Rating: Songbirds, but there's a makhloket

The majority opinion holds that songbirds are more Jewish than otters, as it is written, “Even the sparrow has found a home and the swallow a nest for herself in which to set her young near Your altar, O LORD of hosts, my Sovereign and my God” (Psalms 84:4). There are many other texts that mention songbirds throughout the Tanakh; there are zero results for “otter” as referring to the animal on Sefaria in our sacred texts.* Thus, the simple answer is that songbirds are more important in Judaism, and therefore more Jewish, than otters. Additionally, medieval Jewish illumination such as the famous Bird's Head Haggadah depicts Jews with human bodies and the heads and beaks of birds, indicating a close connection between Jews and birds:

However, as is Jewish tradition, we preserve the following minority opinions as well: 

Otters are more Jewish than songbirds: Songbirds were created on the fifth day of creation, while otters, like humans, were created on the sixth day. Therefore, otters are closer to humanity, and Jews are part of humanity, so otters are more Jewish than songbirds. (Genesis 1:20-24) Furthermore, this photo from the Cincinnati Zoo speaks for itself:

Both otters and songbirds are equally Jewish: Psalms 50:10-11 reads “For Mine is every animal of the forest, the beasts on a thousand mountains I know every bird of the mountains, the creatures of the field are subject to Me.” Clearly, this covers both otters and songbirds, so both are equally Jewish. Furthermore, otters and songbirds both look extremely cute in yarmulkes, which may not be halakhically relevant but feels important to state nonetheless.

Neither otters nor songbirds are Jewish; however, they are righteous gentiles under the Noahide covenant: To be Jewish means to be bound by the Abrahamic covenant in relationship with the Holy One. As animals are neither descended from Jewish parents nor have the agency to choose to be bound by the covenant made between God and Abraham, as human converts do, neither otters nor songbirds are Jewish**. However, following the great flood, God said to Noah, “I now establish My covenant with you and your offspring to come, and with every living thing that is with you—birds, cattle, and every wild beast as well—all that have come out of the ark, every living thing on earth. (Genesis 9:9-10). This covenant, symbolized by the rainbow, is God’s commitment to every living thing (clearly including both songbirds and otters) that God will never flood the Earth again-- something every one of us can support.

why jewish people say "theyre chosen by god" why? what did they do?

Abraham (as) was steadfast and remained in submission to the One True God in a society full of idol worshiping, as a result God gave him the task of fulfilling various errands to prove Abraham's (as) loyalty to Him. Abraham (as) succeeded in all of this and God promised him a great nation through Isaac (as) and Jacob (as).

The Israelites were named after Jacob (as), who would later be named Israel (as), after he wrestled with the agent of God. The Israelites were chosen by God because that was God's promise to Abraham (as). When He liberated the Israelites from Pharaoh, Moses (as) ascended Mount Sinai and claimed the Torah + the Ten commandments and being instructed with consecrating the Tabarnacle As long as the Israelites upheld God's laws, His promise to Abraham (as) and Moses (as) would remain. Failed step one; some of the Israelites immediately worshipped the Golden Calf, which led to God's punishment to wander the deserts of Egypt for 40 years until they reached the Holy Land. As you can see, being favoured by God comes at uhh a cost (?).

Anyways, the Israelites were not superior to other nations since they were given the task of upholding God's covenant. Think of it in the sense of your mother assigning you with the dishes, while your brother doesn't need to. The difference is that you get to have some candy after you finish your task. Either way, every other nation were given other commandments (see the Noahide laws), and as long as they upheld these seven laws, God would bless them. But the Israelites were specifically chosen for the task God had given them at Sinai, which is not as easy as it sounds when you read through the 613 Mitzvot. Nevertheless, as long as they abided by the Torah, God's favour would remain there. Of course, the Israelites would be challenged by difficulties, and the kingdom of Israel would suffer several setbacks as a result of various deviations from the Commandments according to the Tanakh. But despite these punishments, God's promise remained as long as they abided by the Torah.

The idea that Jewish people are the chosen people of God is affirmed by Christians and Muslims as well.

All Abrahamic religions claim to be monotheistic, worshiping an exclusive God, although one who is known by different names. Each of these religions preaches that God creates, is one, rules, reveals, loves, judges, punishes, and forgives. 

