I feel like we don’t actually talk about the environmental impacts of Taylor Swift enough. and I don’t mean just singling her out for her private jets usage (which is absolutely an issue!!!) but it’s so much more than that alone! it’s the tours (the travel for fans & crews & the band & everyone, two of the exact same massive stage being carted around the world, the wastefulness of everyone dressing up & the friendship bracelets & the cheap materials that are bought for a cutie little outfit that is worn once and then thrown out, stadium food & drinks, the trash left behind in & out of the stadiums, the truly absurd amount of costumes that she herself has, and so on and on and on and on), all the merch (the polyester and acrylic and oh the goddamn cardigans and oh my no one ever needs all that merch, ever!), the CDs and vinyls and all the stupid fucking variants, etc etc etc it’s the Brand of Taylor Swift as a whole that is adding so much destruction and waste to the world.

and god, yes, I know that Taylor Swift is not the center of the universe and that she is not responsible for every little thing in the universe and that large corporations are the biggest polluters and cause the most environmental destruction but she is absolutely a huge part of the issue and she needs to take some fucking responsibility!!!

the ttpd enjoyer in me loves the addition of it to the setlist but the autistic in me hates every other change that took place to get it there
