What a journey. What started as an assigned to do 10 cards turned begrudgingly into 22 and I couldn’t be more grateful. I learned A LOT. Came up with a lot of tips and tricks. And I’m proud. I may not feel it yet, I may not feel the need to celebrate but I’m satisfied.

There were a lot of weird coincidences that happened with this project that I’m just going to say was the universe. And a lot of unexpected love too. I’ve never really used Tumblr or involved myself in fandom because I believed I had nothing to offer and was always ignored but damn. The amount of love I’ve received is ridiculous and none of you who reblogged, liked or commented will ever know how much it meant to me and kept me going.

Guess I’m calling on Latifi, Sargeant, and Colapinto fans to explain this more to me because I genuinely do not follow the Williams’ team that much.

After Logan Sargeant left Williams and Franco Colapinto stepped in, I’m suddenly hearing people question Alex Albon for the first time. I’ve always seen him as someone who got the most out of the car. It’s a Williams, after all—there’s only so much he can do. So, why are people now suggesting that he’s not that good and only looked impressive because his teammates were struggling? I guess the best way we will see if this is true is next season with Carlos.

This is genuinely the first time I’m seeing a lot of people critique him. They usually just ignore him.

Latifi Still Struggling To Convince People He Used To Be F1 Driver

Former Williams F1 driver Nicholas Latifi says that he still struggles to convince people, particularly fellow students on his college course, that he used to be an F1 driver.

"Since disappearing off the face of the Earth when I retired from racing, it's been a struggle to convince people that I used to be an F1 driver. Some people on my MBA course started calling me Jay, after the character from the Inbetweeners, so convinced were they that I was bullshitting."

When asked if he'd tried showing people press interviews, or footage of him on the grid, better Late-ifi than never responded:

"I have indeed tried this method, but some are still convinced it isn't me. They'll say it's a lookalike, or I've paid somebody to film me, and pretend I'm an F1 driver giving a post-race interview. Even when my name comes up, they'll say it's another Canadian man, with the same name as me, who looks exactly as I did roughly 3-5 years ago. Well, I suppose there's only so many names and faces in the world. Some of them are bound to be identical!"

-Love how Stroll is causing everyone problems by being on the hard tires

-Finding a good gap to pit is looking seemingly impossible rn- for any team

-Mercedes starting the pit stop games? That’s new

-Oh noooo, that was the longest pit stop ever! The right front tire is stuck. That’s just completely ended Valterii’s race

-LH: “How am I still behind him man? Come on”

-Woah the Alpha Tauri managed the over cut on Mercedes

-What has happened is- Aston Martin pulled of an overcut on Mercedes anddd Sebastian has overtaken Pierre

-I think Max can finally pit now and not be threatened by anyone

-LH: “I don’t understand guys. I saved the tires to go longer and you made me stop before everyone” I think this is why Mercedes doesn’t usually start the pit stop games

-“Lewis we’re under threat to losing position to Perez as well” Lewis is going to kill them

-“By putting his foot down the way he did, he has gotten himself up to fourth place” Yess Checo!!

-Kudos to the pit crew! That was impeccable

-“You have to feel a little bit for Valterri Bottas” I actually feel a lot for him

-Daniel about to be passed by his teammates- that must feel bad

-CS: “Yeah, let’s try and put some pressure. Who knows?”

-All the drivers almost accepting that no more overtakes can be done

-SP: “Let’s build up now. Norris is starting to struggle”

-Maybe there will be an overtake. Who knows?

-Such good strategy from Aston Martin. Both for Sebastian and Lance.

-Lance managed that long stint on the hard tires very well

-What would happen if they took out blue flags? Cause I think it would just cause chaos and not help in any way at all

-Come on! Lance is having a good race. He does not need a penaltyyyy. He only just touched the yellow line

-Lewis pitting for fastest lap

-“There was a time in the early early races where he took a few too many risk, but he’s the real deal now”

-This was actually such a good race for so many teams. Aston, Alpine with Ocon, Alpha Romeo with Giovinazzi.

-Also Alpha Tauri, and Gasly- holding Lewis back the whole race

-“We’ve seen so much Mercedes dominance through the phase of Max’ career, but he’s turn the tables hasn’t he”

-“This is going to be, his first podium in Monaco, his first win in Monaco- Max Verstappen leads the championship and wins the Monaco Grand Prix”

-Yes yes yessssss

-Look at that! So many cheers! Aaah this is so lovely

-Aw Charles came out to congratulate Carlos

-It’s a Red Bull, Ferrari, and McLaren podium

-Such an emotional finish for everyone involved