However, although Christianity does not profess to believe in three gods—but rather in three persons, or hypostases, united in one essence—the Trinitarian doctrine, a fundamental of faith for the vast majority of Christian denominations, conflicts with Jewish and Muslim concepts of monotheism.

Since the conception of a divine Trinity is not amenable to tawhid, the Islamic doctrine of monotheism, Islam regards Christianity as variously polytheistic.

Judaism and Islam have strict dietary laws, with permitted food known as kosher in Judaism, and halal in Islam. These two religions prohibit the consumption of pork; Islam prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages of any kind. Halal restrictions can be seen as a modification of the kashrut dietary laws, so many kosher foods are considered halal; especially in the case of meat, which Islam prescribes must be slaughtered in the name of God. Hence, in many places, Muslims used to consume kosher food. However, some foods not considered kosher are considered halal in Islam.

With rare exceptions, Christians do not consider the Old Testament's strict food laws as relevant for today's church; see also Biblical law in Christianity. Most Protestants have no set food laws, but there are minority exceptions

The Seventh-day Adventist Church (SDA) embraces numerous Old Testament rules and regulations such as tithing, Sabbath observance, and Jewish food laws. Therefore, they do not eat pork, shellfish, or other foods considered unclean under the Old Covenant. The "Fundamental Beliefs" of the SDA state that their members "are to adopt the most healthful diet possible and abstain from the unclean foods identified in the Scriptures".

Proselytism

Judaism accepts converts, but has had no explicit missionaries since the end of the Second Temple era.

Judaism states that non-Jews can achieve righteousness by following Noahide Laws, a set of moral imperatives that, according to the Talmud, were given by God[k] as a binding set of laws for the "children of Noah"—that is, all of humanity. It is believed that as much as ten percent of the Roman Empire followed Judaism either as fully ritually obligated Jews or the simpler rituals required of non-Jewish members of that faith.

Christianity encourages evangelism. Many Christian organizations, especially Protestant churches, send missionaries to non-Christian communities throughout the world. See also Great Commission. Forced conversions to Catholicism have been alleged at various points throughout history. The most prominently cited allegations are the conversions of the pagans after Constantine; of Muslims, Jews and Eastern Orthodox during the Crusades; of Jews and Muslims during the time of the Spanish Inquisition, where they were offered the choice of exile, conversion or death; and of the Aztecs by Hernán Cortés. Forced conversions to Protestantism may have occurred as well, notably during the Reformation, especially in England and Ireland

Restore:  The Christian Church to the land of Israel, as the religion of Christianity emerged from Israel and it is there responsibility to deal with.

Restore:  The circumcised Muslim world to Saudi Arabia, as the religion of Islam emerged from Saudi Arabia, and is based on Abraham's covenant, which land is included in Saudi Arabia, and teach them thoroughly the book of Genes.

In the next life, please have produced by Simpson LeMesurier Films, and distributed in DVD format by Umbrella Entertainment, 25 More initial series of 'Snowy', 1 season per year from 1950 (Second Season) to 1974 (26th Season).  The Snowy Mountains Hydro Electric Scheme was built from 1949 to 1974, totally 26 years.  So, yes, it was completed in 1974.

Further, if possible, put 'Cyril Daly' into the cast as snowy worker 'Cyril Daly' and have him as a regular at Logan's pub.

Later on, if the demand warrants it, I don't think I would mind if you wanted to do further series with Cyril and the family and other families in the Snowy Region.

I make this request in Adam and Eve and Noah's Name, as a Karaite Adamide-Noahide, as well as in - to a degree - Jesus of Nazareth's name, for many of the cast 'characters' are Christian.

So I need to repent of casual words, casual attitudes, casual mannerisms

And only ask for virtue in judgement

Yet, my virtue, it must be honesty

For I can not deny my heart's desire for material success

And in my desire for success in life

I can use accusing words of your lack of concern for my material state

And this is not right

So perhaps you shouldn't forgive me

As If someone said I was just trying to use God, what could I really say?

How could I deny the charge that I want great success in life?

I couldn't. I can only tell the truth about that. Its just the way I am, I suppose.

