astronaut with him. Sometimes Yako pretends to be an alien, sometimes she’s part of the space crew, it depends on the plot

• Whenever Tsuchigomori is showing his class a movie, Hanako will sit in and watch

• Tsuchigomori has absolutely written “a pleasure to have in class” on one of Amane’s report cards

Write the kind of Nenes you want to write! And there are surely others here who are willing to engage with them, like me!

OOC: Yeppers! It really frustrates me when I see people, roleplay accounts or otherwise, trying to dictate how others roleplay on here. Just because you don't want to do angst doesn't mean you should rag on others who do want to. Just because you want to write your character as accurate to canon as possible doesn't mean you should bash people who lean heavily into headcanons.

If you want to avoid a certain type of roleplay, verbalize that somewhere easily visible, like your bio or pinned post. If you don't do that you have no right to be angry at someone for trying to interact with your account in-character. Yes, there are things that go too far (use common sense) but try to have empathy and acknowledge that if you don't have "do not interact with me if your headcanons/AU have anything to do with suicide/self harm/etc." there will always be a possibility someone will interact with you who writes about those themes.

When I first started this account I was rather determined to write Kotaro as canonically compliant as possible. I know everything there is to know about him in terms of canon information, after all!~ But the more time I spent here the more fun I had and the more opportunities there were to be creative. Why not have him and Ena (who is a nonbinary werewolf) be roommates? Why not make him genderfluid and have body image issues? Where is it written in canon saying I can't have these headcanons that make me and others feel seen and understood?

Establish your boundaries front and center when someone enters your account. Block people you don't want to interact with. Don't reply to threads that make you uncomfortable. Write your character the way you want to write your character and one by one the people who appreciate it will find you.

Mafurui or Mafuemu?

Yes to both, MafuRui will be in the reblogs of this specific post, anon!

Just a heads up: I am bias to MafuEmu, so this ship may be spoiled a little with 2 separate ideas. Version 2 is below cut because GOD I WROTE A LOT.

Version 1

Child(ren):

MafuEmu would have exactly 3 children, 2 of whom would be adopted from families who had the child taken from them by CPS. With Emu's familial fortunes, their biggest obstacle would 100% be Mafuyu and Emu's mental states. But they'd prove themselves in the end.

Their biological child would look like this, you can fucking fist fight me (if you know the game the design comes from, please remind me of it's name 😭)

Their bio child would be the oldest, and probably also the most unmoved by the sheer chaos of the adoptive aunts and uncles. "Oh, Uncle Rui made a new machine and Uncle Tsukasa tested it? Did he blow up again or was it not a trap?" Her name would be Yuuki (ゆうき), both as a verbal reference to Mafuyu's Nightcord name (Yuki) and due to the meaning of that specific kanji meaning "gentle hope". Emu would have suggested it with the approval of Mafuyu.

The first adopted child would probably be very much like Emu. To where Emu is instantly aware if she's masking with a smile and probably panic about how to get her out of the habit. Energetic and bubbly, they would ask if she wants to change her name, and with a yes, they'd change it to Awayuki (泡雪), meaning Bubble Snow in this specific instance. She's be tall, like Mafuyu, outgrowing all her family.

Their only son would be named Hiroki (広喜), essentially translating to large joy with that kanji pair. He would be a lot like Mafuyu, mostly with a hard struggle to express emotions properly. But he would still be verbally able to express joy and everything beautifully. Probably the shortest, just barely a few centimeters shorter than Emu. Absolutely the type of person to look you dead in the eye as he describes the details of the meal you made him while forgetting to blink.

Headcanons:

Emu, during the first few months of being a mother to Awayuki, would have breakdowns because she would see herself in the child a lot. Mafuyu would take approach in steps. "Can I hold you? Yes? Okay. *holds* Can I kiss your forehead? Not now? Alright. Can I sing to you?" and so on.

The first time they all had a meal out, someone tried to comment on Yuuki and Awayuki. Mafuyu startled everyone around them by 100% speaking the exact same words at the exact same time as Hiroki as they told off the onlookers. Emu nearly had a panic attack because of how unsettling it was. As well as had to explain the whole thing to the two of them.

