im so annoyed with everything today, i think i need some tasty food and a million hours of sleep and then I'll be back to normal

#the teacher at the first class today was so dibsjdhdhdhdhsgs 😫#like she was teaching us things that are like unrelated to the class that shes teaching so idek why she was teaching it #but also its things that we have been learning since the 1st semester and we've done them in at least 10 classes and she was acting like #this was the 1st time we were hearing about it #like oh yeah we're on the 7th semester of studying nutrition but no one bothered to tell us how many calories are in a gram of fat #and she gave us homework 'to see if we know this' like #oh yes i can make a meal plan for a child with crohns or cystic fibrosis or celiac disease or everything else we've done this semester and #all the other semesters but i guess i cant tell you what micronutrients are in this one breakfast meal #like fuck off and stick to what you're supposed to be teaching #anyway i know im getting more annoyed than i should but she was just even more annoying than usual today #like she interrupted the lesson every 5 minutes to yell at someome to be quiet i wasnt even aware there were people talking until she yelled #anyway #also my new earphones aren't working well idk why ive definitely not been mistreating them that much for them to break in less than a month #like i had my old pair for at least 4 years until the broke and i dont think the wire got cut in them like the sound was coming out weird #but there was sound coming out. in the new ones you need to hold them in a very specific angle for sound to come out #and like im careful with how i put them away so what is up with them?#my theory is that they make wired earphones shitty on purpose so that you will spend a lot of money and buy wireless #also we had said from Tuesday that we would hang out with my friends today but i guess they forgot or idk and they made other plans #(to go home and sleep) and during the weekend the one friend wont be here and next week my family will be here so we probably wont hang out #again until next year and we have exams almost immediately so we wont be hanging out much then either #also my period is supposed to come soon and i hope that it will either come today or it will wait until after Christmas #ideally it will never come ever again but we cant always get what we want #anyway im gonna go eat the rest of my μεσογειακό and go take a nap #jo says stuff #personal ramblings

sorry about all that. tbh i'm an -sraeli jew[ish-american] and i genuinely like going out of my way to argue with z-onists because i feel like i can understand how they think. part of the reason i started this blog was also because i wanted to make a database/"memorial" for all of these things i found out about palestine for myself to refer back to (and also bc i genuinely love looking stuff up about buildings and religious sites), so "inserting politics into my posts" is also probably a given in that sense, though i'm aware the issue those two people had was more with that they didn't "agree" with me than about my apparent lack of integrity. i run this blog for me, not to indoctrinate anyone into my belief system like i'm jim jones. i don't have enough "clout" to do that either even if i wanted to.

well, back to regular posts ig.

#if it matters to u where i'm 'really from'. well #my mom is iraqi and ''kurdish'' (not really kurdish but that's the name everyone uses. it's complicated)#my dad is ashkenazi but one side is from romania and he apparently had a sephardic grandparent (which i know is not a 1/16 cherokee sort of #thing bc ive looked into it)#so i'm ashkenazi sephardic and mizrahi #pretty much all my family went there from the 1880s to early 1950s so ive probably had relatives who participated in the thing that #happened in 1948 that was not good and i wont name because i dont want all of this to show up on the search function #but also i have relatives that were kicked out of their home countries/not allowed to be refugees in western countries so ended up there #so i see myself as the end-product of colonialism more than anything #something like only ~%10 of the -sraeli jewish population is of mixed ashkenazi/mizrahi heritage so i am definitely in the minority

just got some really fucked up news (that don't affect me directly but still mess me up real bad) but I still have to work and do all my school work including my latin exam in 3 days so that's super cool i guess

honestly one of my least favourite things about online spaces centered around cluster b personality disorders is that they almost treat the disorders as an in joke. like its never quite anti recovery rhetoric but a lot of the times it feels like it becomes this thing where something harmful gets spurred on as a personality trait to nurture rather than a symptom to keep an eye on. freaks me the fuck out.

it could be because growing up i was pretty familiar with cluster b spaces and i lost a couple of friendships due to it becoming this whole "i have this disorder now i have to knowingly indulge the more harmful and dangerous symptoms im supposed to be treating to really prove i have this disorder!" thing.

like babes i still believe youre borderline, you dont need to go full tilt maintaining a numbered and ranked list of the people most important to you and assigning a fp role to someone who frankly is not responsible for your stability.