Forgive me for my shortcomings.

Yet, if you will bless me, and If I must pray for this success,

Please allow me to focus my prayers of passion on such success

And forgive me for my shortcomings

For I am only Human

Psalm 1

Yahweh, the Lord, is the Centre of all that is.

He is the Supreme Power, the Omnipotent One,

Full of Glory and Majesty, Eternal in Sovereignty.

Yahweh is gracious to us mere mortals,

Granting us blessings and peace,

Giving prosperity to the works of our hands.

Yahweh watches over those who call on his name.

He watches and blesses those who repent of sin,

And Grants his grace to the humble of heart.

Yahweh is a trustworthy foundation.

Yes, in God himself I place my trust,

Forsaking the strength of my own hands,

Forsaking the strength of men, whose fidelity is fleeting.

How the heart of man can choose a crooked path.

How the heart of man can choose a crooked way.

Oh, heavenly father, that your grace would be upon us all,

Leading us in the right way, leading us against our own evil inclinations.

Yahweh, enthroned in heaven, looks down upon the children of men.

He knows their heart, from their youth he has known them,

Caught up in their evil ways, caught up in their malicious intent.

Oh Yahweh, how great your grace is. Oh Yahweh, how superlative your mercy.

You spoke with our father Noah.

You spoke with him and called him out of a perverse generation.

For mankind was wicked in your eyes, evil from the days of their youth.

And through Noah you rebirthed mankind, saved from the deluge of the flood.

Majestic Lord of Glory, redeem me I pray.

Hear my prayer and rescue me from the darkness of my own heart.

For only in thy goodness can the gift of eternal life be realized.

God

Can we not be so hypocritical, unfair and double-minded

Can we not be so duplicitous, fork-tongued and unfaithful

Can we not pretend to be paragons of virtue yet find shame in our hearts

Shame at betraying ones we claim to love

Lord

Let not my boasts be great, of words I can not live up to

Let me not say of my virtues qualities which I later betray as lacking

Let me be truthful in how much I can truly commit to and foreswear vain oaths

Guide me to be faithful

Father

Show me the way of holiness which will not be questioned as shallow

Help me to grow up maturely, yet not reach for heights I later tumble from

Give me grace and mercy and remind others I am only human, not God himself

Forgive me for my shortcomings

Yahweh

I am only human. I can not be more than what I am. And I am so complex

That I don’t even understand myself half of the time.

But you, Oh Lord, know all the ways of humans and the choices of the heart.

Please, if you will in your mercy answer my prayer, give me the gift of wisdom

To love others in a manner which will last eternally and not be a vain oath of

Allegiance soon forgotten.

newborn babe be always pleasant in my heart.

Let the sight of a spider’s web fill me with mystery,

and let the early morning mist always fill me with

happiness and aliven me to the new day.

Let the rushing geyser be a source of fascination,

and let me fear in the presence of the tornado and

be awestruck by the power of the lightning.

Let the gentle flow of the stream soothe my soul,

and let the thunderous waves entertain my thirst

for adventure.

Lord God Almighty, I thank you for the wonders

of creation, which give joy and happiness to my

life each and every day. This world is a wonderful

and marvellous world, and all the children of Noah

thank you for your great kindness in creating it

For us.

We are your people, Almighty God, and the servants

of your covenant. And let the sign of the Covenant,

the ‘Rainbow’, one of the greatest signs of nature,

always remind us of the beauty and wonder that comes

forth from the heart of the Almighty.

Lord God - You are the solace of my heart’s anxiety.

You are the peace in the storms of life which remains

Faithful and ever unchanging. You are the strength

In my weaknesses and the power of my right hand

In all that I say and do. Lord, you are God, and even

In my wrongdoing my heart still remembers the graces

And love you have shown me.

Lord God – From generation to generation mankind

Searches out the way of truth. For so many finding

God is not easy, but you have always been there, waiting

To be found. You love us, children of Adam and Eve,

Children of Enoch, children of Noah. You love us and

Teach us the right way through the teachings of our

Fathers. Lord, I pray, remain faithful to the heart which

Wants truth above all else, and remember the struggle

We have all gone through in finding our salvation.

