lucas came over to mike’s, not knowing that mike’s in his room upstairs sleeping cause he forgot. as karen let him in, lucas went straight to mike’s room. then, he saw mike, sleeping like a little angel. his hair was all in face and slight drool coming out of his mouth.

but, lucas would still find him beautiful anyway. he crept over to mike’s bed and laid himself down next to the sleeping beauty next to him. he studied mike’s facial features and slowly sat up to move a piece of hair behind his ear. ‘you are so beautiful’ lucas whispered under his breath and place a gentle, light kiss on mike’s forehead.

causing him to stir and smile in the process. lucas tucked mike and himself in the covers and cuddles mike close to him.(he’s warm) then he starts to dozed off.

lucas catches a cold and dustin goes full caretaker mode. though, lucas keeps telling him that he can take care of himself but dustin’s not having any of it. “stay in bed, lucas, i’ll make breastfast.” dustin scolded “but-“ lucas tries to spit out but dustin left before he could say.

dustin’s in the kitchen making lucas’ favorite breakfast, beignets and calas.(i headcanon that lucas is a southern bell cuz i am :) ) lucas, tired of staying in bed decides to go in the kitchen and see what dustin’s cooking.

he creeps quietly to the kitchen(they live in an apartment) and to his surprise, he found dustin humming a tune familiar to him. he smiled at his boyfriend’s cuteness and went back to bed, obeying dustin’s previous orders.

he napped for a bit but then was soon woken up by dustin lightly shaking him and whispering sing-songy “lucas, wake up, hun i made your favorite~” at that, he opened his eyes to see dustin holding a tray of looking like his favorite breakfast. he placed the tray down on lucas’ lap and said “hope you like it. :)” without realizing just how famished he is, lucas went head first into the meal.

after eating, lucas thanked dustin for the breakfast and asked him to come cuddle. dustin was very happy to oblige his request. lucas laid his head into dustin’s chest(they’re both laying down) and started to play his very curly hair.

“i love you” lucas suddenly blurted out. dustin chuckled at his bluntness but replied back “i love you too, my southern bell.” he then placed a few kisses all over lucas’ face.