#i lost a friend yeeeeaaaars ago like almost 10 years ago now #who discovered npd and started using it as a justification for treating us like shit and seeing us as lesser #which was so fucking crazy to me as someone whos pretty fucking certain they have npd #bc if anything its made me a hell of a lot more aware of how i treat people around me #because like theres a lot worse things i can be than arrogant and self obsessed. but i dont wanna be arrogant and self obsessed AND cruel #like i fell victim to the borderline personality trait shit as a kid hardcore #and didnt realise i was probably comorbid npd til literally last year so i dodged that #but literally the reason i didnt realise it was probably also npd is because of how people dehumanize people w npd #like most of my exposure to npd in my own life has been absolute fucking menaces #but so has bpd. the people with bpd who have remained part of my life have always been people w bpd who keep an eye on their behaviour #bc no personality disorder makes you evil but not monitoring your symptoms does almost always make you irresponsible #like its very weird seeing people in my life react wildly differently to the discovery or diagnosis #like i just have 0 energy for people who get a diagnosis and just use it to excuse their treatment of others #and this comes from someone who was The borderline menace at age 16 #i think realising i probably have npd has made me a lot more aware of my own ego among other things #and ive had enough therapy for bpd to feel comfortable navigating most of the npd stuff rn without an official dx yet #bc id say ive already been trying to curb certain behaviour for years now without realising it could be linked to smth in particular #its just a new explanation. but i dont think its an excuse #i hope that ex friend is dealing with his shit better now. i still think hes a dick but he was a struggling teenager so all i can do is like #hope hes grown up and doing better mentally and has better friends. bc god knows our friend group was pretty unhealthy #txt

#meg talks #made myself sad looking for art classes near me #there’s a place not too far from me that does weekly classes for $25 per class #which is… still probably more than i can afford… but it was nice to know a cheap(ish) option exists #but i got sad because the studio used to be located less than half a mile from me #i could have walked there!! it would have been like a 10 or 15 minute walk away!!!!!!#but they’ve moved two miles away 🥲#im. frustrated. it’s such a measly distance if you can drive but i can’t #and i just wish that there was ANY kind of fucking public transit here but there’s not #i just wanna be in a classroom making art with other people again #i miss it so fucking much #i miss making ANY art AT ALL #idk. im just sad.

Welp I have fallen for a plot twist because I'm used to no one in anime being willing to wear a fucking wig.

Not that I know voice actors in general well enough to have picked up who IBOs obligatory masked man was just by his voice after existing for two episodes.

Even though that blonde fucker was conspicuously absent.

#IBO spoilers #To be fair the only other time I've seen wigs in anime was when I watched Death Note and that was more than a decade ago #and of course Team Rocket but their disguises are paper thin by design AND their original voices very distinctive.#Haven't decided yet if IBO got better after the first 10 episodes or if I've just gotten used to of what to expect from it #What I am learning is that Gundam subs are very much a certain way and that the dubs often clarify things that are left implied #(like the subject of a sentence or a clause that gets left incomplete)#so I'm stuck trying to get the subtitles *of the dub* (annoying)#or just watching the dub but with the sub's subs (less work but also annoying)#because my autistic ass prefers details #also me calling whatshisface a blonde fucker makes me think of another notorious anime blonde who WOULD probably kill him on principle #now I've got to titter at the thought of Rein in a mobile suit. it's so out of genre.#edit: welp I've seen ep 43 now. McGillis's backstory is as fucked up as Rein's (well. Annerose's.).

rubber would be cool not to deal with back and neck issues, and stretching your arm to reach for something without getting up is sooooo helpful

logia is kinda hard, becoming and secreting anything can be troublesome or a hassle, maybe kizaru's light? it would be nice and clean with no real fallout damage that wasn't intentional