Lord God – Remember our fathers who have gone before

Us, and our mothers who bore and fed us. Remember forever

Those who have struggled to build our wonderful world, and

The many sacrifices they have made. I pray and ask of you,

Eternal God, prepare a home of eternal joy and life as reward

For their struggle, and share with them the fruits of their

Labours and the joy and consolation their hearts truly desire.

Forget not the children of Noah who, even those who have

Not known you or understood your ways, still tried in their hearts

To live good and decent lives. Forget them not in your mercy

I do pray Lord God Almighty, and prepare a home of eternal

Blessing for each and every one of them.

Lord God – The children of Noah praise your name. We lift

Up the name of Yahweh and declare that he is God and that

There is no other. Heavenly Father, we will serve you for

All eternity, building a Haven of Salvation in your name, a

Haven of love, peace and prosperity, in true service to your

Bless the economies of the 7 Sovereign Nations of:  UK, USA, Canada, Guyana, NZ, Australia & Ireland as well as the economies of the registered nations in the United Nations

Continue to improve the architectural standards of cities like Dubai and so forth, and implant such desires for improvements in architecture worldwide to all the great cities of earth (and heaven)

Continue to bless our workers in public servant positions, especially garbagemen, recyclists, street cleaners and others responsible for keeping our worlds cities clean and beautiful

Bless those who are underprivileged and lead them to economic success in life

Rebuke the wicked and uplift the righteous

Develop the sports of the Olympic and Commonwealth Games and their communities and bring these competitions to a yearly event.

Bless sporting clubs worldwide and promote these ideas to nations which do not have a strong sporting focus as of yet

Bless chess clubs, sword and sorcery adventure clubs, board games clubs, wargaming clubs, bridge clubs, card games clubs, craft clubs, scrabble clubs, RPG clubs and SF/Fantasy books as well as Comic Clubs worldwide I pray, and promote these clubs on a growing and permanent worldwide basis to every nation.  Please help people volunteer their own goods to these clubs and keep these clubs private where necessary, protect their resources and assets and make them a source of comfort, peace and joy and, I pray, please presence yourself amongst these clubs.  Amen and Amen.

Bless nightclubs, dance clubs, clubs, poker clubs, gambling clubs, X-Rated clubs, Sex clubs and other 'Nightlife' types of clubs with regulative activity according to the laws of their nations, and also with a lawful spirit where necessary to make sure not too many shenanigans occur.

Comic clubs worldwide. Have members pool resources, and have central locations for the activity of the club established in ongoing AFFORDABLE rents, and PURCHASES were possible by richer club members.  Have canteens/cantinas, snack machines etc available for these private clubs and keep all members very strict and private about the ongoing affairs and operations of the club and protect greatly from theft and accidents the physical assets of the club, especially the comics. Make these places a den of fantasy and excitement in discussion, presence yourself there, and let comics be read and adored in such clubs.

What are the Fanatics?

"The Codes of the Apocalypse, Translated." The value in Gematria is 1458, עדן‎ח, Eden H. "The Ones who bear the burden of the equality of every person."

Eden= The fifth letter of the alef-beis, the hei.

"The design of the hei is comprised of a dalet and a yud. The dalet is composed of one horizontal line (signifying width) and another that is vertical (signifying height), which together represent the physical world, the world of materialism.

The yud (the detached left leg) represents G‑d, and thus spirituality. The Maharal teaches us that just as the dalet and the yud come together to form the hei, so, too, one has an obligation to imbue and sanctify the physical world with spirituality and G‑dliness.

In Chassidic thought,2 the hei represents thought, speech and action. Just as the form of the hei is composed of three lines, so do thought, speech and action comprise the three garments of the soul, the three garments through which we express our­selves.

The top horizontal line (thought), by its very design, repre­sents the concept of equality. To truly experience every person as equal, one must restructure one’s thought process.

Perhaps it appears on the surface that some people are better and some are worse than others. But our responsibility is to focus instead on the soul, the G‑dly spark within each person.3 Since our souls emanate from the same Source, we are all equal in our essence.

When we delve beneath the personality and externality of a person and go straight to his or her core, we experience that we are all one."

The Torah establishes the Decrees and a very clear strict probition against propaganda and slavery, but these have not been able to secure the levels of worldwide equality God expects.

