So, since I started talking about other groups «Children of Nibiru», I would also like to talk to you about «Mystery Gang». This is a group of cowboy girls, whose first image appeared in episode 10 of the second season called «Night Terrors».

So, let me introduce you to the members of «Mystery Gang»:

Vanessa: Leader of the group. Fred's equivalent.

Hildegarde: Local beautiful woman. Equivalent of Daphne.

Leslie: Short smart girl with glasses. Equivalent Of Velma.

Carley: Tall girl. Equivalent of Shaggy

Tiny: Bull mascot. Equivalent of Scooby-Doo.

So, the pressing question:

«What do we know about the members of «Mystery Gang»?»

Well... Practically nothing, but we can say that:

A. They were cowboy girls group with bull mascot.

B. They were one of the «Children of Nibiru».

C. They owned Segundo Llave.

So, that's really not enough. And it is at this moment that headcanons come into play. First of all, as we know, «Children of Nibiru» were subjected to various manipulations by Evil Entity, so that they especially lead it from the sarcophagus to CRYSTAL COVE. And so I think that ALL groups that existed after «Hunters of Secrets» lived in Crystal Cove (which is quite logical, since before the appearance of Iron Will Williamson Crystal Cove was quite a criminal city).

Yes. I think «Mystery Gang» lived in Crystal Cove or around the city. Putting it on the landscapes, I can conclude that they lived in a desert area (logically). I took a little closer look at the mountains and noticed that they are very similar to the vicinity of Scorpion Wells, a city near Mount Diabla.

So, yeah, I think that «Mystery Gang» either lived in Scorpion Wells or often visited this city, because in their time there could be many mysterious incidents there.

My headcanon number two: They were familiar with Iron Will Williamson. He appeared in Crystal Cove at about the same time as the «Mystery Gang» existed. He monitored the order in the city, and they monitored the order outside this.

on the one hand i'm like, i know there are some pretty obvious reasons Powerful Cosmic Big Good Beings(tm) in fiction tend to in fact be some of the worst bastards in a series, and my sentiment toward them ends up being I'm Going to Fucking Fight You Actually.

namely: they usually have enough power to do some absolutely horrific stuff--through action, inaction, or both--on a massive scale. like full-on 'pokemon villain you have to stop from causing the apocalypse at the climax of the game, because they've decided they have the right to make that call and have gotten their hands on the means to do it.' and often the call that the Big Good makes is portrayed as the right, justified, well-informed thing, which inevitably ends up revealing some pretty disturbing beliefs on the part of the creators.

often they mean well and just haven't thought it through, but a lot of people are operating on some real pokemon villain shit that they haven't questioned yet because it hasn't come up in a context extreme enough to follow to its logical conclusion. 'if you could press a button to kill every trauma survivor in the world to end their suffering, would you?' is not a situation most people will ever be in, and put in those terms they might realize how monstrous that would be and say no. but they might have the philosophy in the back of their head somewhere, influencing their beliefs and interactions with the world, that survivors would be better off dead than traumatized but alive, and that someone else could ever have the right to make that decision for them.

speaking of which. a major reason i have mixed feelings about the ending of sdmi is that the new 'happy' timeline is portrayed with a deep, creeping sense of loss and unease, which seems intentional; otherwise it would just be incredibly upsetting and i would straight up hate it with a passion. whereas i am REALLY bothered by the fact that the nova entity is treated as a kind, benevolent guiding force to lead the heroes where they need to go, and not the single most evil motherfucker in the show surpassed only by the nibiru entity.

she directly, intentionally orchestrated the genocide of an entire timeline, up to and including literally erasing them from existence. she manipulated a bunch of children into doing this without telling them what would happen. the gang are the sole survivors of the murder of every single person they ever knew, and they will have to live the rest of their lives knowing the nova entity used their hands to do it. the only real way she was 'better' than the nibiru entity here was that she decided to cleanse the world with fire so she could make some new people to be happy, instead of ending the possibility for happy people to exist ever again.

like. the nova entity would actually make a fantastic villain played as a foil to the nibiru entity. god damn.

eldritch cosmic Big Good characters are usually treated as some kind of, like, force of nature that arbitrates what the ideal world would look like, and maybe just needs some help from the heroes to make it happen. at worst, they're treated as being too eldritch and above the understanding of mortals, mutual or otherwise, to be held accountable for the decisions that they make. at worst in that case, the heroes are frustrated with them for not being much help, but then things just move along and that stops being considered a Relevant Issue to Address. maybe, maybe the results of those actions are treated as a bad thing, but the person actually responsible gets off squeaky clean.

