You voted for it, you got it. A "fix-it" that's really gonna heal you after watching Parting of the Ways for the millionth time. (I deserve compensation for the emotional damage I experienced RTD!).

Summary: Bad Wolf, and by extension, Rose, with all their infinite power decide to take things into their own omnipotent hands. It's time for the Doctor to get some much-needed R&R! Adjusting to life in the slow lane is a little hard for our Doctor, but the goal is healing and he's willing to try. Perhaps all he needed was just a bit of something human to help him get there.

i think the most devastating bit about doomsday is that ten had never had to live without rose before.

ten was born in front of rose. he existed as a physical manifestation of nine's love for her: the embodiment of all the wounds she had tended to without knowing. rose could not save the doctor from hating himself, but she let him love again. she laughed and listened to music and got chips with him, and "run for your life" became "thank you. i need you. please stay with me." to live without her, to live with the knowledge that he could never ever see her again would have been utterly SHATTERING.

"i only take the best. i've got rose." hating literally every other man she so much as glanced at. i am fully convinced that nine had so little self control when it came to his love for her, and if he had not regenerated he would have acted on it a thousand percent. i main tenrose but ninerose hits so different. i absolutely love them
