the thing is that i grew up drawing nothing but avatar the last airbender which is a problem because ive gotten obsessed with miraculous ladybug. avatar has a lot of baggy and layered clothes + armor. and miraculous is nothing but body suits with like nothing else. no extra details. i think to myself 'this time ill draw the miraculous characters as accurately as possible to the show' and then 2 minutes later they've got 3 layers on + knee high boots. i physically cannot leave ladybug shoeless it goes against all my sensibilities.
