Obi-Wan calling Anakin an incontinent varlet for having slept with Padme. Anakin encountering fallout from Obi-Wan's drinking problem and calling him a ruinous butt. Luke lands on Dagobah and immediately calls Yoda a crusty batch of nature.

Leia is exempt. Her insults remain unchanged, *EXCEPT* she gets to say "Fuck."

i actually think the “i love you” / “i know” moment is THE pinnacle of romance for so many reasons because leia almost doesn’t say it because she’s terrified and she’s stubborn and han could so easily instinctively say it back to say it back but he doesn’t, he just accepts it. and holds it. and leia is about to watch yet another person she loves die, and he just wants her to know that it’s okay. and it leaves the moment so unfinished because he doesn’t say it back but that in itself is the most perfectly han thing because with that like little bit of cockiness he basically promises that he’ll be back to finish it. because when has he ever let her have the final word on the matter so easily? it’s the desperation of needing him to know her feelings and the calm and level acknowledgement of that fear and love that she’s been fighting and this very very subtle and quiet reassurance that it’s going to be okay. this isn’t the end. they literally just captured the exact push / pull, fear / stubbornness / longing that makes them so great in a two word response.
