The Irony of calling Chris Eccleston “anti-woke” is consistently funny to me.

I'm not censoring the channel name because he's an "Anti-Woke" clickbait channel, so who cares?

Anyway, Chris isn't "Anti-Woke" because he dislikes RTD; he dislikes him and the BBC because during the 2005 shootings of S1, they were terrible to the crew, and when Chris tried to stand up for them, he was essentially fired and shut off by the BBC; consequently almost ruining his acting career and putting him in a depressive state. In the Con clip the channel is pulling from, Chris just said, "I hate RTD because I don't like his creative choices", and yet the anti-woke crowd immediately misinterprets it as "woke bad", and it just proves how out of sync they are with how TV shows/movies are made.

Chris Eccleston is a proud Socialist. He's an Anti-Monarchist. He's an ambassador for The Big Issue, often speaking out about the class system and how everyone should be seen as equals. He's anything BUT Anti-Woke. Those who believe otherwise don't know him and don't get to co-opt him into their hateful ideology just because they agree on one thing. They hate RTD because he's "made Doctor Who woke"; Chris hates RTD because of what happened back when the reboot was first shot. They are not the same.
