SamBucky Week

Welcome to the first official SamBucky Week!

This is a week long event, that is celebrating the wonderful relationship between Sam “The Falcon, Captain America” Wilson and Bucky “Winter Soldier, White Wolf” Barnes!

We will be holding our week from  October 20 thru the 26!

We accept all forms of creation! Such as fic, art (traditional, digital, etc) moodboards/aesthetics, playlists, graphics, podfics, meta, or any other sort of work that shows love to our beloved ship, SamBucky!

All you need to do to participate for the week, is use one (or all) of the prompts for the appropriate day, and remember to use the tag #sbweek19, within the first five so we can reblog your work here! Though if you’re worried about Tumblr being Tumblr, you can also submit it or tag the blog!

I’ve been tagged by @sproutwings - and my sincerest gratitude for this, I need to review all the WIPs I have going :D

1. the next chapter of Keep Cold (coldflash, Beauty/Beast AU)

I’ve lately solved a big plot hole, or more like something that was bothering me and I couldn’t find a way to write it, so I’m pretty excited to start a new chapter, which is already more than half-formed in my head, now just to get it out in actual writing :D I’m really excited about this one because originally, I thought it would be action-packed, but as it turns out, it’ll most likely be a pretty sweet and calm one instead, with a side of mild angst as usual.

2. the next chapter of All the First Dates (coldflash, no powers AU)

This one has been half-written since July, which says a lot about how bad I am with WIPs :D I’m not even sure what I’ve been waiting for - but basically it’s going to be Len and Barry’s date and things will go a bit south for Barry but also not so bad for them as a potential couple so I hope I’ll get to writing it out soon!

3. the second (and I think final?) chapter of an ace!Mick fic

which I’m really excited about but I haven’t really figured out where I want to take it - there are two equally intriguing possibilities plot-wise and I have to decide first. Decisions, decisions :’D

4. role-reversal AU where Lisa is Cold and Len is Gold (and Iris is the Flash) 

I only have a short snippet in mind, a couple k at most, but there’s this part about Lisa reminiscing about her childhood and about little Len that I can’t get out of my head ever since we talked about it with @agentmarymargaretskitz who is fully responsible for this awesome plot bunny :D

5.-20. all the wonderful prompts I still have sitting in my inbox.

I know, I know, I always have to apologize to you all because I either fill a dozen prompts in one sitting, or you’re kept waiting for a year :’D but I promised myself that I’ll fill the prompts as they come, meaning I have to get to some that are more difficult for me to write first, and sometimes I get stuck on that rule. idk is it a stupid rule to have? At first I felt like it would only be fair to the prompters, but now I’m starting to think it might be even worse to keep more people waiting than just one or two... I don’t know, feel free to get back to me on this issue :’D

21. another chapter of a Viktor Krum/Karkaroff’s aide slash fic

Okay I named the other guy so it’s Viktor Krum/Ivan Bogdanov but he’s practically an OC so honestly I’m sure nobody knows who I’m talking about :D there’s gonna be a lot of angst and anger and issues to deal with so I gotta be in the right mindset for this one.

22. a Viktor Krum/Dudley Dursley post-epilogue AU

in which Dudley lives in Sweden and has a daughter who gets a Durmstrang letter, which is how he meets Harry’s old friend who went to the same school to help them shop for supplies and answer Astrid’s endless questions. And then, Dudley has some questions himself, and he doesn’t quite expect to find a wizard’s company so soothing.

I had about 7 pages of this but I lost all of it to a bad harddrive crash so... I need to rebuild the whole fic (so. much. time. on google maps and figuring out where the magical district in Stockholm could be. don’t ask me why it has to be Sweden, I am sold on this even though I have never set foot within a hundred miles from Swedish borders)

23. an atomwave soulmate/Sentinel AU in a fantasy setting

This is the story I promised to @yukiothecollielover a long, long time ago (in this galaxy :D) and I’m really stoked for this fic, but I swore I wouldn’t start another long-ass AU until either Keep Cold or All the First Dates are finished, and... both of them are a long way from done :D I’m already awful with updates so I don’t want to add another long WIP to the mess. But. There’s going to be a lot of angst in this one, and the main idea is a world in which soulmates are consciously chosen, and the Conduit helps the “Sentinel” (the name is a work in progress :D) manage emotions by drawing them into the Conduit themselves, so they feel for both of them. Also features Ray as too-good-for-his-own-good Conduit, Mick as an unmanageable fighter-slash-pyromancer... and Sydney as a damaged ex-fighter with a lot of issues. And fantasy knights.

👋👋👋👋 It's nice to meet you!! phew so I feel less guilty now knowing we never interacted but I'm so happy to that you feel comfortable doing so now! And shocked you remember me from the olden days of Coldflash (my first beloved, and first fandom I truly got interacted with, whom I still think of fondly and will always love! ❤️)

Am I ever a Stargate fan!!!! I absolutely LOVED Stargate and Atlantis!! I still need to see a few of the movies and watch the Universe show, but I've literally not loved something that came from there!! (Pacific Rim is definitely up there for me as well!) Atlantis my beloved 🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰

I'm having an absolute blast with Hangster/Top Gun (though admittedly, I haven't branched out much yet from hangster. They have such a strangle hold on me lol) There's such much amazing fic and head cannons and art and everything to get my grubby little hands on (I love coming into fandoms late because it's like I'm an archeologist, going through tombs blogs finding all the goodies people have already put out!)