This is why the Rabbinate expounded upon the Noachide Laws within the Mishnah. The Noachide Laws clarify the ways all men must contribute a legal environment that protects humanity from all the forms of manmade harm, which include those directed at the personality:

"The Bible presents a predominantly binary picture of humanity, with the Jewish people in covenant with God on one side, and the idolatrous nations of the world on the other. However rabbis of the talmudic period-approximately 200 to 600 CE-seized upon one aspect of the biblical narrative that does not fit into this neat binary universe.

While the Bible portrays the stranger as isolated individuals in Jewish society, the Talmud expanded the idea of the stranger and conceptualized it into a broad legal and moral category.

Based on the post-diluvean covenant God makes with Noah and his descendants (Gen. 9:8-17), the Babylonian Talmud (Avodah Zarah 64b) interpreted the stranger to be all gentiles who accept the seven Noahide commandments constituting the basic laws of morality:

the positive injunction to set up courts that justly enforce social laws

the prohibition of blasphemy, i.e. intolerance of worshipping the one God of the universe

the prohibition of idolatry

the prohibitions of grave sexual immorality, such as incest and adultery

the prohibition of murder

the prohibition of theft

the prohibition of eating the limb of a live animal, which is a paradigm for cruelty

Jewish law grants all non-Jews who accept these laws of civilization social and theological rights everywhere, as well as residency rights in a Jewish religious polity.

As a result, the talmudic tradition split the gentile world into two sub-categories: immoral persons who reject the Noahide commandments and to whom tolerance is generally not extended, and gentiles who accept the laws of the Noahide covenant who are regarded positively, whom Jews are obligated to protect and sustain.

As such, classical Judaism subscribed to a double covenant theory: Jews have the Torah covenant of 613 commandments and all gentiles have a covenant of seven Noahide mitzvot, each covenant being valid for its respective adherents. Conventionally, only those accepting the covenant are termed 'b'nai Noah' (sons of Noah, or Noahides).

Noahides are not expected to convert to Judaism, for they have an independently authentic covenant that governs a valid way of life.

Noahides are accorded positive status in this worldview, to the extent that gentiles who faithfully keep the Noahide commandments are regarded as more beloved by God [i.e. more valued] than Jews who violate the fundamentals of their covenant of 613 commandments.

This is clearly evidenced by the Talmudic and medieval rabbinic claim that 'righteous gentiles have a share in the world to come' (i.e. salvation earned by their exemplary lives on earth), whereas Jews who commit grievous sins do not earn that status."

The sacrifice of any kind of animal is to undertake the precepts in the Torah and be done with the reprehenable, dysfunctional, suicidal, and homicidal aspects of human history. This is not done over and over. It is done once, the Law is enforced, we recover, we live on.

Seven hundred cattle, 100 head of cattle a day means 100 Blessings a Day, indigenous to the grandeur of God being made manifest in each Day are replace the tendency to sin. To live in accordance with the principals named as the

The Seven Days, lived minus the Seven Deadly Sins in strict accordance with the Seven Noahide Laws are what is meant by the sacrifice of the 700 Cattle.

Seven thousand sheeps and goats= little kids are not going to find themselves convicted of immoral acts, but they will witness them if they take place in their surroundings. They will likewise benefit from as much upright character in their environment as can possibly be provided.

The sacrifice of animals whether routinely or for the sake of course correction is always a healthy experience for the sheep to witness:

13 All who would not seek the Lord, the God of Israel, were to be put to death, whether small or great, man or woman. 

There is no doubt about it, anyone who takes office and is a racist, an anarchist, an apostate, is corrupt- a liar or a parasite who lusts for power and acts out in direct opposition to the Decrees, this person must be put to death. Their supporters, their financiers, their partners, lawyers, friends, anyone who was a part of it must be put to death.

Societies who enforce laws that curb corruption are never, ever sorry they did. And now we know doing so is mandatory, so let's not be sorry:

Shouting=

Shkoyach is a condensed version of the Hebrew phrase Yeyasher Kochacha, literally, "May your strength be directed forward." Ironically, the "forward extension" was shortened, and people didn't have the koach (strength) to say the two guttural 'ch' sounds at the end, so it became Yasher Koach, which when said quickly sounds like Shkoyach.

