hey. when cis society is oppressing a trans man, what he is experiencing is. In Fact. misogyny. i'm sorry i know none of us like to be reminded of our agab, and it hurts whenever people perceive you as the wrong gender. but a cis person hate-criming, assaulting, verbally abusing, etc, a trans man is not doing "transandrophobia" because they do not perceive him as a man.

they perceive him as a woman failing at her gender, as a woman who has been seduced and lied to and manipulated because women are so easily led astray, just like it says in the bible. they perceive him as a woman who has been mutilated. they perceive him as a dyke that needs to be fixed. if they are hate-criming him because they *do* perceive him as a man, because he passes well enough they aren't thinking he could be trans, then they're doing so out of homophobia, perceiving him as a gay man, a pervert, a sissy, a danger to children. OR, they are being transphobic but specifically because they think he might be transfeminine instead. when cis society oppresses a trans woman, they are able to do it on multiple levels at once. She's a woman failing at her gender, a dyke that needs to be fixed. Or she's an evil and grotesque crossdressing pervert, a rude caricature, a danger to polite society. she will never be doing enough to escape oppression entirely, no matter if she gets every surgery she can and wears makeup every day and passes perfectly, because she lives under a patriarchy, and she's a woman, so she lives in a panopticon, and HAVING to get surgery and wear make-up to be respected IS oppression, especially if the alternative is being hate-crimed.

trans women (and trans men who pass) are not experiencing "transandrophobia" when a 'queer women and nbs" event turns them away at the door for being too masculine. they are. IN FACT!! experiencing the byproducts of misogyny in a patriarchy!!! where the terfs and coward cis women running those events and occupying those spaces have been taught (sometimes through experience, sometimes by men, sometimes by women) throughout life that men = stronger and more dangerous than women ALWAYS. That they need to protect themselves at all times and always be vigilant. That men and women can't be friends without sexual tension (and so as queer women the mere existence of what they perceive as a "man" is a threat). That women need a separate sports league because they can't possibly compete with someone who has even a little bit "extra" (an unquantifiable amount actually because there isn't a standard range) testosterone. That women should cook and men should fix cars. i promise you, i promise i promise i promise. it's misogyny. like!!! you don't say cis gay men experiences "androphobia", bc that's not a thing!! you sound like fucking mens rights activists guys please! you don't say a black man experiences "misandrynoir"!! because living in a patriarchy fundamentally means men do not experience oppression based on their gender. its not happening. shut the fuck up. stop walking us back to 2014 can we please take a step forward and stop bitching about this. there are genuine issues in the world and i'm frankly sick of people who should be smarter than that needing to be gently hand-held through this fucking explanation for the millionth time and still stomping their feet.

Which just makes me want to write a story where Vox leaves an abusive relationship and Alastor takes in Vox but instead of rescuing him, he is instead just as abusive and manipulative albeit in different ways. Trading in sexual abuse for a different kind of toxic relationship.

You seem like you don't know us at all because all of this information seems to have come only from our pinned post/about. You can think we're weird and creepy and block us and move on and we will never care, but sending an ask and coming into our space feels more accusatory than anything.

But more confusing is the actual... content of your ask. Which is why I'm actually responding to this instead of just deleting it.

Not sure where being a system of mostly nonhumans comes into this at all, but us having 300+ members and deciding on a single kintype might seem weird at first but the answer is simple. We did not decide our kintype. Kintypes aren't a choice and ours certainly wasn't. We owe you no information whatsoever and I will not be going into detail but I will say that because we're open about this already, we discovered our kintype recently and the reason we believe we have it is, well, the trauma that caused our system in the first place. That being said, if we did decide to otherlink a single character as a whole, that wouldn't be a problem either, I don't see how it would.

As for Hunter's age, minor nitpick here to start off but he's confirmed to be 16 in the beginning of the series and well, at the end of the series he's actually 20 because four years are mentioned to have passed. Which, if you really want to question us more about that, is our actual current age. So where are we going with this exactly?

