It's never to late to get your life back!

ADDICTION it's a word most people don't want to even think about let alone admit that it effects them. Some in many more ways then others, and some alot worse then others. Like for me for example it took me years and years to admit that I had an ADDICTION, and even then my addiction wasn't that bad. I would always have to point out how the other addicts addiction's were way worse then mine. My addiction was not bad. Even after going to prison multiple times for multiples years, I always said my addiction is not that bad. "Look at him his is way worse then mine he got 6 years and I only did 4 so his must be a lot worse then mine. When I finally was fully honest with myself that I was an addict and I needed to do something to change my ways. At that point I thought I had my addiction beat and I was all good now because I finally admitted to myself that I had a problem and I had 24 hours clean. I'm fixed. Hahaha couldn't have been farthest from the truth. That very next day I thought I could celebrate with getting high just once. Wrong!! I can never just use once, it always ends up turning in to another and another. Another huge problem I had was now that I at least admitted I had a problem I thought thatnit only effected me. WRONG AGAIN!! it effected everyone around me. Even the people I don't know. Addiction is a problem that effects most people one way or another. If it's not you, it's someone you know! So never be afraid to lend a helping hand to an addict or as for help of you yourself are and addict like me because we can't do it alone. Even lending a ear goes a long way. I'm not trying to scare anyone from seeking help or helping and addict in need but IT WILL GET BETTER BUT WONT NECESSARILY GET EASIER. Thanks for reading. Soooo. This is my very first post (ever!) i get my tumblr just to push myself to do stuff. I get inspired all the time by precious people posting their art, so here I am, posting my first attempt of illustration for Inktober. The first theme ir Ring and it couldn't be more accurate for me. I will keep trying.

Smart

When life begins they teach us by illustrating what they are doing and we simulate back what we see. This begins the process of becoming independent,  having the tools to be smart enough to make our own decisions. When we feel smart this builds our confidence conquering what we want for our lives. It takes layer upon layer to learn all that is needed to become successful and make smart decisions. Learning takes time and discipline to have all the information to see the smart choice. 

The school system rates our level of excellence in academics by grading our papers. This starts telling us how smart we are in certain areas of academia or “point of time” in our lives. We all learn at different rates and could of been told we are not smart enough. Knowing we can learn opens up opportunity and builds self esteem. No one is smart enough to know everything and we get energy from learning. Energy is imperative to move forward and to stay with it.

Become smart,

Builds self esteem

Learning is the fuel.

We never stop learning and is essential to our happiness. When we feel smart we can conquer with all the courage to get there. Our mind loves to learn  creating energy to move us positively in the direction we choose. Don’t be a smart aleck to be seen, show how smart we are by what we do.

Cold thoughts

Cold as ice, hot as fire. Powerful like the ocean, grounded like the earth. Trying not to give in to all the forces that tell me you can't no more. Turn the page, new chapter. Light a candle, new scent. Open window, cool breeze sneaks in. Never ending questions about life that keep me up late. Searching for answers that leave me with more questions. Time is valuable, you cannot take it back. Focus on unlocking the key to utilizing it. Wrap myself in my blanket late at night, say a little prayer, that I dream peaceful tonight.