Shkoyach is a versatile expression. It can be used to say bravo for a great sermon, good on you for being called to the Torah, or thank you for passing the herring. But the meaning is always the same. You have done something good, you should have the strength to do more.

This is much deeper than just saying thank you. Thank you is an acknowledgement of the good deed that has been done in the past. Shkoyach also encourages more good deeds in the future. It is bravo and encore rolled into one.

The message is that no matter how much good we have done, we can always increase. No matter how much we know, we can always learn more. As you know from your conversion process, in Judaism the learning never ends. The Talmud says, "Don't be shy to ask, or you will never learn."

Trumpets =

The Talmud4 tells us that the trumpets were to be made by Moses and they were only for him and not for subsequent generations.

The Menorah, a basic staple of the Temple, is a fundamental symbol of our faith. It represents the G‑dly light, the Torah, the spiritual enlightenment with which the Temple illuminates the world.

Conversely the trumpets that Moses fashioned were simply tools, a “microphone” to call the people to assemble, to lead them into battle, or to announce special festive days.

The Menorah was the message. The trumpets were the medium. One is a basic core value; the other is a means to an end, a method of communication. One is eternal and non-negotiable; the other is guided by pragmatics. If a trumpet doesn’t work and someone invents a loudspeaker, we may well put aside the trumpet and embrace the new loudhailer.

Every generation needs a Menorah (and the fact that we do not have a Holy Temple now is tragic), but not every generation needs trumpets.

Horns=

The Shofar, the horn of a ram with the marrow removed are what convey the blessings of the words of the Torah, the Trumpet into the mind.

Technically speaking, only adult males are obligated to hear shofar. However, women should certainly make the effort to fulfill this mitzvah (in fact, some say that since women have accepted this mitzvah, it has become obligatory for them, and they, too, make the blessing before hearing the shofar), and even small children should be brought to synagogue to hear it. After all, the shofar speaks to the soul of every Jew.

Marrow, or the heart of the bone, is associated with Daat, the essence of the bone or the evidence. When the ego essence is removed from the ramboy's horns and they are empty of any essence other than the pure evidence being drawn in from the outside world, Daat is what is received.

15 All Judah rejoiced about the oath because they had sworn it wholeheartedly. They sought God eagerly, and he was found by them. So the Lord gave them rest on every side.

Once the Evidence Godly Efforts, called Torahs have had their impact and are now rote habit either through the concept of the Temple Portico or the mandates of law, God says we must observe Shabbat.

Shabbat, which means "changes of direction until the objective is reached" is the end point of an era, after which the new one begins. It is similar to the Eastern ideal called Nirvikalpa Samadhi, which means "unwavering union between the subject and the object."

Shabbat like Samadhi follows the same course a point of light follows when reaching an object of perception, called the 7 Days. There is no be returning to any state of delusion or iniquity once Shabbat has been achieved.

שוב

The verb שוב (shub) tells of a reversal in motion; the point where an upward motion becomes a downward one, or vice versa, or a westward motion an eastward one, and so on. This very frequently occurring verb is mostly translated with to turn or return, and is often used to mean to convert or return to a more fruitful way of life, and hence to restore, to retrieve or even to abstain, to reply and to repeat. Noun שובה (shuba) means withdrawal; noun שיבה (shiba) means restoration, and noun תשובה (teshuba) means answer. Adjectives שובב (shobab), שובב (shobeb) and משובה (meshuba) mean backsliding, or transitioning from a positive to a negative way of life.

Verb ישב (yashab) means to sit (the act which occurs precisely in between a person's descent and ascent) or to remain or dwell (in between traveling to and from some place). Nouns שבת (shebet) and מושב (moshab) mean both seat or dwelling place. Noun תושב (toshab) means sojourner.

The verb שבת (shabbat) means to rest or cease activity, and the familiar noun שבת (shabbat) means a rest or stoppage

Maakah = Pressure

מעך

The verb מעך (ma'ak) means to press or squeeze. It's used a mere three times in the Old Testament.