Kintypes have literally nothing to do with anything it seems you're implying of us--no matter what age your kintype is. What do you think a therian is? Do you go into a therians ask box and ask them stuff like this? It has nothing to do with anything and it's frankly horrible that you'd go into our inbox on the basis of our kintype and imply that of us.

Literally I don't care if you're just feeling creeped out, people have their personal stuff going on, but sending us an ask is really not the way to go about it. You can block people for any reason whatsoever, we will never know nor care, but I feel like sending an ask is just crossing a line, especially when you don't know us or even have your facts straight about what you're talking about.

I know you no longer consume Marvel content and I don’t know if you’ve seen some, but the whole Captain America movie just keeps getting more random? I wanna preface by saying that we shouldn’t believe the random “news” accounts because they’re unreliable. But from what it’s being gathered from rumors and reliable sources, the movie has a big cast (and like famous faces), Sam going against five villains and also the plot about him proving his worth.

Like I don’t know it seems messy, and to be frankly honest lowkey seems like it’s been done on purpose? To me, it’s getting a little uncomfortable, idk

Listen, I don’t consume Marvel content aside from Sebastian’s, not ashamed to admit that but I really really hope it all ends up working out for Mackie, cause he really deserves to shine is his own damn movie

I haven't really kept up with the rumours or developments, and I would prefer to keep it that way, but I've heard enough to be able to tell you that I've had similar thoughts to yours, nonnie. While, like you said, I'm no longer interested in consuming Marvel content, I do care about Sam and Mackie a whole lot, and I know how important it is for this movie to do well, so I really hope it does. I also hope Marvel does Sam/Mackie justice, because there's no doubt that they, and everyone who's rooting for them and looks up to them, deserves that.

But I'll be honest, I don't have high hopes at all. I think the plot (or what we know about it so far) sounds extremely messy, and the promo/hype building for it so far has been severely lacking, and whereas they've referenced Steve as Cap a lot in recent shows/movies, they've hardly mentioned Sam's Cap at all. That doesn't bode well imo, and I wouldn't be surprised it if were partly on purpose (wouldn't be the first time Disney low-key sabotaged one of its own projects on purpose). But let's hope our worries will prove unfounded, and that it'll all turn out much better than we're anticipating right now. There's still time (I think)

I've had some time to collect my thoughts after a couple of days so here they are even though nobody asked.

I really loved the finale. It was devestating, no doubt, but I think this is their best one yet and I absolutely loved how they handled it. There was so much grieving in this episode, not just from Carlos, but from Owen and Judd as well. But despite everything they chose happiness and the wedding ending up being beautiful and bittersweet and joyful all at once.

There has been the question of deleted scenes but there's really only one we've seen so far that I would have loved to see in the episode. Other than that, I'm just glad we get to have them all as extras. I don't think the wedding needed them though.

Another thing I'd like to add is that yes, sometimes storylines can feel rushed in shows where you have a lot of characters and especially if there are clear favorites within a fandom. There was a lot going on, but that doesn't necessarily mean any one character's storyline is less valuable than another's. I guess I'm speaking as less of a fandom member and just more as an enjoyer of the show if that makes any sense. I love all of the characters in this show, and while I would be lying if I said I liked every single storyline, that doesn't mean I wish they didn't happen. In this case, however, I loved all of the storylines and I think they all made sense together given the theme of this episode. I personally don't think any of them shouldn't have been there in favor of getting more wedding content.

Honestly, my only regret is not getting off of tumblr as soon as the final bts stuff started coming out. I'm pretty bad when it comes to guessing things so if I hadn't been aware of the theories I literally would have had no idea and it would have hit me so much harder. It still got me pretty good though.

Again these are just my opinions so feel free to ignore everything I say if you didn't feel the same. I'm happy though, and I'm going to continue being incredibly annoying about this show. ♡
