As I write this, it's 20 January 2024 – exactly one year away from Inauguration Day. It's not enough to just hope that Trump doesn't win. We need to be actively engaged in his defeat starting today.

It shouldn't need to be said but I'm seeing a lot of vitriol towards Ashton about their actions and I have to say I don't agree with them.

At the clock tower Fearne brought up the shard, stated that in her opinion Ashton should take the shard because she didn't want it. Ashton decided then as a result they'd take it, but because it was an extreme risk made very aware to them all they knew the other Hells wouldn't allow them to go through with it. Ashton asked Fearne if she was okay with both of them going together alone with the plan, reiterating that they didn't want to put this on Fearne, that if they died Fearne would not be to blame, and that they have no intention of dying, and Fearne said yes.

Fearne having second thoughts at the Ziggurat was just worry, because she cares deeply for Ashton, Ashton kissing her was not manipulation either; it was letting go of fear, having no regret with the person they also care deeply for and taking the risk. And yeah, it was frightening, 10 rounds of perpetual fiery near-death situations and one actual death situation; Laura is fuming, Ashley cannot look, Liam is playing Mad World on loop in his mind, even Matt is completely on edge, but they survived. Accusations that Ashton manipulated Fearne to selfishly take the shard seem to misinterpret the shard saga as well as Fearne and Ashton's characters, they will get a very intense amount of chastising for sure, but it will be out of love, out of the fear that they were going to lose them, not because they thought Ash was manipulative.

Funnily enough, out of the original cast he resembles Sayaka the most, up to fighting at very close range. Makes his deal with Kyubey soon after the flogging, which is why he is aware of the whole "you are now a Soul Gem piloting your former body" thing pretty much from the start and sees it more as a blessing. Considers trapping Tuunbaq and using its energy instead of merely killing it (think Alina Grey and her entrapment cubes). Also he's the one who takes down witch!Goodsir.

As a witch:

In those of Jopson's timelines where Hickey has the time to witch out before Tuunbaq shatters his gem, he becomes Эван Сесил, the elusive witch with a mirror for a face.

The inside of its barrier vaguely resembles London, every house window an empty grave. The witch is followed around the barrier by blinding light, making it even harder to analyze its appearance or movements. Its minions roam the premises on wooden horses, an attempt to still have the mutineers by its side. This witch exhausts you with chases until you slow down and are swallowed up by the ground/walls or stabbed by a minion.

One who fights this witch must convince it that it never existed in the first place.

gen v got me thinkin about the potential of superheroes to be so unbelievably helpful. not fighting bad guys or whatever made up bullshit, i mean like, imagine what marie's blood magic could do if she was a doctor. like, girl can heal wounds and find blood clots and even track your period??? or how much good cate could do as a therapist, it's like hypnotherapy on steroids. or emma as a rescue worker getting into places others can't. or tek knight solving actual murders and shit. or any superhumanly strong supe as a firefighter or, like, construction worker.

im a sonic 06 defender but one of the things about that game that i absolutely cannot defend is its handling of blaze . literally one of the coolest sonic characters ever yet they had her do almost nothing of importance other than die at the end to make silver sad . she interacts with nobody other than silver and on the rare occasion she appears in a scene with someone else she just stands there and says nothing while the other character doesnt acknowledge her existence at all . the only thing she really adds other than dying is making everything way more confusing than it needs to be because her being from the future and seemingly not knowing sonic contradicts what we already knew about her. overall it just doesnt seem like they put much thought into her inclusion and i wouldnt be surprised to find out she was a last minute addition. blaze youdidnt deserve this bestie

not to be an ass but if you're giving so much to fundraisers spread around on tumblr dot com that you're out of money that is a you problem. most are asking for single digit donations or a share for other people to decide of they want to do the same. if they are a scam, make sure you lose money you can stand to lose, and if not, 100 people who can afford to donate $5 each will add up real quick for someone who needs it and will absolutely not be a waste to anybody anywhere. if you have time and energy to research multiple fundraisers yourself, awesome, and if you don't, $1 or $5 or $10 is not going to kill you, unless it is, in which case, you can simply not donate! nobody has a gun to your head. ultimately it is your decision and your judgement call if that's something you can afford to spend, scam or otherwise, vetted yourself or otherwise, as a grown ass adult with functioning free will. it is not that complicated, next question.

considering the state of camp it's likely half of will's medical equipment is failing or from a previous century and therefore so out of date there's no longer parts made for it, so not only are you being prepped for surgery where your surgeon is like 15 but he also walks in with the most out of date unrecognizable equipment you've ever seen and then knocks you out with the anesthetic....