the consequences of the noventity ending the world are unnerving and bittersweet at best, and the uncomfortable question is left in the air of whether the gang might have done things differently knowing this would be the outcome. the noventity herself is a benevolent hero who saved them all in the end.

and like. that's not how it works. if you're a person making decisions, you are a person making decisions. you are accountable for those decisions. there are a lot of really, really interesting stories to be told exploring the nature of that dynamic with '''higher''' beings who really are working on a different scale than us--with maybe a genuinely deeper understanding of a lot that's going on in the world, just from time, experience, and capacity to hold and process information--and still don't get to decide what's best for us.

i am both fascinated by the potential for stories like that and really frustrated by the way they're handled in fiction, and the way that plays out tends to treat them as Not Actually People and therefore Not Actually Characters, which means it's easy for them and the bullshit they do to blend into the narrative unless you deliberately stop and turn the spotlight on them. so i do.

on the other hand, it is really funny to me that in practice this means my response to Big Good Entity characters is consistently just

Anunnaki 𒀭𒀀𒉣𒈾 Talon Abraxas

Mainstream historians and archaeologists regard the ‘fertile crescent’ between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers in what is now Iraq as the “cradle of civilization.” Between 4000 and 1900 BC, this area was the home of the Sumerian people of Mesopotamia. Virtually nothing was known about Sumer until its archeological discovery 180 years ago.

The Sumerians were extraordinary people. They supposedly created an advanced civilization when most of the world still lived in the Stone Age. Yet, despite all their accomplishments, and according to conventional history, Sumer grew out of a collection of hunter-gatherer clans who banded together to form the first human civilization within the Tigris-Euphrates Valley around 4000 BC.

So, what and who enabled the sudden initial spurt of civilization in Sumer six thousand years ago?

The Sumerians invented the first known writing system using a cuneiform script on clay tablets. These tablets were kept in large libraries. About 500,000 of these clay tablets have now been found.

Through these clay tablets, as well as cylinder seals, and stele, the Sumerians provided a richly detailed version of humankind’s early history — including the creation story of both Earth and humans. There are startling and numerous similarities between the Sumerian creation stories, later Babylonian myths, and the subsequent Judeo-Christian Bible verses. Virtually every story in Genesis originates in ancient Sumer.

Deciphering the Cuneiform Texts

In 1976 — after studying Sumerian cuneiform tablets and carvings for 30 years — noted scholar, academic, researcher, and author Zecharia Sitchin published his translations of the ancient Sumerian texts in a series of books called “The Earth Chronicles.”

As deciphered by Sitchin — and confirmed by many other credible researchers — the Sumerian cuneiform texts describe an alien race known as the ‘Anunnaki’ who came to Earth thousands of years ago from their home planet, Nibiru (the legendary so-called 12th planet in our solar system).

The Sumerians texts describe the Anunnaki as coming to Earth on a special mission — to bring wisdom and to mine certain minerals. They had tremendous knowledge and power over the entire world.

And so, for your consideration — and according to the deciphered interpretations of the Sumerian clay tablets — what follows is a condensed version of the fascinating story of the Anunnaki.

The Anunnaki — Part 1

About 450,000 years ago, before the Great Flood and during Earth’s Pleistocene ice age, the Anunnaki arrived on Earth. These ancient astronauts established their initial base camp in Mesopotamia in the Fertile Crescent between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers.

Here they set up a mission control center, a spaceport, and mining operations. The supreme Anunnaki ruler, Anu, supervised the effort from the home planet of Nibiru as the Anunnaki began a systematic colonization of Earth under the leadership of Anu’s two sons, Enlil and Enki.

The Anunnaki gold mining operations

Over thousands of years (Earth time), the Anunnaki established a thriving colony. During this time, their focus was on their primary objective — gold. The Anunnaki sought gold for highly technological procedures to repair the degraded condition of the atmosphere on their home planet.

The extraction process on Earth proved inefficient and time-consuming when the Anunnaki attempted to retrieve gold only from the Persian Gulf. So, to ease the increasing rivalry between the half-brothers Enlil and Enki, their father, Anu, placed Enlil in charge of the Mesopotamian colony E-din (perhaps the basis for the biblical Eden).

Meanwhile, Enki led a foray to Abzu, or Africa, the “land of the mines,” — and eventually to South America — where he set up gold-mining operations. The mined ore was then transported from the far-flung mines by cargo craft back to Mesopotamia for smelting and processing into hourglass-shaped ingots called zag, or “purified precious.” Some of the actual ingots have been found in archaeological excavations.