Mafuyu has a list of rules for Rui, Taukasa and Mizuki to follow in their house and while taking care of their kids. Most of them are aimed at Rui not exploding things or even joking about it. One is Mizuki can't take them to SEKAI. The last one is only for Tsukasa: "If we get a complaint from the neighbors about noise, you're never coming over again. So keep it down."

Emu hasn't taken the kids to the Wonderland SEKAI, but she has introduced her whole family to the VS of it. Often times, they'll have Kaito and Meiko babysit with Nene, having exported "The World Hasn't Started Yet" onto every electronic in the house (along with a bunch of other songs that are very similar in name and music, and a COVER of the song SEKAI is) so the Virtual Singers can be hop from room to room fast.

When Emu and Mafuyu need a desperate break, they call Honami and Kanade over to babysit and pop over to Empty SEKAI to rest for a while. This is why Mafuyu doesn't take them to the SEKAI.

Version 2

Child(ren):

The two don't have kids, but Emu's job at PXL has evolved into teaching children and a teaching career she adores. Mafuyu focuses of music mostly. The two have one retired service cat and one active service cat, a retired service rabbit and a service ferret.

Emu also actively performs for charities and many other events, all of which end up bending to her rule of "let service cats in or no Otori Emu", on the off hand chance Mafuyu wants to go see the show.

Headcanons:

Mafuyu tends to stay in the house.

People were surprised to hear Emu needed service animals, let alone that she had a rabbit as one at one point and has her active one be a ferret.

Mafuyu and Emu unwind by physical touch and quality time. Mafuyu will braid and clean and mess with Emu's hair, while Emu will then draw with her finger on Mafuyu's hand as they cuddle.

Emu convinces Nene, Mizuki and An all to get her information on how to propose to Mafuyu. What sort of ring Mafuyu would want, where would be best, what sort of gesture... Meanwhile, Mafuyu just gets a ring and asks Ena to get Emu's schedule. Emu only barely manages to beat Mafuyu to the question and the two of them end laughing and enjoying the night.

Mafuyu has and would again thrown a slipper at Rui because he "broke in". (He did not break in, Emu lent him a key because she was going out of town for a day or two with her family and wanted Mafuyu to be checked in on for meal eating.) (Mafuyu did not believe him until Emu told them Rui wasn't lying about the key.)

Destiny is one of the many characters from Pico's School,having a close relationship with Pico,Nene and Darnell.Although she attends another school in Philadelphia,named "Philadelphia Boarding School".Debuting of her own spin off game "Destiny's Rumbling Fist Fight",Destiny an extreme masochist,enjoying the feeling of blood on her and the sight of gore,and goes insane when exposed to it.This is further proven in Destiny's Rumbling Fist Fight,where she ends up going on a homicidal rampage after accidentally going to far and killing one of the students.

Destiny is also said to be deathly allergic to peanuts and nuts,as her head will explode when eating them (idk why I made this canon lol)

Heritage:

Destiny is known for having a both a Jamaican and African American heritage; her unnamed mother being African and the unnamed father being a Jamacian man.Destiny is also known for being raised in a Christian household,but she had later grown out of the religion in her adult years.

Personality:

Destiny is a very trigger-happy masochist,and is said to try and fight of the intense masochist tendencies but can never really fight them of,leading to her taking on a much more violent approach.Destiny also has a high intellect of 247; however she doesn't enjoy school,usually sneaking out to go somewhere other than what she likes to call: "Some fancy ass load of shit.".

Abilities:

Destiny's greatest strengths are known to be hand to hand combat,as she is said to have trained in kickboxing since early childhood; taking on gymnastic classes later on.These could be a reason for her skill in flexibility and strength when faced with combat.And Destiny always has some sort of weapon with her due to past trauma,like knives that are usually tucked away under her skirt.She heavily enjoys being the cause of pain and blood,her masochist desires growing when experiencing the feeling of blood on her.

Relationships:

Pico - The two are said to be good friends,Destiny sneaking out of her school just to go hang out with him and the others.Outside of school hours,Destiny and Pico enjoy hanging out along with Darnell and Nene,usually getting into crazy shenanigans and memorial adventures.Although,it could be hinted that Pico could have small feelings for Destiny. As in the Pico 2 demo,he expresses his concern when Destiny demands for him to leave the school after the Ghettobots attack.

