one of my friends moved into an apartment with roommates who won’t let her keep a cat there without reporting it, so my roommates and i have been babysitting her teenage terror of a kitten for a couple months now. his name is velvet (the original owners thought he was a girl and my friend kept the name because she wants him to be gender non-conforming).

he will throw himself into the air and violently tackle your legs, he gets litter everywhere for some reason known to only himself, and he WILL steal food right off your plate right in front of you. he is the worst-behaved cat i’ve ever known. and we all love him so much.
