Leon knew, logically, that there was no way he could keep the serum from reaching every single part of his body, but at the same time the desperate part of his brain had to try. He thrashed, struggled, giving up on the cool façade that he’d held onto all this time from the moment he’d woken up from being sedated to the moment he’d been injected with what the assholes around him described as truth serum.

Truth fucking serum. Leon wanted to laugh. His life was a joke. When he’d broken up with Piers after their brief but intense fling he’d thought he’d reached the rock bottom, but apparently there had still been ways to go. At least until now he’d been able to lie and keep secrets to protect himself…

- Or, Leon can’t lie. Turns out it’s both the worst and the best thing that has happened to him recently.

This is pretty much my first nivannedy drawing from several months ago, inspired by some conversations with the lovely @fonulyn about Piers' sexy neck.

Leon shivers as Piers sucks a mark into exposed curve of his throat, his breaths coming in sharp pants with every glide of Piers' warm tongue and the barely-there scrape of teeth. He can't stop a groan when Piers nips at his collarbone, hands flexing where Piers holds them securely above his head. His entire body feels like a live wire, sensitive and warm with the buzz of alcohol, cool air washing over his bare chest from the half-open window. In the dark, all he can feel is Piers; hear the raspy hitches of his own breath and the wet noises coming from Piers' mouth, and it's almost more intoxicating than the booze.

Piers bites down, and Leon gasps, heart fluttering when Piers pulls back to press a messy kiss to his lips before lifting his head to meet Leon's eyes. His face is impassive, and Leon grins lazily, shifting his hips where Piers has them straddled.

"The guy at the party," Piers mutters, voice low, and Leon suppresses a shudder. "I didn't like him."

"Which guy?" Leon tries, but Piers dips down to his neck again and his voice breaks. His lips ghost over the edge of Leon's jaw.

"He was flirting with you."

"Mm."

He can hear Piers breathing in his ear, a tingle of electricity running down his neck that makes him moan.

"I didn't like him."

"J-jealousy doesn't suit you."

"You're mine." Piers' voice is dark, heavy, and something in Leon's stomach uncoils, his hips bucking unconsciously as Piers begins to kiss a path down his throat and chest.

"Piers-"

"I love you," Piers murmurs, eyes as sharp as the wicked grin that stretches across his face. "You're mine."

Leon smiles.

"Show me."

So far, so good with my Whumptober Goals.

Legend of Zelda so far:

Legend of Zelda: Sands of Time 1/3 - “Calling to You (My Safety Net)” In which the call of Link's new home proves stronger than common sense or years of experience. Mistakes are made.

Legend of Zelda: Revalink One-Shot - “Almost a Memory” Link wasn't sure what the Hero from a hundred years ago would have done, but he was confident that he could have dodged that arrow.

Legend of Zelda: Malon/Link Gen/Pre-Relationship One-Shot - “In the Cold Light of the Moon” After Termina, nothing fits quite like it should and Time marches on even as Link wishes it wouldn't.

Legend of Zelda: BotW Gen ½ - “Riding the Lightning” The Yiga were either very lucky or were competent for a change. It didn't matter. Either way, Link was about to have a bad day.

Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Warriors Gen ½ - “So Far to Fall” When the small child with the Spirit of the Hero entered the battlefield, Link had no plans on getting attached to the feral brat. He swore to protect him, to keep him safe, but that was supposed to be the end of it. Now trapped and wounded with the young hero crying in front of him, Link realized far too late that he had failed.

Resident Evil so far (Leon-focused):

Resident Evil: Nivannedy One-Shot - “Falling for You” Leon Kennedy goes missing in another dark mansion in the middle of another dark forest. This was why Leon insisted to Piers that their honeymoon take place on a sunny beach somewhere. Resident Evil: Metaltango One-Shot - “In Our Time of Dying” Leon's initial toast to his dead lover had been a little premature. His second toast, water instead of vodka, was somehow even less satisfying. Resident Evil: Nivannedy ¼ “Singing My Requiem” Just yesterday, the top item on Leon's "Worst Way to Die" list had seemed obvious. Becoming a BOW, of course. Yesterday was a very, very long time ago, and the silence gave Leon far too much time to think and reconsider.

Resident Evil: Vendetta Gen One-Shot - “Losing My Religion” For Leon S. Kennedy, surrounded by death and betrayal, hope was a thing with razor-sharp wings. Resident Evil: Nivannedy ¼ - “Murphy’s Law” When trapped in a cave-in, no matter how bad the situation was, never think that it couldn't get worse. Really, Leon Kennedy should have known better. It can always get so, so much worse.

“Leon, you home?” Piers called, but there was no answer, and he quickly toed off his shoes before heading further into the house. At the doorway to the living room he stopped, grinning to himself as he took in the sight. Leon was sprawled over the couch, fast asleep, and pinned underneath fifty pounds of fluff.

Said fluff made no move to get up, either, but she was wagging her tail happily at Piers anyway, clearly signaling that she was happy that he was back even though she was way too comfortable to get up right now. And well, who was Piers to argue with that, really. He wouldn’t have gotten up for just anyone either if he’d been pillowed so nicely against Leon. “Hey girl,” he said lowly, approaching the couch so he could scratch her behind her ears, making her wag her tail even more excitedly.

Leon made a sleepy sound, shifting a little, and Lucky took that as a sign to wake him up properly. She launched herself forward, licking over his face until he was squirming to get away, sleepily swatting at the dog in weak attempts to make her stop. Not that he managed to do anything else but basically pet her with the flailing. “No, too much spit, stop it!” he laughed.

Happy to have done her work, Lucky jumped up and off the couch, vanishing into the bedroom. She was probably going to use the chance to hog the bed for herself, it had rapidly become her favorite place to sleep.

Grinning, Piers took a seat on the edge of the couch, leaning in to give Leon a chaste peck. “Have you done anything else but sleep all day?” he asked teasingly. Although truth to be told, that wouldn’t have been such a bad option anyway. Leon had spent so many years stressed out and always on edge, he deserved lazy days dozing off together with their dog if anyone did.

“I was a good husband and cooked.” Leon grinned. “And I talked with your mom for like an hour. She says you don’t call her enough.” He still looked sleepy, like he wasn’t actually properly awake and could fall back asleep if he just closed his eyes for five seconds.

With a small shrug, Piers chuckled. “Tell her it’s her own fault for always calling you instead of me these days.” He leaned backwards, let out a happy sigh as Leon reached out and patted his thigh lightly. “Wanna go out for a walk before dinner? It might wake you up?”

“Sounds like a plan,” Leon agreed easily. “You go tell the dog we’re going. It’s your turn to accept all the enthusiastic kisses of gratitude.”

It's such an adorable story and I absolutely recommend it for anyone who likes superheroes and nivannedy!

I do plan on finishing the comic book cover eventually, though attempting comic book style shading is just a little intimidating 😅
