A = Attractive (What do they find attractive about the other?)

Your mind. He’s fascinated by the way you look at the world. Also how much you can care about others if they’re close to you.

B = Baby (Do they want a family? Why/Why not?)

He definitely would love the idea of a family with you; but that’s just the case if you want to start a family as well. He’d never push you to any decision.

C = Cuddle (How do they cuddle?)

I don’t think that Newt has really a preference. As long as it’s you and him in the end of the day, he’d be happy. But I can also imagine that he loves to be the big spoon, but from time to time enjoys laying on your chest and listening to your heartbeat while intertwining his hand with yours.

D = Dates (What are dates with them like?)

Newt gives me the vibes of enjoying dates inside most of the time. Like sitting inside of his flat and talking about life, his time at Hogwarts... you name it. Sometimes he’d be up for a walk in a forest or just a walk in the green.

E = Everything (You are my ____ (e.g. my life, my world…))

Love

F = Feelings (When did they know they were in love?)

He knew he fell in love with you when he talked passionately about his creatures and you didn’t interrupt him once but instead just looked at him in awe.

G = Gentle (Are they gentle? If so, how?)

Definitely!! Waking you up with soft kisses telling you that breakfast is ready, giving you his shirt when you come out of the shower... for Newt it’ll be all about the small things.

H = Hands (How do they like to hold hands?)

As Newt would see his partner as an equal, there would never be a more dominant part in holding hands. He’d just intertwine your hands and maybe streaking your hand with his thumb.

I = Impression (What was their first impression?)

He was quite neutral towards you at the beginning. Newt was stunned by your character, but wasn’t holding up too much hope that something could happen between the two of you

J = Jealousy (Do they get jealous?)

Sometimes. Especially when Theseus is around. Newt is used to getting called weird or annoying so he would worry about it that you could start to like someone else who’s more “normal”.

K = Kiss (How do they kiss? Who initiated the first kiss?)

Newt kisses softly. It can get more eager sometimes but he often checks up on you if that what he’s doing is fine. Often, one of his hands would be on your cheek.

The first kiss was initiated by the two of you. Newt leaned more into you while you always looked at his lips.

L = Love (Who says ‘I love you’ first?)

You.

It’s not that he doesn’t love you. He for sure does!! When these words fell from your lips while being already half asleep on his chest, he’d blush and also be a bit startled. But Newt would go through your hair softly with his hands and tell you, that he loves you too.

M = Memory (What’s their favourite memory together?)

The pair of you going down into Newts case and having a late night Picknick with the Mooncalfs. You had such a bad day at work and not even your favourite book or snack could fix your mood. Newt was busy writing his book so you didn’t want to bother him. But little did you know that he was actually preparing the Picknick and arguing with the Niffler to not interrupt the pair of you once you’d be down in the case.

N = Nickel (Do they spoil? Do they buy the person they love everything?)

He doesn’t. It’s not about materialistic stuff for Newt. He’d bring you a single flower from time to time which you would always press until it’s dry and keep it as a bookmark.

O = Orange (What colour reminds them of their other half?)

Green.

Just because you’re different. You’re like refreshing to him. You don’t push him away which makes you special from all the rest.

P = Pet names (What pet names do they use?)

My love, darling, sweetheart

Q = Quaint (What is their favourite non-modern thing?)

I’d say kissing your hand and knuckles.

R = Rainy Day (What do they like to do on a rainy day?)

Sitting on the couch together by the fireplace, sipping tea and reading books or simply talking to each other while some of his beasts would be near the pair of you. Like, we all know that Pickett would probably sit on his shoulder.

The both of you also enjoy going to the basement of Newt’s flat and taking care of his creatures. But you’d do that all the time :D

S = Sad (How do they cheer themselves/others up?)

When Newt is sad, he wouldn’t want to put the pressure on you. So he always vents to his creatures first and would talk to them or simply care for them. But you would notice his behaviour of course and ask him what’s wrong. So Newt would tell you at the end most of the time.

When someone else or especially you is sad, he would bring you your favourite creature, make you your favourite meal or hot drink. After he’d realise that you calm down a bit, he’d ask if you want to talk about it.

T = Talking (What do they like to talk about?)

Obviously, his work and book. The places he already visited and stories he experienced.

U = Unencumbered (What helps them relax?)

Sometimes, it can just be your slight touch on his chest or hands. Or just hearing your voice while you talk about your day. But he gets deeply relaxed when you scratch his head slightly while his head is laying in your lap.

V = Vaunt (What do they like to show off? What are they proud of?)

Newt is definitely proud of his case and the creatures he got. Nevertheless, he’d never see the creatures as his property.

W = Wedding (When, how, where do they propose?)

Newt would propose to you after four to five years into your relationship. He’d take his time just to prove himself that you’re his missing half.

He would make himself extremely nervous because he thinks he has to do something big out of it. However, in the end Newt doesn’t need to worry about how he could propose to you as a baby Niffler steals the ring so Newt chases the small guy and of course, you’d try to help him. In the end, you catch the baby Niffler and tickle his belly and the ring falls out of his pouch.
