Even though it’s very unlikely to happen, I really want to see Kurokumo just let the heroes have it after he’s rescued. Just immediately start lambasting them for using the patients and staff as meat shields, warp away the phones of the business students so they can’t exploit the events in their favor, and let Hizashi know how disappointed he is in the latter’s willingness to go along with such a plan as well as his inability to see someone like Shigaraki as being worthy of being saved when he and Shouta were both ready to drop everything to save him. Then top it all of with him warping his allies to safety before heading back to help free Shigaraki from AFO.
That's fair!
I don't think this is where the story is going either, since I see Kurokumo either eventually reconciling both halves of his identity or dying more permanently after this war. But I think it would be nice if there was some kind of... Reflection, from the heroes, about how killing Kurogiri's charge out of fury on his behalf maybe is not what Kurogiri, or Shirakumo, would've wanted. The story even goes there to hint at it, with the whole cat metaphor in those tartarus chapters. A follow-up would be nice.

Everyone knows about the "mean girl who never opened a book, peaked in high school, now a lonely suburban wine mom who's yet to leave her hometown". What we need to see called out more in fiction is the "ostracized wallflower bookworm who never got over it, is nowhere near as smart as she thinks she is, and makes being an embittered asshole her entire personality way past her 30s". Because THAT is the actual counterpart to the "geek nerdy techbro cryptodude misogynist who's still angry Stacy didn't fuck him despite it being over 15 years ago".

I know the whole reason behind the timeskip is so all the Strawhats can get stronger, and even tho I’m not at that point yet I love how early Oda pushes the concept. They’re still in Thriller Bark and they’re already realizing they’re in DEEP shit if they can’t get tougher. Thriller Bark was such a close call and they definitely would have all been killed if Luffy didn’t get his ridiculously OP power up. Even Usopp realizes they can’t rely on Luffy to bail them out every time, and Moria literally tells them straight up that they’re GOING to fucking die bc they’re going to run into enemies so powerful they won’t be able to do a single thing. Moria saying you’re going to lose every single person you care about because you aren’t strong enough wasn’t just for show, it’s an actual warning and has the MOST massive foreshadowing for future events. GOD. That fear is being planted right from the beginning and I’m NOT ready, no sir

Just a heads up, but if you want some good aroa e rep it's popular but alastor in hazbin is explicitly aroace and that facet of his character is handled really well
Haha yeah I know, it's been kinda hard NOT to hear about it these days 🙈 Arguably I have yet to check out the show but yeah...
(...Is he also aro though? I HAVE heard about that one joke about him being ace but aro's actually the first time I hear about it... Then again I maybe just jumped to the conclusion that it wouldn't come up because from what I understand of his personality he's kind of a horrible person people probably shouldn't want to be romantically involved with for their own sake...? ...Idk that's just all I can observe with my non-knowledge of the show though so please do feel free to correct me if I'm wrong 🙈)
PS: With that said, explicit ace rep is explicit ace rep, it's rare enough as it is, and in a show with that much reach, I appreciate it èwé
