Fire, dust storms, bugs & the faint smell of burnt wood. It all feels exactly like home. Especially when you have your partner in crime by your side.

Top 10 Sites To Visit in Morocco-Morocco Classic Tours  1. The Erg Chebbi Dunes are located in the Sahara Desert near Merzouga, a small village with a general store, mechanic and a few carpet shops. The Erg Chebbi Dunes have a local legend that says God was upset with a woman and her son, so he buried her in the desert under mounds of sand, thus the Erg Chebbi Dunes were formed. 2. The Place Djemaa el-Fna is located in Marrakesh, which is a midpoint city for many other attractions in Morocco. The square is known for its snake charmers, musicians, monkeys and fortune tellers. These unique characters transform the square into a medieval circus during the evening hours, but during the day the square is open for eating and tourist shopping. 3. Majorelle Garden, a popular botanical garden, is also located in Marrakesh. Designed by Jacques Majorelle and Yves Saint Laurent, the gardens welcome visitors to stroll through them at their leisure. 4. Cascades d’Ouzoud is near Marrakesh and Azilal. One of the more dramatic waterfalls in the area, the cascades were created out of towering red rocks and lush foliage. The water runs into the valley below and the river serves as a water source for Berber villages in the area. 5. While near Marrakesh and the High Atlas Mountains visitors may wish to travel to Todra Gorge, a canyon carved over time by water. The canyon is the last high point before the landscape opens into the Sahara Desert. 6. Koutoubia Mosque in Marrakesh is a 12th-century mosque and symbol of Marrakesh’s past. While the inside of the mosque cannot be accessed by tourists, it is possible to see the mosque from several areas of the city and tour the grounds. 7. Voubilis is the site of several Walili Roman ruins. Built in the third century, the site today consists of just a few walls of the great structures that once demonstrated the power of the Roman Empire. The site is now an archeological dig site, and archeologists work to undercover and preserver what is left of it. Voubilis is located in North Africa near the Rif Mountains. 8. Ouarzazate has located in the desert past Marrakesh and the Todra Gorge. Visitors can visit Ait Benhaddou, which is a kasbah in the Souss Massa Draa Valley, as well as Kasbah Taourirt, which was built by Glaoui. It is also the site of the film Lawrence of Arabia. 9. Morocco’s capital city, Rabat, may not be as well known as the other imperial cities, but it is rich in history. The city’s most famous site is Le Tour Hassan, a tower built during the reign of Almohad ruler Yacoub el Mansour in the late 12th century. 10. In Fez, visitors should check out Fez Dar Batha Museum. This former palace is a 19th-century home of Hispano Moorish background. It has since been turned into a museum housing traditional art.

. . . #femalesolotraveler #femalesolotravel #femalesolotraveller #femalesolotravelers #femalesolotravelblog #femalesolotraveling #viajera #viajeras #viajerafeliz #viajerasnomadasdigitales #nomadadigital #nomada #nomad #nomadlife #nomadict #nomadstories #nomadlifestyle #digitalnomad #nómadadigital #nomadasdigitales (en Honolulu, Hawaii) https://www.instagram.com/p/Ce_ypcfrEDb/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

Some shots of the ice around Niagara Falls when I was visiting Toronto. Only a very small portion of the water was unfrozen, despite all the water movement. I imagine the water underneath the ice sheets must be churning and moving quite fast.

Do you have any tips for someone moving away For the first time? Im afraid I won‘t adjust alone. Thank you ✨
First congratulations! I am a huge supporter of living in different places.
For me, I have always moved a ton. I believe the longest stretch of time I spent in one place consecutively was the end of secondary school (roughly 4yrs). So I don’t usually have difficulty with the leaving part. Maybe remembering that…you can always go back helps? Life is so fluid, nothing is permanent.
In terms of adjusting to new homes though —
• if you are headed somewhere you do not speak the national language, then make it easier on yourself by briefing through short phrases and greetings to get you by as you acquire the language
•bring the skincare/hair care products you are used to, it will bring familiarity
•same thing with a candle! I always pack a candle and light it immediately coming into a new home to have familiarity of scent
•beat jet lag by keeping movement
•set weekly times to communicate with loved ones on other time zones
•CONNECT, you have to make the effort by accepting invitations out and being willing to befriend others eventually you’ll find your tribe
•plug into FB groups, they’re invaluable, of the location you’re moving to
•never sign a lease to a home you have not seen ESPECIALLY in countries that you are not “familiar” with the legalities
•always travel with a canteen or water bottle you can fill up, you never know what you’ll land into
•don’t be afraid of your own company. My favorite memories of the times I have moved have been the slow days I spent reading alone on the beach, or exploring museums or going to ballets, etc. maybe I’m odd but I really like having “me” days, I take myself out on the best days lol

27. Travel to lose and find yourself
It’s been a while since I’ve posted/no one asked but I’m alive! Currently living out the plans I made for 2022. I’m officially in France. I’m staying with my aunt’s about an hour from Paris. This is my third weekend here, and unfortunately, I’m sick. I’m getting over a cold/fever.
Lot’s of things have been on my mind, but the thoughts haven’t lead to anywhere just yet.
I once read a quote that pointed out traveling is a way to find yourself and to lose yourself...I feel a little lost, but not in a depressing way. I’m blanking on what to call this feeling, but I remember my friend telling me the Norwegians have a word for this - wondering around aimlessly. I can’t say I’m actively exploring with a purpose, and I can’t say that I have absolutely no idea where I am in life. However, I do feel, is that I’m missing a purpose. I think my north star is still the end goal, but the drive to pursue isn’t as strong.  For example, I say I’m ready for a relationship but I also haven’t learned to enjoy dating. I’ve been annoyed at guys who make moves on me and have no interest in meeting up with them. I booked all my flights and made my plans to meet up with friends - from Paris, to Lyon, to Budapest, and Bergen. But other than that...no itinerary. I’m telling myself its just my way of living in the moment but it doesn’t always feel as fun as building towards something.
