I have very important news to report. I have started a hockey card collection. I am now addicted to opening those little packs. Here are the Penguins I have:
LOOK IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT. GOT HIM TEN MINUTES AGO. IM SO HAPPY.
I found some cool finds at a thrift store today and they were three dollars each!
First is a Jaromir Jagr figure from 1997
Second is a Steve Yzerman figure from 1999
Third is a Eric Lindros figure from 1998
Fourth is a Jeff Hackett figure from 1999 and his mask is removable!
Finally I also found a box of hockey cards that are from the same set that I found a month ago at a different thrift store. I am wondering if the final six cards I need are in these packs. The box of cards was twenty dollars. Edit: I got the last six cards I needed in this box I have the whole series!
I wasn’t going to make a one post about Bad Omens ( mainly Noah ) and Elias Pettersson from Vancouver Canucks together but anyways here it is. Its just seems fitting since all of this happening at the same time.
Seems like a lot of people don’t get that people who are in the public eye get burnout also. It’s easy for fans to say for them to say get over it and move on but you can’t. Everyone needs to rest and acknowledge what best for them for mental health or health reasons. It’s not just about being burnout but it’s about your performance mental state of feeling pressure from the media and fans.

Hopefully Elias Pettersson will get the help he needs to be healthy again for the next upcoming season and the right mental state.
I went to a thrift store today and for 20 bucks I got a box of Topps 1992 stadium club hockey cards. They may have been sealed packs but I just had to know what cards I had (I’m sure collectors are mad at me already but I wasn’t going to sell them anyway because I don’t have any cards that are that old in my collection as most of my cards are newer series ones).
Among the ones I got some notable ones were a Mark Messier Rangers card, Patrick Roy Canadeiens card, Sergei Fedorov Red Wings card, Claude Lemieux Devils card, Mario Lemieux Penguins card, two cards of Gretzky when he was on the Kings, Keith Tkachuk when he was on the Jets, and some Nordique cards, North Stars, and Whalers. I got cards of every single team (there were 24 at the time).