The Anunnaki mined gold on Earth for more than 100,000 years until the rank-and-file Anunnaki — who were doing the backbreaking work in the mines — mutinied about 300,000 years ago. On top of the unrelenting toil of the mining operations, climate change presented many difficulties for these extraterrestrial colonists.

Enlil wondered aloud if there was not another way to mine for gold. At this point, Enki suggested that a primitive worker, called an Adamu, could be created to take over the difficult mining work. Enki pointed out that a primitive humanoid — hominin — was prevalent in Abzu (Africa), where he maintained a laboratory.

Human Genetic manipulation

Realizing the toll on the Anunnaki to mine the gold, King Anu and the Council on Nibiru was desperate for a different solution. They debated the morality of tinkering with a species. Enki argued that producing a hybrid — half Anunnaki and half primitive humanoid — would not be an act of creation but merely improving the existing species.

And so, Anu decreed that their eminent geneticist, Enki, would employ advanced genetic engineering to fashion an upgraded version of the primitive hominin by manipulating its DNA to become the new worker slave (the Adamu).

The genetic process

The Anunnaki medical officer on Earth was a female named Ninhursag. The Sumerian tablets describe how Enki and Ninhursag produced the first so-called ‘test-tube’ infant by combining DNA and creating a hybrid humanoid in the laboratory.

It is written that Enki and Ninhursag took the reproductive cell or egg from a primitive African female hominin and fertilized it with the sperm of a young Anunnaki male. The fertilized ovum was placed inside an Anunnaki woman who carried the child to term. And so began the creation of a new race of human workers (the Adamu).

The first hybrid human could not procreate. The Anunnaki had to constantly create new batches of human workers (the Adamu), which was time-consuming considering the timespan between in vitro fertilization and birth.

So, Enki and Ninhursag set about to create an Adamu that could reproduce itself. The result of their efforts was finally a male Adama with the ability to reproduce through sex with an Adama female. This was the final solution to the first modern human beings — the perfect slave race. An intelligent and subservient prototype was ultimately created that we now call Homo sapiens.

The new and improved hominin — the Adamu — Human 1.0

When the Anunnaki infused their DNA and genetic material, they effectively bestowed upon the new hominin many physiological features, strengths, and abilities not previously occurring in then-existing hominins.

The early Adamu that bred among themselves lived for hundreds of earth years. The Nephilim (half human and half Anunnaki) lived for thousands of years. All this longevity was thanks to Anunnaki genes. And in the opinion of ancient humans, the extreme life spans of the pure-blooded Anunnaki made them appear immortal.

One of the concerns of the Anunnaki, including Enlil, was that the new humans would want to live for as long as their pure-blooded Anunnaki overlords. As a result of this concern, the Anunnaki set about manipulating the DNA of humans to reduce their life span drastically and limit the total capacity of their brains.

The final genetic version of Human 1.0 incorporated these modifications. The Anunnaki denied Homo sapiens the intelligence and extreme longevity that the Anunnaki possessed because it did not suit their purposes. Homo sapiens were invented to be slave workers, nothing more.

What is often misunderstood about Human 1.0

The process described in the Sumerian tablets was a breeding program like what has been done and is being done today with various animals and humans by humans to improve the stock.

The skeptics of the Sumerian story about the origin of Homo sapiens should not lose sight of today’s knowledge concerning cloning, in vitro fertilization, genome mapping, gene splicing, gene sequencing, and gene modifications.

Only 30 years ago, the concept of gene manipulation would have been incomprehensible — even to the most learned scholar trying to interpret the Sumerian tablets. But today, the Sumerian account of modern human creation becomes more plausible.

Stories of the Anunnaki — Myth, Religion, or History?

As expected, it is highly controversial that the Sumerian cuneiform texts (as deciphered and translated by credible scholars) say that the Anunnaki were ancient astronauts that came to Earth to mine gold, impart great knowledge, and created Homo sapiens to function as slaves.

Mainstream scholars assume that the ancient Sumerians were talking about mythical, imaginary beings in their reference to the Anunnaki. But we should question why ancient scribes would have taken the time and effort to write down fables painstakingly. Is it not more reasonable to assume that they wrote down their stories to recount history instead of fanciful myths?

Many non-mainstream researchers have opened our eyes to a much more detailed and credible understanding of the human creation story — first recorded by the Sumerians long before it was plagiarized and transcribed as the Bible.

It is essential to understand that early on, the Sumerians never referred to the Anunnaki as “gods.” The reference to sky beings as “gods” was shaped by western and near eastern civilizations and religions that followed Sumer — including the Babylonians, Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, Judaism, and Christianity.

