"HA!! PRAISE ME!! I saved Christmas!!"
"No, you didn't. It's a six-point gap, and you contributed your first and only score of the entire event."
"Yes, but clearly, my last score is the most glorious score. And we still won. So suck my nuts, I'm awesome."
"Oh, for....
"Oh, hi, Fraulein Helen! Good to see you! Merry Christmas!"
"WHERE?!?"
Guy shoves snow down the back of Ruixiong's shirt the moment he turns around before shoving him into a snow bank. There is no Helen, by the way.
Ruixiong screams. "YOU'RE GOING TO GET COAL FROM SANTA FOR THIS, ASSHOLE!!"
"Jokes on you. As my gift involves fire, coal is the best present to give me. Also, Jewish. Never cared for Christmas anyway. Happy Shitscram or however that goes."

“Yes! I know how this game is played!” [Forte, never-took-a-lesson]
"I am happy to hear your memory has been jogged, heheh. I would be happy to invite you over and tell you about the history of my estate and the grounds I dwell on. I have kept much of the original furnishings in the best condition I could."
"But I am open to any other good excuses to talk."

“First of all, I must apologize for neglecting our lessons. I have not, as they say, much artistic muse as of late, much less any to spare to my students.” [dammit forte never-took-a-lesson, Forte Interaction Call]
"Oh, please don't apologize! I'm not upset in the slightest," she replied, shaking her head.
"I've been busy with my own work, but I've made sure to practice in what little spare time I have. Is there anything I could do to help you, though?"

Hi! this is kinda an art request if u dont mind. And it's angst related, can you draw like where wanda and cosmo obvs have seen for a while how (human) timmy has been treated by his real parents. I just want to see like the "last straw" which lead Cosmo and Wanda wanting them to make Timmy as their own. (IM HAPPY THAT TIMMY HAS A FAMILY THAT LOVES AND CARES FOR HIM)
The "Last Straw"?
Cosmo and Wanda have seen humans at their best. They've seen humans at their worst. They've seen anything and everything that they've gone numb and used to what humans get up to.
But nothing's shaken them quite like Timmy's case did. Nothing has ever made a Fairy feel such strong human emotions than what Timmy made them feel, on that one particular night.
The thing that broke Cosmo and Wanda was Timmy himself.

RULES OF BEING OTHERKIN #1
Being authentic and true to yourself is the only way you are 'supposed to be/act like' (insert entity). If anyone else disagrees it only tells you about them.

Jasmine Al Ghul
A while ago the perfect assassin was born, she was Talia's daughter but Ra didn't like the rebellious look in her eyes, they were claiming for destruction and he knew that she would do nothing but destroy the League as soon as she could.
So he rejected her as the heir, something Jazz grew to resent. When the twins Danyal and Damian were born, one was clearly weaker than the other, considering that he was born without breathing and was only saved at the last second.
This made Ra make his decision: Damian would be the heir and Danyal his shadow. But Danyal wasn't interested in killing, no matter how much he was punished for refusing, he wanted to see, to explore, to learn. Everyone could see it.
Because Damian was spending more time on heir training, Jazz devoted herself to taking care of Danyal. She tried to teach him but the boy kept refusing, failing over and over again in the most simply things, Jazz hated him.
Until she stopped hating and became fond of him, feeling a kinship because of their grandfather's rejection. Danny taught Jazz things she had never considered (love, stars, a new interest far away from training, find the meaning of life simply by living) and she made her decision: she would save the boy.
Jazz escaped with Maddie Fenton (one of Talia's students) seeing she wantes to save them too and could pass as their mother, she took Danny with her. She couldn't leave him in that place, she wouldn't forgive herself.
Of course, Damian grew to resent his younger twin for taking their sister away. Blaming him for being weak, why did Jazz leave him behind? He could be a good little brother too, he was better than Danyal! In everything!

Reading The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe with my son on Easter Tuesday and he was so shocked and confused and bereft when Aslan died. Then we had to stop for a very gloomy lunch before we could read the next chapter, and it hit me that he was getting a better understanding than anything we could have taught him about what the disciples went through on Easter Saturday. I mean, we had just been talking about it three days earlier, but of course when you know there's a happy ending coming, you don't really feel it. And Aslan was finally here, after all this hope and expectation, and he was meant to make everything all right again 😭 He'd even already made the connection to Jesus when the witch's gang were kicking and hitting and jeering at Aslan, but he never in his wildest dreams thought he would become alive again! The joy and wonder and absolute glee he felt in the next chapter — he figured it out just before it happened because he cottoned onto the homage — preached the whole thing more eloquently than I could ever have hoped. And oof, if I didn't feel it all with him, too, as if for the first time ❤️ Well played, Mr Lewis, well played.
Also yesterday I caught him saying "I say!" so a positive experience all round 😃

@never-took-a-lesson, where is Forte??
"We may not look like it, but my friend here and I serve as scouts in our crew. We even have a third scout who is a good tracker. Plus our Captain's deputy is capable of tracking souls, though she is not available at the moment."
Giovanni looks at Cogsworth somberly at Forte's desire for fleeing. "….I can relate…."
"I can too. Anyway we can, we'll help. As for this Rose-"
The two blink.
"You mean Kwame? Or is is Sanisavara?"
"Kwasan now. He slithered someplace in the deck, but he seems to come out on his own just fine. He's pretty much our ratter now. Though with my brother…. gone for the moment, we need to be extra careful around him lest we get bitten and, well.
"Die. Painfully."
"Why do you ask?" Giovanni inquires. "I think I at least saw his skin in between some furniture at the gun deck, but I will have to move things around to double-check."

I understand why they did the tennis scene the way they did in the death note music and I enjoyed it but imagine how funny it would've been if they'd given the actors a tennis ball to hit back and forth but they sucked. Epic tennis scene but the ball flies off into the crowd and they just have to keep going.
