what i think about the ORE'N shutdown

my main concern is how much information and lore will still be available. the OB1 website is still up after all this time, so i assume the official ORE'N website and notion site will also be maintained. the notion site Monster VIsual Dictionary has the base card illustrations. individual players upload their gaming sessions onto youtube, so there's plenty from where i can search for cut-ins.

something that i think might be taken for granted is the design of the user interfaces, like the battle ui, shop ui, map ui, collection ui, and the card/character info ui, etc. ive only really seen the battle ui because most ORE'N videos ive watched are, well, battles. recording yourself looking around the map or sorting your card collection is boring, but it's still part of the game. alright, this part turned into me wanting to know what the uis look like, but theres still the point that their appearance should get recorded.

and theres the ongoing story subplots that i remember off the top of my head that i hope will be resolved nicely:

remnants of Smirnoff's army and allies after he was defeated

Chapter 1 invasion of Sakyou and the NEO Onmyoudou School, whatever Aisa is searching for (invasion itself seems like its at the climax and will be done with first out of the ones im listing)

Evil God Satako's summoning shenanigans and Otocadoll

Radio Wave Girl Lemon/Mao da Ze!! sequel

whatever Missanga is doing after defeating Smirnoff and learning from Hien

past Anel's sudden reappearance, Coda, Gypse, and Selenite

im also curious about the part of the worldbuilding where theyre putting more emphasis on alternate dimension stuff recently with the introduction of Satako and Lemon. the fact that they set ORE'N in another word has a lot of potential and it should be used for a lot more things than throwback crossovers.

lastly since Sakyou has already took about 3 months by now, there might be time to cram 2 more chapters in before January 2026? or maybe since live service game events are planned ahead of time, they could change schedule and release what they already have prepared at an accelerated rate before shutdown. i should probably listen to the twitter spaces livestream archive to know some answers to my questions.

Season 6 episode “Alone in the woods” is the best episode by far. I really like when they do more unique stuff with the Grimm, other than just ‘monster’

My Underdeveloped Eddsworld AUs

Like most people on Tumblr, I made my own Eddsworld aus. However, most of them were pretty underdeveloped. I’m gonna share them anyways lol.

The Tordverse

This was my first. It’s basically spiderverse but with Tord only. It was very random and pretty old, as you can see.

I made three variations of Tord for it. And that’s about it.

Neoworld

My second AU, this time based on the FnF Neo mod. It had a lot more thought out into it than the rest of them.

Edd can summon rollerblades and messes in Fl Studio. Matt can create clones of himself. Tom has his monster form, except he got it from running into Neo Lemon Demon, and Tord leads a gang for control over the city.

Hello Everybody. My first Webcomic is wrapping up so I want to get started on my next project. And I want y'all lovies to have a hand in helping me choose, as I have way too many ideas and not enough time to do them all. I have a poll down here, but I will also be looking at the comments to see what people say. But here is some more information on each one to help you decide.

1. Detective Bigfoot Season 2: The adventures of the cryptid conspirator continue as Biggby ventures on a round the world mystery that leads to him making new allies, new foes and dealing with old problems. As he deals with other cryptids and unravels the truth behind some of the world's most mysterious locals. What mysteries will answer his search and what answers will lead to more questions?

2. The Jacks of All Trades: Jack, Jackie and Jax are siblings living together yet none have a real job. Jack does temp work for insane professions, Jackie participates in strange medical studies and Jax reviews wacky online products. Yet someone despite being so different form each other their worlds always find a way to collide in the most crazy matter.

3. Trash Heaps: An evolution of a superhero team concept of mine. A young woman inherits a garbage dump only to find it's items have come alive. Bonding with a loud mouth sock she takes the responsibility of joining with the denizens of the dump and becoming a superhero. Together she and her team fight villainy of all sorts in heroic adventures.

4. Coldstar: The world is a cold and cruel place. Especially when its a artic hellscape with it's only living souls being hyper evolved artic animals . The smallest of them all being a young lost prince on a terrible journey to reclaim the frozen throne and bring peace to the world. But gods and monster are out to stop him and there is world to the dead planet that he knows.

5. The Last Human is a Delinquent: Saxon Black is a punk teen is sent via a time travel experiment gone long to the far future beyond time and space where humanity is but a legend and distant memory. Forced to attend a prestigious academy the young kid does his best to make all sorts of trouble only to experience cultural shock of the intergalactic portions.

6. Your Ice Cream is Melting: Neo is just a guy who only wants one thing and one thing only. Ice Cream! But no matter what, something always happens to get in his way, whether it be a robbery from a robot demon, being banned by an alien lemon from the store, or being forced to take care of a magic baby. Life is weird, but at least there's Ice Cream.