Kidron Valley= valley of gloom

The Queen Mum, Maakah is deposed:

חדש

The verb חדש (hadash), means to repair or renew. This verb covers situations in which an old situation is replaced by a better new one: ancient ruins will be rebuilt (Isaiah 61:4); Saul gathered the people at Gilgal to renew the kingdom (1 Samuel 11:14); and king David famously requested a renewed spirit from God (Psalm 51:10).

17 Although he did not remove the high places from Israel, Asa’s heart was fully committed to the Lord all his life. 

18 He brought into the temple of God the silver and gold and the articles that he and his father had dedicated.

19 There was no more war until the thirty-fifth year of Asa’s reign.

The Gematria for v. 19 is "A Hebrew Sheva" also a "highly perceptive person", which I suspect means the end of one's young adult preoccupations with independence, which are forsaken for the rigors and benefits of marriage and the homestead:

The verb שית (shyt) means to give, set or place firm. Noun שית (shyt) refers to occupational garb, the dress upon which the profession stands. Noun שת (shat) describes a national foundation; whatever a nation is set on.

While a war is not necessary in order for people to learn to live with each other and satisfy the nation's requirements for a happy marriage, transition is definitely in order, and this is often referred to as a war by the Torah.

The celebration of marriages and other sane national institutions are also signs all the commotion, diseases, tyrannies, and troubles of the past are indeed coming to an end. Sometimes, pressing antiquated ideas of progress, which can be enemies of the things that make us all happy in timeless ways are best left in the past.

Hence, the reason the King of Israel took grandma to the old corner Jewish Nursing Home and never went back to visit.

Ruth Part 1

The 8th book of the Bible is Ruth.  It is read every Pentecost.  Just as God redeemed His people from slavery in Egypt and entered into a marriage covenant with them at Sinai on Pentecost, the book of Ruth is about redemption and a marriage covenant.

The book of Judges ends with this verse: Judges 21:25 In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did that which was right in his own eyes.

Ruth, the next book, begins with this verse: Ruth 1:1 Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.

A “famine in the land” in the Bible symbolizes a lack of listening to God and obedience to God.  The last verse of Judges set the stage for the book of Ruth.  No one followed God.

The name “Ruth” either comes from a root noun meaning “companion” or from a root noun meaning “to see”.  I use Abarim publications quite a bit and there is a good article there if you wish. I believe the name Ruth comes from Strong’s H7200 meaning “to see”.  She has “spiritual eyes to see”.  She is opposite of the people the last verse of the book of Judges describes. As I stated above the book of Judges ends with the statement that everyone did what “was right in his own eyes.”  Then we have a book about a gentile convert whose name means she has eyes to see to follow God and His laws.  Makes sense.

Numbers seem to confirm this. Ruth is Strong’s H7327. Bible verse 7327 uses Strongs H7200 “to see”.  They didn’t physically see but they spiritually saw:

1 Samuel 5:7 And when the men of Ashdod saw that it was so, they said, The ark of the God of Israel shall not abide with us: for his hand is sore upon us, and upon Dagon our god.

There are 2 verses in the Old Testament with a gematria of 7327 matching Ruth’s Strong’s number.  Both verses are about God judging the sins of His people and specifically both groups of people burned incense to other gods.  They didn’t have the spiritual eyes to see their sin and turn to God and His laws.

2 Kings 23:5 And he put down the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense in the high places in the cities of Judah, and in the places round about Jerusalem; them also that burned incense unto Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the planets, and to all the host of heaven.

Jeremiah 32:29 And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger.

Lastly, Ruth has a gematria of 606. The jewish people say there are 613 laws.  There are 7 Noahide laws that all people must keep and 606 additional laws given at Sinai.  Her gematria matches these Sinai laws at Pentecost.  Ruth has the spiritual eyes to see the goodness of God and His laws. So Ruth means “to see”.  She has spiritual vision.

She makes this statement to Naomi: Ruth 1:16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

So if Ruth is a picture of the gentile convert then who is Naomi? Naomi is Strong’s H5281 meaning “beauty” or “pleasant”.  It comes from Strong’s H5278 and H5276. There are 3 interesting verses that seem to point to a potential meaning. God is beauty.

Psalm 27:4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple God’s law and commandments are pleasant or beautiful.