A better explanation of what transpired in the ancient past is that the original writings from Sumer were recordings of actual events. This history was later rewritten to form a distorted base for new religious cults — including Judaism and Christianity. The corrupted religious dogma was so different from the original writings that the early accounts in Sumer became viewed by today’s mainstream scholars as “mythology.”

The writings inscribed into ancient Sumerian clay tablets have much greater merit than the fantasies presented in the Bible. Also, the non-mainstream and credible interpretations of the Sumerian texts help to counter the highly questionable explanations which mainstream science offers as fact regarding the evolution of Homo sapiens and

Made Marion Development Update, August 2024

Official Will Route Release Window

I've checked in with the team and we aren't quite ready to release Will's route in (what remains of) the summer, but we're far enough that I have team buy-in on an official release window of the first half of October.

I'll have a more specific date once we begin our beta test in September, which usually lasts two weeks. I may release the first three chapters early for testers while I finish coding the chapters 4.

Will Chapter 3 will be fully written within a week from now. It turned out to be quite a beast. That means that Will's chapter 4s may be a bit shorter each than Robin's were, however, they will also be more different from each other than Robin's were. In fact, the love scenes and the climactic Chapter 4 action scenes are in completely different locations.

I'm going half-tilt on coding while I finish the script, and should have Chapter 1 fully coded soon, as well.

World Name Thoughts

Although the world in which Made Marion is set has three named countries: Avalon, Sunjata, and Nibiru, the world as a whole does not yet have a name.

I probably won't give it an in-universe name because its inhabitants primarily identify with their country of birth and don't really have a view of themselves as being on a planet in a system full of other planets. But still, since I'm planning to create multiple tales in this world (one for each country), I could use a name to call it for marketing purposes.

I've been putting this off for a while, but I'd like something with a historical/folkloric connection that deals with the number three OR that has something to say about the kingdom's themes - Sunjata, the Sun Lands; Avalon, the Middle Kingdom (light and shadow); and Nibiru, the Twilight Realm.

Right now I'm thinking perhaps "Triskelion," named after the Celtic triple spiral pattern. But I'm not 100% satisfied with that since I have two other countries that do not have Celtic inspiration (Sunjata is inspired by Medieval North and West Africa, while Nibiru is very loosely inspired by Ancient Babylon and the Indus Valley Civilization). It's probably not a big deal since it'd be difficult to encompass all three and this entire world began with my desire to thread Celtic elements into the Robin Hood tales, but still. Any thoughts or ideas?

headcanon bc yes (HELP I WROTE A WHOLE ASS ESSAY)

ok so i was scrolling through the sb discord server and wound up in the astro announcements channel. and i found this post from like idk how long ago i forgot BUT. apparently solarballs was inaccurate about planet twitter so im just gonna dump some hcs

so to clarify about all this stuff heres some terminology: planet 9: a hypothetical ninth planet which could explain some gravitational anomalies in the orbits of some stuff. planet x: umbrella term, represents any unknown planet beyond neptune and not just planet 9, anything!! meaning pluto was once planet x until it was found yada yda ya fifth giant: potential former planet that orbited around saturn and uranus, and got too close to saturn (ooh very romantic) causing both saturn and jupiter's gravity to eject it

all of these terms overlap each other as - planet x could be planet 9 or fifth giant (if it followed the story proposed in original solarballs) - planet 9 would be a planet x or maybe the ejected fifth giant - fifth giant would be a planet x or it could be the proposed planet 9

also theres nibiru but its a fictional cataclysmic event that should have happened in 2012, but it didnt so no nibiru. cool name tho and headcanon!! earth is slightly kinda scared of planet 9 bc he keeps mixing him up with nibiru hahhahhhha

so all of this just links up. heres a diagram i made on canva if u dont understand:

so if solarballs didnt get planet twitter wrong all of these would be separate characters except for planet x bc its an umbrella term and would manifest as a concept rather than an actual thing

also we dont really know how the hypothetical planet 9 could have formed. it may have formed near uranus and neptune and just slowly drifted out, but something i noticed was according to wikipedia (amazing source!!) was that "it may be the core of a giant planet that was ejected from its original orbit by Jupiter during the genesis of the Solar System." which is very oh! as this means that

a) fifth giant was big big since planet 9 was hypothesised to be somewhere between earth and neptune (size arc mention) and if that was just the core... and b) planet 9 is, or is descended, or is a fraction of the soul of fifth giant!

