You are the good side.
There are very pretty crystals on my shelf, and a green ribbon. it is a very nice green, too.
i have lots of clothes, all i like, because i picked them out.
i have people i say hello and goodbye to, occasionally a "how are you" and a "what's going on these days" if i am feeling adventurous,
still more who apparently like my company, invite me to things and laugh at my jokes.
i have dogs who wag their tails and bark when they see me,
a car i can use whenever i wish,
a clean, new kitchen, and balconies filled with sun.
i have the knowledge passed down to me from my people all around, and the internet and my books too, and i use it, and think of them.
the smell of meyer lemons means my grandmother to me,
the dish soap currently in my kitchen is the very soul of her kitchen, filled with glass jars and always a pleasant energy.
my bed has clean sheets on it because i cleaned the house on friday.
my plants are all still alive; i wish them well, and try not to be too overbearing on them.
my hair is soft, from the oil, and clean, from the shampoo, my face happy, from hiking and lunch and brand-new mouisturiser.
the sun is setting now, and i think i will sit on the balcony and watch the sky darken a few shades; listen to my music out of nostalgia, not need.

MY NIGHT ROUTINE
I was so tired today, I finished some of my missing activities and such... I have class tomorrow so I need to sleep early...
I first ate dinner at exactly 9 pm... I ate a lot since I am really hungry. After dinner I went to the bathroom to take a hot shower for me to relax my mind.
After that, I did my skin care routine for tonight. I first put my cream, and all of my skin care products, I used caster oil for my brows and I also brushed my teeth before going up to my room.
Before sleeping I called my boyfriend to update him. He and I are in a long distance relationship. He lives in Muntinlupa and I live in Cavite so there's really a quite huge distance between us but we still manage to see each other during our free time.
I didn't drop our phone call because I can't sleep if I did. I stared at my ceiling and decided to sleep.