Proverbs 3:17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. God’s covenant is beautiful.

Zechariah 11:10 And I took my staff, even Beauty, and cut it asunder, that I might break my covenant which I had made with all the people.

It seems that Naomi is a picture of what I would call “Spiritual Israel”.  Paul indicates in Romans 11 that there is one tree.  This tree is the remnant of Israel that has been saved through the ages or what I would call “Spiritual Israel”.  Some branches have been broken off and others grafted in.  Ruth is a type of those grafted in.  She had eyes to see. Those branches broken off had eyes that could not see.

Romans 11:8 According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear; unto this day.

Combine this with the name of Naomi’s husband. She was married to Elimelech meaning ”God is king”.

The gematria of the verse that says Elimelech died is 2424. Strong’s G2424 is Jesus, the God who is King: Ruth 1:3 And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.

So it would seem that Elimelech is a hint to the death of Jesus Christ that was necessary for there to even be a “spiritual Israel”. Boaz as the redeemer is a type of the Risen Christ.  His name means “by strength”.  By the strength of the Lord we are saved not by anything we do.

COMMANDMENTS & COVENANTS (1)

Enumerated below are the injunctions that the Assembly deems binding on righteous Gentiles and God-fearers. They do not supersede the 613 mitzvot of the Mosaic Covenant detailed in the Pentateuch (Torah); rather, they offer non-Jewish congregants the means for living a purposeful and holy life.

NOAHIDE COVENANT (date uncertain)

• Also known as the Rainbow Covenant, this set of seven mandates is a traditional (oral) extrapolation of Jehovah's post-Flood covenant with Noah. It applies to all people and is largely derived from material found in Gen 9:1-17 par. Jub 6:1-10 and Exod 20:2-17 par. Deut 5:6-21.

(Courts of) Justice - Gen 9:5-6; Lev 19:15; Deut 16:18-20, etc.

Idolatry - Exod 20:4-6 par. Deut 5:8-10; Acts 15:20, 15:29a, 21:25, etc.

Blasphemy - Exod 20:7 par. Deut 5:11, etc.

Sexual Immorality - Exod 20:14 par. Deut 5:18; Acts 15:20, 15:29a, 21:25, etc.

Murder - Gen 9:5-6; Exod 20:13 par. Deut 5:17; Acts 15:20, 15:29a, 21:25, etc.

Robbery - Exod 20:15 par. Deut 5:19, etc.

Eating of Living Flesh <Blood> - Gen 9:4; Lev 17:10-14; Acts 15:20, 15:29a, 21:25, etc.

** Alongside these seven, some, though not all, believers set Tithing (Gen 14:20c, 28:22b; Heb 7:1-4, etc.) and Almsgiving <Charity> (Deut 15:9-11; Matt 6:2-4; Acts 10:4b, etc.).

MOSAIC COVENANT (ca. 1000 BCE)

• As we noted above, this covenant (also called the Sinai Covenant) is the one that devout Jews still observe today - i.e. the Holiness Code as well as additional laws regarding dietary (Heb kashrut, "kosher") and other forms of purity, ritual sacrifice, holy days, and the like. For righteous Gentiles and God-fearers, the Ten Commandments (Decalogue) remain our distinctive focus.

Henolatry: "You shall have no other gods before [Jehovah]" - Exod 20:2-3 par. Deut 5:6-7

Idolatry: "[Y]ou shall not bow down yourself before [graven images]" - Exod 20:4-6 par. Deut 5:8-10

Blasphemy : "You shall not take the name of Jehovah your God in vain" - Exod 20:7 par. Deut 5:11

Sabbath : "Remember the sabbath day" - Exod 20:8-11 par. Deut 5:12-15

Father & Mother : "Honor your father and your mother" - Exod 20:12 par. Deut 5:16

Murder: "You shall not kill" - Exod 20:13 par. Deut 5:17

Sexual Immorality: "You shall not commit adultery" - Exod 20:14 par. Deut 5:18

Robbery: "You shall not steal" - Exod 20:15 par. Deut 5:19

False Witness: "You shall not bear false witness" - Exod 20:16 par. Deut 5:20

Covetousness: "You shall not covet" - Exod 20:17 par. Deut 5:21