to solve this i think he should just be really mysterious and stuff like no one knows... because we dont know either... :D

anyways im just gonna write how i think this should have panned out if solarballs researched properly. as the biggest gyat of the solar system and ringmaster 4000 lite kicked fifth giant out (grand tack!!) obviously theyd both be paranoid of him coming back and kicking their asses. since fifth giant got too close to saturn and not jupi hed probably be more paranoid but mr smartass is indeed a smartass so he just took all the blame for his lover awwwwww (jupiturn on top old men yaoi)

anyways planet 9 if it was infact the core of fifth giant or just was socially isolated for a long time theyd probably hold kind of a grudge to the solar system bc theyre there but no one cared and, again, ejected fifth giant! so yeah, he goes to solar system bc makemake was a nerd and now hmm, its unclear if this new arrival is some random ahh or fifth giant descendant!!

so here i think jupi would just spill out of fear bc hes honest and feels like the type to SPILL and he just doesnt know who and then his wife saturn is like noooooo and imo planet 9 would just be confused asf bc again, core of fifth giant, probably forgot a lot bc thats what isolation does to you just look at neppy my bb1!!!! and yeah hes gone and planet 9 who doesnt know wtf is going on just takes the spot of jupi

So, I'm glad we remembered the Sitting Room, and I had a question here:

«Am I the only one who is stressed by the members of «Benevolent Lodge of Mystery» or do they also make you at least think?»

In this post I will write about my point of view and share with you some of my headcanons about their group, but I think it's best to start the discussion with the main question:

What do we know about «Benevolent Lodge of Mystery»?

Their group lasted much longer than other groups «Children of Nibiru». They have been together for thirty years, if not more, which is already a decent time. They practically made a trip around the world. There were rumors that their actions in the Pre-Nibiru timeline could unleash the FIRST WORLD WAR. And this despite the fact that the STATE ARCHIVE, in which their manuscripts and personal documents were stored, burned down in a «mysterious» way.

Yes. This group «Children of Nibiru» stresses me out. Very much.

Abigail Gluck in the Pre-Nibiru timeline, as we all know, worked with Professor Pericles and died in the UNDERWATER LABORATORY SURROUNDED BY ROBOTS INSPIRED BY THE NAZI THEME!

So these people stress me out very much. She is especially.

So, let's drip deeper. We know that the events in «Scooby-Doo», «DS comics» and «Sherlock Holmes» take place in the same universe. And since the group existed between the 1880s and the 1910s, it can be concluded that they could have worked with Arthur Conan Doyle's Sherlock Holmes. This is quite likely, since they have visited such countries as: the German Empire, Great Britain, France, Austria-Hungary, the Ottoman Empire, Bulgaria, the Russian Empire, Belgium, Romania, the Far East and the African Continent.

My friends and I are already joking about the fact that in the beginning they just wanted to take a ride, visit relatives and so on. Because of all their group, as I found out, the only American is Oswald P. Burlington Because Abigail Gluck is German, Marianne Blanchard is French, and Scotty O'Rourke is Irish (perhaps he was born in the family of a count, because O'Rourke is the surname of the count's family of Ireland). So, yes. It was possible to drive around the relatives in the beginning.

They understood locomotives and can be called steampunks. Oswald P. Burlington had money. A lot of money. Abigail Gluck could have built some steam engines with Scotty O'Rourke (I think he's quite capable of it). And Marianne Blanchard would be a nurse in this company. I'm serious. I think everyone understands that in the company of steam, hot metal and other things you can easily get burns. They need a medic by definition. But that's not what I'm about...

Since these people understood locomotives, they could easily set fire to the state archive in the Pre-Nibiru timeline to hide their involvement in the outbreak of the First World War, which began in 1914 due to the murder of the heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne on the territory of the Russian Empire. And Mr. Peaches died in the 1910s...

Personally, I have a lot of questions for these people because of this moment.

Since in the 1910s, with the death of Mr. Peaches, the group was dissolved, and after some time the First World War began, at the beginning of which the Pre-Nibiru timeline suspected members of the «Benevolent Lodge of Mystery». By that time Mr. Peaches died, Oswald P Burlington began to live in solitude, and Marianne Blanchard doesn't look like a person to me who can do something like that. So, yes. These two. One is on the stream, and the other is set on fire to the wick.

Do they bother me? Yes. There is a moment. Do I think they could have set fire to the state archive? Yes, too. But, despite all this, I really like these guys. And personally, I am very offended that we know almost nothing about them — as well as about the rest of the groups «Children of Nibiru», and we can guess what they were, based on their «roles» in their groups «Children of Nibiru».

the fact that Fred is still named Fred in the post nibiru timeline shows that Jones didn’t named the baby after himself, but that Brad and Judy named him after Jones.

and that still works in the post nibiru timeline since Jones is a coach in the school that the og mystery inc members were probably attending as teenagers.

that man had such an impact in theirs and Fred’s life that the freaking timeline reset didn’t change the fact that they both share the same name,,
