thinking about that scene from seeing red and how it’s the worst thing you could do to a ship. like the literal worst thing. worse than one half of the ship dying. the one thing you can’t come back from. also arguably the worst thing you could do to a beloved character. that’s partly why decades later people are still angry about it, still feel betrayed. i think it’s a testament to how good a ship spuffy is, and how good a character spike is, that the love for them has prevailed, that it could survive this.

Opinion on the movie Dune? I'm watching the first and second in cinemas with my dad today, took a cheeky little peek at the cast list. There's some surprisingly fitting casts and the cast list is actually really cool, a lot of actors who have been in similar media types as the movie.

I’m so sorry but I’m neither nerdy nor arthouse film-student enough to enjoy dune . I watched the first part and came away with no thoughts that weren’t solely concerned with timothee chalamet’s jawline (I don’t even care for timothee chalamet) . I don’t remember anything. I won’t watch the second.