Darnell - Darnell and Destiny are confirmed to be friends,but are never seen taking that much.However,Destiny enjoys building pipe bombs and other items to support Darnell in his pyromaniac needs.This could hint the two still get along on some cases.

Nene - The two are stated to have a rocky relationship,having been stated frenemies.The reason for their relationship remains unclear,however it could be due to different beliefs and interests that the other disagrees about.

History:

Destiny's Rumbling Fist Fight

In her debut,Destiny's Rumbling Fist Fight,Destiny gets into a small quarrel with some students that have been causing trouble for her in school.She then battles them on in one of the alleyways of her school,using hand to hand combat and random items scattered around her to her advantage.Although she ends up going to far,accidentally killing one of the students and being exposed to the blood seeping out of them.This then triggers her more masochist side as she goes on a homicidal rampage,killing the remaining students and about 3 other teachers who attempt to stop her.Once she calms down,Destiny observes the brutal gore before her eyes,as well as her now blood stained school uniform.Panicked,she stated how her mom will freak when she sees Destiny's bloodied uniform (as if that was more important than the massacre she had committed) and then hurriedly leaves the scene to clean up.

Pico's School

In Pico's School,despite not being physically seen,she is briefly mentioned by Pico after he killed Cyclops,stating that "Thank fuck Destiny isn't here,she would've gone crazy at the sight of all that blood!"

Pico 2

In the demo for the cancelled Pico's School sequel Pico 2,Destiny isn't seen until Pico goes to search around Philly.There,he sneaks into the school to see Destiny and explain the situation with the Ghettobots,catching Destiny bunking class in the toilets.Their conversation is cut short as gunshots and screams are heard outside in the school hallways as the two discover that the Ghettobots have invaded Destiny's school in search for Pico.Enraged,Pico takes out his uzi and states of how he will take care of the Ghettobots as he heads towards the door.But Destiny blocks his way,complaining of how the Ghettobots are only here for Pico and how he should just leave the school; adding that she will take care of the Ghettobots herself.Despite his protests,Pico is forced to leave the school.But if Pico decides to come back to the school after the Ghettobots leave,he can spot Destiny's dead body in the school hallway admist the many other corspes; indicating that her plan of taking on the Ghettobots didn't go so smoothly.

Newgrounds Rumble

In Newgrounds Rumble,Destiny appears as a playable character,using mostly hand to hand combat in fights (though in some of her moves she gains twin sais).She enters the battle to become "King of the Portal" to prove she could be worthy of being in such a powerful position,along with her dream of manipulating the world to her desires.

Friday Night Funkin

In Friday Night Funkin,Destiny is shown attempting to kill BF (and even GF) for money Daddy Dearest promised her,though she didnt get angry when Pico failed to get the money,maybe just a bit disappointed.

Destiny and Pico didn't officially date until after entering their early years of adulthood,Destiny not confessing until later because she had been afraid of rejection. However,Darnell and Nene are not aware of Destiny's and Pico's romantical relationship.

Destiny also simply likes being an assassin as it is an excuse to kill people (she would be fine living without that job) but would refuse to kill innocent people; she wants to be the reason a bad person suffers and experience death.

"What fun is it to kill some random person for living? I want to be the reason a disgraceful person experiences pain and rots into the ground.Otherwise you can count me out."

Enhanced Strength Pico’s strength surpasses those of the average human. For instance he is able to pick up objects that weigh more than him. Enhanced Agility Pico possesses agility that surpasses that of the average human.

Enhanced Roar Pico is able to roar at a high frequency, said roar is able to break objects and even shake the ground around him. Night Vison Like most dinosaurs, Pico has excellent eyesight. Excellent enough to see even in low-light conditions.

Bonus Notes (More to possibly be added in the future)

While Pico was born to weredinos, he is currently raised by the humans John and Steve (from Tankmen), as he lost his parents during an alien invasion in his old home of Pennsylvania led by Cassandra. After the invasion was stopped, he was adopted by John and Steve and they moved to New Salem.
